hey guys welcome back to the Koolaid podcast welcome back to another match reaction Barcelona beat breast in the Champions League 3-0 Barcelona they returned to winning Sensations after some uncomfortable draws and an uncomfortable defeat against R had Barcelona bounce back and uh they get the three points and I would say it was a relatively comfortable and dominating performance uh from Barcelona I really like the overall performance and um we’re going to be talking about it we’re going to be talking about you know the players who played well uh and there are actually a couple guys I uh but guys before I let in everyone I do want to show you guys the lineup That Hans fake did opt to go for in tonight’s match against breast at home he started with inan pΓ± in go J Martin started yet again and uh J Martin he had a very Sol performance you know he played well um and you also got assist in for Daniel almost almost second goal and I want to give props to J Martin because he has received you know a lot of criticism for his recent performances and rightfully so uh when he does play well you do want to applaud him and when he does play poorly uh you do want to point it out uh in the defense you know he also had Eno Martinez PA GUI who were absolutely fantastic all night uh they were absolutely brilliant on the side Jose K and in the basically M Midfield you had bedri and marad bedri Brilliant Master Class um and genuinely when B is fake guys he is absolutely amazing he’s one of if not the best midfielder in the world when he is fit maraso also had a great game and up top you had fine Lopez who had chance after chance after chance but could not put it away honestly barcelon they should have won this game by a bigger goal margin than they actually did FY Lopez he could have genuinely scored a hattrick Danny omo he got goal which was actually Barcelona second RAF partnered up alongside him uh was a Qui night for rafo but uh he did do a job uh he did put in a good performance and Robert leowski who is the highest rated player on foot but got the the MVP award but uh leowski his overall game his touches his passes it was brilliant and he also got a brace and he reached the elusive 100 goal Mark in the UCL but sake NJ welcome to the stream Street Fighter welcome to the stream as well uh Bal Bal and to is looking sharp yes they also came on in the second half and they did put in a very very good Cameo but um it’s like okay I’ll go to you first overall thoughts on the on the match how did you feel did you like this barsal performance yeah I think it was a good performance it just that we didn’t take our chances in the first half and in the second half we did I think pedri was good I think Jed Martin had a good game for the first time I think yeah also Le leowski was good I think multiple players were they were good you know most of the players played their game with 100% cont concentration for Entre 90 minutes and that’s how we get the win you know don’t make any mistakes and stay concentrated then we can dominate any team absolutely absolutely I I I definitely agree with you I think this you know all all the games that all the games that we have lost season it is our mistake in the end yeah barcel just shooting themselves in the foot just having that lock of concentration allowing the opponents to get back into the game and I really like how Barcelona you know they managed this game because even from you know minute one you saw the intensity from Barcelona you saw them not allowing breast to have chances you saw them focused and uh it resulted in the three-nil victory uh what’s up NJ welcome um overall thoughts on the match I I did know that what’s it called you found the first half a little bit boring but did you find the second half to be boring as well second second half uh we were able to like create a lot of chances we were able to bounce back which is good but overall yeah the game was good I guess okay good um do you think it was a a much improved performance than our recent games or you say it’s just a step in the right direction what do you think oh yeah yeah it was a better performance compared to the last two performances we had and also it was a a much needed win because if we if we had tied the game this game then the momentum would have been like you know going downhill but good thing that we won so that we can bring the momentum against last B I like how you mentioned that because I completely agree I think for example there were some you know anxiety in the fan base you know after you know the way that barcon they lost against Russ right before the international break you know they come back after the international break they have a two- goal Advantage but they you know let that lead go there could have been some worries keeping into the Barcelona fan base and oh my God you know like is this going is this come on when you look at it our fanas flip flop any yeah exactly like that’s part of the nature of of of our fan base but um you know you I never had doubt in hzi flick and this was a good win you know to put any worries to bed and to to just basically get back on that winning momentum because we do need to go for La Liga hard because uh as you guys know if rager they do win their game in hand uh that fourpoint Gap that Barcelona currently have will be reduced to only one uh van Lee welcome to the stream uh he says it’s harder theight lowski is a professional Marksman knows how to finish in his sleep maybe we can squeeze out one more season he’ll you know I don’t want to talk too much about you know his like the the far future I want to look for right now in the present in this season you know um and looking at how well Robert lowski is performing how how important do you think it’s going to be for Robert ly to be firing on all cylinders Sak are you there sorry sorry can you repeat the question oh no no just like looking at how good that Robert leowski is playing uh how important do you think is for our season for these upcoming matches for Robert leowski uh to be playing well and everything I think he’s extremely important for us because you know RAF and lamin won’t score the goal that he scores and if he gets injured or something we don’t have a strong backup for him in in the first place at least we can play someone you know if lamin gets injured right now we are playing Raf in his place if rafina gets injured you know we can play Dano on the left wi but Le if leandos gets injured so we don’t have backup we don’t even have Victor Roi on the bench you have Victor but you know it’s not the same Victor but yeah I don’t think he has he’s you know that kind of a player that leandos he’s not p n you know he won’t be able to hold back center backs you know and those kind of finishing maybe he will do the passing and connect the W connect with Wingers but finishing I don’t think maybe okay okay uh what’s up 87 good to see you man good to see you in the Stream man uh big fan um you know as Valle said top of of of the Champions League scoring top of La Liga and it’s not even close that’s true Robert lowki is having an absolute amazing uh C so far man he’s absolutely firing on all cylinders and as I said he’s going to be extremely important for Barcelona if we are going to win silver where we’re going to need someone to put in the goals and right now there isn’t a better goal scorer out there than Robert lowski and it’s amazing that he’s doing it at 36 years of age and reaching a 100 goals in the Champions League is a remarkable achievement I want to give Applause for Robert leowski and I want to specifically talk about his you know his overall game because we’ve talked about before you know his ability on the ball to finish and everything everything but his distribution his passes his touches they were amazing on the night I you know there was one chance that he gave to fine Lopez you know I think it was a pass from rafino or jice kund out on the right hand side and Robert Robert lowski he has like a little flick a back heel uh to uh ferine Lopez and ferine Lopez was put in the perfect position to score but unfortunately he shoots his straight at the keeper but um you know touches like that it reminds you of the quality of Robert leowski I want to see if I can find the image um if I can see it but uh no yeahi was brilliant the backi pass yeah the backi pass the fry Lopez oh yeah I mean when you look at it like leowski like yes you know he is the he is the main star that we have but the beauty part about about this team is that we don’t really have to rely heavily on because we haveo we have grafia but but about last year then yeah it would have been different cuz because he was the only one doing everything but but but this year the the pressure the pressure that has is not that heavy anymore compared to like last year this year you know he can he can rely Ono RAF yeah sure sure sure like I mean like yeah the main the main goal is like you know Le is scoring every goal in game but that’s not how football works sometimes you know sometimes you won’t score you know that is true that is true there be times where like he will do the assist and stuff like that but the beauty part is that like we’re not pressing Le that much in more compared to last year this one he has more like he’s more free now like like he’s like able to express himself like he can link up play with us easily and now like obviously the main goal is him scoring much goals as much possible right yeah okay okay uh Jordan welcome to the stream he says I like the Press up front not allowing the opponents to put passes together and putting the ball behind The Defenders also individually everyone did well yes that’s something that hanzi flick you know ano Martinez they talked about in the press conference and they were saying that hey you know when a player is not pressing when you know there’s uh a lack of intensity from the team you notice it and in this game I thought the pressing from Barcelona was really really good uh they were focused and um you know they were able to put press under pressure and in the opening 10 minutes you had a fantastic ball from pedy uh right here a little dink over the top of the Defenders into Robert leowski who uh you know a foul is committed against him by the uh Biz breast goalkeeper and I know very quickly guys is this a penalty in your guys opinion come on bro come question come on now yeah like like come on BR you’re taking a bait now bro taking a bait yeah right here Robert lowki he takes control of the ball it’s in his you know in his possession and the keeper just you know basically knocks him in the back clear uh cut penalty and Robert lowki puts it away but uh throughout the match throughout the first half barcon they had chances they had this chance from Ferman Lopez who if he was able you know to angle it right there to the leftand corner it would have been two-nil in the opening 20 minutes then you have this chance uh from raia which uh goes close to to the top right it goes just a little bit wide um and just Barcelona they were knocking in that first half but in the second in the 65th minute uh in the match Barcelona they do get a second with a Danny omo goal brilliant Magic from Danny omo and J Martin assist you know and um you know Danny omo it was his first goal in the UCL for Barcelona and his first start as well you know and I do want to give props uh but guys I want to ask you guys first second and then NJ but uh what you get what you make of that goal um you know do you give more praise to Daniel Mo or you give praise to more to J Martin for for the assist I think I think that goal was you know similar to the goal that you know almost scored in the Euros also you know he beat the player who was close to his body and then finished I think in the Box I think he might be our second best finisher after Lewandowski because in in around the Box you know he’s shooting power you know Precision he’s very good at it I and also prop Jed Martin you know not only the assist but entire game you know he had some ball losses here and there but that is normal to normal for any player you know in these kind of matches and other than that he played very well you know defensively and going forward to you know he’s not not as good as Bal but I think he’s I think I can see why you know Hans flick was you know sticking to you know playing playing him you know I think yeah he played he plays like a very balanced game you know not that he’s like a seven out of 10 at his best yeah um you know I yeah I do want to give credit to J because as I said before you know we’ve been critical of him his performances at time haven’t been great he’s been you know sometimes the scapegoat of the team uh for some of our our poor performances but he did have a much improved performance uh you know today against bre but NJ I want to know if you shared like the the similar opinion BR I told you about Daniel more bro this guy was a great signing people were I’m telling telling you like this guy bro yes he’s injury Pro you know that but but but but uh his profile is very rare to find nowadays like he he makes everybody better that he makes it easy for pedri makes it easy for leandos and yamal and ninia like like he’s so good at at tight space as well like when you look at when you look at how he plays he doesn’t rush anything at all it looks so natural when when he plays like like like he’s not forcing anything he again when when he scores goals it’s all bangers not not average goals it’s all absolutely absolutely it’s always highlights like really good highlights when he scores that was a missing thing that we we were missing in Barcelona for years after ret TI left also you know we I don’t think we we question the quality of the player of Dani Mo you know we didn’t question his quality it’s just that you know he doesn’t seem to keep fit you know it was like now look at this it is like his first start and we you know already played like three to four champ League games I mean that was given before like like everybody knew that this guy was injur but but people knew that when he plays he’s his world class like everybody knew this outside Barcelona like like like even even fans outside Barcelona like even people who doesn’t like Barcelona didn’t know that was a great signing for us it just yeah the problem was the injury but yeah if you’re going to focus on on the negative then then they they you’re not gonna you know be thankful the player you’re GNA start hitting the player for no reason okay okay uh venley says uh we all know Lea can’t repeat this next year would you prioritize a for that helps the Press like davidia or forward to help with output like Le Salah or Le I think a combination of both for example I think maybe bringing uh you know Jonathan David with potentially a Salah or Leo I think that’d be a right move you know he can he can rep he can he can rep his performance If he if you give him like the right players to throw AB absolutely and and if he stays in top physical condition abs no he W his wife his wife is a physical physical trainer as well too uhhuh uh would the panel feel comfortable with Gabi in the starting 11 or Mar Cado is Untouchable currently um it doesn’t matter Untouchable for me at least for now I I I completely agree I think Maro alongside p in the base been absolutely perfect I would not touch out for anyone at the moment it’s a long season anyway so you know might as well I’m not saying that that you should bench C for for good I’m just saying like you know there be times where like you have to to like rotate and for example this weekend against lasama it’s most likely going to be a combination of pedri and Gabi at the base of the Midfield because maras he has a red card he will not he he’s been suspended that he will not be playing against Las palas this weekend and um you know bedri uh who we you know we have to talk about guys because P you know he was doing fantastic moves like this right now he he had this brilliant nutmeg in the air and his performance overall guys when you look at his as his game man performance world class 112 touches 12 out of 16 long balls completed 90% packing passing accuracy four out of four dribbles completed 12 out of 14 ground du won and those stats don’t even do him Justice you know I think you know bedy you know when you look at him you don’t talk about stats you look at the magic I don’t do stat at all I watch the it yeah you know when when you talk about pedri man oh the guy is absolutely amazing and uh s is he the best midfielder right now in the world what do you think yeah I think I think at he top three I think at least top three okay which of the two did you have I’m just I’m not putting him you know as a number one just I just want to see him fit for a season at least okay okay that’s the only reason it is not like it is not you know not his performances or not his quality I know that he’s a tire one you know tier one midfielder I’m just not putting him number one because I just want to see him for a fit you know see him fit for entire season that’s the only reason okay and which two midfielders do you place alongside him you know in that top three right now are you asking me for right now yeah right now like just based on form based on the season I think but and wild yes yo imagine bar in this team my God he would C him and would do lot of magic oh my God yo is a quality player yeah with we would we would have like 85% position in the match we were link with him before think think good it’s good he play for inter because he balance out the football world we be we would be too op if had but hey what happened NJ yeah and I say m there oh mus a good show uh B to the Press don’t rush lamine the worst thing is to relapse I am telling you from experience absolutely and that’s why Barcelona you know they’re being so cautious with him and looking at some of the words from pedri after the match he says leowski in 100 goals it’s a pleasure to have him here I’m very happy for him he continues to help us and there’s little more to say he’s one of the best forwards in history there are many years ahead but I’ve always said that this is a club where I want to stay forever I don’t know anything about the meeting earlier today and that’s in regards to you know some were saying that there was a meeting between you know p and barcelon in order to talk about the contract renewal but um you know pedri he also talks about his Sensations he says he’s very happy before the match we talked about wanting to win and get back to our level I feel more comfortable in a deeper position sometimes we rush things we need to have more patience and I try to help with that and uh B at the age of 22 man he’s you know up there with the best midfielders in the world and uh you know on his day and I I don’t think and when he’s able to fit there aren’t any midfielders who are much better than him uh vley says GUI battle score mess up his baby face funny thing is I mean that’s true if we can’t bring in anyone but a Winger I would like to see Rafa in the false nine all right all right interesting uh guys can we squeeze the last palas match without lamine oh way to mayora and Away to to uh VTO or tricky games must win with the circumstances would you guys play linum M for get behind they’re positioning also you know to be fair to kubar we all love forward players you know there is a bias about all forward players you know because of their on the ball ability but if you look at kubar see his on the ball ability is as good as midfielders and forwards and his defending is at good as good as best defenders so he’s doing the best of Best of Both Worlds yes yes um but um Angie do you have any words in regards to paari I mean y for his age you know doing this yeah I feel like we kind of have the mixture of Ramos PK and pool one to be honest and what players to him for leandos exactly exactly um and uh it was a very good Cameo it was a very good Cameo I do back he leaving the summer back yeah right here yeah what’s it called there was a moment which he he he had like this recovery right here he basically had this recovery right here um and um he was basically one onone but but again as good as poor is it’s better for to leave to develop you know all the all all the Spanish midfielders you know Gabi pedri and Pablo they need to do a shooting sessions with leandos suiting session yeah yes look at the Spanish place we have in barcela don’t that’s why I say don’t blame Del calling them out because calling them they’re because the the lcia players in the bus region players are the only good players they have developing play right now they think there’s no and B players okay um you can’t blame the for calling them calling out no no but but like for example you know like if you see a player is caring a lot minutes you know maybe rest him you know you’re playing Nation League you know it’s different now it it it counted their res me as a player now but I mean still um trophy is a trophy n in the day me true um imagine Le in in this team fire any any any left Winger of quality would be absolutely amazing obviously NJ we we we know you’re you’re you don’t like Le but um he’s de B I’m telling you right now he’s be lazy halfway I’m not no no but you have a chance he’s gonna have a chance reping or benching it depends on the game like who who suit who suits more in the game I still think uh we should we should substitute kubar because he has been playing lots of game at his age so AR will come in in place of him I think I mean when you compare when you compare a Midfield Center back they don’t really run compared to a midfielder they only run when when they do no no but still like like even like just being out there like you risk of an injury for example of ACL which you know hopefully he doesn’t have an ACL injury but you know injuries like or freak acents or anything like that you know you want to you you want to put a modest amount of minutes into into his legs uh but guys overall uh in in tonight’s match against press I thought it was a much improved performance it was a step in the right direction for Barcelona we got back into winning ways and uh it’s fantastic you know after those negative Sensations that we did have against soigo and as well as against um we shad and uh we’re going to be moving on to this weekend uh against Las palas and um I believe it’s Sunday let me make sure I’m right I don’t want to have it incorrect it’s going to be no Saturday Saturday all right you know after watching watching the these performances you know I feel feel now so frustrated for the sgo game you know yeah only thing we
