should beat Oakland by 50 like I I Oakland I know Oakland’s coming off the Diamond Head classic where they won some funky games but Oakland is for lack of a better term a bad basketball team um and you know I I just think this is one that at home for Arkansas they should be able to run away with it um I I know that Oakland’s been hitting more threes as of late they had goggles Christie they had DK DQ Cole hitting more threes and those guys love hitting threes against John Calipari but I just think that you know in at Arkansas on the road I don’t know if I I expect those shots to fall um I think it’s one that Arkansas should win fairly EAS easily they are overmatching them at every position on the court they have the better Coach um I think it should be they’re at home I there’s a lot of things are just poting their direction to win this one by a fair margin was he the better Coach when they lost to Oakland in the tournament though like you said that was conviction yes and it was just fluky Jack oy hit everything yeah okay all right I’m mostly aligned with you I let me just say this briefly I can’t believe this game is on the schedule and I I’m assuming it was probably on Arkansas schedule before Cal took the job but if I took the job if I’m John Cal Perry the very first thing I would do is get this game canceled guys I can’t believe this is being played just think about like the timing of this for both sides honestly like campy was just in Hawaii at the Diamond Head classic where the two games they lost they went uh one and two they beat lyola they lose two games in over time to Oregon State and Hawaii they were underdogs in both those games they LED with like five minutes left in both those games there a world where Oakland goes 3 and0 wins The Diamond Head classic and instead they come home have to sail or fly 11 hours in the air however long sail hopefully they’re sail Oakland’s sailing back they’re back in Michigan they probably went home did Christmas for like two days and now it’s all let’s go to fville before Horizon League Play begins crazy I just wouldn’t want to do that I can’t believe that Oakland wants to play this game at all uh on the flip side the last thing I would want as an SEC team that has won five straight games before I gotta go to Tennessee next weekend is the Greg campy Zone Ah that’s that’s that’s very ah is there a great is the Greg Campion Zone actually real it is real because it’s a total gimmick but it’s really confusing because every the principles of that zone are things that go against basketball logic completely it’s just a confusing thing for like a guy like Boogie fln who’s never played a defense like this oh wait I didn’t even think about this we saw what Arkansas did against the Zone earlier this year they act like they’ve never seen it before against who uh who played it against I I think Baylor zoned him really yeah in the second half oh yeah you’re right remember that yeah you’re right they were rattled they were in hell like shot selection was terrible everything was bad about it DJ Wagner when he played the Oakland Zone last year 17 minutes 0 for five from the floor zero points three assists not the see not the saying DJ Wagner though Reed Shepard when he saw the Oakland Zone last year three points one for five from the floor two turnovers Oakland’s going to cover aren’t they rob Dillingham when he saw the Oakland Zone last year two for nine from the floor yeah they’re gonna cover aren’t they I don’t know I’m just it’s a scary thing for freshman to play um only flip I have that should reassure people here is um so last year what made Oakland dangerous that was two things Trey Townsen was a true Superstar fry Townsen was he’s at Arizona now starting he’s a great player and he was a mismatch problem where they weren’t just Jack gki like in that tournament when Goki got all the headlines but it was really Townsen who was the best player and then they would sprinkle in gok’s craziness around it but you got to have both when you don’t have both it doesn’t work and this Oakland team does not have both like when they try to go inside they’re throwing it to guys that just can’t can’t make plays they’re they’re playing through this guy Allan Muka who I watched at the Diamond Head he’s just not not a good player he’s not a good free throw shooter he can’t score from the post he’s a 66 250 pound Center um to me that’s a recipe for disaster against Arkansas’s length inside Jonas Adu all those Brazil so it really will come down to like is the new Goki going to do the new Goki thing now not this isn’t talked about enough because I saw people doing like Malcolm Christie’s got a lot of Jack Uli in guess what if you’re doing that and acting like these are two like special players you haven’t watched the Greg campy system for 30 years because Jack gki had a lot of Max Hooper in him Max Hooper had a lot of Travis Bader in him Travis like they always have one guy the Greg campy offense is like running one player off screens telling him to shoot 20 fadeaway threes in a game and just because one player’s playing that role doesn’t make him like Jack Goki this kid Malcolm Christie he played in uh Canada last year and he’s shooting 33% from three this season and everybody’s comparing him to Goki because at Diamond Head by the way he went seven for 22 from three against Hawaii he shot 22 threes in game and missed over 66% of them like he’s not gokki at all he’s not anywhere near as good as Jack gki is so uh he’s had a couple streaky is games like six for 15 against lyola five for2 against Cleveland State clearly he is capable but to me if he wants to shoot 15 threes in a game you live with that he’s not as high level of a shooter as goie was and I think that’s what you’ll see against Arkansas yeah that [ __ ] ain’t going in B Walton I’m sorry you don’t think so no I’m chrisy is 17 for 49 from three in his last three games 17 for 40 49 they covered all three games at Diamond Head last week they have covered for seven of their last 11 games so they are somewhat undervalued team uh including the covers against Illinois and Kansas on the road they kept those games within 20 lost to Michigan State by 19 ah um I can’t believe this game’s on the schedule I’m gonna take the points with Oakland oh wow okay that that’s a new Greg move isn’t it I think it’s a comfortable Arkansas win but like I the last thing you would want to see if your John caliper is Greg campy right before you got to go to Tennessee dude that’s H that’s very true that’s very true it’s insane it’s insane I just uh I expect a look ahead spot a little holiday rust from both sides and uh yeah to me that probably affects the better team more than it affects
