number one a lot of those players aren’t good enough to be playing for Manchester United no matter what the system is he’ll make changes over the next sort of two or three windows and probably within 18 months I think AAR will be a winner not just because I think in Midfield he just because he’s played for him before I think it’s how you fit in the likes of rashford gacho Bruno Fernandez that that’s the conundrum of those attacking positions where I can’t quite see what’s going to happen the outter center backs do have to be able to go out wide so I think the ones who are more flexible and agile are going to be the winners that was Jamie carer Gary Neville speaking on Monday Night Football about Ruben am room’s start at Manchester United what I want to do is ask you do you think they’re right about the squad I’m not going to go too deep into the analysis of the game although I actually think that carer’s analysis was pretty good I’m going to speak about the squad what do you honestly think about it let me know in the comments I think this is going to be an interesting sort of conversation and debate well I think so anyway make sure you drop a like on the video does make a big old difference now the first thing I want to say here is despite Jamie carer spitting at children this really was a good piece of analysis I won’t run through it completely in here because I’ll just probably get shut down for copyright but he’s pointing to Casmir here and explaining how amim wants him to go forward to leave that space in behind you can see Casmir looking towards amim amim gesturing him to go forward there you can see it move forward move forward he does Erikson pushes with him and Evans closes the space on Hutchinson and that is what amim wants to do with this squad the two Central midfielders who you can see on the edge of their box squeezing the pitch making it smaller the defensive line coming up to support the fact that the midfielders are pushing on I think Eric tenh har wanted this as well but the the way that we pressed made it so chaotic and easy to play through that it just didn’t work all right and in terms of United Squad overall this is what Jamie said he was asked whether the players are going to be here in a year’s time he said no a lot of these aren’t good enough to be United players no matter what the system is and he said we can probably fairly judge amim after about 18 months when he’s had two or three Windows to shape his Squad now I’ve reiterated quite a few times here on this channel that I feel this squad is better than what we are seeing however there are players that simply are not going to be fit for purpose there will always be casualties with every football club in the world world where managers change and especially when you bring in a new system with different requirements Johnny Evans has done an incredible job as far as expectations versus expectations right when he came in we didn’t expect him to play much and he ended up playing more and he was actually probably our best center back last season which isn’t really say much but Johnny Evans shake his hand and hopefully he becomes comes back to United as a coach he shouldn’t be starting for United anymore casemiro he’s passed it he can’t physically play that role which requires so much energy and ability to press from the front so in terms of the squad players like that will be leaving but as soon as you bring in the squad that amam actually has and you then try to play that system things can look different with this current Squad yoro will make there is no better Center back at this club in terms of fitting the am system playing the right center back Channel as Neville explains to play as the wide center backs in the back three kind of almost had to operate as fullbacks at times covering the channels covering those spaces yoro is going to be the best at that when he comes in he will improve United 11 Luke Shaw the truth is that Luke Shaw as that left-sided Center back would be very good remember when Martinez was injured two years ago what was it Luke Shaw deputized I think it was against City and he deputized for a while and he was very good Luke Shaw as a left-sided Center back would be the best that we currently have in the squad but will he be fit or not we don’t know Malia he can come back as well but if Shaw comes in and yoro comes in and dick stays in the middle all of a sudden that Midfield sorry that defense looks different Martinez I’ve already said look I love the bloke I question whether now you wouldn’t struggle to get Martinez to play that aggressive Center back role but I question that if Martinez got spun would he be able to get back that recovery Pace I’d question but Martinez would certainly improve on Johnny Evans that goes without saying and I I think you’ve got to speak about the defense first before you speak about the Midfield say you sorted the Midfield and Ugarte comes in and Mayu comes in you still have the issues of Evans dropping too deep of the defense dropping too deep in the spaces being in behind the midfielders and that’s what that that was the collective that never existed under Eric tenh har the space between the lines between the defensive Midfield and between the Midfield and attack those were the same problems that we saw here against ipswitch and they will disappear over time and also when you start getting your players who fit the system and I think this squad is a lot better than we saw against zp Switch and I think the sort of frustrative photos of amim on the sidelines he was asking them to do it they just weren’t physically capable and that’s exactly what I ran through in the live show this morning and also to cover what Gary Neville ran through when he spoke about familiar red flags and this is what he said they don’t want crism to talk about the players but you watch them every day you look at IP switch who are very near the bottom of the table they look more Oran they look like they’ve got more appetite for the game more enthusiasm and that’s been a constant it has been not just on Sunday but a constant for two to three to four years and there were similar patterns that we saw against ipswitch but I think maybe I’m being too generous to the players I think I probably am a little bit but I feel once this system is embedded I think you will see an improvement from so many of these players I think there are going to be players where Improvement isn’t really possible physically there are physical limitations that I don’t desire I don’t it’s you know know we have Ronaldo back and Ronaldo had that mindset that he was still the best player in the world but the legs were just a couple of years behind ahead of him and he couldn’t deal with that and that created frustration I imagine the same thing’s going to be happening with casemiro in a system where unfortunately for him the amim system is built around movement dynamism squeezing this the pitch to make it smaller out of possession it’s not about sitting deep in a hey sometimes you’ll sit deep in a back five uh like when sporting played City and hitting on the counter yeah sometimes that was Su but overall that system is built around energy which is the opposite of how this squad is operated and that’s why we saw what we saw against ipswitch but as far as I agree with Jamie carrier that there are some players in this Manchester United Squad who just aren’t good enough I wouldn’t go as far as to suggest and I’ve said this quite a few times now I don’t think that this squad is in need of a huge overhaul I would pick out the left backers the the left back and Central Midfield as the two areas I would think that an overhaul is needed like one or two players out and one or two players in I would say everywhere else kind of requires tweaking and improvements and I think that’s where Ruben Amry is going to make a big difference and it’s all about that buying you know it’s all about the buying if the players truly believe in it and they accept it then things will start to happen and if you don’t then you will see situations like this where Casmir is looking behind him instead of looking ahead where his manager wants him to go forward instead of going backwards and United are going to be stuck between this sort of like this identity I don’t know what way to describe it but learning is going to take time what do you think about the squad though overall what do you think about we shouldn’t really talk too much about the system because we know what the system is I thought carrier analyze it pretty well but what is your position on this squad are they good are they bad and who would you get rid of let me know in the
