the Boston Bruins lose 8-1 to the winipeg Jets in their first real test in the sacko era swan in the third period was not good and the players in front of them the whole game were not good either I usually cover the highs and the lows of the Bruins game but this game was just filled with so many lows I’m going to have to give my Boston Bruins Festivus and air out my grievances about the Boston Bruins in their 8-1 loss so buckle up Bruins fans I’m here to give you the latest info on your beloved Boston Bruins if you’ve been liking my Bruins content please leave me a like and subscribe if you’ve already done so thank you and let’s get into it I bet some fans want to go back to before the game when the biggest story was whether David Pastak was going to play before the Bruins went on the Western Road Trip David Pastak miss practice and the Bruins fan base went into panic mode zacko mentioned he was day-to-day and that he wouldn’t bring anyone up on the trip that told me there was nothing big to worry about and we should just move on didn’t stop people from countless Doom scrolling post that ponac has done for the year by the same section of the fan base that said past KN stinks it seems to be a theme this year as the fan base gets to go on a roller coaster of emotions that this Boston Bruins cause us the good news is past skated before the game and he’s playing and everything is fine right before the game sacko mentioned that Winnipeg was one of the best five on five teams in the league and they had the third best power play and they needed to be disciplined um just their overall game I think their five on five game is very solid both offensively and defensively um they get good goal tending obviously every night and the power play stands out to me being number third in the league so we’re going to have to be disciplined tonight but just a team that really plays the right way all the time and that’s why they’re getting the results that they’ve had for majority for the majority did he only tell the media this everything he said they needed to do I saw the opposite tonight from the Boston Bruins I don’t think I felt like the Bruins were ever in this game I used to go period by period but with an 81 loss I think we’re past that but I’m going to try my best from the puck drop on this game Winnipeg was out playing the Bruins and first on the puck and Tre Frederick set the tone for the game by taking a penalty 25 seconds into the game Winnipeg as I mentioned has the League’s third best power play and after last night’s game now has the second an interference penalty set the tone to what was going to be an ugly night we got to see the two-faced Batman villain Boston ruins last night the power play gave the Jets all the momentum right away they moved the puck around well and got to test Swan early they didn’t score on that power play and I thought to myself maybe this would lift the team and sway into New Heights because they shut the door early it kind of did for a brief couple minutes and the Bruins played the only stretch in the game that resembled Bruins hockey it was a Festivus Miracle it was short Liv because I feel this is when the wheels fell off in the hockey game when at 10:30 of the first period Brandon Carlo takes a double minor for high sticking Kyle Connor see remember for the game when sacko said they need to stay out the box now we’re at the halfway point of the first period and about to give the Jets a 4minute power play you can’t even make this up and high sticking no less because if you watch my videos you know I call High sticking penalties stupid penalties there’re some of the laziest penalties you can take right up there with interference which we saw 25 seconds into the game and hooking oh I forgot to mention slashing probably one of the dumbest in them all of course the Jets score on the first of the two-minute power play on an unlucky bounce that hits off a bruin pops out on the other side nikov has a wide open net Bruins kill the remainder of the penalty but the play from the Bruins after that goal was just brutal Winnipeg was first on the four check generating all the chances and controlling the play with ease absolutely no push back from the Bruins whatsoever they made it easy on the Jets to steamroll them stop me if you heard this one before but with less than 2 minutes left in the first period that Bruins gets scored on in an 8-1 loss you know there are some bad goals but this one by far was one of the worst of the night David Pastak and Brad marshan both exit the Zone like they have control of the play for some reason did they see something no one else saw I’m not too sure they leave five Jets players and only three Bruins In Their Own Zone lorai and Peak look lost and decide to have two of them cover one player leaving Mark shley wide open in the slot as he rips on past Swan who absolutely had no chance I’m sure sacko is going to make team watched this one on repeat today to show them how embarrassing this was so the period ends and it’s two nothing Winnipeg I didn’t feel good after this period they look sloppy uninterested to be there and just bad Swan looked okay but not great and don’t worry Swan will get his in a minute from me every single Brewing player was stepping up to the pole and losing showing off their Feats of Strength except maybe Frederick in the third but I still feel he gets in his fight so he can leave the game because he doesn’t want to be out there anymore but it was nice to see a one punch decision so good on you Frederick for knowing how to get yourself out of a game where you all look terrible the second period it’s the Jets that get into the penalty trouble first but since the Bruins have the worst power play in the league I’m sure they weren’t worried the Jets kill the first Power Play and it’s the Bruins who take the next because David Pastak decides because the refs aren’t calling any of the rough stuff he decides to get a high sticking penalty to get back at the jet that’s going to show them right such a selfish penalty I have never understood when a team thinks they aren’t getting the calls their way that they take an obvious penalty is the way to go and put their team down for the Jets it was a Festivus miracle and none other than Mark shley rips one past Swan and this was the first one I wanted Swan to have on the night Schley is in the slot yes but we all saw this one coming but Swan’s reaction just seemed so slow and he just didn’t get over in time Swan seemed to be going down on every shot and not cutting down angles and controlling the rebounds his worst game of his career by far I want to make it clear though he was terrible but man the team in front of them wasn’t winning the game no matter who was in net they stunk I have to hand it to the Bruins they win as a team and man they lose it as a team the one bright spot of the game besides the three fights in the third is the Bruins pp1 gets a power play after this goal and actually looks good out there pck misses the first attempt at the shot he shoots the puck wide but gets the puck back right away for a second attempt and blast ones past hellu the one guy that 100% looked injured while playing scores the Bruin’s only goal of the game and even after he scored it looked like no one cared barely a reaction from Pastak when he scored the period ends and it’s 3-1 but it wasn’t like the Flyers game I don’t think anyone got the sense to Bruins could come back in this one and if you did please explain to me how sacko after the game mentions he hopes they could but didn’t sound confident at all that he actually thought they could so for the third period it was a Gong Show and Winnipeg dominated them from start to finish I think it does towards the end um you know it’s 3-1 after two periods we’ve been in that position before we thought that we could certainly work our way back into the game uh but we didn’t and uh so you know you don’t take too much stock in at the end of at the end of the game when it’s 781 but there’s things that we need to to address and correct and we will each player from the Bruins steps up to the pole and tries to show their Feats of Strength and fails miserably yes Frederick gets in a fight followed by cck and then zador off but that’s what players do when they’re playing that bad and want out of a bad situation a lot of people say hey they’re sticking up for the team and they’re not going down without a fight but these three fights honestly even after the Frederick won like Frederick one made sense but the celik and sidorov one like what was the point of it you’ve now put your team down three players you’re not lifting up your teammates when you’re already losing that bad you’re getting your s out of the game so you don’t have to take a beating anymore fans who wanted those tough Bruins well they got it in the third but Winnipeg decided to hem the Bruins In Their Own Zone and score at will on Swan instead of fighting because scoring goals wins hockey games just going to have all these goals playing while I talk because no one needs to really of how they came about and the Jets do get another Power Play goal and end up with three of them on the night because of course they did before I air it my grievances on Swan because he 100% deserves him this loss isn’t on him as I said before he played his worst game of his career but as it crazy as that sounds he wasn’t alone in that Brad marshan Elias lolm and David Pastak who are supposed to drive offense for the Bruins look terrible at both ends of the ice their five on five play has been a strong point for them this season and was embarrassing last night lenol was a minus three Marian A minus two and Pastak a minus two Marian and Pastak though are not minus three because they got off the ice before one of the goals was scored in the Third on a terrible line change which kind of led to the goal the bosson ruins are right now 28th in the league for goals per game so before you blame this all on the terrible goal tending which it was understand no goalie is saving this team right now they can’t score and that’s just a fact and the number one reason they’re losing hockey games let’s show the goals Winnipeg scored in the third as I talk about the single worst performance of Swan’s career it was Unreal how bad he played in the third period And I can understand why sacko left him in because it wouldn’t be fair to Corpus Salo if he put him in the game because it wouldn’t have stopped the bleeding and probably not helped Corpus be ready for the next game I’ve said this countless times that I’ve been surprised by aco’s decisions when picking his starter because a couple times I thought coer Salos deserved the start but I’m not the coach and yes swan has played well under sackle until last night out of the five goals that winneg scores in the third I would say two of them Swan really needed to have but near the end it looked like he had given up the fifth goal and the seventh goal has to have them but man that eighth goal was such a bad giveaway if you watch the replay of the goals you will see besides the power play goal that some of the Bruins pretty much assisted on each and every every goal on the eighth goal they gave an assist to Cole Peretti but we all know that it was Peak that feeds chiov in the slot and the ref felt like being nice and give assist to Peretti Swan looks off the whole third period and maybe he’s angry because the team in front of him stunk but he let in some ugly goals that seventh goal was scored from behind the net in the corner those can’t go in and he has no one to blame but himself I really like Marian’s quote after the game when being asked if sacko should have pulled him marshan said not really everyone had a bad night he was part of it he’s not singled out I don’t think anyone can look at themselves in the mirror and say they had a good game he’s part of the group and he’s part of the bad loss now Marian’s other quote after the game I felt it was a cop out and he said this was coming our practices have been sloppy our execution has been off there and it bleeds into the game the way you practice is how you play these guys are professionals and using bad practices as an excuse needs to stop because it doesn’t fly with me anymore and I’m sure it doesn’t fly with you watching Swan had the worst game of his career and he got eight goals scored against him last night and I have no doubt corpac gets the next start against Seattle and most likely as long as corpo plays well he won’t start against Vancouver even though I think you need to throw him back into the wolves and play another good team to redeem himself if he doesn’t then you play corporel until his arms fall off if they can stay above 500 on this Western Road Trip they should be able to Rise Above This embarrassing loss they play some very good teams over the next stretch of games along with playing against the Canucks again which they need to redeem themselves after de Brusque came back into Boston and beat them debrusk is having a great season and hopefully it continues for him but but the fact of the matter is he’s no longer a bruin and he didn’t even want to come back so why C over spill mil the real thing the Bruins need to take from this 81 loss is how they play the game after and if they fall flat on their face again the Bruins have a real issue and the coaching change won’t be the
