a [Music] yes people welcome back welcome back chaffa tunnel it’s a new era it’s a new era Ruben amam is now here at the football club ready to take charge of his first game on Sunday and look we’re all excited as Manchester United fans we haven’t even gone through that sort of generation where we’ve had a few managers like OE vanal Mourinho and stuff like that but the bottom line is obious we had you know THX Ferguson for a long long time and now with got Ruben amarim it’s exciting times maybe the manager that all of us as man united fans have been hoping for the way he speaks conducts himself we’re going to go through all of it anyway um I haven’t streamed myself a long time on here obviously as people know like you know job work you know life it comes first um but I now do want to try and make some regular content and I’m going to shout out was because the timing of life is just weird that I was talking to my boy are busy people would know on the channel about making content again and I was like okay we’ll start doing something from Sunday maybe the week weekend and then half an hour later was messaged me saying T we haven’t made content for a long time should do something and I just thought out have all the timings to do that you know I’m not religious but I’m I very believe in like superstitious ways and how things connect and um yeah man ask give him a follow guys if you haven’t um already I’ve actually put a link down in the description of um an analytical video that he’s put up he does a lot of analysis on football games formations players and stuff like that and he’s going to make more content this season so please make sure you go and show him love and I’ll plug it again at the end yeah W first of all man yeah it’s good to good to see you man yes same same I I I I was thinking in my head like um how come Tai doesn’t do much on traffic tuner like he used to it just the thought just came in my head and then I thought you know what let’s just message you minute because you know what is you see a lot of content on social media but then and you see a lot of like podcasts and debate shows and stuff and then you think like some of them are you feel like some of them missing a point or they’re too strong in this way and then I feel like you know what I want to get my opinion out there yeah good good and I love that and I think the thing is as well because it’s like just us two and whether we do it weekly or monthly or whatever it is we can just you know when like I feel like sometimes on a podcast you can feel rushed sometimes especially there’s a lot of people like that’s that’s no offense the people that you have podcast with and whatever you do them with but you can feel rush but when it’s me and you if you want to talk for three minutes and fully explain a point do it do you know what I mean and sometimes points need that and people want to listen to it and understand oh why does he think like that and this is the platform I feel like we can do that because you know I don’t like to rush it I like to talk through things properly and um yeah we’re going to do that on this show there’s a lot to talk about and over the coming weeks there will be but yeah guys like I said make sure you like this video subscribe and also check out W’s content as well but yeah I’m just going to start with like overall Ruben Amarin really because obviously you know we’ve had the ten hog you know the manager that I thought funny enough W I’ll be real with you when when he came in he was the manager that I fully was behind more than any other manager we’ve had post s Alx because of what he done at Ajax you know what he done in the Champions League the way he came in you know the era has come to an end and I just thought this is a proper coach I just thought you know this is what we need right now at a football club someone that can work with youth can work with the experience yeah he didn’t have the big you know player experience because ax don’t have people like that but I thought he’s just going to come in and give us that discipline and it started off fine preseason was brilliant and then you know first year I felt like he overachieved and then second year it weren’t great third year unfortunately as We Know Wheels have come off and now we’ve got Ruben amarim and I just feel like everything he’s done so far in terms of the way he spoke the way he’s presented himself the way he’s come into the training sessions and carried out his four three four3 straightway and put his principles into play at the moment it’s ticking a lot of boxes and I know it’s going to look pretty at the start a lot of things do you get the buzz as a fan but bro like talk to me about like for Des I want to just try and move on from ten hog unfortunately didn’t work for him and let’s talk about this new the new era now Ruben amun’s here young coach 39 been at sportting Lisbon the fans love him there they’re actually happy for him there no remorse from them how are you feeling about this was he like you’re number one choice like what talk to me yeah with um with hhag funny enough I’m literally like on those points I’m not here to agree for no reason but those points I was I was the same like a proven coach he’s got like a stature about him he’s got a style of play so then he’s gonna bring that into United he’s gonna have the there’s gonna be discipline but I think I think the um number one um issue with tenh was his personality I think 100% his personality I think from when Ronaldo clicked on early on that this guy’s a bit he’s wired a bit differently I think since then I think he just had he’s had issues and issues and issues with his communication his probably lack of empathy towards certain players he’s like he’s like he gas like in fun bases at times say play like this but rarely We Like H we didn’t play like that we just watched the so it’s stuff like that fans start to get fans start to get annoyed and stuff anyway but we move on to did you not F just quickly though even with like communication like being a motivator is so important as a manager in all walks of life you know motivating encouraging I feel like his delivery and this he can’t help this you know that the broken up English sometimes it’s quite hard to understand if someone can’t really understand you it’s hard to get motivated and in football when lose or joy you need to stay motivated whether you’re winning games five in a row to keep your the momentum intact and the consistency and also when you’re losing games and I felt like his delivery weren’t the best yeah I think that’s the same reason why Tottenham turned him down I think communication was part was like part of the agenda like yeah a cross against that um that point whereas other areas he strong and hopefully he does get a job in the future and it’s not it’s not that deep to get I mean we want a man to do exactly and what what R Amar him talk to me talk to me how you feeling because I’m probably saying it’s you’re probably going to say it’s the opposite of how you felt in terms of communication with ten hog yeah so his communication been really good I’ve been we’ll go on the we’ll touch on the press conference in a bit but uh what what I’ve seen with amarim as well is like is is a is first thing dep what what he says we have to see it on the pitch in it we he can we can all we can all say the right things like when we go to a job interview we know the right buz words to say so he could be saying the buz words right now but I need to see it I need to see on Sunday and you see on the pitch I think fans will give him more time if he stands by his word like he said I’ve got an idea I’ve got a philosophy and I’m going to do it my way and so forth so we need to see that on Sunday even if this system obviously they’re going to be teeing problems and player profile problems and so forth but if we can see something like an identity and then we can back uh we can uh we can back that identity and then we know if we get certain profiles we’ be better there once the team um spends more time in training G will get better there overall it improves where it’s it’s not just random it’s like an idea that we all can follow behind I think United fans really need that because with ten hag it was just he did have a system the 316 system and so forth but it was just it was too open it was too open and also like again with his communication he was he was just like going back and forth a lot in it what United want to see is similar how clock went into Liverpool that this is our play these are my players you have to fit the style if you don’t fit the style you can you go on the bench or leave and that’s it and I think that’s what United fans want to see so we’ll know on Sunday again if it’s what do you feel like it’s more like even if we’re not winning games but you can see a principle and what we’re trying to do it gives you something to stand by doesn’t it really yeah I think he said that um winning games give me more time so um so that’s good big up af for by the way yeah lovely guy lovely guy yeah pop footballer what I was going to say is um he said himself that winning games give um give him more time so you know I love that quote Yeah Yeah Yeah carry but I loved it loved it because what he’s doing there he’s not only being realistic because he knows you’re at man united now you can play the good football but you still need results you play good football against ifwi and lose 3-0 mate it’s not going to go well the media will switch on you and the fans will switch on you obviously not this early but but if if it continues that trajectory what we need what we need is the we need the style of play to be implemented obviously over time it’ll take time but also we need results to to like go our way and generally you play better you’re GNA win football games that’s just basic logic so yeah yeah I I’m with you I think that quote there you know like obviously I need time but to get time it’s by winning games I think it’s very realistic like you said I love that he’s come in and like even the interview he he he carried out when he first arrived at the football club the fact that he was able to you know resonate with people’s situations because even as a player he said look I think he played at Brer he played at benf I believe and obviously a couple other clubs as well and obviously played 14 times for um Portugal in and out of sort of the squad OB have that era 2010 to 14 and whatnot but for me it was like look I’m gonna come in I’m gon to play my football and that’s going to be the 343 first of all we have seen that in the training session so we saw you know lukee Shaw left Center back we see massia come back into the fold at left wing back obviously because some players are in international Duty and so forth but the fact is the core principles of what he wants to do he’s come in from the first training session said this is how I want to play and like you said with Jurgen klopp he’s going to stick to it and I hope he does because Jurgen Klo by the way when he first arrived I remember how many injuries Liverpool had in their first season because the high intensity they they finished sixth in the league or whatever it was but he was like I’m going to stand by it then the players all of a sudden improved they got used to this the system become the fittest players in the league and that’s what am’s going to do he’s going to have to find out these players can play their system and the ones that can’t you know you’re gonna have to unfortunately suffer but it’s going to grow but what I loved is when he said look some players are going to be on the bench some players are going to start I’ve been a starter I’ve been a bench player but I’ve also played in multiple positions myself and in my system some there is going to be a little bit of a you know a bit of switch up every now and then he does like to rotate every now and then at the center backs and the free center backs and so forth but it was like I can talk to these players on a level so like it’s not like right you’re the 11 starters and people said this with ten hog he had his 14 players and then the rest were kind of left to the side they didn’t have that relationship the key is he can have that relationship with all the players to keep them part of the squad everyone’s important he’s got his 343 and also it’s the way he speaks and conducts himself I look at Arna slot and I don’t even like comparing us to Liverpool but at the end mean you analyze football as football fans I look at Liverpool and AR a slot he came in no one knew too much about him everyone can see what F have done but no one could say they watch F every week definitely not me but he’s coming and you can see the patience and the football and he’s trying to change it to more possession base but it’s the way he articulates himself in press conferences interviews he’s got clear messages he’s concise his delivery is good and me as a fan can understand it I’m sure the players can too so at the moment everything am’s doing is exactly what Manchester United need and now the fans alongside the players need to just get behind this manager because for me I don’t think there’s many out there that I could say right I’m picking over amarim I’m not going to sit there and say on streams I’m I was screaming Amar is my first choice I had like a couple in my head that I was like okay you know amim I had nman in my head as well um Thomas T is never keen on because I think it would end like Mourinho there wasn’t like loads of managers W I was like right I wanted this football club but when I saw the am links there wasn’t a part of me that was like like you know what I’m not sure because of this or no I was like you know this is exciting Liverpool is even looking at him in the summer you know he’s a fresh manager he’s young he’s got good man management skills he’s got fre for fre players play for him he’s got sporting lisb been doing well in the league like there was a lot of ticks in the boxes there weren’t something where I was looking at like oh he’s clash with this person I’ve heard this and that’s why now I hope it does transform onto the pitch and win games because look ultimately West when you look at the season so far right Europa League obviously we’ve won our last game against um pook so we’re still very much capable of progressing automatically as well you’ve got the carabal cup we’re still in of of course we Face spurs in December we got the FA Cup don’t start till January and the league where you look at the consistency we’ve already seen it Liverpool are flying man city in in and out because of rogery you’ve got Arsenal that at the moment are struggling creativity wise they’ve got Ard back then you’ve got Chelsea Spurs is yilla Newcastle Brighton’s all on a yo-yo at the moment up and down we’re four points off third I believe with the way we’ve played this season without a proper manager in terms of amarim plays all ticking and in a new formation which actually probably would get the best out of our players this season’s all to play for like he’s coming at the right time West literally yeah would you agree no I I I agree with that because um despite how poor we’ve been everyone else have has not been have not been that consistent clearly because if they were as consistent as Liverpool for example they would have created a gap the Gap actually isn’t sometimes you think our team’s doing bad our team’s doing bad they look at the table it’s like we’re only four points behind them which is basically a win and a draw like we’re not much behind him hopefully we get three points on the weekend and if once you get these three points and a team gets maybe a win a draw and a loss that’s when you start your wins there the differences in points they start adding up adding up adding up and you just eat away at the table and you climb up the table I think absolutely we’ve got all all to play for obviously we ultimately we don’t know till we play on Sunday and um the pros of the formation the cons of the formation the the pros of certain players and certain players might struggle in certain positions for example if we saw the um I think the game that many United fans did watch was sporting lisb lisban versus Manchester City yeah so if we saw in that first half we saw him play the 523 or how you want to say 3 421 obviously it changes dependent on position def attack yeah yeah Wing backs yeah yeah so then um what H what happened in the second half because obviously he’s only got two Central midfielders in his uh say uh in his um 3 four two1 he’s only got two Center midfielders but in the second half he added another he added another midfielder to that two to make it a three and then it became a 532 and the issue was in the first half because City had Rico Lewis going into Midfield at fold and at four V2 against against their two Center mids so he’s going have to make those adaptations because their left Center mid what he couldn’t do was pick up Rico Lewis and also shut to the left all the time have to make those runs and even and when he’s moving out of position what’s happening is literally one cent in mid left against three players and then that’s the Kobe Manu position so big big big emphasis of Kobe Mayu not in terms of his dual winning dual winning is quite good but in terms of his running power we and that is that is something that you know I love I love kobby and I think he’s going to be a great player but in terms of obviously yeah his engine up and down the pitch that is something that slightly does worry me and look a player can’t have every attribute and and I get that casemiro the same as well you know casemiro is very good in the eight roll and getting on the end of things it’s a running back it was quite funny actually you mentioned that because when you think of the training session that the video we’ve all watched I’m guessing you’ve watched a seven minute video as well yeah you know when they lose a ball they’re all running back which is which is which I loved because actually we’re going to touch on it of course with the press conference and stuff but you look at what we’ve been bad at in terms of the last 18 months teams hitting Us in transition has been one of the biggest things by see and you know the fact that he was like right I’m going to get them doing this it’s more muscle programmed and as we’re older now there might be young people watching this now and big big up if you guys are and stuff like and you’re watching the show and enjoying it but as you get older you know and you’re playing at his highest level it’s all about the muscle memory and it’s it’s like programming them into it like right okay when you get to ipitch on Sunday if you lose the ball in transition what have you been doing all week right we’re going to run back it’s not like right we’ve got to do this because now we want to impress the manager no it’s drilling people into knowing what to do in the same way when we have the ball and we’re attacking in phases players known where to be you know back post whatever it is cutbacks and so forth you just keep repeating something because then you know and it becomes a pattern and you keep doing it over and over again and I love the fact that he was doing that you know lose the ball get back and and run run in transition and you know he is going to be exciting to see what he does I’m just going to get through some of the comments as well big up guys that are watching it’s 2024 Das the pillow kishan Dash to pillow big up you guys love that what a manager um hopefully so I hope we’re saying that big up simp as well long time brother I hope everything’s well I want to see us have an identity the results will come exactly that consistency will build he still needs time we don’t need to be reactionary 100% I won’t be and I hope you won’t be and I’m sure West won’t be as well we’ll be looking at as the the whole bigger picture um that first team Sheet will hit like crack do you know what rodick I’m so we’re GNA do a team sheet at the end actually and see what me and West think we might agree on some things we might have to just come to an agree or disagree and go on it but we’re going to go through what we think the team will be because I’m so excited too I don’t know what what we’re gonna pick could be right it could be wrong so um yeah we’ll wait and see and big up Sao in the chat as well as I see he was there but um I just want to um yeah touch on a few things because obviously as we’ve seen today um he has had his press conference um Eric ten hog don’t know if they come up yeah so they they come up there I’m just going to scroll what I’m going to try and do is go to the bottom and then we can work our way up and just stop at a few that you know what I mean um W yeah yeah um and go from there um so the page goes down to there so um any that you want me to stop on obviously we’ll just elaborate on a bit more but look we have space to grow as a team we need to improve a lot of areas we are changing in the middle of the season a different way of playing so we need to improve the physical aspect as we just mentioned which you know I think that’s important straight away that he’s noticed the physical aspect um if you want to speak about the team I think we lose the ball too often and we have to be better at running back I think that is clear to everyone and I think we have to be better on the details what did you make of just them two comments straight away yeah so the first one you touched on it regarding the physical um physical um like your physical specimen your physical prowess basically because because because a lot of positions are going to be demanding and if if if they’re demanding off the ball off the ball whether he’s pressing or getting back into shape and and so forth or making recovery runs you have to be you have to be physically an elite that’s why someone like Mason Mount if he can say fit minus his injuries he could fit in the system who knows it might might uh play in a different position we we don’t know yet but yeah physically we need to be there also what was a really key point is cuz this 3 421 formation the wing backs there’s a lot of emphasis on the wing back because if a team defends narrowly the only way you can go around them you got two options you either go over them because you’re not going to go through them because they’ve compact they compact centrally so you can only go round them how can we go round them if our wing backs are not high enough so the only reason your wing backs can push on is if you retain ball retain the ball in Midfield you retain the ball in Midfield now you wi back can go I’m done L I’m looking at ATI are you playing it into Ahmad ahmad’s ahmad’s made it stick now I can go cuz I can just keep going I can’t just keep going because then how many space am I going to leave in behind you get what I mean so yeah 100% based on the plays in front of you yeah and and I think to be fair the keeping the ball bit is is going to be huge um because one we don’t want to get hit in transition but at the end of day if you if you have the ball more you’re going to get more chances and you’re going to you know create more opportuni and I think in this sort of formation as well you need intelligent players that can retain the ball because what I like about this personally in terms of the formation as well is that I think and I said this on a mandm talk and S channel is that I feel like this formation brings out the best in a lot of players but also hides deficiencies and I think you know that’s going to be something that you know me as a football fan I feel quite wholesome about because you know we’ve seen the 316 for example leaving CER there on an island by himself hasn’t got the legs he can’t do it he’s not like a Moises cedo for example can get out the pitch you know this 343 people that aren’t maybe so great on the ball like casemiro AG but are very good at you know being a terrier like winning a ball back they’re able to now do that because it’s going to be so compressed in there they’re going to be able to go in short short bursts and pinch the ball back and be a bit of a terer because they’ve got prot protection of three center backs behind them but also you’ve got two tens that can come in as well drop in and help when you go right m m you may Mountain as the example a got might go and press Mount can then drop in and fill the gaps it’s going to be more compressive it’s going to be tighter I feel like it’s actually going to enhance our player profiles rather than taking away from them yeah we might not be as Dynamic at Wing back and that’s something that over time I think we’re gonna have to sort of address and improve and it looks like we’re going to do that in the summer mazari I love him one of the best signings we’ve made for the price but also the consistency but also I know he’s not a flying win back up and down he’s so good in possession Dow maybe suits that that role a bit more can be a bit like Pedro porro and get up and down but also the two10 we’ve seen it already Amad Dio player that could play on the right I prefer him in the number 10 role but not as a so 10 I think this suits him perfectly ping in like maybe a 210 in the inside like a better version more a more agile and quicker Bernardo Silva is how I look at him kind of then you got Bruno say again similar to let MATA in that position and so yeah do you know I mean yeah he can do that but he just got a bit more like speed about him and you got Bruno as we know can play in that role fine and then obviously then we can try and get chances to the striker so I think it is going to be very interesting in terms of you know we need to keep the ball better but I think this formation actually improves the squad rather than takes away from them because it definitely does high deficiencies in there let me get some of the um more more of these quotes up as well um we’ll go through them right now it was quite a lot to be fair I bet it was a long pre press conference we have to approve on a small things as he said there Mourinho having a little chat with him um football these days is different and I think I’m the right person for this moment and I’m a young guy when I start this week you can say it’s just one week and three training sessions but they are open to different things the only the only thing I can ask of them is hard work and you have to believe in the ideas it’s a belief you have to believe and I believe in them I think well I think that’s quite important what he said there because the squad are quite low on confidence so it’s showing already that okay you know I’m going to back the these players and they want to learn you know they want to take it on board you need everything as a new manager you need to show that you’re going to back these players first because otherwise they’re never going to get on the board in the first place would you agree with that yeah spot on because um end of the day there’s one manager and there’s a squad of 25 people you get what I mean yeah you’re out you’re outnumbered in it even if you got a staff of five you could six of you against 25 you’re still outnumbered and never mind their contracts and so forth and the value and assets uh they are to the club so in in that just from like a logistics uh perspective you have to be smart in that way and then in a more personal perspective you have to get the players on board and then they buy into the idea because players are just like humans they talk after 100% have a group chat they might text each other or six session today whatever they like that a lot of English in there do you get what I mean and a lot of Clicks in there so sometimes it’s like I think he needs to get the leaders of the dressing room on his side first Caso side get the leaders and then that filters down because then the leaders can put the younger ones in order do you get what I mean yes yes and work together like he said he’s a young coach he is 39 he’s he’s only like three years older than Cas four years older than casamero you know what I mean and and I agree I think having that in today’s modern modern game I think having that link and being closer to the players look the year is different to what we grew up on obviously we’ve watch football a long time but the generations have changed the these 18 to 23 year olds coming through today are not the same as what it was when we were growing up do you know what I mean and you have to handle them differently sensitive wise as well people are more sensitive today than what they were back then you’ve got to manage different profiles especially in the dressing room um I like this one as well I have a two and a half year contract in two years you can understand if I’m the right manager or not he’s not he’s not excuse my language but no [ __ ] straight to the point he’s I’ve got two years as a coach to get my idea across to get these players is performing to get us winning games and to get us climbing the ladder which is in the league which is the most holy grail consistent over 38 League games and progressing as a football club I think that’s fair I think the fact that he’s actually admitted himself do you know what look if I don’t make this team improve from today to two years time maybe I’m just not the right manager for this club I I think that’s fair and if he does perform he gets a new contract and we have a manager that we can get behind even more and back longer I think two years is fair what you’re saying there do you agree yeah spot on because if sometimes a season a season may not be long enough depending on your incoming as well in terms of what players arrive and also the cons consecutive games and numerous competitions sometimes you can’t Implement your plan as much as you want to but I think over two seasons over two years that’s enough that’s adequate time because they’ve also got a preseason in there as well so yeah I agree yeah perfect perfect I agree as well with you and I’m what I’m going to do I’m just going to scroll through somebody if there any you want me to stop me at just say oh stop at that one yeah um I have a great responsibility when we choose players because I’m the manager I’m the head coach I have to choose the players uh that’s a video I haven’t watched yet um the man united players want to play in this first moment they just want to play it’s easy so in the future we will see you can watch them on TV but you have to train with them to see if they can play in different positions everyone wants to bear with me um everyone wants to play now if they have the opportunity to play as a goalkeeper they will I like that because it’s showing that you know they they’re Keen to impress and and that’s definitely what you want um the players will sometimes have to play in Another position and fight for the team I would defend the players until the end I can lose my job before I put one player in front of the bus if the player does not fight for the team I will be the first to talk to him yeah so what he’s saying is he saying I will Buck you completely but what I want in I want a reciprocal relationship basically you have to me completely yeah if I don’t get enough in this relationship when Mak it into like dating then you’re not good enough for me because that’s that’s that’s a boundary I put in place like I need re reciprocation it can’t be a 9010 relationship or an 8020 you it is to be at least 60 40 or 55 45 we have to be close or if if you’re like that so away and you’re not up to the standard then you’re off that’s that’s essentially what he seen yeah I’m I’m going to give you the opportunities to play and you got to perform and then you know it’s on you to then keep yourself in a team perform or even put hard working if not then you done it to yourself no I agree with you yeah yeah and I think we’re in that position now where we know that you know some of the squad’s had a bit of a clear out some players still need to go and it’s a last chance for some players and it’s an opportunity for some players that have signed and maybe not felt like they’ve had a fair crack at the whip so um yeah it’s going to be so interesting um I feel like they’re the main quotes we’ve gone through just then um they’re the ones I’ve seen is there anything that’s caught your eye that wasn’t on there that um has raised attention to you that you um want to talk about no I think that was round about it I think the the one about not losing the ball so cheaply was a big one I think he I think he saw it in training because it’s like he there was yeah there like because he said it as if he’s already seen it but the players have so the only way you could have seen it is in training so then maybe in training theyve they’ve gone too direct too early or something or not recycle possession and come go the other way and patience impatience probably yeah trying to yeah trying to play that killer pass a bit too early so I think that’s been a point yeah I think it’s it’s going to be so exciting and so interesting to see man guys make sure you smashing a like on the video got a Defender that might have a bit of a weakness defending in the channels but the m mazwi is not the most attack if fullback either I actually feel like the left side and right s side go hand in hand Martinez is not great in the channels but mazra is also not going to be bursting forward because he’s not the most attack of fullback he’s a more rounded fullback so actually that helps Martinez CU he’s on Ma is on that side whereas yoro he can defend 1 V one he’s got the recovery Pace we’ve seen him you know do the recovery runs like of Iran and you know the first game he played against Rangers where he got injured he made a great challenge where a player was One V one so he can do that and it also compliments Dow because Dow can then know right I’m the more attack of Outlet out of the fullback I can then get forward but why because I know that yoro has got the recovery pace and the ability to step in here or make the recovery run so really W it really does complement what we’re doing at the moment let’s go into it so um let me find Dow and we’ll do our do our Midfield and then Mai as well um which is good I like this analysis so far um and then in Midfield what what are we because for example the bory um one week it could be say yo gets injured maeri could play where yoro is 100% play where yoro is he can play those Center back positions and drift out to the right back position he’s got the intelligence he’s got the strength he’s he’s almost like a complete footballer defensively and then also Delo could possibly play where masera is and Anthony could play rightwing back so their are not fixed and then uh Bruno Fernandez he because he’s more of a um like rate more higher rated United player he might stay in the team a bit longer but also players are going to challenge his position gacho will want to challenge his position um xery will want to CH challenge his position yeah and kobby Manu potentially could get get into that position and Mason M so there’s like four players that potentially could play that position and then rashford H’s gonna challenge his position so pretty much everyone’s going to be challenged I think Dio I think he’s got the most chance out Al your players to actually stick in that position sticking and don’t you think as well when you look at big up Cam and big up Lu as well thank you for watching don’t you believe that like in terms of the profiles look Bruno Fernandez is the captain and I get it he’s going to play of course he is but Ahmad is the perfect profile for this number 10 role and it kind of reminds me of when Chelsea won the league with Antonio Conte I think it was Eden Hazard and Willian in the two1 and Victor Moses was out on the right wing back that had Victor Moses playing right wing back had a Stell season it just goes to show look you don’t have to be amazing but if you get the program you understand what you need to do not the not the most amazing player can still have a great season like Victor Moses shown and I think Ahmad in terms of his ball carrying his intelligence his ability to retain the ball in Pockets he can score he can create I think if you said to Amad pick your favorite position and pick your favorite formation he would pick that role that we have for him right now if he plays well he is the best player and that’s over Bruno Fernandez in that role he should be starting week in week out whether he can stay fit is another thing and hopefully he can with the intensity and and you know getting the Run game but this is tayor made for him and I love it because actually there’s not many football players out there right now that I could think are Taylor more made for this this formation than him you know you’re looking at people like Jamal miala really and you know what I mean yeah those sort of uh mold of players in it I think um with the two narrow number 10 as well what he likes is like one to be like a dribbler and one to be like a crator so kind of It kind of fits those profiles like Bruno is the he’ll pick the ball he run with it do you get what I mean yeah and he come he can come out wide and link up with Del and these sort of areas as well yeah 100% yeah I do think I do think it’s exciting carry on carry on I think a potential issue with the squad that I mentioned was um I mentioned the left Center mid position but because maera is there I think maera is not going to be too advanced say Mas High Wing back we pushed him up a bit higher then kasa’s got a lot of he’s got out there to their right mid uh right mid and he has to go to Center mid like do you get what I mean so it’s it’s too much it’s too much you have to drift unless unless you get this and it’s like right we’re going to dominate the ball more and we’re going to think that that shape’s going to constantly change cuz he he he does quite a lot sometimes he defends in a a 532 sometimes it’s a 442 sometimes it’s a 5-32 so it it depends sometimes on what you know what and and like you said and just touching adding on that like you said if it does go to a 532 it’s basically one change again because all it is really is look you know mazra just Mai Lally coming will then get chances I’m not sure on rashford as the long-term solution at number nine we’ve got different profiles that rashford for me is more of a Winger but he can’t play in his formation as a Winger because he won’t do the defensive work as much and he’s not a number 10 where he can play in Bruno oro’s role so he has to make it work at number nine or he’s not going to make it work any any time so to get the first chance as the number nine I feel like right this is the chance for you to now shine and do what you can do I know your holdup play is not great but if you can get chances and strike the ball well like you do you will score goals you’ve got hyand who I feel like the most rounded striker in terms of yeah I know he’s back to back to goal play he annoys people but he can still hold it up he can still give and go and he can still you know his conversion rate when he gets clear chances he’s not bad I feel like he’s the most rounded and the most yores closest sort of style of player that we have xery I do like him I think the pace of the game just get to him and at the moment with Bruno and Ahmad if you then have xery no one’s stretching it no one’s really getting him behind we saw his Turner Pace against Chelsea when he got put through and goal in the last 15 minutes unfortunately he’s not quick enough so xery is the last Striker for me on the list that I will play it’s got to be rashford and hland and rashford is going to train this week he’s going to get the chance I’m fine with that I’m not going to against it because if not H’s going to be sniffing to do you not have like a personal analyst that highlights your moments in a game and says look you could have made this one here you’re getting too tight with the Defenders you’re fighting the defender instead of creating space because you because if you’re against a Defender he’s going to nudge you and your foot’s going to move and you’re going to the ball’s going you’re not going to be in full control of the ball why do you just push away and and create a yard to be to be defensive OB and come back say um I can’t remember the word it’s like when you’re coming back to something Devil’s Advocate that’s it to be Devil’s Advocate say for example xery like someone say xeri a slow just going to incorporate some of the comments xer a slow we can still play and build up in a way to use his are not this formation will now iron out those cracks and that’s what I like you know people could talk about proximity and people not being close well they’re going to be people close to you people say you’re stretch the pitch on getting enough chances well this formation should allow you to do that you can have two Wing backs flying up the pitch or being further up the pitch giving you chances I feel like now there’s no places to hide for any strike as W and this could be Rooney with his last chance this could be holand showing that okay amarim I can be one of your guys to be here for the long run or xery you know what yeah started poor the first few months but I do I can give you something they’ve all got asteris by their name with points to prove and this formation should now allow them to have no excuses where before we could say look 42 31 yeah players not close to you we’re not keeping the ball well enough there’s always something I believe that this is the time now yeah my issue with xery is not that I think he can combine with the uh the two number 10s and he can be an attacking threat but it’s just his it’s the positions he picks up in the match you can’t drift all the way to left mid and Center mid and float away with the BL like uh butterflies you need to Hold Your Position a bit more he needs to be a bit more cured otherwise if he’s if he’s stepping off the defense am Amad stepped off the defense Fernand stepped off defense they need they need completely agree I I I do completely agree I think it has to be hland or rashford I think they’re the yeah but only xeri could work but he needs to stay within the pro proximity of the eight Yard Box sometimes drop a Tey bit off the 18 yard box but don’t be going all the way to Center mid and picking the ball up like the opposition defense is going to be uh having a great game because we need to pose a threat to the opposition we need to we need to make them worry about spaces in behind and so forth that’s why it’s about having that blend of uh three in my opinion well combination 100% 100% even at times I thinking as well you could potentially see this and I know we know like Bruno on the fourth nine but you could see at times it just spin off into something like that where rashford actually goes a bit more Dynamic and then Bruno sort of goes a bit more Central and then Dio feeding off the right as well I’m not saying I think that’s going to happen but again how we made one change to the back four and we made it a back five or a back um sorry back three and made it back four or back five it could be the same with with the attack you know yeah it could also be doo as the 10 and then it could be as xeri and a rashford as two Strikers yeah it could be yeah it could easily be something like that this is what I love there’s so much flexibility when you don’t realize how much flexibility is until you’re fiddling around with the mouse do you know what I mean and it’s just in front of you and you’re like wow like this can this can really be something different scod says we finally got a coach not like that Dutch Football the te- word glad he is gone uh we talk about players making runs do we actually see holand making runs where is this pace that people speak of when it comes from him um I do think he has Pace I do think I’m not saying he’s overly quick he definitely has Pace I believe when you see joarez you don’t this is right this is the issue when I look at holand I do think he’s the closest profile to yakes but one thing I’m I keep sticking in my mind is this is not the Portuguese league you’re not going to have all that space where you know you’re going to get the ball at the halfway line and one pass like you saw against Man City and Yakaz is running through playing Manchester United in the league the pitches here in the England are smaller as well teams are not going to be silly enough to just press up fully up high some teams will leave gaps and if they do rashford and hland will be there to exploit it but I’m not expecting it to be where we’re just going to get loads of chances and teams are going to allow us just to play the ball through on One Touch passes and room is going to have to work as a coach to actually find ways to break down teams and to be a bit more Dynamic himself as a coach but I feel like he’s in that mindset now amarim where he’s probably excited for that and that’s what I want I want a coach that wants problems I don’t want a coach that’s going to come here and it’s just going to be easy you need to you need to see problems you need to see ingame management like you said against Man City 3v2 in the Midfield he may he made changes in Midfield got the best out of the players turned it around three goals however they came penalties or goals goals or goals it’s going to be so interesting to see W what he does what I wanted to do just before we wrap up because guys this is our starting 11 for the weekend as you can see Anana LeAndre Martinez deit yoro Dio Doo agarte casemiro and mrai Bruno Fernandez Ahmad and Marcus rashford in the nine row I think with the hland and xery point just did touch on it last Point yeah I think um what’s his name um I think holand if if we’re just comparing and keeping it very simple attributes wise in terms of speed he is quicker than xery in terms of in terms of uh latching onto a ball if you’re if you’re sat back in your deep block and you’ve played a ball on top over the top most likely holand will collect that ball more more more times than XY will just simply based on speed and in the Box in terms of instinctive runs I think um holand even though it’s Ed proove I think it’s still slightly ahead of Zer xeri but Zer has uh Z xer holder play is fantastic really good he he he hardly loses the ball so there’s a lot of positives with him and the reason when I said the two Strikers the one behind the two because then you have a runner in behind and then you have can drop off and try and do his martial sort of yeah yeah yeah no I agree with you I think there’s there’s definitely options there and it’s going to be so interesting to see what amim does I think we’re going to have even more to take away from it once we see what happens on Sunday that’s the exciting part we’re doing all this without even watching us play yet and I think that’s that’s the excitement of it there um I think there’s you know there’s more stuff I want to talk on but you know we’ve done an hour already so I’m going to save it and we’ll talk on more stuff next week I’ll probably ask you to come back on next week and we can actually talk about the game reflect on some players that we didn’t think got an opportunity but what we could see works for them you know there’s players have got under the radar for example Mason Mount I think could be important in this team now with this formation I think this is the perfect Mason Mount formation again so um
