[Music] [Applause] hello and welcome here to talk FCB and welcome back to the channel guys where basa tonight did indeed respond because it had been two games without a win which given our form this season had felt like a lifetime but right here in the Champions League coming up against breast we have done it we have delivered and we have beaten them by three goals to nil courtesy of two from Robert levandowski and one brilliant goal there from Danny olmo but it wasn’t just about the goals tonight we’re going to be talking about the magic that we saw from pedri but also the frosty reception for Frankie young guys that is all coming up here tonight so come on and let’s do it because I do believe guys tonight right here in the Champions League coming up against a team like breast who had actually had some really decent results in the competition they’re not an easy team to face and it wasn’t an easy game for us like I say we had come into this game having not won in our last two games confidence was starting to take a little bit of a hit and it was really important here that we started this game well and that hansy flick lined up with a really good strong team that could take the game to breast immediately and make sure that we got ourselves underway and if you’re looking at the lineup first of all here the backline was very very important there but we also saw again Gerard Martin we’re going to talk about him in just a moment there Bal was still not ready to start this game and Martin still being preferred there to Hector for but I think the most important thing here in this lineup it came in Midfield for me pedri and cassado as that double pivot it gives the entire team security you know everybody plays better everything functions better when you’ve got those two there at the heartbeat of your team they can control things they can make sure here that you’re playing the game on your terms and they can dictate the tempo the two of them together they complement each other absolutely perfectly and of course what we saw then was Almo in his favored number 10 position that was vital for us as well he played very very well rafino was from the right hand side with firing this time deployed over towards the left but again that front line there very very fluid all of them had chances tonight and honestly all of them could have gotten themselves on the score sheet but I would just like to start by saying on Gerard Martin here guys obviously before the game we were quite critical of him I would just say here to be perfectly honest and be very very fair he was improved tonight now I think that was mainly because there wasn’t a great deal of threat going the other way there particularly down breast right hand side Martin was allowed a lot of freedom he was often the man who was actually left open left free there on our left side he had a lot of space there to operate in and really get down that flank to cause problems but of course you did have a big big part there in our second goal and he was improved based on previous performances and I also think as well ferine Lopez coming into this team tonight provided some really really good energy he definitely should have scored he had a number of chance in front of goal but he got himself about the game you know he really made sure he got himself into important positions he took attention away from levandowski he took attention away from Almo from Rafia that’s what you want there you want players who can compliment the exceptional players that we had there open up the space for them and he really did do well to give us that extra edge here tonight and I think the first goal I think the timing of it first of all that is absolutely vital there to score so early on in the game that really gave us a lift we built on the good atmosphere that was inside the stadium there and I think here phenomenal from pedre you know you look at the way here that he plays this pass he doesn’t get an assist for it in the end he should do by the way because it’s him here that creates this whole penalty situation he just lifts the ball over the back line perfectly weighted into levandowski hangs it up there but you’ve also got to give huge credit here to levandowski because the way here that he knows the keeper is coming he has the intelligence he has the experience to know the keeper is on his way and all he does is just get his body in between him and the ball there he turns he waits for the contact and to be fair to him the goalkeeper absolutely smashes him you know he waits for it and in the end there’s no doubt at all it is a clear penalty kick he smashes through him and the goalkeeper for the penalty he is waiting the level leowski he’s thinking okay where’s he going to go how can I really read what he’s going to do here and again levandowski so much experience so much knowhow here on the Champions League stage his runup we know is very calculated very very clear he’s looking at the goalkeeper he’s waiting for him to move and it’s a game of chess and in the end levandowski as he so often does he wins that battle he sends the keeper the wrong way he puts it in the other corner and that was a special moment for Robert levandowski that was his 100th champion League goal and what that means guys is that he joins some quite incredible company at the very top of the Champions League goal scoring charts there only Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are players that have reached that Milestone and not only that as well but he achieved 100 goals quicker there levandowski than Ronaldo did so absolutely extraordinary numbers and I think as well we should have added to our lead much sooner like I say we had chance after chance after chance whether it was fine Lopez in front of go whether it wasmo there Rafia levandowski at times we could couldn’t quite find that final ball it was a bit frustrating at 1 nil you were thinking let’s put the game Beyond doubt you know let’s go further and further ahead we’re leaving the door open there for breast because they did show at times how dangerous they can be they’ve got real real Pace I think there was a moment of absolute Genius of magic there in the second half and it came from Robert levandowski I mean the back heel here it was Sensational I did enjoy levandowski performance tonight guys he was really really good in around the penalty area as well it’s a wonderful back heel right into the path of f Lopez making one of those energetic runs into the box and again he definitely should score and after that Danny Alma went very very close we got kundai on the overlap it was into the box bouncing around Elmo hits it cleared off the line and it felt like one of those nights you know is that second goal going to come are we going to be able to see this over the line because we are by far the better team we dominated breast in all areas here we really got on top of them if you know what I mean but finally it happened finally there we got the second goal of the game on 65 minutes and this goal it was absolutely spectacular in my opinion there and Gerard Martin to his credit is part of it he actually cuts it back there to Danny ELO who’s arriving there into the penalty area so so good at timing Those runs isn’t he he comes onto it at the perfect moment and the way that he takes that pass in his stride and then just slams his way through that defensive line no they can’t get near him they’re all surrounding him there there’s bodies everywhere in that box but ELO there just jinking between them absolutely beautiful play from him quick feet and then finding the Finish there as well just poking it home past the goalkeeper and that was a massive goal too I think the fact that we scored the first goal so early was vital in the game and the way here we were able to add that second take the game beyond the reach your breast and the way we did it as well with Almo there absolutely Sensational and even those in the stands there really enjoyed it there you had jard PK watching the game tonight Lin malan fortunately still watching the game from the sidelines T was there christon Fant Tores and nice to see as well Mark BAU in the stands all of them there applauding and enjoying that second goal but we have to talk about pedri we simply have to talk more about the joy The Joy the complete Joy of watching this man play football tonight guys because honestly like I say he leaves the field without an assist technically he also didn’t get a goal but who even cares he doesn’t need an assist he doesn’t need a goal watch that watch that performance and just tell me you don’t smile you know when you see him taking on the ball there with players around him knowing that he’s got the ability to just maneuver his way out of tight dangerous situations and the way that he could just make things happen you know with one pass there with one flick of his boots he can really open teams up there and you can see the whole picture with him it is absolute poetry and that is why when he was subbed off there with 87 minutes gone in this game I’m really glad by the way that flick did take him off with a few minutes to go because he deserves to hear that kind of Ovation from the fans there to understand just how good he is how good this young man is and by the way he is still young you know he only just recently turned 22 years old this is a player who is special who is able to do things from that Midfield area that few players in the world can do and we have to appreciate here these kinds of performances that we’ve been seeing all season long by the way from the Bas of Midfield and moving further forward as well so huge credit here huge evation for pedri out there tonight however the man who came on in his place there in Midfield Frank young only got a few minutes in this game again he wasn’t out there in the starting lineup and well the bar fans they were not too happy inside of the stadium of course it’s not a massive number of whistles of booze when he comes onto the field it’s not like the whole stadium is against him but you could hear it you know on the TV there the way the microphones picked it up there would definitely whistles towards D young there’s definitely a bit of ill feeling from some inside of the stadium towards Frank diong and that was surprising I’ve got to say guys with Barca leading the game with pedri playing so well coming off that big evation and then dong coming on and hearing those whistles I was actually surprised to hear that what did you make of the reaction from the crowd and of course barcela kept going right up until the final moments of the game going for more goals in typical handsy flick style and who is the man to get the third assisted by Bal it was Robert levandowski of course he couldn’t stop at 100 goals let’s go for more 100 one now for Robert levandowski there the Finish was absolutely perfect placing it there in the bottom right hand corner Beautiful Finish really rounds off the victory three goals to nil to Barca and better still with a few games still to play here with teams tomorrow in action we are up to second in the Champions League table right now out of all 36 teams we are currently second that is where we want to be well actually we want to be one higher but
