[Music] we start on Thanksgiving morning here for us on the west coast just after afternoon on the East Coast with the Chicago Bears at the Detroit Lions look ahead was Detroit minus 11 a half and we have seen money continuously flow on the road Underdog down to 9 and a half here at bet us I’ve seen some eight and a halfs out there in the market elsewhere Chicago played well last week against Minnesota lost by a field goal uh they did cover most numbers I think we might have landed three so you might have pushed um but there were a lot of three and a halfs out there leading up to game time um they were down 24-10 in the second half of that game down 11 in the final minute they were covered an onside kick absolute bedum at the end of that Bears game but the offense fell flat in overtime Minnesota got across the Finish Line Detroit continues to just be a bulldozer they one and covered in Indie they’re now 10- one straight up 9 and2 against the spread this year uh Chris I’ll give you first crack at your hometown team they are an absolute Juggernaut having won nine games in a row yeah I was noticing uh this morning that there uh um oh I just clicked it away what happened here I noticed that their average margin of Victory is is something absurd it’s uh like 16 points or something uh I just lost the page doing it anyway uh I’ve been on Detroit every week and uh the line has been short every week so uh I still continue to support them they’re dinged up though this week they’ve got problems uh khif Raymond’s going to be out for uh at least four weeks he’s their top return guy he’s a third receiver Speedy little guy um Decker the left tackle he’s uh iffy to go the last game he missed uh Goff through five interceptions so he may be an important part of the team uh and a couple of other guys are still iffy but the team really has enough depth where they should be able to get through this and uh they’ve had their troubles recently on Thanksgiving so I worry a little bit about that uh but I I think that they have the ship wred um my model supports playing them uh minus the current n and a half but uh I’m going to attack the game differently uh personally I’m using him in moneyline parlays and and teasers and such for the show I’m going to use him in two different teasers because I was going to play him straight once and then put in a teaser then I’m like why bother betting them straight when it’s a standalone game uh and I can just reset the other games uh at the end or have lots of extra value on those games so um I am using them in two teasers and if should I list the other games I guess I should I’m going to list uh with Pittsburgh plus 10 Detroit minus two and a half Pittsburgh plus 10 the Saints plus 10 in one teaser and then in the other teaser that’s plus 130 and that’s a seven seven point te yeah I’m sorry I should say that’s a seven point teaser and you need to you need to get to the 10 on both of those and you need to get below the three on Detroit otherwise passerino uh the other teaser seven-point teaser minus two and a half with Philadelphia plus 10 and buffalo pick and that’s also plus 130 and if something happens with Detroit uh I’ll come in and and reset the other teams and do something uh with them possibly uh in the uh comments section and I’m going to do it live bet I’m doing Detroit minus 9 and a half Dre brings up a great point and he’s right he’s like uh Pros are on the Bears well I’ll make the case that there’s no self-respecting Pro that would have ever bet the bears plus 10 you had all day Monday and Tuesday to bet plus 10 and a half so don’t give me that sharp Pros are betting plus 10 like like you’re not going to get plus 10 at post on this game my power ratings make the game Detroit minus 11 a half obviously St Brown’s banged up Decker’s banged up there are injuries but I’ve lowered Detroit’s power rating to reflect that and I still get Lions minus 11 half favorites on Thanksgiving have been a juggernaut I don’t have all the numbers but in general favorites cover on Thanksgiving and you know what else covers Thursday teams playing teams that had to play in overtime on Sunday which the Bears had to do I I’ll make the case this is a horrendous spot for the Bears Detroit’s been styling they’ve been like that you know one of that like King Kong Bundy That’s just been flattening opponents in the first two minutes and they barely even have a match um for their last five U matches and now they’re facing another jobber but this jobber and the Bears they’ve lost three straight games against the Patriots and then games they need like blood against Green Bay and against Minnesota where they had chance to win and they couldn’t quite do it how much is left in the tank for a short week King Kong Bundy power smash Lions minus n and a half me against the pros let’s go it’s a great point because I think this Bears team has rode the roller coaster this year and the Hail Mary comes to mind and they’ve kind of Fallen flat since then and then they showed a little bit of fight after the Patriots just absolute mashing no excuse for that game considering how bad New England has looked this year especially defensively and then they battled back and they kind of were in those two divisional games but can they turn around quick week on the road against I would say right Fest best team in the NFL right now Detroit Lions hands number one Detroit’s winning the one you know we’re getting adjusted we’re getting so comfortable with that we have to remember that the NFC is so competitive that you know a bad week or two can throw the lions in the number five hole so they have every incentive to stay focused it’s a fantastic point and I have a Kevin oconnell Coach of the Year ticket at like 26 to1 and I I’m worried that Dan Campbell like Vikings might go 14 and three this year and and and Dan Campbell might still steal that award from me right from outside of Kevin okon’s nose this is the first meeting for the divisional Rivals this year the bears actually won the last meeting between these two teams I know that sounds hard to believe it was a Justin Fields Legacy game last year week 14 he went bananas in the second half the Lions held scoreless in the entire second half of that football game I’m sure Ben Johnson and Jared gof remember that game let’s not forget the first time they met uh Chicago gave up a two-score lead in the final like in like less than a minute or two it was ridiculous yeah yeah it feels like Lion teaser City I I mean they’re going to be in every teaser every moneyline parlay to start the day so I’m sure the books will be rooting very hard for the Bears um we have seen some I’m using the air quote sharp money on on Chicago plus 9 and a half now down to 8 and a half at at one of the shops here in town but I don’t know I ain’t buying it Chris is going to put the lions in a teaser uh Fez is gonna lay it with the Lions I’m gonna let these two sharp gentlemen have their fun with Detroit on Thanksgiving afternoon all right let’s [Music] a [Music]
