hello reaction andac yeah disappointing um obviously with the outcome um yeah it was a game look went a goal down but after that I thought we took control and scored two goals obviously missed the penalty and then yeah we still had great opportunities to put it you know a third goal and kill a game off um you know we we just didn’t take that those moments and then um you they score a second which uh leaves us with a disappointing outome is that anything to do with confidence with this bunch of players is it is it something that you think might need addressing more no I don’t think so I think you in the context of where we’re at it’s just the real I think the players are given everything they’re a real tight group of players you can tell that we’re lacking some sharpness especially in the front third and you know that’s uh the fine margins of um sometimes a goal and not a goal so um but it’s not through the one to try and the players are given everything they can you are constantly having to makh shift and juggle and I saw a doggy came off and also Benton c will get a suspension now and and that means more for you to try and work out for the next match yeah it’s just a a you know the kind of period we’re in you it doesn’t seem like um just seems to be one disruption after the other so um but again I think uh all I can ask is uh the players are given everything um like I said they’re they’re trying to will them elves to to get the energy to to win us games of football it just wasn’t enough today are you sensing some frustration from the fans when you’re out there on the touch line I’m not really tuning into the fans but I would be surprised if they’re not frustrated and disappointed with the way things are going at the moment so um but yeah that’s up to me to fix want well they avoided defeat today but for ranch POA C side in the Premier League it’s only one win in their last seven and as things stand they sit 11 points off the top four they were knocking on the door of the top four this time last season and Tim you you were watching this one as you as you listen to an poog there you look at his body language as well does he does he look like a manager in terms of turning this around who’s beginning to wonder with the amount of injuries as well how he goes about doing that is he running out of ideas for you no I don’t think he’s running out of ideas because he’s he’s got a clear idea of how he wants to play um I think what he is struggling with the depth of of squad uh and he’s not being able to rest his Squad I mean I made a point during during the game and they got the two center backs missing Mickey vanen and Romero and and Vicario the goalkeeper other than that it’s it’s a full strength s what he’s got there you got IND DOI on the left back you got Pedro porro you got basuma bentor you got Johnson son salanki and koseski and you bring on teimo verer um and Madison who was sitting on the bench but what the problem is when he wants to make the changes he hasn’t got the quality to come in Off the Bench and make them changes and everyone’s having to play all of the minutes all of the time he’s trying to rest them he’s trying to juggle it up to keep that then BEC Circle doesn’t of course um and like he talks about sharpness in the final third they haven’t got a problem scoring goals we all know they can score goals it’s trying to keep the opposition out and we have to give credit to walls today because they were well organized they look a real threat especially when Kun was on the pitch he come off injured at halim um but they had a game plan and they just sat back um and they took in the end they when they when they penetrated forward they looked really dangerous but Tottenham looked dangerous as well I mean it didn’t deserve I think it was a fair result I really do I mean it’s a strange balance is it because as as things stand after two goals today Liverpool still nil nil away to West Ham in the in the 515 kickoff they’re the top scorers in the Premier League with 41 goals and yet only four teams have won lost more games than them so far this season this strange imbalance within top at the moment yes the injuries are are a big factor but in terms of how he turns days like this back into winds what’s his best option well he’s going to stick the way what he’s doing what he knows best and and it’s and he playing this way he just needs some little bit of help in the transfer market I suggest in January I’m not sure what sort of quality they can bring in or get get some players back I mean another and doggy gets injured another muscle injury today hamstring you know so something must be happening I thought in the World of Sports scientist that was all eradicated but it seems to be increasing you know I don’t know whether I don’t think they’re overtrained I think they’re undertrained players these days I’ve always made that point um I don’t know what’s going on day-to-day at the training ground but I just think to continually pick up muscle injuries there must be something they need to look at Dar Darren what do you think’s going on at your old Club in terms of this listen they’re not alone in this you know you look across the Premier League at the moment then that the amount of key players out with injuries as well but the the regularity of injuries at the moment the numbers of injuries as well is it just the number of games is is it the intensity of their training what do you put it down to well as Tim was saying there when you look at the way they play the intensity they play at clearly they’re not training at the same level as what they’re playing at because that’s where the injuries come from usually if you train at a lesser kind of tempo and then you’re expected to go out on a Saturday and play at this kind of an ball pace which is 100 miles hour you’re going to break down all the time but also as well that the recovery situation because the fact that they have players that keep getting the same injury that would be a concern as well because vanen we know how quick he is he he changed that whole D Dynamic of the back line but you can’t keep having the same haming over and over and over again at some point someone’s got to go do you know what he may be ready now but let’s give it another two weeks another three weeks just to make sure but well he brought him back too early last time didn’t he that’s what must keep happening because when you keep bringing the same player back and he keeps having not different injuries the same injuries that would tell me would you know what hold in a second here are we sure that he’s ready to go so the med of the department surely Andress out what is going on here because I do feel for him in that regard that he’s getting so many injuries but they’ve got to look at that because you you you can’t keep having the same players keep breaking down with the same injuries what what what’s possible for Tottenham this season as I mentioned 11 points off the top four as things stand that’s that’s a huge gap compared to what it was this time last year he’s got to do something in the cups isn’t he’s got the FA Cup to come I mean that’s Tamor worth he’s got the semi-final of The League Cup to come as well yes he doesn’t want to drift too much further away from the top four but that’s got to be the priority Now isn’t it which you know it has but when when I listen to ANP I I don’t think his priority is just winning a cup I I I genuinely think he progression is the league and trying to get closer to that that Champions League that that shows that the signs that the club moving in the right direction when he speaks about trying to end this kind of curse of Spurs winning a trophy he almost just keeps batting it away like it’s that’s not the important part it’s about progression in the league so I think if Tottenham could finish in Europe some form of Europe and yeah maybe pick up a cup then I think that’d be a good season but I I definitely think there’s a breakdown in the Dynamics between what the supporters want and what the the manager wants and either side of Liverpool at home in the first leg of The League Cup semi-final and Tamworth away in the FA Cup third round two really tough Premier League games next Newcastle at home and then Arsenal away just a quick word Tim Tim on walles because VTO pere’s come in wolves were in deep deep trouble they now pulled themselves out of the relegations and still a long way to go but play three one two uh first drop points today but gets a draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium how how has he turned wolves around as quickly as he has I know you keep mentioning Co but it’s just about him or is it oh co was always there he was always a top player um they’re a little bit more disciplined defensively um I think he it looked like they the happier you know perhaps it’s the personality thing may maybe the language with with a lot of the players Portuguese you know he’s been able to converse with them um during day-to-day training um they feel like it’s more more of a team yeah they’ve certainly done a good job but seven points in three games is magnificent with a team where were in the bottom three um you would suggest and I certainly would suggest if K get back he’s going to get us a huge ban like three five games I would I would think might would you concur it I think it’ be more than three yeah cuz he’s elbow in the back then he’s pulled his glasses off it’s it’s a A Team official but I can’t see it being three it’s going to be a huge miss a huge Miss but he come off at halim today and they still went forward strand lson come on and scored the goal it was a wonderful finish um to equalize 2-2 I think was a fair result so it’s not all doom and gloom for Tottenham and it’s certainly not doom and glim for Victor Pereira yeah it certainly isn’t he’s
