me I’m not a ranker who necessarily looks at resume too much come Monday there is like a there’s probably about a 50% chance I still have Auburn ranked number one because I still think they’re the best team in the country um you go on the road at a good Duke team a Duke team that I think should be the national championship favorite um and you lose by six doesn’t sway me that much like this is a Duke team that if you they they should have won that Kentucky game if they’re not under hydrated for you know the fourth big game in Three Seasons or whatever it’s been uh they win that Kentucky game and I don’t know how close it is because malow watch was absolutely dominant in that game before he went out uh they the Duke team lost a close one to Kansas but Kansas is also Kansas this isn’t about Duke this is about Auburn I just think that if you put that into context going on the road against Duke in Cameron losing by two possessions I’m not I’m not really too worried now they have a home game in Neville against a Richmond team that is not good no uh I’m I’m honestly this is probably going to be one of those games that you and I both kind of turn off at halim and just let the second half be the second half and report on how dominant Auburn was yeah it is Richmond is a school that has had success throughout its history but this year is just two and four against division one opponents three of those losses have come to sub 200 competition offensively they’ve really really struggled they don’t crash the glass they don’t shoot the ball well they’re just they’re just not good and they were picked to finish in the bottom of the A10 for a reason Auburn has been on the road for around now this would be their first home game since November 18th I would say they had the trip out to Maui and then the road trip to Duke after um but this is their first time being home in quite a while there three home games this year Connor they’ve won by 51 23 and 33 according to kenpom Richmond is the worst team they’ve played or worst team they will have played this season um I think this is a good game to get Todd peder a lot of minutes getting him used to to really running the point and and having some success I think you you work out some of your bench guys maybe you try out some some special funky stuff which you I broom let him have some fun this this is the empty the bench empty the bag get some guys some confidence some roles you you hope that they’re in in February uh and and just keep things moving it’s it’s not a top 25 Kemp bom team so can we really trust a hod peder to to do anything I think that’s why I think that’s why like you you you you want him to do something you want him to be you want him to be consistent the the the the moment I actually looked at like I was like oh big game like he’s shown up in the big games and then you actually break it down by top 25 K opponents versus not it’s stuck maybe J maybe JP pagis is going in this game because that’s that they they have not had him do anything yeah I mean and this is a Richmond team like money has not had back-to-back 20 win Seasons since 2011 um he had a 23- win season last year so take that for what you will yeah but you’re right there is there is absolutely no one there’s no player on Auburn in this game that I’m looking at going they might struggle yeah yeah so not to the extent it puts them in danger of losing right quick quick preview I think I think where they could um where they could potentially struggle is like not even struggle where they could be underperforming based on what they’ve done this season is getting Second Chance opportunities but when you’re a top 10 shooting team in the country doesn’t matter right like they’re a top 100 offensive rebounding team Richmond is number two in defensive rebounding this season uh but they’re also they also just let a ton of shots in and don’t turn you over uh and offensively Richmond is atrocious so just Auburn’s gonna win this going away I don’t think we’re gonna be able to take anything really from this game I I think so too but we’ll see I I think maybe you get some of those those scored 102 against North Alabama and only gave up 69 uh I think this is going to be much closer to that Vermont score I’m going to go 97 to like 60 one thing about alurn and Bruce Pearl is that they will run it up in these games I think that’s just kind of in their nature and also the net rewards it so they’re going to do I think what they can they may put some you know guys in the bench in but they’re not letting their foot off the gas in this game I think they hit 100 I think we get like 104 to 63 like I think this touches 40 or flirts with that 40 point mark yeah I mean it’s GNA be a blowout yeah I had 37 so I think they flare with that 42 uh but if it yeah if it’s a blowout or if it’s not maybe richb do the unthinkable and we have to eat our words we shall see we’ll be back on
