[Music] the headlines tomorrow will read no doubt um 100% record six wins and six games so I’m guessing with the result are you pleased overall with the performance no no not at all well yeah I was happy with the result let that be clear but the performance was uh was not of our standards I would say you have to give credits to uh to Jona as well they’ve made it really difficult for every team that has played here in the Champions League for the exception when they played PSV and and they uh they had a difficult game but for the rest they’ve always been in the game and today they were definitely part of the game as well they had numerous good chances and we had to thank Allison that we kept the clean sheet what does it say about the conversation that we had pregame about the re-inclusion of Allison in that team and show him what his quality is once again between the sticks yeah maybe his teammates wanted to make sure if he was really fit uh to give him a lot of work no it’s of course not the idea but um yeah he showed today and I I don’t think anybody needed him to show it today because everybody knows he’s the best goalkeeper in the world but he showed today that he that he is that he definitely is this because he was so important for us with so many saves and just finally the building blocks that you spoke about the standards in terms of not reaching it today but still getting the result is that maybe show a sign of maybe Champions and what they can do in these type of competitions not too sure not too sure I agree that um games that you don’t play that well you have to win it but you cannot concede so many chances we con seeed so our standards have to go up if we want to achieve something in this competition because um although they have a very good game idea very good idea about football there will be teams that are even better than this and if you come up with this intensity we had today uh on another day you get two or three goals you can see two or three goals and then you’re not able to fix this in your home game it’s never easy to recover from a muscular injury but I feel like your teammates wanted to give you an opportunity to showcase why you are one of the best goalkeepers in the world again um just tell me what it felt like to be back in obviously to get the win as well today it’s great to be back amazing feeling it was a long way for me uh this time was an injury after a a small injury than a big one nine weeks I think I was away but working really hard every day in the gym when you are injured you work even more than when you are fit and playing you just play and try try to be to recover as much as you can but when you are injured you have no excuses you have to to prepare you have to stop for a while then prepare work hard it’s like doing a preseason again in the middle of the season but I’m so glad to be back I’m really thankful for the fysal mainly neobes the doctors um my personal physio my personal fitness coach all those guys who worked together with me this time I have to say a big thank you for them to make me fit to be back because was necessary today we didn’t play so so well as we were used to but I’m happy that we have the clean sheet in three points the manager spoke about the standard not being what he expected but obviously you spoke about the three points there so what was missing just in the intensity side of it I think it’s hard to say intensity because at the end if you will see the numbers we run a lot but in my opinion we run wrong in the wrong way uh we had to be smarter the way we press them uh they have so much quality of course intensity is a big part the intensity you put in the Press makes a big difference but the players have to cover more the the spaces uh play marking not only one player man V man we we should Mark more in between in the second half I think at the last 30 minutes we started to press better and then we get chances every time we press we did a good press we get the ball or they play they play Out to the Ball and we have the possession again and uh that was the plan but didn’t work out so well because of the quality as well and we have to to keep working hard U adjust the mistakes we made and just look to the next opponent that will be a really tough one and looking at the depth of your squad I think about Harvey returning as well Cody’s obviously getting himself back into fitness yourself returning what does it say about so much quality in so many different places and you guys wanting to compete on every front as well yeah if a team wants to to fight for the titles for every trophies you need to have depth uh I think we we have quality enough to do that uh but depends on the on the way we are approaching the games the players that our feet needs to be 100% focus on doing the best on the pitch as we can now uh it’s coming the most difficult time of of of the season the the next three months they will be uh game after game weekending the in the middle of the week games as well Saturday Wednesday Sunday Tuesday so many games but this is what this is what we like to do and everybody needs to be ready and fit to to to be as good as possible for the team when the when the boss uh want to pitch six wins from six congratulations d a perfect run of victory in this champions league for you yeah of course yeah sex runs out of sex you know we can’t ask for much better than that it’s not easy to do or you know there would be more teams doing it um so yeah our performances have have been good we’ve we’ve won games and um but you know we’ve played a lot better than tonight that’s for sure we weren’t at our highest level tonight but at this point it’s about winning the games and and securing qualification and I think I think we’ve done that with so many control on your game never panic yeah how you can explain that yeah look I think we had to be a be bit more in control I think sometimes in the first half especially it was a bit of a basketball match kind of back and forward and and that’s what they wanted and you know we left ourselves too open gave our goalkeeper too much to do which which isn’t like us so you know pressing and things like that was maybe a wee bit off but then when we were on the ball we had a bit of control we were cre chances we could have scored a couple but um you know like you says we got a clean sheet we won the game we can play a lot better than we did but um you know three points is crucial especially away from home in the in the Champions League and you man of the match is it the first time on Champions League or not no I’ve had one before i’ had one before I think a couple of years ago but um but yeah obviously look delighted to get it obviously it’s about the team but it’s always nice to to get that recognition last question about Mohammed Salah his scorer again is uh in very very great shape yeah scoring goals um you know I think he’s played better than he did tonight I think you know most of us have but you know when when we need him the most he he steps up and you know he’s so good from the penalty spot and you know we never doubt him when we get the penalties and and luckily put it away and then um it was just about seeing out the game then and luckily we limited them to Chances and yeah like you say he’s a match winner again your feeling um after this uh this game a frustr frustrating game I see for you yeah disappointed not to get at least more chances to uh be closer uh throughout the match and especially at the end of the match um we managed the game the way we thought we had to and trying to stop them from running as as they are probably the best team at doing that and unfortunately an action that was um very soft put them ahead and and we couldn’t create enough chances to equalize the game and and put more pressure on them towards the end and what’s made the difference because you have many opportunity in this game uh against these teams you have to be very good both boxes and and I think they were probably better than us at defending crosses and and creating the the end product and we were in so it’s something we have to learn it happened again also uh last game against Madrid and in and that’s a game changer uh in the end putting the ball in the back of the net or not makes makes a huge difference and and we couldn’t get it right today and with three points uh are you still uh upful for CIF fing as long as we we’re alive we’ll fight for it and and that’s the way we are we also as a team and as a club have to keep growing have to be very ambitious and and that’s the way we are so we will keep fighting until the end and we won’t of course give up [Music]
