is a rumor okay this is a rumor but it was written by again Maverick Mitchell conu daily.com just want to make sure I got that right uh yeah conu daily.com again another one that he has written I’m like is he just like uh spitting out stuff or is this legitimate is this is the trade R canu vancuver canu actively shopping Neil’s hoglander and Nashville Predators emerg as front R Runners uh November 30th which is today 4:30 p.m okay 4:30 pm. that’s why I’m like you know what I want to just make a quick video on this I know kuu fans are super interested in this and this might be I mean I don’t know if this is real or not but what I think it’s worth having a conversation and last night in the thing is like my my big question is when the conu pull the trigger on their next trade and according to Maverick Mitchell okay a trade is all is most likely imminent and the Canucks are looking to fill some holes that the Predators could provide I read something on Twitter today or X as they are we’re supposed to call it is that Dolly wall was supposed to be texting with Donnie about a a trade rumor that he’s heard and he’s like what’s the details and he’s like this is just one of those ones where like if this happens it’ll still be big or or will cause a buzz basically I don’t even know if that’s true or not all I know all I know is that’s what I read on Twitter but I I don’t know I don’t know what’s going on I just know that the the trade rumors are flying around in Vancouver and in the NHL and here’s the other thing that’s that’s been wild is that uh EUR got traded today there there’s rumors that he was GNA be traded imminently and uh Vancouver had some people thought that Vancouver was in the conversation where it sounds like they were um uh Nashville and uh Colorado made a deal today so there are trades going on there are conversations going on and I just really wanted to talk about this one so what’s the deal Trevor you’re like what’s the deal by the way this this article written in the description so if you want to go look at it yourself go for it and this is this is the one they I mean hoglander okay we’s talk about it we’ll just get into it we’ll get into it so this is the this is the trade rumor Vancouver kxs receive uh gust of uh gust of uh Nyquist 50% retain salary and Luke Shen are you kidding me is Luke coming back Luke Luke use the force okay uh and the national predators received Neils hoglander and Vincent de har this just seems like this is possible and some of you like hit accept right now and others like no don’t trade hoglander and I get the like I’ve been messaging my friends saying what do you think what do you think about this right now and a lot of people are like if this is if this is legitimate hit the accept button others are a little nervous here’s the thing Nyquist and Luke Shen are both I believe 35 let me just confirm that Luke is 35 Nyquist is 35 so Luke Shen we know right-handed shot defenseman who could play with Quin Hughes has in the past and uh he’s on a two-year deal $22.75 million for this season and next and then it’s a UFA and gust uh Nyquist is at a 3.18 five for just this season only for just this season only we already know that uh hoglander just signed a a deal where he’s on a $1.1 million uh contract for this season but it kicks in his three million starts for the next three seasons after that and that’s that’s what’s happening people is I was really surprised he’s only oh and he’s only 23 years old I thought he was 24 I need to I need to change that right now in here so they’re 35 hoglander is 23 de har is 28 years old and this this would be helpful I think to the Predators uh long term um their GM said Hey listen things don’t change I’m making deals and he already made one today um getting the backup from Colorado for Blackwood uh is it Blackwood I think so anyways I was shocked about that deal he got the younger why did you trade a scare off if if if that’s if you’re going to I don’t know it just doesn’t make any sense to me uh maybe just because he was disgruntled I’m not really sure but hoglander is 23 lots of lots of hockey left in him de har is 28 been healthy scratch hoglander has gotten uh six and a half minutes last game uh has been in the toic dogghouse and you know what that happens like that usually usually it means the trade’s on its way the question is is Vancouver and the canu sorry Vancouver and the Predators on an imminent trade that’s the question that’s the question so I want to dive in you know me I’m trying to figure out which trades are just rumor which trades are real so if if this is the case if this is legitimate let’s just talk about the legitimacy I’m I’m kind of liking this deal even though I do not want to trade hoglander I mean you got to give up some stuff to get some stuff but Nyquist man Nyquist I mean he can help us now everyone he can help us now I I I think that would be great Shen would help us now is this a deal you want to do is this a deal so that that’s the big question I want to ask is would you like this deal and do you think this is tra this trade rumor is fact or fiction so Post in the comments I’m going to dive into some comments right now um uh cousin Vinnie is like nope we want big Z back uh Jacob says I’d rather uh Shen uh Marcus is in building he’s the one who showed me this and then if he I don’t still don’t understand why we offered him $3 million a year so early like why didn’t we wait till the end but I don’t know uh Shen is old but who cares better than all our options Jacob says nashille dumping useless players which is fine fine I don’t think they’re useless in fact let’s go back to that just quickly um yeah if we go back I I’ll show you this let let me just show you this because I think this is important um which one should I show you Nik I’m gonna show you this one man nyis has played for so long so long let let’s just go here okay I’ll bring this up just bring it up here there you go let’s go to Niko stats okay 24 games 10 points okay six goals four assists this whole team has been in shambles um I mean he’s averaging 1726 a game for time on the ice uh let’s just go to the line combinations let’s just see where he’s at oh Scott Edgewood was the one that got traded not Blackwood my apologies Avalanche acquired Scott Edgewood um um okay line Combos and we’re going to there let’s get this in here real quick [Music] um all right so you have Nyquist on the top line guys with forsberg which is wild like would they really do that he’s on the top power play unit I mean I get it he’s 35 years old but like for this year I’m I’m kind of pumped I wouldn’t saying that Nyquist is is is useless in fact he’s six on the team and scoring with 10 points so I don’t know I don’t know I wouldn’t say he’s useless okay that’s my point that’s my point and and what is uh what is Shen playing on he’s playing on the third pairing yeah so it’s not good it’s not good but they’re stacked at D so I’ll give him a pass on there I would trade Meyers and de har for nashille to Nashville for nyos I mean but why would they do that why would they do those things uh day har straight up for Shen um I don’t think you guys understand uh honic is hurt so we’re trying to make it a deal absolutely Jacob hoglander scored more than 20 goals user yes he did yes he did um let’s just go back to how many points um dear not uh what Nyquist had last season what why did this oh I’m in the wrong spot that’s why he had uh 75 points last year guys 75 23 goals 52 assists 75 points that’s what we’re talking about wow wow so yes hoglander scored more than 20 but but not oh man that would be great yes we need demon I know everyone in Vancouver land’s like okay L dear go at this stage uh but Alex thinks we’re going to keep hog glander Michael says with it looking like her onic out for longer term and and JT Miller we don’t know when he’s coming back re uh reacquiring Shen would be nice as he has played with Hughes before and they played well together um and this is a great question you guys want to play Meyers with Hughes yikes let’s just run Hughes so he’s burnt in the playoffs right but I feel nris would wind up in talk dog house real quick he might might he might wouldn’t trade Meers wouldn’t want to trade hoglander he’s still young but don’t know where he will go we said the same thing about uh pety and besser um yeah and Jacob you’re right yes people need to get their motions out of it but at the same time I think the legitimacy of their comments is this bro think about this 23 years old I mean you might be trading the best player in this deal and uh just for short-term gains so I don’t think they’re going to trade hoglander he needs more ice time I believe I do too uh I believe he needs more ice time talk is not given to him and there are so many hoglander trade um rumors right now it’s insane so I don’t know if it’s true um and what do you think of the David year deal goes uh goes to show what teams give up for a right-hand sha D yeah I think honestly it’s actually insane um it’s basically um that’s a great question by the way it’s basically dpd plus a first a second a third and a fourth rounder to Columbus for a fifth rounder and year Che I I don’t I don’t know if EUR I don’t think y che’s worth that I I’m you know me I don’t like trading um that that’s what the comparison is so Damen hunt who’s a third round pick in the same year as dpd he’s a left-handed shot defenseman I believe so third round both in the third round I don’t know much about Damien hunt but apparently they’re like happy to get him and then you’re getting you’re getting a first a second a third and a fourth for a disgruntled first round six overall pick I I think it was wild it was wild to see that happen that was craziness and I’m just like sitting there going I’m so glad the cans didn’t make that trade I I do not I giving a first round alone is craziness in my opinion but first second third and fourth no thanks no thanks but good on them for making a deal that’s what it cost oh my goodness uh what do I think of possibly JT M trade and that’s it’s just a rumor to me uh actually the report I think that um the Rangers did call Vancouver that doesn’t mean Vancouver is interested in trading JT Miller I talked about it in my last video please check it out I I go into detail about JT Miller and why I think he’s going to stay in Vancouver um dreamer says but then again Shen would be a good would be good as a veteran we have options with Hughes when Herona gets back yep yep um Miller’s not going anywhere I don’t think either um no whoever Meer plays with that line SE well no I I I I actually don’t think that last night he did that line didn’t suck I played with Hughes but Susi struggled with him um zadorov didn’t struggle with with Meyers so just saying Hoy gone next year anyhow when we get the most of other prospects running yeah maybe yeah Meyers had a very good year last year and you’re right Alex that’s last year not this year so you know what have you done for me lately we’re not trading Myers This is not a so is Garland go figure stick with hogi okay uh let’s keep him so his confidence just keeps going down and his value best time is before he keeps sucking yes um let me see this trade would be a big L for the kcks if you’re trading hoglander it better be for a top four d like Anderson type of player Luke and and so Shannon Nyquist not worth it to be honest and you’re that’s totally fine I’m glad that you shared that but here’s the thing here’s the thing first of all hoglander doesn’t have value in this league right now there’s there’s a couple teams that are interested in him uh but what do you think we can if you think honestly if you think that we can get a top four D for hoglander I think that’s just a little bit far-fetched okay now it’s probably going to be with first round picks and the whole thing it’s gonna be a whole big package where they throw in hoglander okay it’s not that we’re gonna get a top four D with h I’m not saying that you’re saying that but I don’t think we’re gonna get Anderson even though I’d love that why would Cal Calgary’s ahead of us in the standings why would they be trading one of their best defensive if we want to be honest right if we want to be honest so hog glander not getting us a top 40 in return not straight up at least we’re GNA have to give a lot so yeah I hope to have a far playoff run this year as well um hogi isn’t a top four player yet yeah no uh top four player no you mean a a top four D player yeah Angelo doesn’t like the deal um he doesn’t like this deal doesn’t like this deal okay uh the Blazers fan here ain’t Luke Shen good at playing two8 uh what do mean ain’t Luke Shen good at playing two-way um I mean is he he’s not offensive so I don’t know I think he’s a defensive defenseman I I’m not really sure what you’re asking big shout out gr good see him on your right side yeah um I I don’t know if this is a great point to be honest with you Michael but uh you’re entitled to your opinion No Deal why kxs need two 35 year old players that’s a great question it’s a great question I I think it’s a really great question pety and hogi to National for Yosi and Nikos come on bro come on cousin Vinnie that’s not realistic the one that we’re talking about was realistic yeah I I think I think hogy for a top four D is crazy um but if we can pull it off great let’s do it we don’t need another aging player for hoglander well let’s get two of them then said uh you you don’t think that’s going to happen Okay um Maverick Mitchell’s claiming that a deal is imminent so we’ll see Calgary starting to decline now it looks like well I don’t know what uh was it true that Carolina was going to offer naous for p yeah I did a video last year about that right at near the deadline the the deal was naous and something I think it was a first rounder for peton and uh you can watch that video there’s lots of reports about that that was that actually happened and that’s why Pon ended up signing the contract was because they were like Hey listen if you’re not going to sign with us we’re going to trade you and we have a deal on the table that could go so do you want to sign here or not remember he didn’t want to do any contract negotiations until the off season so Brian loves this deal de har is not good I mean he’s been healthy scratched so right 2A meaning he can move the puck up the ice quick and be very productive in front of the net is what I’m trying to say of Luke Shen yep uh I think I think you’re accurate on that I when I think two- way I think of offensive and defensive but um but yeah thanks for clarifying uh dreamer says right now Hogs is uh Hogs is on the fourth line with six minutes he can’t get us a top four D Luke Shen was good at being back so Hughes could go on offense I agree would be getting up there now um let’s just see kwise age it’s Miller’s 31 Peterson’s 26 Brock’s 27 debrus is 28 Garland’s 28 Joshua is 28 Heinen’s 29 Bluer is is 30 sudor 28 Sherwood’s 29 hoglander 23 sassin 24 ratu 22 so if you go to where is honic honic is 20 only 25 no 27 Hughes is 25 susi’s 30 Myers is 34 de har is 20 28 forer’s 32 brom’s 25 and J Jon’s 27 so and then genders uh demos 28 lanolin’s 29 sheaves is 23 so there you go most teams have more than that yeah guys hoglander is a 23y old kid still with a $3 million cap actually 1.1 right now but yes 3 million starting next year for three seon there are multiple teams after him we can add a couple things and get Pon from pens get Pon from pens for example maybe maybe it all depends on cost it all depends on what the cost is
