we have some breaking news regarding Anthony stallers following his injury initial report surfaced that the injury was not severe but a brand new report has dropped revealing that he is going to be out for a long period of time we’re going to break down the exact report and discuss what the actual injury is as news continues to flood but before we into a quick reminder hit that subscribe button afternoon surrounding some other things regarding the leav because Lots going on but 5 minutes ago as of the time of recording here five or 10 minutes ago Anthony solar is uh he’s going to be gone for a while in a shocking turn of events and I mentioned it on the videos over the past few days in the live streams that you never know if the Tonto May police they’ll say something isn’t severe we saw it with Matthews we saw it with Jake McCay but now we’re seeing it with Anthony stolar to a very bad degree if you want to say that and we’re going to dive into The Replacements like you can see here but I want to start with this it just dropped Darius Brad let me gave an update MRI came back and revealed no structural damage which is good he will undergo a procedur a loose body within his knee he explains that it looks like a little Pebble timeline of four to 6 weeks for Anthony Stoler so he’s out until the very earliest mid January again we’ll have a video later today with further updates on this as well as some moves but this is um this is pretty devastating he’s been arguably a top three goalie in the NHL this season I’ve been gassing him up the whole year you have too he’s been phenomenal he’s been a huge part of why the Leafs have been so good and now he’s out for the foreseeable future this is tough and not even arguably statistically he’s been one of the best goool Tenders in the NHL this year and I personally you know one thing is for sure I am never going to believe the Leafs again when it’s day to-day there is no chance it’s been what what is this three four times so far this season dayto day has turned into week to week and it’s looking like month to month at this point and for those of you who are you know keeping track in terms of how long he’s going to be out looks like he’s going to miss somewhere in the area of 14 to 19 games at this point that is tough especially when uh you know we just saw Dennis be and what he did on Sunday that was looking rough as well he’s got to get it together down the stretch here cuz it looks like it’s going to be him and Joseph wall but maybe the Leafs could have some other plans as well and Joseph wall has been playing great as well so obviously the Leafs this is why they went out and got Anthony stolar to have some insurance in that for reasons like this but that is tough news there is good news in all of this that there is no structural damage obviously that that’s what they were looking for on the MRI so that is good obviously he could have been a longer term if that was the case but um you know this procedure is going to keep him out for quite a while so we might not see Anthony Stars until February at this point it’s looking like it could be you know mid January to February that is tough and in the middle of the busiest month of the season this is news that the Toronto Maple Le did not need yeah and let’s keep in mind it’s December so they have at least I think we two um back-to-backs over the next you know couple weeks here so they’re going to have a lot of decisions to make surrounding Dennis hild Toby maybe they go down and which will dive into a different goalie maybe they make a trade for a goalie at this point the way to Le some going there’s a lot of different ways to go about it Joseph wall we’re going to dive into him here but again he set to have a procedure done on his knee tomorrow in New York and is week to week and I think it’s uh it’s it’s pretty devastating because of how many games they’re actually playing if this would have happened last month you obviously never want to see an injury but if this would have happened last month in the month in November when they barely played he would have missed probably half the games that he’s going to miss now because of how brutal the schedule is and will continue to be for the next really month or so and you mentioned it I mean they say the injury is dayto day they say all these things and in the moment we said I’m a little bit concerned but I think he’ll be fine it was literally in yesterday’s video they came out and they were he was you know he wasn’t on the ice skating but all signs are pointed to him starting as soon as I believe Friday’s game and then this just comes out out of nowhere from Brad J living a little Pebble in his knee so something to do with you know a loose body within his knee which is not something we expected but now you look at his stats this year again he’s nine wins in 17 games an unbelievable 2.15 goals against average and a 927 save percentage like he’s having such a good year here and even if there’s no structural damage and he’ll come back fully healthy he was on an absolute tear he was on a roll and to see him thrown out of the at the very least thrown out of his rhythm here as we head into the uh you know the month of January into February it’s a little bit concerning you hope that he’ll be able to sustain and come back and do what he was doing for the first you know quarter of the Season here that’s another thing I was thinking hopefully he can come back and keep uh his rhythm like get back into Rhythm because he’s going to be out quite a while and he had a hard a hot start to the season season and has continued that to this point and he’s been getting into a lot of games obviously they played him back toback when he got hurt last week and he’s been playing almost every other game so he’s getting into this great Rhythm and he’s continued his Stellar play obviously we wanted to see how he would handle a much more intense workload and I think it’s been pretty good to this point obviously this just happened so this is not good news but in terms of uh goal tending he’s been fantastic at 927 on the season I mean that’s more than I think any fan would have thought and more than the least I think were asking for at that point I I think they were looking for just above uh League average goal tending they have way better than that at this point so this is really tough for not only Anthony stars but the Leafs they’re going to have to weather the storm a little bit here because there’s going to be games where Joseph wall is not going to play and it’s going to be Dennis hild Toby and my confidence in Dennis hild Toby so far this season has gone down a little bit I’m not going to lie with his last couple starts um especially the last start in the way that that started so he’s going to have to settle in here and we’ll see what we have in him and you know one thing that hasn’t been talked about either there’s actium off right he’s been really good with the Marley’s and we have some of the stats as well um you know so far this season and hild Toby hasn’t really been hild Toby this this year has been a weird case so um akimov has been really good so maybe they just keep him down there he gets more starts that’s great for him maybe they toy around with Matt Murray coming up right we don’t know exactly what they’re planning I think the plans are about to change anyway with this news coming out this morning so it’s going to be interesting Matt Murray’s also dealing with a bit of an injury so we’ll see what the plan is but acum is another option too if he’s really hot in the AHL and Dennis hild Toby is you know struggling maybe you toy around with something like that cuz you have a lot of time here it’s going to be 14 to 19 games which is really tough so it’s going to be interesting to see what the Leafs do here but I would imagine it’s probably just going to be Joseph wall and hild Toby but hild Toby has to bring his play up to another level yeah he’s still super young you can see xmov and Dennis HBY are both 23 at the very least I’d say they’re probably going to keep act tmov down let him continue to get reps he’s been very good this season 11 games you see here 911 saber so is Matt Murray in his seven games albeit he is you know 30 years old I think if he’s healthy and ready to go there’s a case he made for the leaf to call him up bit more NHL experience and you’ll probably get more consistent play out of a guy like Matt Murray compared to Dennis HBY where one night he could be one period even he could be phenomenal and then one period he could also be we saw in the last game he went from really rough to a solid second and specifically third period there but it uh it opens up a lot of questions and least say day to-day say goodby because you’re not going to see that dude for a month and it’s a very good point there by Steve angle because they’re at the point now where they need to and specifically Dennis HBY needs to step up and you can see this here solar is before this injury Praise Him said for such a big guy moves extremely well once he starts getting that experience I think he’s going to be a great goalie in this league thinking back to where I was at that age I don’t think I was as crisp as him they’re both really tall goalies similar play Styles similar you know structures physically and now it’s going to be up to him we’ve been clamoring for it people were saying he was going to be our goalie of the future and now it’s up to Dennis hild Toby to actually prove that he’s going to have probably you know seven six or seven games maybe even more than that over the next you know 15 to 20 games here while stolar is out at the very least to prove that he is an NHL caliber goaler will be and it’s the final chance for him any final thoughts on this just brutal news and I mean it’s shocking quite frankly no one expected this it’s a great opportunity for Dennis Hill to be here right this is bad news for the Toronto May Poli especially in The Bu the busiest month of the season right in the middle of it and heading into the new year that’s absolutely horrible it’s tough but this is a great opportunity for Dennis Hill to be great opportunity for Joseph wall he’s going to play more as well cuz I don’t think they’re going to they’re not going to do the back and forth thing like most starts if possible are probably going to go to Joseph wall like I’d imagine Joseph will play Wednesday and Friday so um Dennis hild Toby it’s a great opportunity for him show us what you got he had a great season with the Marley’s last year let’s get back to that level of play because he has been shaky to start the season this year and especially in that last start although he did settle down a little bit but we need to see you you know play a full 60 minutes so uh I think that he has it in him and I think that the Leafs have great great goal tending depth as well if they need you know if they need be uh go get Matt Murray as well right from the Marley’s maybe they call him up if it gets to that point but for the time being I think it’s going to be Dennis hild Toby so should be interesting to watch but this is tough this is not the news that I wanted to hear I was really hoping that it was day today yeah let us know down below what your thoughts
