I’ll keep saying it a 100 more times the first 15 minutes of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half are the most important parts of a game especially in Europe for me the manager team talk is ringing in your rear Arsenal have heavily rotated giorgino’s taken out the team Marino’s taken out the team um and trossard I think it was Declan rice Martinelli and odard no Declan rice Martinelli and might have been parte come back in seven minutes in Arsenal go one n up Martinelli with a goal I’ve heavily criticized this guy and a lot of the transfer stories are always linking Arsenal predominantly to a left-sided Winger you know Martin Elli has had that really good season an Arsenal shirt where he scored 15 goals Leandra trossard those two probably combined for around 20 goals between them in the league or maybe your comps 20 or goals and I have felt they they need a more prolific Winger but what do I know because trossard and Martin L tonight were both on the score sheet and it was a little bit of a I want to say a little bit of a pressure performance tonight because arsenal were five away Champions League games without a win right they had to go out there and win they lost to Bayern Munich last year they lost to PSV last year and I think they lost to Rens they lost to Inter Milan away and they drew to Atlanta so there’s a lot of pressure on them they go one the up inside 7even minutes from Gabrielle Martinelli um and that immediately took the pressure off of Arsenal Timo of a ball in Martinelli puts it in the back of the net and you’re thinking that’s a really strong strong start from Arsenal um and I thought the way they managed the game in the first half and the second half like don’t get me wrong sportting had a lot of shots I think they had around 20 but I never really thought arsenal were out of control if that makes sense I thought they were in a really good position I felt the arz had some some some good changes in the game which led to more goals which we’ll get on to they go one n up and it’s like okay what have you got sporting and then they go two and Mako Saka htz is becoming a relationship that is starting to deliver goals now and HZ another goal Saga another assist you know the German kind of rounds off a lovely bit of move odard absolutely balling out gliding along the pitch um and I think it’s his second goal in the Champions League this season and I think that’s his seventh or eighth goal this season Kai HTS uh and it’s a brilliant brilliantly worked goal and Arsenal deserved a two lead and I don’t think sporting in that first half were ever really a threat um and then the the third goal you know kind of Arsenal what they’re brilliant at Gabriel magalas has got around 20 goals in his career um at Arsenal I think it’s 22 now and it’s a really really strong header um and they go fre n up away to Sporting Lisbon the same Sporting Lisbon that absolutely dismantled Manchester City in that second half 3n up at halim I’m like wow okay that that’s a really strong performance I was kind of flicking between each game um ESPN uh in I think it’s ESPN America had kind of both the games on but um I think it was Spanish commentary so I was kind of flipping in between to try and keep an eye on both games and when I saw Arsenal a three up I was like right that is absolute game over fair play to sporting they showed a bit of fight they showed a bit of character a bit of determination they bounced back um not the best defending from C Fury Ino gets one back he’s actually a good player I think he’s heavily linked to Liverpool man united um and they kind of got a foothold back in the game um you know come from a corner in a bit of an unorthodox fashion um CA Fury just gets outled um at the near post and they got you know it is what it is um and then when I talk about game management now I have seen this firstand with Tottenham so many times where we have been two or three new up we can see an early goal in the second it’s already happened this season actually away we lost 3-2 we were 2-1 up sorry two new up at halim we conceded an early goal from Danny wber and it’s all about how you manage that game out the mentality of the players the mentality of the club Mikel arteta’s kind of coaching methods obviously helped with that because they are a lot stronger at managing games out now but they don’t just manage the game out they go and score two more goals if that’s Tottenham we considered an early goal we 3-1 up against sport Lisbon I think every football fan and Tottenham fan in the back of their mind is thinking spursy you boys are going to bottle it but Arsenal don’t they get a penalty not sure how it wasn’t a second yellow card um and of course Bayo Saka steps up and it’s a really really good penalty and they are 4-1 up around 65 minutes payo Saka we need to start having serious conversations about this guy I think he is a top three Winger in the world now the only two Wingers I think are above are venicius Jr and mamed Salah and the only player in the Premier League this season I think that’s got more or sorry more goal contributions it might be earling Harland and Salah are the only two players in England that have got more gold contributions than sacka which you are among Elite company and I think you know I think Bayo Saka is really starting to put even more doubs to the side because the guy is absolutely well class there’s no ifs no buts no mes now he is a top top talent um and goes out there slots the penalty away and Arsenal are 41 up they’re in absolute Cruise Char an absolute Dreamland um and then Mika makes a number of changes Martinelli goes off tra comes on and it’s that change that goes out there and gets Arsenal another goal so you know good good in-game management from Mikel artetta they go um 4-1 up um sorry 51 up from Leandro trossard weri come on he got like a 15-minute Cameo um and you can’t give um you know Arsenal that much space I think Mar Ino had a shot and I think um it kind of went into trad’s path I believe and they’re 5-1 up and you know it puts Arsenal in the top eight of the Champions League the only other English side are up there are Liverpool Manchester City are in absolute capitulation right now they are in 15th uh they are only one point below um I think one point above Celtic at the moment or there might even be level on points with Celtic Arsenal are in the top seven and I said on early my early video that I only feel the only team right now that can stop um Arsenal sorry the only team I feel can stop Liverpool is Arsenal I think Manchester City are an absolute like we have never seen this from from Manchester City they are in absolute capitulation they are struggling they look a shadow um of the side we have seen this is a side that’s W four Premier League titles on Arsenal now it kind of feels like a little bit from when they had that time back from Dubai when they went out out there and and scored um so many goals they batted Sheffield United they batted West Ham they scored goals against Fulham um I think they beat um spurs in that run of games uh 3-0 they they were on an absolute Relentless run and it kind of feels like that right now with Arsenal um where they are in the league they’re currently nine points off Liverpool but of course Liverpool do play Manchester City this weekend if that ends a draw and you look at Arsenal’s next five games they have got West Ham they have got uh um Fulham these are the two games I do what think Arsenal have to 100% get three points a draw is not good enough now youve got to be Practically Perfect if you want to stop this Liverpool side throughout the remainder of the season and let’s not forget Fulham did get a draw at the Emirates and beat Arsenal at Craven Cottage West H did beat Arsenal twice last year so these are two really really important games but look they’re in absolute cruise control they’ve just scored five in the Champions League I don’t think any Arsenal fan at the moment should you know should be somewhat fuming with that they will obviously be disappointed that they are of course nine points behind Liverpool there’s a long way to go they win the next Champions League game against Monaco and they’re practically qualified through to the next round and their Champions League hasn’t been so bad you lost it Inter Milan one of the strongest Italian sides if not the strongest at the moment it was only a penalty which in the if that was in the Premier League wouldn’t have been a penalty you drew Atalanta you beat PSG you beat shakar and you beat sporting Liz um I think Arsenal fans should has still a lot of hope that they can go out there and win this league title it’s a long way to go Liverpool for me are the team to beat they have been the best team in Europe and the best team in the Premier League and I don’t think anyone can really disagree with that but look let me know your
