maybe sometimes loudly taken care of business in all of their first five games now they get a Mississippi team that is old that has physicality that takes care of the basketball that forces turnovers defensively that has a coach that can really coach basketball among other things uh what do we expect here from BYU uh first off I’d like to acknowledge that BYU schedule is so bad that we are up we are up in Adam jumping around clapping our hands at them playing their first real opponent Who currently sits at number 50 on Kemp pom and opponent that almost lost to Grambling State at home an opponent that struggled with South Alabama um and okay they did blow out some other opponents but like this is you know BYU is 20 spots higher than Old Miss on K on kmom they are playing at home I will say this and watching Old Miss last season they were a team that was really good at home like they they were a team that was able to feed off that environment play really well at home they are old they have some athletes it’s a it’s a very intriguing matchup for BYU and obviously a very massive Step Up Love play the love playing this game though a lot of BYU players I’m taking before Old Miss players name them actually actually maybe only two who we talking about you’re taking jagor and Canon yeah actually not this is why we do this exercise I might go Matt Morell next yeah I mean well miss has good play players so does BYU though like trayor is in the top five I think for me what about like Nell and those guys I could probably leave them they’re good role players but I think G Miss has a lot of good role players yeah I I just think that a BYU team that you know is a top 25 offense going up against an Old Miss team that necessarily doesn’t grade out the best defensively like they’re not awful but like they’re no like shutdown yeah yeah okay it’s an interesting uh just an interesting matchup in a variety of ways the the number one thing that I’m looking at is who wins the turnover battle both these teams are pretty stellar at this uh BYU turns teams over at the 27th most rate highest rate in the country they also take care of the basketball at the same rate 27th best in the country uh Old Miss is even more Elite they’re top five in both they’re second at taking care of the basketball they’re fourth en forcing turnovers so strength on strength there miss is just a little more Elite than BYU is um BYU is going to have to make up for that in other areas where they normally just like win The Possession battle they’re going to have to win this game in other facets one of them they could is two-point range BYU is first in the country they should 67% from inside the arc Miss does not have a top 100 two-point defense when you do look at the ol Miss Roster cart um there’s a lot of good here not really a rim protector that I trust right like m Brown Jones Jam breakefield Malik Dia are not guys that like super scare me if I’m BYU inside you know right no they can definitely give also I want to go hand up this game’s in San Diego it’s a neutral sight game that’s on me um is this the tournament where BYU wins this game they could play Purdue I don’t remember huh okay I need to look that up that’s massive going forward uh but I think jagor being special jagor being able to take care of the ball in this basketball game will be massive like you said with the turnover over battle and if it does come down to that I very much I I very much Believe by can win this basketball game they’re shooting like 67% at The Rim like you mentioned so like no shot blockers if they want to they can get whatever they want at The Rim uh and this could be a game where BYU could have their way inside the arc um now obviously they want to shoot a lot of Threes And they will shoot a lot of Threes uh but I think some back ofth mind attack things should be that they want to get at The Rim a lot oh man yeah yeah that just made me sneeze yeah that a sign that was Sneezy that was very Sneezy um what do they need from yor in this game well obviously every game you need him to be the best player on the floor I don’t think that’s that hard for him um but I think distribution will be key for him I might be more more like I want him to be like you did the we do the whole like would you rather him have 25 points or 13 assists I think i’ rather him 13 assists in this game okay I could see that moving the ball around making the old old Miss Defense work um you know I I don’t see that I want 30 from him you want 30 I want him to set the tone that like hey fellas guess what we’re playing a great opponent and I’m here I got y’all yeah I don’t want Trevon Nell and D Hall to decide where BYU season goes I respect that I want Joor to step foot on this and just like like kind of like he did in the early games this year he had 18 and 20 the first two games it was just like whoa this dude’s aggressive he’s unguardable like shot Seven threes his first game in college made four of them go be the lottery pick just go go dominate a game against an Old Miss team uh it does warrant BYU has a lot of similarities to Ill Illinois from as sparis and jagor down to how they play how they shoot how many threes they how much they run um all that Miss destroyed Illinois similar archetype team in BYU similar caliber team in BYU does that scare you at all no because of jagor if that’s okay to say because jagor is an upgrade that’s the difference Illinois didn’t have jagor in the scrimmage yeah allows that to happen interesting okay we’ll see the cpom line for this game is BYU by three on the neutral Court who you got I like BYU to win the game I’m gonna go BYU actually I’m g go BYU 84 to 70 I think they win comfortably I think it’s close I think it comes down to the
