Carolina in the semifinal and Memphis in the championship game now go play Duke for the Blue Devils they lost the ma for TV game a week ago to Kansas the one-off game in Las Vegas bounce back won a game on the weekend all right Jeff na pick it up here this game is like an Elite 8 final four on paper type game we get it in early December for tonight at Cameron Duke the short Two and a Half Point favorite total 146 and a half anything strike you with the numbers here to open up the discussion yeah I’m getting the best team in the country as an underdog so I’m going to play it give me alurn plus two and a half I I look I’m sorry but there’s a few reasons first of all they’re the best team in the country and they’re getting points the truth is late in game situations if this game is close who does Duke go to I’ll ask Matt who would they go to Matt who would you go to because they they’re going Cooper flag Cooper flag he’s gonna he’s gonna drive in spin I’ll turn it over again probably no you’re you’re right right who do you go to I mean at this point they don’t have some money to take the game over Auburn does they have I’m just going to say the best player in this game Sorry Janai broom’s better than Cooper flag and I’m gonna go to him and I trust going to him over flag K canle is great but I love you know Auburn’s Wings Baker Mazar is the most UNH heroed player in the country he is an elite Defender um Dylan Cardwell is an elite Defender I don’t have to talk much about how great these teams are this will be a close game but I’ll gladly turn Duke into two jump Shooters I’ll take my chances with that Auburn’s great in the mid-range I think they’re the better team um we know they can win in big situations neutral court on the road whatever um give me Auburn plus two and a half again at the end of that Kansas game they called a timeout look at that the little live button appearing up in the corner the side brother na do taking Auburn live on the show this is why you got to be with us live here on the program and getting that live number uh Matt Cox to you they went to canle the guard on the game-winning attempt he didn’t get a very good look I didn’t like the play did you see the the closing play they were taking sideline out of bounds with about two seconds left he put the other four guys in the back court John Shire and they ran like pass patterns in football try to get somebody open and they really didn’t get anybody open doing that and they he threw it to somebody that got it right back to him he shot a contested 30-foot shot no good didn’t kind of like the end of that so late game situation might be of interest Matt any other thoughts including on that number did it open around here has it moved some on Auburn Duke total yeah no it opened two and a half and it just shocked how little it’s moved it’s been basically right at two and a half the whole day I think if you just imply you know if you think home courts worth three or four or two it’s probably around three points um that the market basically says these two teams are equal so if you denounce that notion as I know Jeff does and yeah I think Auburn’s a pretty good bet here again another team off Maui with a whole week off they did not play an in between game like Yukon does uh did which I think does help um and Duke played kind of a stinker against Seattle over the weekend I think sh was a little bit upset about how his team played I think that actually works in their favor um I think that sort of ignites them into a hey we’re not going to mess around obviously with auburn in town that’s not going to be an issue either way but it does give you kind of that bounceback pendulum swinging momentum into having a good effort here uh the younger freshman are going to have to play well tonight for Duke and I think at home that bodess well for them they’ve not really played a huge game uh in front of their their fans yet I think this is going to be just a classic you know sort of like what you saw with Clemson last night right the crowd kind of carries you to you know playing it better than you probably would have thought um I think that’s what happens with Duke at home with these freshmen tonight we’ll see how that front line holds up against jonai broom who’s an absolute beast on the boards that’s why Auburn’s so good this year they’re just so big and they’re old which should travel well um but I just think the spot’s too good for Duke and I believe in Duke’s sealing and talent I’m hoping there’s no late game uh late possession issues like Jeff talked about I hope that Duke just kind of extends and wins semi comfortably and Auburn kind of waves the White Flag uh late in the game but um I I did like Duke Care on the spot I’ll tell you what a wild card might be to back you a little further here Jeff na is Dylan Cardwell he played well obviously in the two games with North Carolina and Memphis in particular in the in the game against Memphis 18 three rebounds six assists they were getting to him in the low post was passing back out he may be a little bit of a wild card Factor here as the other big along with Janai broom and speaking of big the Big Man on Campus you got a lot of sentiment in the live chat I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not that loves your play they are saying Back N do na do backing Auburn here plus the two and a half this matchup coming up with Duke tonight at Cameron 9:15 on ESPN right after the Alabama North Carolina game we get the other team in the state of Alabama Auburn against another team in North Carolina Duke in this SEC ACC challenge we like [Music]
