all right it’s Bill here thoughts on a 5-2 loss in an afternoon next gen game against the Winnipeg Jets who are a good team now you’d be really surprised here a 5-2 loss I just torched the leav for a 6-3 loss against the Islanders I’ve torched the leaf for three weeks even when they win because they’ve been playing like garbage I didn’t think they were quite that bad tonight or today this afternoon whatever the day was what they weren’t horrible they just made some really really God awful mistakes and they really don’t have enough like the the key the the big players didn’t play well tonight they didn’t uh Mitch boy Tano was was equal opportunity tonight I’m glad they broke up the third line except Bobby McMahon snuck to another line where he can’t play defense forward I I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a defensive forward that is that bad Bobby McMahon and Nick Robertson they’re special like they are I’ve now determined it isn’t DOI DOI doesn’t play the position very well Center he should be a Winger but I really can’t fault DOI because that’s not his position that he usually plays he usually plays Wing but McMahon and Robertson that is some bad if you’re if you’re an AHL guy or your Nick Robertson and you’re trying to hang in the NHL and Bobby McMahon he’s I don’t think he’s played a full 80 games in the NHL I like Bobby mcmah in the offensive zone don’t get me wrong I don’t like Nick Roberts in the offensive zone because the puck just always he gets it on his stick and then it’s gone I don’t know where it goes don’t go anywhere good but Bobby McMahon in the offensive zone is is isn’t bad he’s good on the boards but his defensive Zone effort and hustle is is on a level that I I haven’t quite seen before I’m thinking like ex lefs that you know I used to lose my mind on you know Joffrey Lup would be one classic Tyler bozac when the when the 18wheeler truck was going off the cliff that man didn’t even take a stride we’ll talk about someone not taking a stride in just a second um James Van re like they mailed that in lle mailed it in Lup was so bad they sent them to roboda Island to never come back if you remember he went hiking or something and his back got hurt and then he said oh no I’m ready to go my back wasn’t hurt then LEL gave him a call and next thing you know he’s back on Rob Island and he’s hurt forever and he’s going to get paid or whatever that is Bobby my man reminds me of those guys in terms of his defensive Zone coverage it’s it’s it’s atrocious it’s not it’s terrible I Craig baru he’s supposed to be this tough coach how do you put up with that we’ll talk about that in just a sec like the goals we’ll get into that in just a sec but at the end of the day I didn’t think the Leaf’s effort was bad I didn’t think it was horrible uh can’t really blame wall on too many of those goals uh the fourth one looks like he just lost he made a great save beforehand and then his defensive people in front of the net just decided oh just just tuck it in boys we’ll just watch you do it and I don’t know what Jake mccab think he’s playing maybe he’s playing that little road hockey with your little sticks when you’re playing that in the uh hotel rooms when you’re a kid I don’t know what he was doing and Jake McCabe again was God yeah I mean it was just awful Jake McCabe you know what Jake mccab is really good when he plays with Chris tanov if he plays with anyone else not so good Jake McCabe is not a very good Jake Bobby or mcab I think he got a point tonight he should be really proud of himself what was uh I’m pretty sure he was a minus he had to be a minus like there’s no doubt I saw him on the ice for pretty much every goal that I thought minus two yeah when he was on for probably one goal four for the Leafs uh Eckman Larson I think was his partner tonight minus two David Camp our defensive offensive to Center he can’t play either was a minus two as well um yeah so we’ll get into the game and again as I said I I don’t think the least played horrible I’m not going to sit here and scream and yell about their effort I thought it’s probably the best I’ve seen them play in probably about three weeks and they still lost jets are a good team what are you going to do we’ll talk about the Jets in just a second cuz man they got a personality disorder uh but uh Kyle Conor first goal on a power play Mitch Marner had to take a penalty due to a horrible pinch and he took the penalty it was I don’t know I’m I’m sitting there watching marner’s Breakaway that got broken up but I didn’t think that was a penalty I don’t I guess the stick goes around the stick whatever I’m not going to sit here and complain about penalties but he got robbed in the second period with a great play what I thought was a great play I didn’t think mner made a horrible play but at the end of the day it’s Power Play Big rebound goes out to Conor he just rips rips it home for his 20th and he’ll get his 21st and then shley will get a hattrick which puts him to 21 so they’ve got two players of 21 goals by the end of this game anyways KY Conor buries it again I didn’t think the Le were were really bad I thought the least pretty much for maybe five or six minutes of that period looked like the better team by the way did anyone Miss Ryan or AES I don’t have a Ryan Razer port and I’m so happy I don’t do you see how the fourth line actually played pretty decently tonight like like they had chances G to do her a breakaway like see that that happens when you don’t have a an idiot we’ll talk about another like I’ll keep it to myself for now I’ll get into it when I when I have to get into it but like Ryan Reeves is about his useless as useless gets there’s I’m trying to think of what’s more useless like um you know uh buying a like $1,500 set of golf clubs when you don’t have an arms maybe that’s as useless um I I’ll come up with a better analogy I don’t know I’m just trying to come some right now um you know anyways uh it’s just useless I thought the fourth line was pretty decent in the first period they were banging mucking they were doing some good things and getting some shots and getting some chances they didn’t score but they were doing some good things anyways the second period I thought the lease came out very very flat and it showed right away andj monana uh with the secondary assist although he did get a primary assist right after this but this is the nonsense that I just this is when like you you like Mitch you like Mitch you like Mitch then he does this he’s the last man back at the blue line he tries to make a beautiful play he tried to make about 75 beautiful plays today he was 1 for 75 stop I I can’t stand it this is when he plays good teams it just stands out when he plays bad teams it looks great he gives the puck way and then emman Larson gets beat beat to the net by Connor but at the end of the day that’s a mitch boyano freaking figure skating bull crap move at the blue line which he does he used to do he did that a lot last year turnover at the blue lines used to drive me crazy last year well they did that tonight and that’s one and then that’s buried in the net two nothing now at that point the leavs have no energy they come out flat in the second period and what happens Max doy goes and finds someone one Gabe valard and fights him now I think we’re supposed to pay a guy 1.4 million a year to do that I haven’t seen this guy fight yet kiss my biceps kiss him talk about how he’s gonna hurt people Ryan Reeves drives me crazy see what Max doy did there no energy in the building they’re down to nothing and he fights a guy we’re p I don’t think we’re paying Max doy to do that I think we’re paying a certain individual who doesn’t do that who doesn’t kick wave them buy him out if you got any money throw him in the miners it’s embarrassing Max DOI now has two more fights than Ryan Rees he actually he might have three fight maybe it was a preseason game you see what DOI did there DOI did he did Reeves’s job for him you go try to get energy in the building you beat a guy up you take an extra two they the the the Le killed it off and all of a sudden they had energy that’s what you pay Reeves to do and he doesn’t do it you know if I paid someone to come over to my house and fix my goddamn furnace and they didn’t fix my furnace I wouldn’t pay them Max doy well done you did Ryan Reeves job Ryan Reeves should take his salary and give it to you cuz you just did it and the Le got a little energy and they got a little lucky on a four-minute High stick and then Mitch boy tanle passed it to the correct team he passed it to the right team and Johnny tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap one hand tap took him a year to score the goal but it went in 2-1 okay the Leafs are you know the the ice was tilted in the second period now we got some energy we got 13 what we got 15 minutes left in the second period and then it got into a grind the Lea shots on net at the end of this game were 25 that’s not horri but again I’m looking at the shots they’re not getting chances got Connor Huck in that you know you don’t have we got lucky with markstrom making a horrible misses but we’re not having solder bloom or vea or whatever the Utah guy was and you don’t have bad goal tending like Heather Buck’s good you got to get to the net and try again I didn’t think neander played very good tonight Johnny Tay got two I don’t think he played very well but again people curse me because I don’t like Johnny T I think he’s overrated beyond belief the the goal that he scored in the power play we we admit that was a nice play by nander and Marner to get him a goal like maybe me and you could have got that one cuz it took him a year to get it in the N anyways he did fire a shot home later on that was a nice shot uh when the game was over and who gives a BL anyways I’m going off should be nice to Johnny T it’s the it’s the holiday season anyways third period starts Okay the third goal Bobby McMahon I I I want to scream and yell about how horrible he is on this goal but there’s another person who’s extra special if you can find the third goal by the winipeg Jets it’s scored by Mark shley okay Kyle con got the first two Mark schley’s first one it was a hell of a pass I think it was a Gabe ardi made a nice move first of all horrible nonsense by Jake McCabe on the play I I whatever’s happening I want you to focus in on firstly Max Patch of pretty the man I timed it I freaking timed it I took out my stopwatch and I timed it he did not take a stride a stride a physical push of his foot for 11 seconds before this Puck went in the net not a stride he skated out and he Glide it around and he glided and he glided at no point did the man push off on an edge of his skate for 11 seconds I dare you to go on the ice take a couple strides and then Glide for 11 seconds and see how you feel You’ be like wow I’m slowing down like I great defensive effort packs are pretty 11 seconds the man didn’t take a stride I get it he’s old and he’s tired and he’s rusted and he’s he’s an old car out there but a goddamn effort would be nice watch it 11 seconds not a stride and bobbing McMahon yes it was a beautiful pass by valard I don’t want to take but all bobing McMahon needed to do was take like realize that that’s Mark shley sitting beside him the guy might have scored a couple goals in the NHL he might be an okay player maybe grab him maybe maybe get in front of him so he can’t tip it in instead of watching the play this is the stuff I I think Bobby McMahon is an absolutely terrible defensive forward like he’s he’s between him and Nick Robertson I I can’t decide which one’s the worst one cuz McMahon just stays right beside shley and just watches him score there you go oh I’ll watch a play Max Patcher pretty’s gliding I’ll Glide too just happened to be Max Patrick pretty was over at the red line I don’t know maybe he got stuck he got caught he saw a squirrel stare and just Glide and that was the game game breaker to me 3-1 they did score another one on a horrible Jake McCay pinch the Bobby man out to play today and they take it to the net and then Jake McCabe just watches Five Guys swatted his goalie and then he decides maybe I’ll go down and stop the puck and I don’t know what go tending technique is that that is but Jakey that’s why he didn’t play net when you were a kid okay bud stop that nonsense here’s an idea why to go hit a guy oh sorry you hit the guy after the goal went in the net Bravo that’s the time to hit them when it went in the net probably before it went in the net that’s when you might want to go hit the tap just hit my goalie as many times as I want oh wi in the net great 4-1 Mark shley scores like he won the goddamn Stanley Cup talk I say but I don’t I don’t know Shy’s got some I don’t know I guess he likes beating the trate B better in the playoff record we’ll get into the Winnipeg Jets playoff record just a second and then John Taris rips home a puck joh Jake got a freaking assist good for you Bobby or was a nice shot by Johnny T and then the leaf had a little bit of pressure but nothing to ride home about and after that Mark Schley gets his they were feeding Kyle Connor Kyle Connor to get the hattrick and then Kyle Connor made a pass to Mark Schley and Mark shley buries it and again celebrates like points so he’s won the Stanley Cup you beat the Toronto Maple Lea I guess that’s bigger I don’t I don’t know overall not a horrible effort by the trauma and beliefs not a horrible effort but again just H like disgusting defensive efforts at the wrong times this is the stuff that I thought Chief Craig strongo was going to get rid of it’s glaring it’s there can you hang any goal on Joseph wall I don’t think you can like you’re supposed to stop two-on ones and guys wide open in front of his net Tipp and pucks in the call Conor one was a rebound maybe he’s the he took him a while to get over for the rebound and then the fourth goal they just he’s allowed to be destroyed he makes a amazing save and then it was like Winnipeg wacka moole to get the puck into the net while the Leafs just sat there and watched it all right Winnipeg Jets fans let’s let’s have a chat okay Mark shley is there anything better than beating the the Tron Leafs yeah winning a Playoff round would be awesome I think you know as a leaf fan we suffered through a lot of bad playoff rounds but as Winnipeg jet it’s it’s worse there’s a worse playoff team than the Toronto Maple Leafs and it’s the Winnipeg Jets that’s crazy to me the only round that the Winnipeg Jets have won since 201718 season which I think was the first one that Matthews was there they they swept I believe uh was it Vancouver Canucks or something or it was when the Canadian division was there maybe it was the Edmonton Oilers I forget who it was and then they got swept by Montreal even even the least took Montreal to seven Montreal swept them they’ve won one round since 2017 2018 they haven’t been in the playoffs in one of those years the Leafs have been in the playoffs all of those years and won one Playoff round so you’re getting all fire up about beating the Toronto Maple Leafs you know when the Leafs beat the Winnipeg Jets I don’t recall the Leafs saying oh wow we beat the Winnipeg Jets isn’t there anything better than beating the Winnipeg Jets no there’s there’s not much there’s a lot better things for our for our Lea fan like what is this fascination with Mark shley with beating the Toronto Maple Leafs like plenty of teams have done it I’m pretty sure the Columbus Bluejack is did it this year and you’re worried about beating the Tron Maple East Mark shle and doing this and you’re acting like an idiot for beating the Toronto Maple Leaves wiip Peg you wonder why you’re going to lose in the first round this year too you got great goal tending you got a really good defense you got a good team but you’re led by that Mark shley bud you know how you embarrass the leaf when you beat them 52 don’t say a word just beat them 52 that’s way more important than throwing your finger up in the air like you’re some kind of King it’s a bad look bud it’s a bad look like I’m trying to remember where the Leafs have beat a team and they they rubbed it in their face a little bit like you don’t get that when you’ve got a playoff record like the Toronto Maple Leafs you don’t get the privilege of rubbing it in someone’s face Winnipeg take a look at your playoff record you don’t get the right to do that you won congratulations you got a great team see you in the playoffs see you when Colorado destroys you again anyways uh that’s my video I I won’t be back till after Christmas I did uh promise a darts video I’m going to do a darts video on the first two rounds if you watch there was a couple beauty games the Ricky Evans uh Dave chisnell and then there was a Johnny Clayton Mickey Mansel today that would rank to the last leg fantastic the games I will pick the round three winners and uh a lot of seeds got destroyed in darts but if you don’t care about darts don’t watch that video but if I
