[Music] welcome to your daily 49ers update I’m Rob stats Guerrera here is what’s happening the season hangs in the balance tonight and the 49ers finally got some good injury news for a change ESPN Insider Adam schfer tweeted around 4 a.m Pacific time that running back Isaac gendo is going to try and play tonight against the Rams according to sources shefer wrote gendo insists that he quote feels good for what it’s worth gendo has insisted he’s going to play all along he said after the Bears game that he was fine and the ners were just being extra cautious with him he’s going to give it a go in a huge game for the ners if he can’t finish the game for whatever reason it’ll be Patrick Taylor Jr and izy aananda backing him up as for the other injuries for the ners Trent Williams Ben B and Malik Mustafa all will not play in the game four players are questionable Nick Bosa Dre Greenlaw and khil Davis technically Isaac Reno is one of those players but you already heard about him when the game does get underway of course all eyes will be on Debo Samuel after his tweets earlier in the week for what it’s worth George KD says Debo could break out tonight to me Debo’s very close to just breaking It Wide Open so I’m very excited for him this Thursday cuz I think he’s going to have one of those um amazing Debo Thursday night games especially against the Rams that’s what I see um so yeah I mean guys want to voice their opinions on social media it is what it is I don’t really care it doesn’t make anybody in this locker room think any differently about him um you know Debo thinks highly of himself as we all think very highly of Debo because he’s a hell of a football player so he just wants to you know be out there and contribute to the team and I think he’s going to have opportunity to do that this weekend or this Thursday it sure would be nice to see if it happens because we know the ners could really really use it last one for you Brock pie give us a scouting report on that Rams defense they do a lot to be honest like just coverages and and how they play um they have a lot on tape which you know as a offense and a quarterback you know you just got to be on top of your stuff per play um sometimes there’s those defenses where you walk up and you you know what they’re in and uh and sort of expect them to do uh certain Tendencies throughout the game from what you’ve seen on film but I think these guys do a good job of switching things up and and um you know you just got to be on top of your stuff their front is really good and explosive they’ve gotten better throughout the year and uh their secondary their linebackers everybody they all tie together man they’ve they’re they’re playing the best football that they have uh right now so huge challenge for us they did just give up 42 points to the bills but that of course was the bills and Josh Allen it may take 35 or 40 if the Niners are going to win tonight they’re capable of it we’ll see if they can actually do it we always give you one thing to read one thing to watch and one thing you might have missed one thing to read on this this Thursday Bill Barnwell has an eyee to the Future specifically the 49ers off season he’s laid out a plan for the team in that time if you want to read it click the link in the description of this episode one thing to watch this freaking Channel baby we’re going to have a preview show 10:00 a.m. Pacific time today me and Levan break down everything Niners Rams you definitely want to check that out and of course after the game we’ll have the instant reaction show recapping everything that happens good bad and ugly hopefully it’s a happy recap but regardless if it’s a therapy session we are still here for you make sure you check that out immediately following the game one thing you may have missed congratulations yor gr Matos you are the NFC defensive player of the week you were the only player in the NFL in week 14 to have three sacks and the only player in the NFC with at least two sacks and three plus tackles a little bit of trivia for you gr Matos is actually the second 49ers player this year to win player of the week the other Jake Moody after week one just like we all had on the bingo card gross Matos and Jake Moody as the ners players of the week that’s a wrap on today’s 49ers and five please rate review and follow the gold standard audio podcast wherever you get your pods like And subscribe to the YouTube channel as well click the Bell to get notified when we’re live which is every single weekday after every Niners game and after all Niners breaking news enjoy your Thursday everybody I’m Rob stats Guerrera we’ll talk later today for
