know that we ladies and gentlemen the New York Yankees are in business yeah yeah yeah Devin Williams is a New York Yankee if you did not know Let Me Tell You Folks you better get to knowing cuz that man is a Yankee give me one second let me fix this and man oh man this is good news for our Yankees folks we are making moves after SoDo and let’s keep it going baby let’s break it all down for you really quickly there it is this was during allrise and we kind of went batshit crazy there for a minute breaking news of Jeff passing bomb the New York Yankees are finalizing a trade to acquire Allstar closer Devin Williams there’s even some more if you guys already know um what the deal is Nester Cor in that deal along with Caleb Durban who the Yankees were talking up a [ __ ] ton all of that talk leads to the New York Yankees Landing Devin Williams and the deal is done it is locked in Devon Williams is a Yankee the Yankees Bullpen today folks have gotten a whole lot better look at some of these stats here about Devin Williams since his debut in 2019 here are de Williams ranks among relievers with at least 200 Innings pitched erra second at 1.83 KS per nine fourth 14.3 home runs per nine Sixth and hits per nine first he is one of the truly Elite relievers in baseball and now he’s at the back end of the Yankees Bullpen this means a lot folks especially when you miss out on a guy like Juan sto and it doesn’t go your way you got to start thinking what are the things that we can do to make this club better what can we do to uh you know do things that we didn’t do good the previous year adding this type of piece to your Bullpen does that getting better defense does that better base running does that I think the Yankees are on their way to doing all of that now this deal is a regular Brian Cashman style deal where it comes out of nowhere and the Yankees have had interest in Devon Williams before they they’ve been a little bit of minor connections but this is a big big move and I don’t want people to kind of fumble the ball here with this one to truly understand how big of a move this is it is a huge move for the Yankees he now gets the pair with uh Luke Weaver who was phenomenal he was an amazing find by the Yankees really turned the Yankee season around last year when the Yankees decided to go from clay Holmes take him out of that rotation and go ahead and put in Luke Weaver he ran with it and he was phenomenal Luke Weaver was great but now you had Allstar Elite closer Devin Williams and yeah I get you know he’s had some issues in the postseason and so on and so forth fourth I understand that but this is a major addition to the Yankees their regular season uh Team of course to what what the team’s Dynamic could be going forward into the postseason and we knew trades were on the way I ain’t going to front with you I didn’t expect this one to break out of nowhere but it does Yankees are talking about Cody Bellinger Yankees are talking about Kyle Tucker folks all this means is that there’s more on the way we have wanted an active Yankees off season for a while and ladies and gentlemen we are going to get it if anybody else thinks that well maybe they got him they kind of tail away no they ain’t tailing the away that’s why Max freed made sense I told you guys that because you can then trade pitching and they still got pitching to deal big sexy Yankee says Durban gone this means Alex bregman is a possibility well if you believe the rumors out there the rumors have always been that the Yankees are apparently involved in Alex bregman I’ll be honest with you I don’t I never really believed it I still don’t believe it but could this open that door sure sure this could definitely open that door for the Yankees to do that d uh Caleb Durban was projected to be the Yankee second baseman that was the one name they had that everybody was talking about you can get a third baseman move jazz over to second base and really restructure your entire infield alignment and that could make the Yankees a whole lot better so very very interesting um Herer would be amazing I don’t think there’s been any indication right now that the Chicago Cubs will look to trade him but wow that would be absolutely phenomenal I do believe that again the Yankees are going to have a lot more moves up their sleeves man I don’t think I I don’t think this is uh like I said this is definitely not a oneand done um I would not be shocked if another move happens tonight that wouldn’t surprise me one bit but you go ahead and take a look at some more stuff here regarding new Yankee closer Devin Williams you look at those numbers man I mean the numbers are phenomenal here’s a guy with one of I mean the Yankees love this already he has one of the best change up in the game his change up is phenomenal he does walk batters that is a common thing especially uh when a guy throws change UPS I mean change UPS sometimes they’re hard to to locate when you have a good change up reminder it’s usually out of the Zone that’s when your change up is going well when your change Up’s up in the zone that’s usually when your change up is going to be damaging and it’s going to be trouble but 60 in 60 and two3 innings in 2022 96 strikeout outs 58 and 23 innings in 2023 87 strikeouts last year 21 and 23 Innings 38 strikeouts that was also because um he had the back injury that he missed the beginning of the year the beginning of the year with but again only 30 years old he will be a free agent after this season Yankees are not taking on really any salary uh there was a report out there that the Yankees are sending money we don’t know how much that is but with Nester Cortez being in the deal it’s basically a swap I mean and and that is Major for the Yankees but this really does set them up to be in a position here to just add so much more uh it adds so much more to this club now again man I don’t know how the Yankees do it I I don’t know because if pizza manetti was the GM you could just about say bye to everybody I’m sorry uh you still got money you haven’t added any money you still got Walker buer out there you still got all these moves out there I’d be wheeling and dealing like a son of a gun let me tell you right now Justin says forget Tucker and noise go package a deal centering with heel and Jones and get us Julio rodrig come on Brother come on brother that team is trying to build the Mariners are trying to build the last thing they’re going to do is go ahead and make that type of trade that’s not going to happen that is definitely not what they’re going to do they’re not going to trade Julio Rodriguez but look man Tucker’s there you guys know how I feel Lou Hill is supposed to be in that deal make the move baby um ERS out there it looks like you know the only rumor we’ve heard is Will Warren and a few others but the Yankees didn’t really lose much in this trade apparently somebody earlier in this chat said that a lot of people are saying that this is an overpay and I’m sitting there going you know Nester Cortez is a good starter that’s going to be good for the Brewers I get that I understand that um but I’m looking around going and overpay for what exactly like Nester didn’t have a spot in the rotation and I get it he’s he was good for the Yankees last year I understand that um Caleb Durban we never got to see him no disrespect to Caleb dur he was projected to potentially be our second baseman if not a utility player the Yankees are now they didn’t lose here because they’re not hurting for anything if the Yankees didn’t have a surplus of starting pitching you could say that’s kind of tough cuz Nester was solid Dominguez is not in this deal Spencer Jones is not in this deal will Warren Chase Hampton Brock Selvage that’s the first thing I thought about was can we know what this deal is people always want to find some sort of negatives like a lot of people immediately go into the postseason I get it I get it he’s had concerns in the postseason fine can we [ __ ] be happy right now with what we’re getting to see he is one of the best closes in the game if not no doubt about it top three you have your preference Devin Williams The Last Airbender is a phenomenal addition to this club he is a phenomenal piece of this team and then thank you Capone that’s a great point if you can sit there and go Emmanuel class is the best well he wasn’t too cute in the postseason was he he couldn’t get the Yankees out to save his [ __ ] life so at the end of the day if you’re gonna [ __ ] and moan and complain about oh my God the postseason I’m sorry man this ain’t the this ain’t the time nor the space we’ll see what happens when we get there but we got a whole season to play at the end of the day Brian cashman’s job is not to worry about the postseason his job is to put the best team on the field going into the postseason and to me that is a very very very logical smart good baseball trade because I feel both teams win those are the best Baseball trades when both teams win and that is exactly what we got to see right here both teams won Nester goes the the the Milwaukee Brewers get a solid starter inesta Cortez and maybe they get a starting infielder if not worst case scenario is they get a solid bench piece the Yankees get one year of Devin Williams who is one of the best closers in Major League Baseball this is a strong deal this is a smart deal and I’m all for it if this was bad I’d be happy to talk about it and say I don’t like it I love this I’ve been a Devin Williams guy for a while again that’s why I love YouTube I got videos out there regarding Devin Williams I I like this move a lot man now doesn’t end here for the Yankees they got a chance to really grow from this even more now again is the time because Brian Cashman has a chance to do something I did not think was possible I did not think it would be possible for Brian Cashman of all people no disrespect no knocking but there’s been a love and haate relationship with Brian Cashman among Yankee fans for quite some time for quite some time for him to go out now and maybe maybe add a big bat or two holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] sign me up for Cody Bellinger Nico her potentially I know that hasn’t really been the rumor but you never know if it’s possible trade him away Brian trade him away make guys available brother let’s get it done uh Yanks fan 84 says does this mean that Canley is gone I can see the Yankees still maybe bringing him back on a cheaper deal but there was rumors that kley had multiple teams after him so maybe not maybe he will be gone um but he’s very familiar with the Yankees so wouldn’t shock me if they bring him back Plan B is looking to be better than the plan if they lock these moves in I am not gonna say a bad word about Brian Cashman all fraking year because that is the work of a magician that would be the work of a magician it’s that simple but this isn’t it man we know we need offense yeah the pitching looking better completely understand um I know some people are now concerned um that there is a possibility that maybe just maybe the New York Yankees will bring back glaber Torres I think there’s a low chance of that happening still I don’t see glab BR Tores coming back to the Yankees I really don’t unknown soldiers said should we be concerned about Will back injury well he came back pretty strong from it last year um I believe I don’t want to be wrong about this but I think it was a back surgery that he had uh that he missed the beginning of last year and he came back and was phenomenal I I mean he came back and he was absolutely phenomenal you look at the numbers he was terrific he was terrific um the Yankees do need a lefty out of their Bullpen just a reminder Tim Hill is a free agent so they still got work to do um regarding that but man I I am even more excited now or it could have been a back fracture it was something along those lines I don’t know if it was surgery fracture it was definitely something there that took him time off due to his back but he came back and he was so freaking good I mean again you saw the numbers I’ll throw him up here again uh the numbers overall last year for the 2024 year a one25 ra and 21 Innings 38 strikeouts 097 whip mind you his career whip is 1.02 this is a really really good player um who do we got here cjet says fearing we might just roll with Waldo at second base Third Base guys um let me just let me just clarify something here that’s not going to be the case I don’t know if you guys are kind of recognizing this here but the Yankees seem kind of pissed off I I I think Brian Cashman and Co are a little bit pissed I think they’re a little bit pissed truly I think there’s a little bit of anger among the New York yanies right now and they’re and they’re pushing and working on getting a lot of this stuff done I I really do I think this is a team that’s a little frustrated I think this is a team that feels disrespected let’s not forget what the Dodgers said about him all after the World Series it was punch punch punch I I think the New York Yankees are looking around going we’re we’re a laughing stock you got everybody [ __ ] taking shots at us you better we got to wake up now enough is enough we got to stop doing this uh if glaber could get his head out of his ass I wouldn’t mind having him back on a one-year Pro it deal wouldn’t Shock Me definitely not my number one move um to bring glabber Torres back I I really almost want the Yankees to have a significant difference among this club um I really want them to have a lot of new faces I think it’s called for it I I think it makes sense for them to do that have some new faces on this club look a little different feel a little different you know upgrade where you were bad last year defense fundamentals uh upgrade in those areas again I don’t know if the Yanke is going to attack the free agent Market you got Santan D there there um apparently they’ve had interest in uh Alex bregman I don’t know how much of that I believe I guess we got to wait and see but Alex bregman third you move jazz the second I’m not the biggest fan of it but like I said before if they did that I wouldn’t be mad because defense is surely better they still need a first baseman we know Cody Bellinger is a gold glove level first baseman Kyle Tucker is a very good def defensive outfielder both of those guys good base runners guys that can steal bags there’s a lot of good here man this is a very very good baseball trade remember no salary was it really added here the Yankees are in the same position they were before basically little bit different structure on the roster but in a very very good place uh concern Reed Tucker less surplus of pitching now well Seth I disagree let me tell you why I disagree I I almost want to say Nester Cortez or Marcus strowman really were never were after the Yankees got freed they weren’t really in the plans so I I don’t see I I understand the narrative that you can’t give up pitching now because you lost Nester well when I was talking about if you traded Lou heel let’s say you brought in the Walker buer my understanding was you still trade Nester and Marcus strowman so I don’t feel like this really has um anything to do with that I I kind of just feel like this is the same the same thing as it was before and ladies and gentlemen we are 10 subbies away from 40,200 let’s keep it going went on Facebook and saw the news and went running the YouTube for NYU coverage you the man brother you know that you got it for you baby nobody else like this nobody like the you baby we cover it like nobody’s business baby oh I’m excited right now folks I am very excited uh let’s see is this uh is this updated let’s take a listen let’s take a listen to this hold on end of the year the end of the season Dro lead us off all right Devin Williams pack your stuff we’re not staying in Milwaukee yourself and I think Luke Weaver are going to be in that Yankee Bullpen absolute bullets to the yank wow listen to Dro Dro predicted this so trade predictions from day three of the winter meetings that was on the 11th that was two days ago good job by Dro I thought it was news it was just Dro predicting that Devin Williams would be a New York Yankee and there you have it he is a New York Yankee um Mark Healey who is a Mets beat writer I want to say am I correct uh I thought he maybe did the Mets maybe he doesn’t he says hard to believe all Brewers could get for All-Star closer was infield Prospect not in the top 30 Prospect and a starting pitcher was a free agent at the end of the season um so apparently a lot of uh a lot of confusion on how it took I guess they’re saying so little for the Yankees to land Devin Williams I don’t know man I just think this is a very good trade for both teams I you know I know people want to you know find your problems and your concerns but I feel like this is a really good trade for both clubs and now we just got to see what the next moves are here for the New York Yankees uh I I think it’s it’s an interesting time um the Yankees I think are in a very good place and we’re gonna we’re going to find out very soon what else the Yankees got at their sleeve but maybe Brian Cashman is working some other moves also that we can’t project or can’t see exactly happening kind of like this one that came out of fraking nowhere uh Tim says does glaber come back I don’t think so um I and I and look not a disrespect on glabber Torres when Aaron Boon sat him down and benched him glabber Torres looked like a better player um but but for me I want to move on I think it’s time for the Yankees to move on I think that ship has sailed um I think you got better options out there uh via trade via free agency um I think it’s just time to move on uh but wait uh we let Durban go yes so Caleb Durban and scenario everybody knows my dream scenario is very very simple uh I love this right here this is fire I don’t know if France has made this or what but this is absolutely fire fire fire whoever made sitting around going what’s the move what’s the plan what do they do and to be fair I said in 48 hours they got to get freed because that’s the only thing that makes sense allow your starting pitching to be TR Tred that’s an asset for you and the Yankees hit the [ __ ] nail on the head and they got the guy they needed ladies and gentlemen we got a thousand plus in here like share and subscribe to Yankees like a player for years never count the Yankees out on said player the Yankees have liked Devin uh excuse me Tanner Scott for years years now they have been big Tanner Scott guys going back to his Baltimore Orioles days when he had no command whatsoever but just had a great fast ball but they have loved him for a long time and there you see the man Tanner Scott wow he has become one of the more dominating pitchers in all of major league baseball hitting free agency at an unbelievable time you see last year 72 Innings pitched 84 strikeouts K numbers were down a little bit from 2023 but a 175 erra now he may be looking at this as I want to be a closer it’s kind of what I’ve done the last two years and I’ve been effective at it last three years you can make an argument with a couple of teams but here’s a guy who’s gonna get paid Tanner Scott is gonna get some money I could tell you right now he is going to get a lot of money and I could see the Yankees if some other things don’t work out or they make some moves with they’re not adding a lot of salary and they go hey look we’ve needed that Lefty let’s bear down here let’s bear down here what are options for second base second base is a weird position onel Z zerpa would be amazing um there’s rumors he’s available via trade for Kansas City onel zerpa I take that one too um second base is a is a it’s a bit of a tough position there man um you know the luckily for the Yankees they have a third baseman who could play seconds so it opens up third base to free other free agents Alex bregman is there nobody’s gonna like the sound of this but they’ve been interested in him before so I always say it yon monata is still out there and the Yankees have liked them for a long time Louis arise is a potential trade they got jbit Vivas still in Triple A oswal perza in triaa D they go to either one of those guys’ names to be honest but there’s some um there’s some names out there you got your trade possibilities Yankees are talking to the Cubs a lot about Bellinger maybe that deal is expanded if the Yankees lose out on Tucker they go hey is there any way we could expand this deal to include Nico Herer even if we got to pay a little more then you got an amazing infield a brand new looking infield um there’s a lot but I will say this I think the Yankees obviously need a um infielder potentially two infielders and an outfielder you could look at you know first base you got Walker’s a free agent you have um Carlos Santana is a free agent we know Bellinger there second base is a little tough cuz there’s not as many options at second base but in the Outfield you do have options Anthony Santan de still out there tasa Hernandez is still out there if they’re going to go free agency route but I think the Yankees are still shaping up for trades also don’t don’t count out another starter to the Yankees I think Walker buer is still a name to pay a lot of attention to I don’t know how many I know originally the rumor out there was he was looking for a one-year deal and then it went from a oneyear deal to potentially he wants two guaranteed I can tell you guys this right now I would lock in Walker buer immediately on on a two-year deal um Let me let me throw a poll out there let’s see let’s see what’s a what’s a good poll to go out there um let me think I’ll put some polls in here as I think of one the one I was going to do ah wasn’t too what well well uh thought out there still have to get rid of Marcus strowman $18 million look man there’s not a lot of some of these starters fall off the board Marcus strowman is going to look more and more attractive you do not have to rush that move uh Brian Cashman easily has that move locked in whenever he wants to do it you do not have to rush that move man that is very very easy to get done the Yankees could honestly take their sweet ass time sit back relax and make that move whenever they need to um so not a big deal there for the Yankees but again folks you should be very very happy right now if you’re a Yankee fan you should be very very excited um a lot of good things are coming this team’s way and this is a little update if there’s any Milwaukee fans in here I don’t know if there is but here’s a little insight to Caleb Durban Caleb Durban has a unique profile he’s only 5 foot6 but plays everywhere and has incredible batto ball skills in 1,216 Moder League plate appearan s/ 269 374 407 with 134 walks and only 111 strikeouts with 110 stolen bases a high floor guy for the Milwaukee Brewers so really really interesting um when it comes to Caleb Durban going over there to see what he does a lot of people compare him to Jose Altuve but I always say ease up on those Altuve is a Hall of Famer he’s a Hall of Fame player so you got to be careful with that but Yankees Bullpen get a whole lot better today and things are looking up past SoDo man post SoDo things are looking up for the Yankees I I almost want to say I never would have would have believed it it’s not over yet um at all we still got to add some offense and we’ll see what happens man we’ll see what happens but I’m really Weaver to Williams is a crazy combination and they’re different pitchers very different styles let’s remember that man you got a you got a guy like Luke Weaver who was hitting 9697 has a phenomenal cutter great change up but he throws very hard then you got a guy like Devin Williams who is just an airbender that’s what he is an air air bender and he’s filthy and as clouds just says I need Lea good to stay healthy exactly that’s another move they’ve added two guys to that Bullpen yeah we need a lefty there’s no denying that that could possibly come via trade too I mean there are some options out there um and guys again underestimating that move he’s not Carlos rhon in the in the in the idea that he just has to strike batters out he’s a pitcher this guy got seven pitches really good um uh what’s the other one um uh Devin Williams today is really good really good now all you need man if they could pull off Kyle Tucker holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] and I’ve shown this a lot and people laugh at me if well Caleb durban’s no longer on here but let me throw let me throw this out there to you guys if they could somehow figure this out now Caleb Durban is no longer at second base so you could just delete that they’ll need a second base and we know that can you imagine you get Tucker and Bellinger I know this sounds like a far cry right but I’m at the point right now where if I was the GM if I was the GM folks I am giving any [ __ ] thing anything how could you not what you know we got a joke over here at the U we got a joke at NYU Pete D Browski ladies and gentlemen you couldn’t get me off the telephone right
