all right it’s Bill here and here’s my thoughts on a 63 win for the Islanders over the Toronto Maple Leafs for 3 weeks I’ve been watching the Leafs win the majority of the games the last Leaf game where the Leafs played well because I know you got your little comments that I’m an idiot and I’m a negative and you know I’ve got words for you you you don’t watch games so just look at the scoreboard and pretend that you didn’t even watch the game you do that it’s awesome probably not my channel that you want to listen to okay but anyways since it was a Saturday three weeks ago against the Tampa Bay Lightning where I actually watched the Leafs play and thought they played well for three weeks they have played like horse crap and guess what they played like tonight horse crap now tonight was special tonight was very very special because last night I heard about how great the third line was there’s these idiots on sportset and and your FAN 590 and in your TSN that don’t watch any hockey games and they Yip and they Yap about how great the third line is because they look at a score sheet and go wow Robertson scored a goal DOI scored a goal McMahon scored a goal they must have played awesome meanwhile if you listen to me and you watch the game they were an equal opportunity third line well tonight were not equal opportunity they were one way and it wasn’t the positive way they’re on the negative side someone made a commentable manah being the best plus minus he was on the I for four goals for the Islanders he did score one at the end whoop ddoo that’s a minus three played in the Masters and you got like a you know you’re you’re on the last run of the Masters you know good old 69 on par 72 that’s a hell of a score minus three in hockey sucks there’s been how many goals scored in the last game the third line was on for the majority of them take away the empty net Okay the third line stinks McMahon I like McMahon as a player I do I do like him I like DOI as a player he’s not a center Do’s Robertson is not an we’ve had enough I’ve had enough had enough first goal scored by some guy from the KHL rookie we’re do a Sergey marov CER cder trophy Maxim to splack off I can’t say that name watch the play the third line sitting around DOI as a centerman has no idea what the position of a centerman is the Islanders so the the Leafs always stink against the Islanders you want to know why because the Islanders work hard on the boards and they win battles they won a lot of battles and Robertson just watches the guy go to the net one hand on the stick DOI on the wrong side of the ice you had four guys the leaves four players around by the way Morgan Riley an absolute dumpster fire we’ll get into him on the second goal the first goal everyone watching the puck and this black off guy goes in Bull Horvat a hardworking player throws it over fr the net boom it’s one nothing it what is it not even two minutes into the game this third line doesn’t know how to play defensive hockey they they get H I don’t want to talk you got you can’t have this third line you can’t it’s just an all horrible now Bill Bill I thought third line played awesome against Buffalo shut up watch a game I’m pretty sure when brube because he changed the lines finally the C on the first line oh don’t give me yes did they miss did they miss matth tonight just wondering out of curiosity was Matthew Miss tonight or they play better with Matthews I hear a lot of dumb comments for me my opinion maybe you got a different opinion than me my opinion is the third line constituted as doy Robertson McMahon will make my eyes not fun to watch second goal Morgan Riley in a league of stupidity that is tough to describe now he’s been bad the whole team’s been bad for three weeks what they’ve been able to do is get away with eight minutes of hockey two minutes of hockey uh a period of hockey half a half a game of hockey they haven’t played 60 Minutes the last time that I actually watched the game of done wow they won and the least played well was a six or 5-3 victory over Tampa Bay and that week I think they lost to Florida like by a big score 5-1 I thought they played all right you’re going to you’re going to get from me what I see what I’ve seen for the last three weeks is some brutal hockey relying on your goalies I believe stole ours has stolen a couple wall stole a couple okay you’re playing the Buffalo Sabers and Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks you really don’t need the goal tending in that but it’s not like they blew these teams away it was close and they didn’t play much hockey the second goal okay Marner keeps it in I could get on Mitchie boy Tano for the secondary assist but I feel bad for Mitchie boy Tano having to have David Camp although David Camp made a hell of pass to nean and Morgan Riley doesn’t take the puck nor the guy and it’s a two-on one and Bo hor that buries it you could probably say wall should have had it you can’t give a two onone in a silly s the puck is not in a dangerous position and Morgan Riley instead of playing defense because he’s such a stall worth of that now yeah they finally they took Timmons off the line poor Timmons had to play with Riley tonight got a probably a couple minuses out of that what was what was uh Tim’s final minus uh Tim’s minus one okay he survived a little bit Riley with the minus two so when they broke him up Port tanov got the another minus because he got Riley holy that is just despicable defense and Bo Horvat walks and Bo Horvat had himself a night didn’t he uh walks in and uh yeah next thing you know and then William neander with a beautiful move William neander was was driving tonight although once they got the the fifth goal he he was done for the night but ivly he had a couple bad justest at the end but at the end of the night neander was Dynamite tonight thought he played really really well again I they didn’t they they got him away from tver or they had him with Taris uh and then they put Mar with Taris and I thought obv ly neander can drive a line a little bit better with camp and n and that line seemed to be doing all right they did get a goal but neander was just beautiful on this play took it to the outside backhander roof daddy makes it 2-1 so you like to think okay you’re back in the game and then uh yeah third line at it again Jake McCabe had a game now for the most part I’ve been nice to Jakey this year this game reminded me of 2023 Jake McCabe a bon head game wow I’d love to know what he was thinking when he decided to pinch like two players on one Puck and he’s pinching which gives up an odd man rush and then he does absolutely no work to get back and they pass it around and of course J is about 70 5 seconds behind the Play Jake mccab with the pinch now Jake if you’re going to pinch you might want to notice that the forward is Johnny it’s going to take him a while to get back they the other’s got to throw it around like a pass P spin around oh you want a shot you want a shot and passo gets the last whack in the net I just thinking great that’s this is like the what fifth game or 10th game in a row where I you look at the shots at the end of the first period it’s six or five or one or four I I saw bruy yipping and yapping and screaming now the other thing too I mean that place was that first period sounded like like you could you could hear a pin drop like it’s quieter than like it’s like going to church there’s no sound there’s no one going oh oh I forgot there was a guy in the lineup tonight who wasn’t in the lineup last night let me give you the Ryan Rees report are you ready zero zero zero zero one shot on that he actually had a breakaway which was hilarious in the third period shoots it off the back foot on a breakaway nice move bud and he had 11 Point 11 11 minutes 54 seconds ice time that probably explains why you know they lost why have Ryan Reeves in the lineup please someone oh if he was in the lineup Matthews would have get hurt shut up did did Ryan reefs fight tonight did he do anything to another guy says he had five hits I saw three what like what there’s no need for this guy in the lineup there’s none there abs grankin like throw grankin in he first of all he he bangs around he’s young and he he has the opportunity to put the puck in the net there’s there’s an actual chance no we throw Ryan Reeves out there to whatever he does okay you go in the second period then it was a hell of a David Camp play you get like you get five David Camp plays a year it’s it’s like you know you know the the same amount of games that like you know neander shows up in the playoff or sorry not neander Marner shows up in the playoffs David Camp makes a hell of a move over to neander 3-2 and I’m starting to think okay okay starting to bring something here they changed the lines they put M with Johnny they had everything they some things going and then third period U I don’t even know what to describe what happened I want to think if they broke down the game into how many minutes of ice time were in one per one end of the rank for the first 10 minutes I don’t think the puck ever left the Toronto Maple Leafs end they were just at working the leaves like unbelievable at work in the Leafs and the guy who gets his first goal ever Isaiah George rips a shot hits tanov in the leg again horrible defensive coverage in your end you allow a guy to pass it from one corner to a defenseman in the opposite corner that means there’s no one in the middle of the ice and who was on your third line doy Robertson and McMahon and it’s in the net 42 and then shortly after that Bo Horvat like this is how pissed poor the Leafs were defensively tonight bu Horvat on the shift 45 seconds before the goal that’s right 45 seconds because they never left the end in 45 seconds skated from one corner to the other corner to pick up a puck and Mitchie was getting over there and he went oh that’s Bo harvat I’ll pull up thanks shortly after that goes to the point and I don’t know how Bobby McMahon plays defense but taking the stick might be something you might want to do Noah Dobson basically shoots passes it and borbat tips it in for a second of the night 5-2 and then Bobby maym man scores from a nice pass by Marr 5-3 and you had four minutes there where they seemed to be they were bringing chances I think Marner might hit a post empty nck goal I I think it was barzel scored the goal for four for three weeks this team has been garbage it’s been absolute garbage you can call me negative Nelly first place second place whatever you want to do your little I will be happy when the least play good and lose I’ll be the first one to come out and tell you this if you can sit here and tell me in the last three weeks that the Leafs have played good I’m missing something I I you might know something you may way more I don’t know hockey you might know way more about hockey than me if you tell me name the game where the Leafs actually played a really solid 60 Minute game in the last three weeks I know the record is great fantastic they were awful the third line that line cannot stay together you get two games of with a couple goals who cares you can’t cover a defensive Zone you can’t put DOI on the center he’s not he doesn’t know what to do Robertson is a disaster in her own end and McMahon was kind of bright and shotgun although he was responsible for a couple he was on for four tonight I don’t know even what to say like what again mcab Riley just awful games awful this was 2023 Riley let’s talk about Riley for a second he’s been flying kind of flying under the radar about how bad defensively he is he’s been covered up so they put him with tanov when the one goal went in tanov was looking around like screaming like what are you guys doing like like what kind of what kind of defensive system is this and maybe wall didn’t make a save tonight but again you can’t hang this one a wall like you’re letting guys walk in and shoot point blank in front of the net and Nick Robinson doing this I don’t how do you solve this I don’t know I’m assuming Matthews is there for quite a while I I’m guessing it’s not just a well they said it was because of the Cross check last night give me a break now granted it would really be nice if the Tron M would let you know what the actual injury is but I can tell you it’s a wrist injury because he didn’t shoot the puck against Buffalo who do they play they play Monday I guess I don’t know they’re playing against Winnipeg I think on Monday that’s going to be tough to watch uh let’s see they play least play I should be more prepared to least play Winnipeg and then they’ve got Detroit and Washington at the end of next week they get some time off maybe that helps I don’t know but GE can we get a I don’t know what to do I don’t know the 60 Minute game that we need to play but like there’s got to be something in there work hard do something three weeks of nonsense let’s see if it goes into four weeks oh sorry I’m negative cheers
