good evening a little bit tissue on my face there good start there Stephen well done been blowing my nose from a Christmas cold how you doing guys welcome back to another video uh a post Christmas video uh a happy Stephen soon to be a sad Steven after tomorrow’s game probably would being honest um City versus Leicester Leicester tomorrow at the King Power Stadium uh I am yeah look I’m looking forward to simply because I’ve had a good Christmas and I look forward to City playing pretty much every single time even if the moment results suggest I should be looking forward to it I can’t help but enjoy it um but I am nervous about the game tomorrow I absolutely am uh I hope you’re well if you’re watching this I hope you had a nice Christmas if you celebrated it um we did Reuben enjoyed Reuben got Christmas for the first time he was very excited about Santa uh about the minc pie and the carrot and the milk left out for him as well um which was very tasty I heard allegedly from Santa uh we we had a great time uh and I’m I’m in a really good mood looking forward to football being back after a 4 day break basically over over Christmas and I really enjoyed it I had a lovely time and I’m very much looking forward to tomorrow too and I hope you guys did uh as well hello to everyone in the chat as well yes sorry up justess about the five things learned I didn’t do one after the game the other day because I was too busy getting ready for Christmas because it was Christmas Eve um I missed him once or twice recently but I’ve been a bit under the weather Winter’s just hit me hard and been trying to Capt up with sleep and stuff with Reuben not sleeping uh and quick Sila uh I I vaguely I can’t remember what the comment exactly was but I I vaguely remember falling out so thank you for the apology it’s genuinely appreciated um takes a big person to apologize always so but anyway City Leicester tomorrow at the King Power Stadium typically a stadium that we haven’t really had much joy at the King Power Stadium if we’re being honest and we go there off the back of a running results and let’s bring them up uh just for posterity really I think we probably need to look at this this fixture list that we’ve gone through just to add the color it’s painful to look at but it all started where did it start it started at Tottenham away of course it started at Tottenham of course it started Tottenham back in October that was the end of October by the way it feels it’s going to been going on for a lot longer than that does it it really really does um so it started in the caribo cup we went out that time then Bournemouth then sporting then Brighton then Spurs then we had the obviously the draw in fire which felt like a loss but it was losses until we got a draw then Liverpool beat us then we actually beat Forest but that was Now 1 2 3 4 five games ago since then we’ve had a couple of draws and we’ve had three losses as well Juventus United and Aston Villa um what I would say is that even though we’ve been poor as you look at those results back there’s only been a goal in it pretty much apart from Juventus um there’s been draws and one goal either side we haven’t deserved a winning any of them I would argue but uh we we’ve got to go through it OJ man we’ve got to go through it yeah yeah we have to we have to know what’s been going on to to point out where we’re going and I guess this is probably I’m showing this for a reason to show the context of this video and probably why a lot of people don’t feel confident like now I can only be honest I’m I’m a reasonably optimistic person and I I I I find it hard to imagine that this slide won’t end at some point like I don’t know when that will be probably by the time signings come in probably by the time players come back but I can’t help but feel at some point it will change around it probably won’t be tomorrow but I I tend to see the the the best the positive side of things and expect that with so much quality at some point we might even if we sort of just drag it out we will find a win I don’t know if that’ll be tomorrow because of that run of results but it’s worth remember where we came from and it’s also worth looking at Lester’s running result so Leicester currently sitting 18th so the Premier League table I’ll show you it there um leester are down there in 18th in the relegation zone so they’ve been one of the worst teams s have been absolutely diabolical but Lester are still very much in it they’re in for a shout to stay up you know the four the on 14 points a win could take him level with Everton and Palace on gold defense to be behind him but Leicester have got a chance to stay up basically it doesn’t look good for Rich s Hampton but Leicester bit more experience you know uh literally people like vardy and so on a lot of Premier League experience there like Jordan aou and you know Harry winks and um other play Kor Cody as well they’ve got a lot of players that you know got a lot of Premier League experience so leester of all the teams that came up um you they’re all at the bottom but they’ve got a better a better better chance you would argue you know so I look we any other year we we’d be beating leester comfortably in this situation but City currently in unprecedented territory we are seventh 14 points behind Liverpool and Liverpool got a game in hand that is why by the way absolutely wild Liverpool are absolutely bossing it and City have lost six games like I can’t even was over two or three seasons that we lost six games previously now it’s over one which is absolutely yeah we’re absolutely knackered right now so we can’t really ignore the context of where we’re going from as we look forward to the rest of this game leicester’s actual results let’s go to their results um what they’ve been up to recently um they did get beat by Liverpool last time 3-1 uh didn’t have much there to be honest Liverpool by far the better side they scored early on in Jordan aou but they were still the best side by Long Way Liverpool and it was comfortable in the end for them uh they did lose as well uh 3-0 at home to wolves and 4-0 Away to Newcastle they did draw with Brighton and they beat West Ham before that but they lost 4-1 to brenford and they lost away to Chelsea and they lost United 3-0 so they haven’t been in a good run of form at all they they haven’t they’ve been pretty diabolical uh competent every now and then because they once again they do have that experience I mean I mean even in the the like the loss to uh to to wolves you see vestard you see um Justin Cody uh Oliver skip uh Eleni uh vardy Jordan aou and then on the bench they’ve got a lot of experience as well like in Harry wins and uh Cod over Reed and Pats and daa they’ve got a lot of wild face as well they’ve got a lot of experience basically it’s just they haven’t got a lot of exceptional quality um I’m definitely nervous about Jamie vardy because Jamie vard he’s the exact kind of guy that would dunk on us he really is when City are in this form and vard’s got I think um he’s got like six goals this season I would not be surprised if he D he add another 50% to his goal tally tomorrow if we lose tomorrow it could be like vardy hattick kind of territory and he is all of a sudden on nine goals I don’t think that’s going to happen but I don’t expect it not happen at the same time which is wild to say that absolutely wild to say that it’s really hard as well to talk about this game in particular because there’s been no press conference basically uh guelda did um his postmatch reaction after the Everton game and because of Christmas there was no uh there was no press conference today so Guardiola spoke last um on Thursday uh oh it was on boxing day wasn’t it yeah I was too busy like you spoke last on Thursday god it feels like it was a long time ago really does uh God was it really only just yesterday I should have done five things learned yesterday you’re right what it’s worth yesterday we I was out with the family all day um it feels like it was way more than two days ago the Everton game does it feel that long ago for everyone else no the press conference today n six was just Guardiola talking more from the Everton game so uh there was no yeah the quotes that came out today on the aggregator was Pep talking after the Everton game because he was talking about uh so they’ve just sort of embargoed quotes that came out so there’s no fresh update today about the game Mari if that makes sense um so there’s no update on the players available that’s what I was getting at so we don’t really know what’s going on there like I’ll show you the quotes um from Guardiola but these are from these are from two days ago as you can see where he said today versus Everton we changed Dynamic um so Guardiola was talking a lot about um yeah the Everton game and it’s a lot of like platitudes and all the stuff that he’s he said before it’s one of those things where I am not um expecting to see City do anything different when I actually look at the Everton game I know we weren’t great but I actually thought Everton second half not included which is very obvious by the way we drop off in the second half every single time that has to be Fitness it has to be Fitness because we can’t we can’t uh keep up the intensity the first half against Everton I’m not going to say we’re exceptional but I actually thought we were pretty good we were by far the better side and it’s just nice to see the stats actually heavily in City’s favor for once you know cuz they haven’t been recently so I thought against Everton we played more like City it just lacked quality it just lacked Fitness it was an older more tired version of how City normally play so so basically guess the point I’m making is I understand why Guardiola said um he was happy with the performance because I think Guardiola knows that this team right now is probably the best they can do I don’t fully buy into that like I know a lot of these players are tired but I would argue with that amount of quality on the pitch even if they’re tired they I think lot his confidence maybe in Fitness but they’ve got to do a little bit better because that that Midfield and forward line of Savio dku harand foden Bernardo Silva kic there should be goals in that there should be invery but it’s just um it’s just not there uh UK Misfit said in the chat said is it weird that I’m enjoying the season I know what you’re on about uh UK Misfit look I’ve been doing videos since the 2015 in on on YouTube I’m approach in my 10year video my first ever video was on Bloom meising TV in 2015 it was around March time I remember um and they pretty much always been positive they pretty much always just been City winning and winning and winning and winning um and I’ve enjoyed it an awful lot and over the past year few years all we’ve done is nitpick here and there while city won trophy after trophy League after League after League after League now we’ve got actually something to talk about cuz we didn’t really have any even to talk about if we being honest we just sat there and moaned that we won two trophies instead of three or three instead of four you know that’s all we’ve really had to do and this season I’m not enjoying it but I understand what you mean UK Misfit in the chat I understand that this is different it’s actually a bit of adversity it’s actually a little bit of it’s a real Challenge and what I’m excited for is I don’t know if we’ll reach back those levels but we’re not going to get relegated we’re going to find our form at some point I’m excited to see what the Catalyst will be it could be new signings it could be new motivation but I’m very curious to see how we come out the other side of this it it might take a while yeah look sweet qu I’m not saying I want those past titles but they they show you where you come from and they show you the standards of how to get back where you want to be we might never do that by the way but I I expect at some point we’ll turn back because we have too much quality um it’s one of those things yeah Harris said in the chat the forthcoming rebuild adds a lot of excitement as well yeah I I’m I get that I actually get it look I don’t think there’s anything wrong and some of you guys are quite young some of you guys have only ever seen the city you know win trophies trust me this is good for you it is because I know because when we were a lot [ __ ] when I was younger and I think this something to be said for a humbling because it it it humbling is needed every now and then the city have had a lot of success and at some point the downside of that success is you got to get slapped up every now and then and that’s what’s happening to the city right now you know and I get it I absolutely get it yeah guys by the way if you are new to the Channel please give the video a like uh and please give um subscribe as well if you’re new as well you’re 43 so this is minor yeah exactly I’m 39 mate so we’re the roughly the same age so we we’ve probably seen it the other way around it is weird to see it and it is strange but and it’s a crazy few months and it might it might be the season where we finish outside the Champions League I mean I’d be amazed if the club want that to happen because that is catastrophic for the finances look look I’m never going to be too upset about City not being in the Champions League on a personal level because I I I want City to be there but I’m not going to lose any sleep as long as City in the Premier League still but I understand for the club it would be catastrophic so I want us to get there because sitting out in the Champions League is a big dent on those finances and a big dent on the stature of Manchester City because I feel and I don’t know if you guys feel it too but I feel there’s an undercurrent still in football an undercurrent um message that a lot of people feel like city is some point might disappear like I’m not sure if people feel if it’s a pep thing or a money thing but I’m not convinced the world feel that City will stay at the top forever does anyone else get that feeling because I I look around fans online and I sense them believing that City are sort of a fad and that the one day they’ll go be it finances be it charges or whatever I get that feeling I get that feeling that people expect it so if coming outside the champions league and all that kind of stuff like no one stays at the top which is true but you right Reuben sorry Ruben just got out the bath and he shouting me from downstairs very sweet um and they think this is yeah well that AJ said they think this a blip for shock over the next decade well that’s the point we have to show that it isn’t a blip that it is just a blip that it is you know just temporary we have to show that so I can’t wait basically I can’t uh wait to see how City uh um respond to this challenge because they absolutely have to because it’s necessary and it’s desperate so onto the Everton game look it’s very hard to predict the lineup here it’s very hard to uh kind of predict where City are going H and where we’ll you know how we’ll line up for this game because I mean you look there this is the team but on the bench of course we had de bruyne gundan Simpson pusy then we left on the bench um you know obviously divin mu Max La niik O’Reilly Spike Brit J MC I don’t know if Kyle Walker and greenish are available you know who else is out we don’t know if if AK is now actually injured because he came off the other day we don’t know if let’s who else was unavailable the other day um we don’t know obviously Diaz is out unfortunately Rod’s definitely out surprised to hear this um yeah M says James MC tra the city desperate for regular play in time and now favors an exit in January and not Forest West Ham brenford Palace all interested with Bayern Leverkusen Dortmund leig fantina and bologna of all teams bologna is an interesting one like that is so specific that list by the way like how could that list be compiled without someone telling uh James Ducker like that list is so specific that it be wild and if it was wrong like who where where would James Ducker get bologna from or Fiorentina like you could guess Dortmund you could guess Leipzig or Leverkusen you would never guess in a million years that bologo or Fiorentina are interested in James mate I guess the point I’m making is that it comes clearly from someone at city or his agent it comes clearly from you a source close you know uh close to the club or close to the player that’s fed it and they’ve done it for a Reas they’ve done it to get it out there um and it’ll be true this lyns would be true they would have been acquired to his agent and if being totally honest with you I get it look I don’t mind James MC not playing every single game but I do absolutely hand on Heartfield the lack of minutes he has absolutely stinks like this Jay MTI is not this raw Academy lad he’s he’s proven Premier League player like he played a whole season in a team battling relegation for Sheffield United I’m not saying James M would set the world Al light and I’m not saying he’s um you know guaranteed world class but this guy has exceptional quality and he’s he’s definitely definitely definitely impressed at Youth Level he’s impressed for ringland 21s he’s impressed with Sheffield United my feeling is that when you’ve got a player who can play a technical way who can play uh in the Manchester City way and you’ve got players like gondan Bernardo Silva who are running themselves into the ground and that close to injuries give him 20 30 minutes here and there and I honestly feel that’s all MC expected I don’t think James MC sat there thinking I should be playing every single game I don’t think he’s I don’t think he’s that arrogant I think James Mak is a really confident but patient and likable lad in fact I’ve met him James is a lovely lovely lad really calm really nice very polite but he’s not given been given any minutes and I get those I get the frustration you know I I I get it I I understand where he felt like he could have played you know at home for 20 minutes here and there he’s had like one appearance in the Premier League this season in a team that’s drastically struggling that’s drastically needing a young lad who can who can impress you know and and MTI can work hard and he does work hard and he can run still and he’s got energy and even if he’s just used as a sort of you know uh a conduit to give the senior players a rest that’s absolutely fine I do actually think it’s sort of reasonably Crim criminal and not criminal you know before anyone takes that out of context it’s an exaggeration for play on words but it’s reasonably rating and I would argue silly to not use M at some point look it might be that pep doesn’t think Mak is good enough but is he not good enough just to do a job on the left or on the right when someone’s tired for 20 minutes I don’t buy it like this is not an 18yearold lad from the academy he’s never played before but he’s been treated that way this guy’s got two years of senior football and he’s and he’s one of the most uh impressive Academy players to come through he actually is and I find it frustrating because I feel like he deserves minutes here and there you know and I’m not saying once again that he’s set the world Al light but he hasn’t been terrible either he he struggled a little bit in the final game but before that in his other he was totally fine was fine so yeah yeah I I I feel it’s been it’s been frustrating to see him ignore him entirely even if it’s just not 10 minutes here and there I don’t get it really I don’t get it anyway I’d be amazed if the team is much different to this giv Fitness giving walk I’m going to Walker and greenish aren’t available we’ll me sad because it was like his body couldn’t keep up with his legs you know or he couldn’t get the lift on it anymore he just it was just a tired pass and like that I I honestly think it’s entirely down to Fitness unfortunately like um it’s one of those things where like I just think unfortunately yeah I think well as Matt said his body’s giving up with him and I think it’s it’s a bit of a shame because he’s got a lot of you know a lot of quality I think his head’s still there but I don’t think his body’s keeping up I’m hoping it should you know I feel I’m hoping it’s uh it’s just Fitness and he might find a little bit of a run towards the end of the season sorry guys got a bit running nose today but I don’t think I don’t think there’s much we can do about it I think we have to accept that his body clock is Catch up and I’m sure he’ll have some say in the season still but when I saw that and I was like oh so disappointed unfortunately it’s one of those thingsam where it’s just a bit too much I do agree with people who say like they wish you see matino riy a bit more just for energy I think I the kny thing is for me at the start of the Season oy played against man united in the community shield and I’m not saying he was brilliant but he was done he was decent um no do you do you know what it is what guys well I am very susceptible to colds when I’ve got um in the chat when I’ve got when I don’t sleep and I don’t sleep at the much I was rapping present till 3 in the morning Christmas Eve and then I got up out of bed at 6 and it’s CAU to me big time so we’ve had a lot of lot of it’s been a very busy and if I don’t sleep and it’s and I catch CS like that and at the moment I’m just not yeah I am not getting any sleep but yeah I I feel like the sort of Abandonment of mtin and O’Reilly as Squad options feels misplaced cuz even though we lost against Spurs as well in that 2-1 game I didn’t think they were bad then and I don’t really see the need to cuz imagine if O’Reilly by the way imagine if he’d been getting 10 15 20 minutes more or less every week here and there can you imagine how good he’d be now by the way like I hand on heart believe that if you keep giving that exposure to these younger players eventually they get better they they learn to deal with 50,000 people they learn to deal with the pressure the physicality more because training is not the same as first team games I I just don’t I I can’t I can’t shake the feeling that O’Reilly and MTI and these Lads wouldn’t be better if they kept getting 10 minutes here and there like I just don’t see how they wouldn’t be and I feel like the the beauty of that is you you’re sort of you’re letting them learn on the job and you’re also setting yourself up for a stronger future because we all know we all know if if MTI and O’Reilly had five starts and 10 substitute appearances between them by now um so they had they each had five starts each had another 10 substitute appearances or whatever we know they’d be seen as trustworthy then right like Guardiola would be a lot more inclined to play them but the reason he isn’t is because they haven’t got that experience because he’s not given that experience and I understand they not the quality of the plays that he trusts but you develop that quality and I think guardiola’s been too risk adverse unfortunately anyway Leicester tomorrow um leicester’s threet it comes from the experience of Jamie vardy you know they’ve got people like Skip and Harry winks and good experienced players you know um elen is a decent player you know they’ve got uh experience with vestard and Cody you know got James Justin he’s got a lot of experience as well um they’re a good side they’ got good players maybe not Premier League level players but they’ve got you know they’ve got International fullback in Victor christansen as well it’s one of those things where now by the way uh dri said how much do you think the stay humble comment is affecting us it isn’t in the slightest we’re permanently online by the way that’s not the real world that’s just a meme I guarantee you people in the real world don’t know anything about that and the players aren’t bothered about it um but yeah I don’t think the world works that way mate it’s just we’re very online those lot so it’s nothing uh but anyway yeah they they’re a good side Lester maybe they haven’t got quite got the players at Premier League level but I guarantee you you know they have the quality to affect anyone in any given day how they can score against Liverpool for example look in terms of my prediction I look I’m not I’m not confident I’d be stupid to be confident given our run a form I do wonder if tomorrow will be a draw it’s possible we win cuz Lester dog [ __ ] right now as well and there’s a Lester fan in the chat earlier uh where’s where’s it gone sorry I saw your comment mate Lester fan in the chat but I didn’t get around to um reading it out but they said Lester fan in the chat said they’re tellable right now everyone says that right now mate everyone says it right now um I expect City to I don’t think we’ll lose tomorrow I might be wrong there but I expect yeah maybe too all John I think they’re so bad look if City lose I won’t be surprised but I’m more inclined to see to expect points of some kind it’s possible I think tomorrow is the first game where I expect any result I think City could win they could draw they could lose it it could be any of them and I think that’s very plausible Leicester are bad enough and open enough that we could easily get at them but they also have the directness in vardy you know to to get us they could beat us and it’s away from home which makes them getting points Lester much more likely oh I’m going to say you’re to Old tomorrow my head says we can win it no my my head says it’ll be a draw or a loss my heart says we can win it we’ll see we’ll see oh we’ve got a long day from the uh Mars days barbery I’ve only
