so with the Pelicans last in the west it’s finally coming out that they’re open to moving some guys which like a couple weeks ago they were saying oh the Pelicans are still trying to compete this season and it’s like bro you’re five and 16 where the heck are you going and now they’re even worse and now it’s open it’s out there willing to move some guys and so we’ll get into some mock trades I made and the guys that are expected to potentially go to the Bucks not necessarily expected but we’re starting with C mome who the Bucks are in the top five for odds to land and this is the only trade that I think works salar wise and makes sense and I mean you already know what I’m going to say about this right if this were to happen I would make it my life’s mission to get John horse fired and never get another job in the world again this would be the most idiotic trade in basketball history CJ McCollum it’s not even a very good player period and he worse at literally every single thing at um as Chris Middleton is he a clutch no he’s going to step out of bounds in a big moment uh is he a good passer no he’s one of the worst ball Hogs I’ve ever seen is he as good of a shooter no he’s not um oh Chris Milton’s hurt a lot oh he’s hurt even more than Chris Milton look at that um does he defend no he doesn’t defend he doesn’t do anything very well he’s a shot chucker he’s not a winning player and he this is another reason why when people say well Chris Milton’s get getting paid all that money but he’s always always hurts he’s underpaid CJ McCollum is getting paid more than him and doesn’t do a single thing as well as him on a basketball floor does not fit with the Bucks in need do not bring the losing Duo of Dame CJ to Milwaukee I’m sorry that is a horrible trade that shouldn’t even be considered for a second and there’s really no trade that would make sense even if somehow like oh Brooke and C for CJ this money Works no and I’m like a guy that’s saying all right Brook Lopez I’m open to moving him but for CJ McCollum he gives the Bucks nothing that they need we do not want CG McCollum anywhere near this team for pretty much anything and now here’s another one Herbert for Bobby and this is one where if you’re a Pelicans fan you got to say why the heck would we do this we get older but the Bucks have a 2031 first round draft pick to where maybe this could be made happen and for the bucks we got to think about if you make this move that’s the last move you’ve got that’s the last thing that you’ve got and that is basically the core that’s going to be there probably for the remainder of yanis is prime you’re basically going to have to ride it out with Dame KY Herbert Giannis and then try and fill in the pieces around there maybe Tyler Smith develops into something but basically that’s what you’re going to have to hope for because then you’re giving up your last little trade chip in your first round draft pick and I think probably worth it I think probably so makes it so you can really play Giannis at a small ball five because then you’ve got another guy that’s um plays bigger than his size and has a massive wingspan and can help out with the issues that that might cause next to him and then you’ve got a closing lineup of Dame Giannis kidi um Herbert and then whoever else so this is a trade that makes some sense to me is definitely upgrade over Bobby and I’d give up a first round pick for herb Jones a guy that could be elite defensively can knock down an open three um I think I would make this move even though Bobby’s obviously grown on me the last week he’s still a guy that we’ve seen multiple times in big moments not come through not a guy you can rely on even though he’s a guy that at times can be very impactful um herb Jones is definitely a guy whose defense you can rely on so this is a move I’d be willing to make so overall do I think a trade’s going to happen no youall know I don’t like making mock trade videos because trades almost never happen and like most of these trades aren’t going to happen so most likely the Bucks aren’t going to make a move but the herb Jones one is one to keep an eye on and one that be interesting and a good move for the bucks CJ McCollum keep him far away from the Bucks same thing with Brandon Ingram I’ve always been a Brandon Ingram guy but for Chris Middleton no it’s again another guy that’s even more injury prone than Chris Middleton is it’s a guy that doesn’t shoot as well a guy that doesn’t defend as well a guy that doesn’t pass as well a guy that what that you’d have to build chemistry with you can’t just bring in a massive piece um and then expect to win a championship that year you could bring in like a tertiary P tertiary piece a guy that’s on the outside like a complimentary piece like a herb Jones we’ve seen teams make deep playoff runs making move at the deadline for a guy like that but bringing in like a star player that you then have to ingratiate and find a way to make fit like uh Brandon Ingram and CJ mccom is definitely not a star but a shot chucker like that try to make that work no shot um so th% uh I will do everything in my power to get John horse fired and boycott this franchise if they traded for CJ McCollum but the herb Jones trade is the one that’s interesting it’s it’s one that I would like so I’m not sure if the Pelicans would even do it for just one first round pick so I don’t think it’s going to happen but definitely one to look out for as Bobby seems to be getting that trade value up maybe he’s actually worth a little
