hello everybody Welcome to the United stands I’m M goldbridge and this is your latest Manchester United news as Ruben Amry moves close to his first transfer this will be Diego leyon the left back from Paraguay who is I believe 17 so we will be getting him for about3 million lots of stuff breaking about this from this morning I’ve got to give a shout out to mufc mpb I know they didn’t break the news but they were the first one I saw it from so credit there lots to discuss as well we’ll also be talking about Marcus rashford’s price also want to talk about Jose wanting Justice for Manchester United Anthony Taylor is going to referee Manchester United against Man City at the weekend as well lots to get into and um let’s start off with this then I mean look let’s be honest this is not the signing that’s going to change the world for Manchester United instantaneously um he’s 17 years of age the latest is that we will be paying around3 million for him Advanced talks fear greed and um he will join us in the summer so next July is what’s being mentioned Romano’s spoken about it Ben Jacob’s spoken about it everybody spoken about it and um effectively this is you know it is slow sport slow goldbridge sports news I was meant to be doing this at 10 o’clock this morning headliner but I’ve had things going on personally so apologies uh but we are live now and in a way that’s not a bad thing because the story has developed from potential to going to happen in fact in the last few minutes uh we’ve had uh further confirmation that um Manchester United from the athletic um are uh very close to getting this deal done he’s a highly rated young Prospect by United and he would be one for the future rather than an immediate first team option that’s coming in from the Athletics so this for me sort of sits in between an Obi Martins type of signing and a yoro type of signing and I think that’s the best way of describing it and I bet nobody else has done that so Obi Martin lar con come in as highly touted 17y olds with loads of potential yoro comes in as an 18yearold that Real Madrid want that’s ready to play straight away and I think from what we’re hearing in relation to Diego leyon he sort of fits in between that three million pounds he’s not ready for the first team like yoro but he’s slightly ahead of maybe a con and an Obi Martin and that therefore he’s a player for the future left-sided player we do need one of those I think some people are getting a bit excited because they’re thinking left ided player he’s going straight into the team in January he can’t sign until July he’s got to be 18 to leave he’s 17 at the moment and at 3 million and 17 he’s not ready for the first team yet some people are talking about Harry amas what does it mean about Harry amas says Callum I don’t necessarily think it means a hell of a lot um Harry amas is not ready at the moment so I mean oh we’ve got a young prospect that might be good for our future in Harry amas let’s not go and buy somebody else that we’ve scouted who might be good for the future as well at the end of the day it’s like having a bag of sweets and having only one left I’d rather have four or five left and that’s what I mean like Harry amas could be a player for the future but so could this Leon and for3 million pounds if he’s well scouted and we’ve mentioned this before the South American Market is a market that man united have been looking at for a long time ever since ten hog came in obviously Ajax had a great record there this was something that ten hog and the club wanted to do and we are starting to do it as well so I I think this is real positive patience is a virtue and patience is what Manchester United’s all about so I think with regards to this story it’s exciting it reminds me of cedo a few years ago we didn’t do that deal look what happened there it looks like we’re going to get this deal done and I’m excited about it but it will be a longer term deal it’s three million pounds he’s won for the future and he won’t be here till the summer so first signing for am looks like it but it’s another great young signing and I agree with Jay reacts on that and we’ve got a lot of these players now Leon looks like it’s going to get done lar from Palace Obi Martin from Arsenal K’s come in from Marley wasn’t it we have the lad coming in from Australia as well uh is it overy or something like that or Avery so there is an accumulation of young Talent that’s coming to Manchester United and of course not all of it’s going to hit but um I agree with Emil and his Super Chat we should have been tapping into this Market ages ago and this is about Recruitment and this is where it can work well under inos as well so look take the positives with the negatives I suppose Harry can grow to become come better than Luke Shaw says Constantine I’ve got high hopes for Harry amass 100% I really have um but I think this is an interesting deal it doesn’t impact January it’s for the summer um smash a like I think it’s a positive deal to do there we go um Patrick Lynch says I feel like these deals are great for culture resetting getting young talents in that can work and grow together is important it sets the culture now yeah I agree with that Patrick get your thoughts in so one for the future definitely uh one for the present um obviously the Marcus rashford story keeps developing um interesting what we’re getting today obviously there is a press conference with amim later which will be reacting to but interesting in relation to that and what’s been said because I look at it and I go hold on a minute lots of people are talking about rashford’s price being 60 70 million and I don’t think anybody in our community’s mentioned that and it’ll be very interesting to see what amim says cuz will be asked about rashford and he might say absolutely not for sale under any circumstances he’s massive part of my Pro part of my team or he might say I don’t want to talk about it and everybody’s got an opportunity he’s not going to say he’s up for sale that’s not going to happen but I think that if there is any Prospect of rashford going people need to stop and I saw a journalist talking about it this morning man united would be looking between 60 and 80 million pounds and I was like well man united a bloody thick then if we are looking to get rid of rashford you have to accept it’s failed you don’t have to accept his whole career is a failure but you have to accept that at the moment it’s not working so if that’s the case o he’s only a year into his new contract he’s on 325k a week or something I think in that case you’ve got to accept discount you’ve got to look to move him on and I think that as we’ve said before it would be good for his career good for Manchester United but you’ve got to make it you know appetizing for the people that are going to buy him and would say therefore you’ve got to be looking at somewhere around somewhere between 30 and 50 million pounds I think that’s how you do that deal that’s how I do that’s that’s what I think anyway um a few other things I want to talk about as well I’m really struggling today by the way I will be on at 7 o’clock tonight but um that’s not why I didn’t do a morning show but I’m not I’m not feeling great today so I’m just trying to get through it um not get through it that’s that’s not what I mean but I’m I’m willing to um um breathe properly so that’s why I keep swallowing and swallowing um also wanted to talk about Jose Mourinho um Jose Mourinho has spoken about Justice for Manchester United he’s been asked about the 115 for Man City and he said all I want to see is Justice we’ve seen smaller teams like Everton and Nottingham Forest get points deducted for financial fair play I just want to see Justice when it comes to Man City he he he pledged his you know relationship with Pep Guardiola who he likes but he was just very much about I want to see Justice for Manchester United um we finished second place it’s one of the you know best things I’ve done in my career and potentially as we all know that second place was to Man City who may or may not have done things wrong so I thought that was quite interesting as well Anthony Taylor would be the referee for the Manchester Derby on Sat Sunday Comey Kumar I don’t I don’t think it makes a massive amount of difference to me um ultimately Anthony Taylor Michael Oliver whatever you’ve got to you’ve got to deal with what you’ve got to deal with haven’t you uh we’re gonna sell a lot of Youth new cash cow says Anda thank you very much for that um oh yes I wanted to talk about this as well another Italian story linking another another well it’s Inter Milan this time apparently con who came in for momany um they’ve taken other players from in the past like Ashley Young um they’re now apparently looking at xery so xery being linked with Inter Milan now I mean this is a story that just never seems to stop does it um I just think with xery there are some of our fans that just don’t think he’s very good I think he’s got a style of football that is a little bit you know I get I get why people say xery reminds them of Berbatov he ain’t Berbatov it’s an insult to Berbatov because Berbatov was Premier League proven at Spurs and United but I think what people mean is he’s got this style that looks a little bit there I say lazy but he’s not lazy you can’t be lazy as a professional footballer unless you’re walking around not doing anything it’s just his style his running style makes him look a bit languid I suppose um and I agree with that with xery obviously there’s a lot of interest in Italy because he did well at bologna very recently and there’s a lot of clubs in Italy that like him AC Milan wanted him maybe in Mandu want him maybe Juventus want him so this keeps happening but I would just ask for a little bit of uh like for me xerx is going to be here till at least the end of the season so these stories or more importantly people in our fan base saying we need to get rid of xery’s this that and the other we just need that to sort of close down a little bit because it doesn’t do us any favors to keep having these stories all the time about xery and Inter Milan or AC Milan or Juventus he could still be a success at Manchester United we’re playing with a striker and two number 10s like he sort of operates in between that as a 9 and a half but could be a 10 and could be a nine so I still think xery has a part to play at Manchester United and we we we need to sort of be a little bit patient with it I think we want we’re in a rush aren’t we so Jim rli’s probably in a rush we’re in a rush we want United to get back ASAP but there are some players that we haven’t been patient enough with I mean selling rashford selling casemiro selling Luke Shaw I get it they’ve been here for a lot long enough for you to make make your minds up but people like xery he not even been here 6 months yet I think we just need to just be a little bit aware as a community and as a fan base that xeri back to Italy is a very easy story to to sell because he hasn’t settled at man united they like him in Italy so every week it seems to be a different story but I think we need to be a little bit more look he might start tomorrow night he might score a couple of goals again so I just think we need to be a little bit patient we see the hair and think Fellaini Z in says Anda have you got a cold Mark feel better says kit I’ve got the bit I’ve got a bit of a c I woke up like feeling like this morning and uh then had a few things going on but um I’ve battled through worse I don’t get them as much as I used to Caitlyn I remember doing watch alongs in the past with loads of tissues and not tissues for how I would like to be doing a watch along although I must say I’ve never found football sexual but no um runny knows Etc don’t get them as much now uh anyway um oh just just talking about um Dutch players that might may or may or not have flopped at Manchester United jerona hey jerona hey Jona um did you see Liverpool Jona last night Donnie van debake hell I mean it’s not news I’m just saying you look at that I remember forit Romano being on the show about a year before we bought Donnie vaner bake and for some reason we spoke about Donnie vaner bake and we both went oh he’d be amazing at man united never thought he was going to come to United came to United absolute nightmare now playing V gerona watched a bit of it yesterday oh my God oh my God just really really below par again such a shame such a shame in relation to Donnie Vander bake but yeah there we go uh he was really poor I I know he gave the penalty away but anybody can do that but I just thought he was he was pretty poor at the end of the day um thank you very much for that we are back at 7 o’clock yes um spoken to about Anthony Taylor spoken to about rashford’s price Jose’s Justice Donnie Vander bake xery um yeah just going back to Leon Diego leyon three 3.1 million pounds very Advanced comes in the summer one for the future left back Paraguay what’s not to like these are the sort of deals I like I liked lar from Palace Obi Martin con uh the lad from Australia I like this as well that’s five in the space of pretty much six months I mean if 30% of these end up being first team players it’s great on top of that you’ve already got a very productive Youth System at the moment moment as well so I’m excited about this I think the only negatives I’ve seen is that people are like well he’s not ready now it’s not in January he’s W for the future it’s only 3 million quid but this effectively looks like it’s going to be amm’s first signing it’s just got all those things attached to it which which aren’t necessarily a bad thing I don’t think um hopefully we will still be doing stuff in January um but look we need to build from the top to the bottom and whilst we do need players to come in now and we do need to sell players now we also need to build an infrastructure and I think it is easier and we saw it with ten hog the players that performed best for ten hog last season well we saw the iconic picture didn’t we of gacho Mayu and Rasmus the younger players seem to adapt to ten Hog’s thinking more than the older players you look at the players that flopped and didn’t do well it was predominantly the older players so if you Amor him under a new system the players I think are going to work better are going to be the younger players and the more good talented young players that we can bring in with the right mentality the better so um yeah I think it’s interesting but I’m looking forward to the Press conf later because I want amarim to be asked a direct question about rashford sales Etc because I think that’s something we’re really looking at at the moment anyway right I need to go and get a cup of tea I’ve spoken for about 15 minutes and my nose is absolutely it’s falling down the back of my throat and um it’s that’s that’s not a nice thought for anybody uh Peter says hello Mark greetings from neple why do people think it’s gacho or his brother leaking the team lineups because gono in some sections of our fans base I call the toxic sections of our fan base is just a player to hate on what people forget is that Marcus rashford at 20 never got this Marcus rashford’s agenda toxicity started about three years ago when he was 24 no one was doing this to ganach to rashford at a 20 years of age but people seem to want to do it to a 20-y old and he’s not leaking the team news as far as I know it’s not the name or the names two names that have been going around the media know who it is the club know who it is and a lot of people who do this know who it is I don’t think anyone’s going to put it out there I’m certainly not going to put it out there I think it’s why why cause a Pyon to that player hopefully they’re going to stop doing it but um it’s not um it’s a current player who is fit and it’s not gacho uh there won’t be career mode today till it was planned but absolutely got no chance um I don’t think I could uh Muster
