I need an evaluation of Bill Simmons as a basketball player the Grantland offices were downtown Los Angeles a quick little little little ride down Figaroa to the USC campus and at the USC campus you can just kind of saunter into the gym and play he was getting back into playing pick up something that he enjoyed as a kid so it sort of like brought it sort of resurfaced for him and we had a really good run of like three years of playing once or twice a week and his game is he’s got a good jump shot and if he finds his spot right he’s not an athlete you know what I mean he’s not going to like jump up and block shots and grab it off the rim he’s also like 45 at this point or whatever but he’s got a spot 13 feet from the Baseline and it’s it’s like I don’t even go in for the rebound if he’s if he shoots from there I just start running back it’s automatic cat quick hands really good hands on defense if it’s a If he if he’s the one on a two and one I guarantee you he’s slapping the ball out of someone’s hands before they get it above their shoulders 100% of the time
