what’s up Mets fans welcome back to talking Mets at Rob how is everybody doing we got some breaking news here on the WAN sto front as there is new offers made to Juan soda as the initial offers came in earlier this week we do know now according to multiple reports that teenss if not one maybe more has made new offers to Juan stto but we have haven’t heard anything about the New York Mets making a second offer and we’re going to get into that in this video we’re going to explain why and we’re going to see what are the new details possibly new offers from the other teams for Juan stto so make sure you hit that like button guys and subscribe to the Channel all right guys so there was new offers made according to reports and it was confirmed that the New York Yankees has come back with a second offer to Wan sto and you know you would think the initial offers was everybody’s first offer and then there’s going to be some C offers is going to be finalist and it’s a very pecular way of doing things with this free agent period when it comes to Juan soda it’s very different than the sh Otani or big free agents in the past couple of years it’s a little bit of a different way of doing things where it’s kind of a minute amount of teams in on Juan sto maybe there’s a mystery team or two but we know the real players here for Juan sto so what is it right the new offer again we still haven’t heard any dollar amount on the initial offers on the new offers from any other the teams so everybody’s keeping it close to the vests in each organization even Scott Boris who would probably love to leak all these information out hasn’t leaked out numbers as of yet why is that are teams that are very interested in in woto who are the big suters for woto saying we don’t want this leap is this a companywide team wide organizational wide Major League Baseball wide silence on the offers the only teams that know about it are the teams that are involved about the offers from other teams or no teams know the other offers but why would it be a second offer why would it be new offers on the table after the initial offers if the other teams didn’t know the offers currently on the table so knowing that we haven’t heard any numbers we haven’t heard the amount we haven’t heard the years we have haven’t heard the aav and yet people are panicking there’s meth fans panicking there’s Yankee fans panicking there’s you know reporters saying that this team is out there’s fans going crazy on social media the fact of the matter is until we hear actual numbers there should be no fan base worry including Mets fans who seem to be panicking that the Yanke made a new offer and then I come to think about it right we’ve heard the Yankees made a second offer so that means their first offer was low that means there is the highest offer out there and guess who’s probably the highest offer it’s probably the New York Mets the reason why we haven’t heard the Mets make a second offer now could they make a second second offer absolutely but we don’t really know that and the way people are panicking especially meth fans on social media acting like Juan stto is using the New York Mets for higher higher offers or getting bit teams closer to the Mets offer we don’t we don’t know anything and before anybody panics let’s worry about finding out what are the numbers here what are the years what is the average annual value what is the total contract numbers is there def furrows is there opt outs we don’t know any of that right there’s some rumors that the Yankee second offer their newest offer has a couple of op out in it go figure the Yankees are putting op outs in there because that’s the only way they can get him they can’t give woto a direct offer without opt outs you know why because they’re already bitching and moaning about their L close getting closer to luxury tax being at $300 million not probably doing much more after woto do you really think they’re going to give a full plane offer now it’s a smart play with OP outs because because it could give Juan stto maybe there’s an opt out at the age of 30 which is about four years from now and he can get back on there make $50 million a year and go right back on the free agent Market in four years at the age of 30 where most free agents become free agents that’s a possibility it’s a smart offer but is it total offer high enough is it the highest paid player in baseball is it the highest average annual value compared to any player obviously we know sh elani got the quote unquote $70 million even though the ferments we’re basically paying them a couple million dollars a year the fact of the matter is until we hear the numbers nobody’s out of the game and to me at this moment on Thanksgiving Happy Holidays by the way we haven’t heard any offer from any team numbers aav total contract nothing opt outs anything but the fact that you haven’t heard the Mets make a secondary offer yet tells me that the highest offer is from the New York Mets that’s kind of just the way it looked right without looking at any numbers or any rumors or anything like that why haven’t the Mets made a second offer just like the yanies did and probably other teams did because the Mets probably gave the highest offer and teams are trying to race back to get closer to the Mets number or the years that’s the way it seems and this is this has nothing to do with being a Mets bias it’s just a fact the fact of the matter is why have the Mets not made a second offer now that could they make it on Saturday could make it tomorrow Monday who knows you don’t think for a second guys Scott boris’s final call before this decision is made is going to be back to Steve Cohen and we all know that Yankee fans know that blue Jade fans know it Red Sox fans Dodger fans anybody who’s involved in wano so let’s not panic guys and does this new offer hurt the New York Mets no how can it how can it there’s more than enough teams involved to jump up the price you don’t just need the New York Mets to jump up the price you can use other teams you have the Yankees battling out with a division Rivals two of them the Red Sox and the Blue Jays that can increase the price for the Yankees enough the Mets are the lone wolf in the National League East that are worrying about Juan stto the Yankees have to worry about possibly Juan sto going to the Red Sox or the Blue Jays in their division for the next 10 to 15 years so I don’t want to hear oh they’re using Steve Cohen and the Mets to drive up the price like you don’t think the Red Sox and the Blue Jays are not going to drive out the price for the New York Yankees who are in their division come on guys you got to be smarter than that the fact of the matter is this is not going to hurt the Mets this is not using the Mets this is where the Mets probably have the biggest offer and why do they have to increase anything until they absolutely have to and if you haven’t heard a new offer from the New York Mets maybe they’re very comfortable of the offer they gave their initial offer offer and teams have to chase them now maybe wano saying hey guys look what the Mets did here give me your best offer or game over right that could be the exact thing that’s being said right now maybe these new offers are a final Dash to try to convince juano to either stay a Yankee or go to the Red Sox or blue jays or somebody else why does nobody talk about that scenario you know why because Met fans are beaten down they got the scars of the will puns they got the scars of their franchise that’s why let’s not talk about the other side of the spectrum where the Mets could have the best offer and teams are chasing their final offers because the Mets have the biggest offer we don’t talk about that we talk about the negative and that’s what the meth fans are doing on social media guys Steve Cohen is not an idiot now can Wan solo decide to go elsewhere absolutely that’s his decision but remember guys if you believe this is hurting the New York Mets or being used there’s other teams involved that can easily be used to up the off especially the New York Yankees who have two teams in their division fighting for Juan sto who can easily up the price so remember the Mets haven’t made a new offer yet because it’s probably the best offer and Juan sto probably took that best offer and went to the other teams and that’s why you’re hearing about new offers teams are chasing the Mets here remember that because we would already heard if the Mets didn’t have the biggest offer we know that rumor would have popped out somewhere but because it’s been quiet on that front regardless of the number and the years or the Opals or the defur the Mets have the highest offer on the table because if it wasn’t it would have been leaked already because that would be a huge Story the fact that we haven’t heard that tells you why other teams are making new offers because they’re they’re not in the same Spectrum as the New York Mets offer at this point could it be yes but let’s calm down here and let’s look at the other side of it where the Mets probably gave a very nice offer and other teams are near that offer and that’s why the new offers from the other teams are coming out specifically the New York Yankees let’s look at the positive side why look at the negative side when there shouldn’t be a negative side because the biggest story would be right now if Steve Cohen didn’t have the highest offer that would have been back page number one everybody would have known about it but we’re not hearing that at all there’s not even a hint of that a rumor of that which team is the favorite it’s clear it is the New York Mets it’s just a fact until it’s not until you hear an offer that might be the biggest not named the Mets we got to calm down guys the Mets are the favorite until they’re not until wano picks another team the Mets are the favorite there’s no team that’s going to outbid the New York Mets we already know this other teams know this that are involved in woto but take it for what it’s worth the New York Mets made an initial initial offer just like the other teams the Mets have the best offer why do they have to make a new offer when they’re the best offer that’s why you hearing other teams making new offers specifically the Yankees the Mets are in the driver’s seat let it play out guys the Mets don’t have to make a move if they’re the best offer why step on your own foot when you don’t have to now maybe they will at some point maybe they have to but when you’re the best offer you put a hell of a lot of pressure on Scott bis and woto not to take the best offer once again guys if you enjoyed this video hit on that like
