Pack 12 my favorite conference has now gone by the wayside these wild cats oh come on these wild cats are reeling UCLA is looking good they’re ranked right now I am very uh intrigued subie you are an Arizona fan I’m very intrigued to hear what your thoughts are on these wild cats well right now now guy I’m a big believer in if you haven’t shown me anything why should I believe in you I get college basketball is most unpredictable sport ever so it’s at some point like that’s why we have upsets in the tournament but really to start this season Arizona hasn’t beaten a power team like I I want you guys to pause this video and really let that marinate Arizona here as we sit in approaching mid December has yet to beat a power basketball team lost to West Virginia they’ve lost to Oklahoma they’ve lost to Wisconsin they’ obviously lost to Duke now those are pretty quality opponents I think three of those guys are in the top 25 West Virginia I feel bad they just lost Tucker debr but all this to say guy until you show me you can actually do it why should I believe in you and they don’t necessarily look all that great they have to scrap claw and fight to even Force West Virginia to go to overtime Arizona’s offense has just looked so discombobulated against quality opponent on save for the Wisconsin game but against to do great Elite defense didn’t look good Oklahoma didn’t look good West Virginia just didn’t look good and now guy you’re going up against one of the best defensive teams in the entire country UCLA was hot ass last year but what I can tell you and what everyone should know about MC Cronin is that he is going to have his boys defending no matter what the year no matter what sideline he is patrolling so we’re going to dive further into it I want to get your thoughts but really my initial takeaway guy as I as I sit my lovely eggnog here uh because I am a huge eggnog guy it’s the only thing that’s gonna help me wash it down uh Arizona I’m just very very fearful about their offense particularly in this basketball game yeah look Arizona has not played offense well against good defense I’m not going to call this Wisconsin team good at all I refuse to do that that’s I no no thank you um this UCLA team can I just say on paper in the Big 10 this is the most talented roster this is the best roster in the Big 10 I still think that they’re going to win the Big 10 I mean they’re two and 0 so there’s no reason for them not to people sort of fell off of the UCLA bandwagon after they lost to a really good New Mexico team I don’t think that that L I think any team in the country could lose to New Mexico in the right situation um I was told going into this year that oh we might see UCLA play fast and spread the floor and MC cronin’s never gonna do that let’s be real mck Cronin is gonna wear you down he’s gonna press he’s gonna play Slowly he’s gonna have his big guys dunking getting layups they’re not really going to get out and run but they’re going to wear you down and win every single basketball game and that’s what I think makes him such an effective coach is because that type of strategy he’s able to win with whoever is on his roster I mean even last year and his worst UCLA team ever they still won like 20 games uh I I think that it’ll be really interesting for me at least to to see the the cat and mouse between how Jaden Bradley and Caleb love in that back court are ble to handle the Press cuz I do think that Love’s shooting ability is going to be a nice way for them to sort of break away from the tight defense because if you can get threes up and in then you force them to start guarding you closely and open up more spots for Cutters and different things like that and I really think that this game will go as Caleb love goes and I mean my thoughts on Caleb love have been very public love him very much uh I think he is a great basketball player I think he’ll be a first team All-American this year I think he’ll get National play of the Year consideration I am very in on Caleb love and I know we haven’t I’m not even that in on Caleb love I know we haven’t seen that yet but he is my favorite player of all time I love this man and you might be Love Drunk what you might be Love Drunk a little bit but he’s very good at basketball and I I can’t wait to see him succeed in the NBA next year um I I just can’t you can’t tell me that he isn’t a good basketball player I will not listen to you I will I will close my ears you can give me all of the scientific numbers anything that you want he is the best basketball player on the planet maybe ever I so I’ll push back on that and I like Caleb love a lot the Caleb love bashing I think has always gone too far this is still a guy with a conference player of the year on his he’s better than RJ Davis you can’t tell me that I’m sorry look at the well I don’t know the heels were pretty good last year and they went further but that’s that’s fine that’s up for discussion RJ Davis certainly doesn’t get the same amount of flak that Caleb love does and Caleb love hit one of the greatest shots in Carolina history he’s played in a national title game he’s a conference player of the year but uh he he hasn’t played all that well against stiff competition this season like I’m not selling on Caleb but you mentioned the three ball Arizona’s not shooting the three very well at all guy and or excuse me UCLA did a wonderful job against Oregon’s guards in their last win sure they needed a kind of a prayer to end up winning that basketball game but it’s really difficult to be a Dana Alman team anywhere uh let alone in Eugene and that’s exactly what UCLA did it’s because they clamped orgon are I’m sorry Oregon I know you keep saying that but like I it’s an impressive win nonetheless I think um but I think UCLA they’re going to frustrate Arizona’s guards again in this game uh and this is essentially a pseudo Road game uh in in Phoenix I believe but the three ball has just let me tell you something guy in all my years watching Arizona I have I feel like I haven’t seen them struggle this mightily early this season like I’ve seen games here and there where they’re just not a good three like they don’t have it from the three-point Arc it it’s looking ugly like game after game against Real opponents and that’s the other thing that I want to mention people are going to people have been touting Arizona’s offensive rebounding ability and their rebounding ability in general let me tell you something folks that is a result of playing the likes of Old Dominion kishis who the last time I checked was still ofer on the season I don’t know if they have a win yet uh and then they just played Southern Utah right so like I think they just outrebound the hell out of the bad teams but when they’re faced up against quality opponents they get bullied down low and that’s what’s been happening this season can they flip the script against UCLA maybe but I’m here to tell you guys to not be enamored with this Mirage of Arizona’s rebounding ability because it’s being artificially inflated by playing these bad teams I have more confidence in them being able to find their three-point stroke than I do uh the like continuing this this statistically their their rebounding prowess but I I think to Circle this whole Point home UCLA I think is going to give Arizona’s guards fits yeah I I really agree I mean I again I rate this team UCLA this UCLA team very highly I think that they’re the best team in the Big 10 I actually am sort of keeping my eye on Tyler Bido I think that there’s a chance he can be an all big 10 first team guy uh I I admit I picked the wrong big man before the year I said William Kyle was going to be the sneaky all big ton guy uh it’s B AO but he was great at Oregon State last year Jordan Pope got all the credit B AO was a a really good player for Oregon state that was a great find by Mick Cronin now mentioning another transfer from an OSU school that wears black and orang Eric Daly from Oklahoma State he had a tremendous game against Oregon and he’s been an exactor a little bit here for UCLA they got veteran guys and and Andrews and Sebastian Mack as well um those guys being called Veterans makes me feel weird well just considering like MC and I feel like just shipped everyone out for the most part for good reason yeah no absolutely and and look I I I’m a players guy but if mck cronin’s calling you s like I didn’t like when mck Cronin was saying oh we don’t have enough money like don’t don’t cry poor on me there I think that was true though last year I don’t care man like that I I do not I do not care I guess get it’s his job I’m I’m veering from the point um you he’s on a hot streak right now like I said Arizona has yet to show me that they can beat a power team I’m not even talking quality team which UCLA I believe is a uh a quality team I have a sneaky feeling you want to talk about a veteran I have a sneaky feeling this is going to be a Lazar stefanovich game from the off on the offensive end uh for UCLA I think they’re G to lock up Arizona’s guards for the most part and Arizona here’s the other thing game within the game they don’t play well from behind Guy like if you get out to a seven eight point lead in the first half and they have to crawl back they might tie the game late but they’re not going to finish I don’t I don’t trust Arizona enough to do that um so I’m going to go with the Bruins here unfortunately it makes me sad my wife’s a UCLA fan this is gonna suck on Saturday uh but I’m gonna go with Bruins 79 to 74 I’m also gonna take UCLA I don’t think that you can deny the struggles that Arizona has been having we obviously haven’t this is another one of those weird weird games that it’s in the hometown of the college but isn’t on the college campus the return game next year is at Inuit dome which is the Clippers new uh Arena here in La I live in LA it’s not so I do I do want to say it’s in Phoenix which is like an hour and a half north of Tucson it’s in the home state okay the to be fair with LA traffic Englewood is about that far from Westwood so uh but I’m I’m gonna take the Bruins in this one as well I don’t think that you can talk about Arizona at this point as anything more than a bubble team is that lunardi lunard had them first four out I like I tough to argue again they haven’t beaten a power team the only saving grace Guy this is my last Point only saving grace this has nothing to do with the game Tommy Lloyd is kind of MC cronin’s daddy right so kind of owns him can I just say the one UCLA Arizona game I’ve ever been to UCLA won like 8779 two years ago so uh I’m gonna go based off of what I have seen before I’m not gonna say it’s 8779 I’m gonna say it’s 7769 just those scores minus 10 because there’s no shot either of these teams are putting up 87 points in this game so from subie theater and college
