minder Talon muscolino just three saves away from 1,000 for his illustrious career yeah and he’s been a great net minder for moha since he took over the net and we’ve got a lot of his family here to celebrate just as uh couple nights ago for well yesterday really for an mcsso goalie having family there to celebrate a big moment it it was interesting after the game when we were here on I I believe that was Wednesday they thought that muscolino had gotten his 1,000 save and then they realized oh he was credited with three too many saves so he’s actually on 997 so his he got the puck but now it just has to they’ll they’ll have to change the date on the uh on the puck I believe well they’re going to have to get Puck though that was not the save 1000 Puck and apparently Kush to Tarka that was because of some liberal stat keeping from Mr Lomax again so Conor LX in the news both he and Merck Ferrera have gotten some time though in the last couple of days to get Talon this opportunity here at Cody as we’re just about set to go and looks like a classic almost like a Darby style match up the blue on one side the red on the other as we’re just about set to go from Cody again three saves away from Mr muscolino hitting 1,000 as this backhand goes behind him going in after it is Tyler musculin as this is picked up by Dom Landy The Talented sophomore three goals and two assists on the season sends it to the far side boards tries to get it back instead it finds it all the way through but offside just by a hair was moha they tried to find kein sabori and he has been a breakout star this year from aoha already got six points four goals and two he’s been a really bright spot that’s come out of the season so far yeah sabori and landal have really been the leaders offensively so far from aohan and they they want to get a little bit more scoring but when you have a net minder as good as they have well you can sneak out some games as this one moves along further this is a team that’s a little banged up they are without Daniel McGary for the entire season he is got an injury during the football year so he is out for the A and they’re also without Anthony Walsh at least for the moment as this is popped out to the center well I was told Anthony Walsh is out for the season ah as a penalty is coming up taking a tumble was Kyle eninger and so it’ll be a power play early on for moha as way out of the Zone coming on to this is catapano almost pickpocketed but a good job shielding It Off from a shot on goal as this is Jackson Murphy centering feed goes all the way back out to Center picked up there by Ryan STI skated forward again Charles Barry the number three in blue shoved off the puck by a couple of marauders and catapano tries to clear but only gets as far as the blue return to Center he tries the other way but didn’t get all of it Barry can only chip it further good job by catapano rattles the boards centering feed there from Ryan Mau just misses and goes back to the point Barry blocked in front trying to get that out of the zone is Ryan juet and he does that’s another player to watch is Ryan Mau eight assists on the season and he is a playmaker par excellance for the Scotch Plains team this goes all the way down no icing one of a couple players that can really create on this Raiders Squad and they are skating well to start this game here comes Ryan STI again coming in that’s a save for muscolino it pops out to the side and he covers it up in the crease and there it is save number 1,000 for muscolino musculin with 1,000 career saved and you see his family to the left as the youngster dubbed as the hawk get save number 1,000 with about five minutes gone here in the period congratulations to Talon on that fantastic career achievement congratulations to T musino on 1 career and there’s the announcement over the loudspeaker and some Applause as well from the scotch blade fedw faithful very sportsmanlike for them and here’s the thing though now that the achievement is done now he can go back to focusing on the biggest number and that’s zero and he wants to keep on the board yeah exactly that is all he cares about now is just keeping the zero on the board made a couple of saves back to back and his family immediately knew it right to our left try my best to to get them on the screen but yeah we might have to take some photos during the intermission yeah that might be I think that would be cool to put up with the uh with the clip actually might be something to think about for all future Milestones that we are on hand for as this comes the other way trying to move it forward is Kean sabori takes it into the corner Shadow there and takes a big hit coming in there was sa Nera and she is not afraid to get into the physical save yeah the Avenue just kind of opened up there for STI but a great job by muscolino who doesn’t want to stop at 1,000 wants to keep going and continue makes him big saves for his team to keep them in the game as we’ve seen muscolino do so many times over his high school career off the tie up picked up by moha they’ll skate it ahead two on two flicking this forward is pitko first one to it though is Samantha Nera she gets sandwich on both sides a chance from the circle and they score and on the day when his brother reaches a thousand saves Tyler muscolino gets the opening goal for all the Marauders we’re tied at one you know sometimes it’s a classic case of brother stealing the Limelight from the other brother on the 1,000 save day of course Tyler has to score as well got open and a blue liner that’s stepping up into the offensive zone to take the shot there here comes the Raiders right time to respond and good job back checking just enough that time from moha now is Tyler to get on go on and I think the I think part of it is that catapano was trying to get up I think the referee saw him slowly getting to his feet and maybe thinking okay maybe he’s all right to continue let’s let the play Flow if he had stayed down that might have actually led to a stopage and I we didn’t see what happened either there was a big scramble all around the ice at that moment didn’t see what happened in front as catapano went down to the ice but the moha faithful and Coach tatarka are not pleased to say the least as that’s goes out of play with 20 seconds remaining in the period still only 20 seconds left so again you don’t want to take any chances at this point we hope that’s nothing major for catapano hopefully just took a a shot or or something in the wrong place again we white the Raiders with the lead and on the puck sending that across messian a centering feed looking for Charles cetti goes behind shadowed by PA STI centering feed to the opposite Circle and they score what a pass Tic Tac Toe as putting it home was messian his second of the game 3-1 Raiders well the Raiders ended the first period with a goal and they start this second with another as he said Tic Tac Toe go behind the net just get it out in front make that one move move another one time pass and one time shot is nothing that muscolino could do that time around to make it 3-1 all it takes is a slight overcommitment to one side out of that defensive box and you can leave a dangerous shooter alone and that’s what happened there messian takes advantage as the Raiders up 3-1 that shot goes just wide another goal inside the first minute of play we’ve seen a couple of those in this tournament from a lot of teams as the Raiders again on a five game winning streak might not be the largest roster in the world but there’s a lot of talent up and down it think can be said for this moha squad and especially though when you consider the division that the Raiders are doing it in it makes it all the more impressive yeah they are playing in a really tough Kelly division as that one hits a player in the moha bench continue Charlie as we’ve seen from this SX Holiday Tournament there’s some good Kelly division teams and the nji NJ IHL say that five times fast is easily really good conference I mean the same thing could be said for the mcss IHL Tres that five times fast that’s true so many so many letters so little time here’s a chance in front oh another beautiful pass across and there’s the hat trick from messian and just like that it’s 4-1 once again he just finds himself in the right spot right time at the at the post and it’s a face off that goes into the Zone they do a great job of just skating up it becomes a three on one and once again nothing that muscolino could do three straight goals now that Talon muscolino is just been able unable to do anything as here they come again good to see kapano back out there is that shot comes in muscolino has this one and what led to that goal was the pinch in from the defense on that right hand side you have to be absolutely sure when you’ve got three players breaking in on two you go for that pinch you have to be able to at least pin it if not get it the other way and unfortunately didn’t happen that time and the Raiders took advantage of it they win it back again sent in by Ryan STI looking for his brother Charles
