can’t stop laughing [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] Chiefs beat the Raiders 19 to 17 uh again in hilarious fashion sure uh they avoid losing a game yet again uh for like I don’t know their last three wins uh narrow narrowly uh narrowly escaping Ken swans and M Lane here on the kcsn postgame show I don’t even know what to think right now uh I someone asked us on on Twitter or on X sorry if uh if if they if we can do a Chiefs div this after a win and I think we might be testing those limits to today matd Lane how are you feeling right now uh hilarious this was this was arguably my favorite this was even better I don’t know why than the Broncos like game-winning blocked field goal I think this one was more enjoyable for me the way that this game ended with a with a fumble in that situation on a premature snap coming off of a dead ball um I don’t know at this point I do think it’s just funny how the Chiefs keep finding ways to win these games when they clearly played one of the most disgusting games of football they have played all like this was somehow there’s flashes especially on the offensive side of the ball of good stuff but somehow like the the complete package this was the most disgusting football game they’ve played all year and yet they won in arguably the funniest way so like at this point I think you just kind of you just kind of have to chuckle a little bit Jim’s hyped Grayson saying Craig is great Brandon Bowens not so happy Grayson picked the Chiefs uh the Chiefs have benched their left tackle twice in the season now uh and they I they’ve done that to their Corner two three now as well oh this is so infuriating um G of Andy re oh I want to read this one from Prime Time Rambo he thinks it might be the worst game of Andy Reed’s tenure play calling decision M making were truly horrific one thank you for the Super Chat I don’t know it was it wasn’t a great game all around I will agree with that it was it was awful uh that wasn’t fun to watch I mean the chiefs were up 16 to3 and they blew a two-score lead in a matter of minutes and then they slog the rest of the game out they look into a win against a please please understand a terrible football team this is an awful terrible horrifically coached football team that they just barely beat at home and they had no business being in this game but yet again the Kansas City Chiefs continue to play Down to the level of their competition and it is so frustrating I and like look they’re 11 like the thing that’s hilarious is this team is 11- one you’re supposed to feel good at 11 and one they are in the one seed the Buffalo Bills are fuming right now because the Kansas City Chiefs are still up on them for the one seed they in the capat bird seed for it and they haven’t played like the one SE for a month maybe more I I don’t know man I it’s oh my God it’s not it’s not for me it’s like it’s funny like it is funny to laugh at this but it is also just it’s equally infuriating like going back and forth between all of this this is a win and we’re supposed to be enjoying this uh Kyle coffee saying Kent sounds like the Chiefs defense yes apologies I’ve I’ve come down with a little bit of something I’m not entirely sure what it is uh but yeah this was uh this was uh just an utterly infuriating game two terrible performances here in the last six days for the Kansas City Chiefs worst 11 111 team of all time possibly possibly I love I love that Kent is like taking my role of getting to be like the pessimistic this like is a win but it kind of stinks broll and like I don’t know what to do now like I’m a man without an island now because I don’t feel like I’m allowed to jump in there too and I don’t know generally speaking I felt pretty good last week after the Panthers game because there were flashes to build on offensively oh I going get right to that in one second Joseph uh yeah we’ll get right to that uh this I thought last week against the Panthers this was there was things to like about how the offensive performed there was things to build on coming out of this game I don’t know if there’s anything from this game I ever want to see again like nothing from this game was fun whatsoever it kind of goes into Joseph’s question here is this the worst coach game on all three phases of the Andy re era boy it might be kind of high up there like this team is clearly having a left tackle problem and they choose this week with Isaiah Pacho back the healthiest running back room you’ve had since week one and say nah we don’t need to run we’re just GNA try to throw the ball 800 times while Wan Morris is getting beat like a drum repeated the drum that Mitchell Schwarz hit to start the game took less of a beating than Wan Morris and they’re still out here trying to throw deep passes every other play I just I thought I thought it was genuinely hilarious how this game played out from every level um I’m I got to do some quick math here uh with my also Los voice Chiefs passed the ball 77% of the or drop back 70 uh 7% of the time they had they had pass play calls 77% of the time uh they They Carried the ball 14 times they Dro back 48 times or or pass the ball 48 times in this game that’s not winning football I don’t know why the sudden [ __ ] shift uh excuse you it was winning football thank you very much this is this is this is insane and here’s the funny thing like if you told me hey Patrick Mahomes throws for 306 yards DeAndre Hopkins has 90 receiving yards on four catches Travis Kelce has 68 yards uh on seven catches Noah gray four for 58 Xavier worthy five for 54 the Chiefs Papa 34 yard and then average four yards per carry I’m gonna walk away going oh all right good for this team hey no we gota hold on we got to step back though that run that the reason the Chiefs didn’t run is because they couldn’t you take away the 34 yard run they averaged nothing like they didn’t give it a lot like they were getting no space on the ground so well I would say they didn’t run the ball enough like I openly will say that I also it’s not like the Run game was working in this game they broke one long run and everything else was pretty bad so it is the volume stats coming out of this game look pretty good I was over here looking at Mahomes passing chart it’s one of the more well balanced like well distributed passing charts that we’ve seen all season from him no turnovers like some stuff kind of from the outside looks good then you see how they barely scored any points they scored 19 points they can’t execute at all in the Red Zone every time it seemed like they needed some to make a big play to execute there was a penalty there was tack getting beat by a like a drum yeah like there was a lot of bad things that happen but yet they still found a way to go out there and win the game they scored all the points they drove the ball down the field every time they needed to I think you saw some high-end flashes from momes from DeAndre Hopkins Travis Kelce looked good Xavier Worthy continues to be involved and look better and better week after week so there is still good stuff to see and it mostly comes on the offensive side of the ball but there’s still good stuff to see from this team right now going forward and you know they we’ll talk of later on today later next week whatever it is about how to fix some of the glaring issues but like I think there’s still if you look hard enough there is things that you can see that look good and I think it’s kind of crazy that this is probably the best volume stats they they’ve had all year yeah it is I think it’s up there it is one of the better volume stats like there I think that’s what’s so frustrating is there were glimpses and you saw I mean this team was up 16 to3 and you felt good you know you felt you know all right we’re this team’s going to take care of you know this team’s going to take care of business they’re you know they’re uh they’re going to comfortably win this game they might even cover and then you know uh was that you know they go up 16 to3 and then it’s a you know a special teams Gaff you know it’s you know offensive ineptitude they go two plays 26 yards after a 68- yard return uh by Amir Abdullah uh to to get that score the Chiefs punt getting negative yards on the next possession two playay 69 yard drive for the Raiders to go up 17 to 16 after that just I mean yeah I I think you would feel better about some of the things that you saw offensively and glimpses of it if the Chiefs hadn’t had their their rough defensive stretch there you know where they just I mean they melted down in a matter of minutes just giving away that 16 to3 lead yeah I mean listen I’m not sitting here saying it was perfect right I I don’t want I want to be very clear I’m not saying this game was perfect but the Chiefs did enough to win this game yet again like they always have and hey I mean listen we’ve made it way too far in the show with the dolphins losing and the Chiefs winning you know what they’ve done Kent even on the back of this game that you hate they clinched a playoff spot you hate you hate that the Chiefs clinched a playoff spot think about that clinched it because the Dolphins lose um no you’re were right though that the defense got a little shaky in the middle and it allowed the Raiders to get back in the game the offense was unable to sustain drives during that stretch and that’s where you would like to see them rely on the Run game a little bit more but then once they went down and they had to go score again what did they do they drive right down the field it looks good they can’t punch it in the Red Zone yet again but they drive back down the field they put up points to take the lead and they don’t surrender it by um well one good series of Defense in the second one maybe a smidge of luck uh you get the bad snap in the fumble yeah what do you think like that’s funny like yeah the Chiefs did a good job getting off the field uh you know a pretty good a pretty good drive forcing a very long field goal that Anders Carlson Carlson has not had the leg for um and then you know uh Chief go three and out again that that ending man that’s the most hilarious that’s the most hilarious ending to a Chiefs game since Philip River fumbled the kneel down yes okay so on this related out field gate this from field Gates on Twitter the Chiefs have now won 14 consecutive one score games the longest Sun streak in NFL history yeah I mean this like they’re testing Championship DNA right now they’re chest they’re testing the limits of Championship DNA right now I think one thing it’s it’s I’m having a hard time with is these are the games this team lost last year you know and they’re winning them and so it’s like you know I think you you you felt good about where this team was heading in the direction it was heading early in the season and the winds were a lot prettier and you felt like they had figured some of the things out that ailed them last year but they are back yet again into this midseason slog like they were last year the difference is they’re winning these games they’re taking care of business theyve won they’ve won 11 games in 12 tries they’ve won they’ve lost one their most obvious loss on the schedule schu was going to be the bills in Buffalo they dropped that one but they haven’t dropped anything else and it’s just absolutely ridiculous that we are where we are do you know who’s been dropping these games uh the Baltimore Ravens uh the you know the Buffalo Bills have lost two games here the Chiefs still have only they’ve only lost one against the second best team in the National Football League third best team in the National Football League whatever you want to call it um it’s just ridiculous uh and it’s fun it’s it’s I’m glad that the Chiefs took care of it this year in this one don’t get me wrong but I just walk away just immensely frustrated by this game and you’re right this is a game where we saw multiple benchings Nazi Johnson gets benched in this game both sides of the ball saw a benching we see nazy Johnson gets benched Joshua William yeah finally gets his opportunity and does some good that one was weird though because there’s a blown coverage on nazy Johnson looks like he sinks to play Something in the flat but there was nothing in the flat chamari Connor was already having to carry a vertical route and so it left another vertical route wide open shortly a couple plays later Nazi Johnson gets benched on this long completion and Keith Taylor comes in for the Red Zone and then Keith Taylor plays I think two snaps maybe three does a good job that does great and then the next time the Chiefs Stevens comes out it’s Joshua Williams for the rest of the time and he thought it was really weird that they went to Keith Taylor in the Red Zone there and then all of a sudden walked it back and said okay now Joshua Williams we know what you have you know let’s go put you back in I thought that was kind of funny to go that route um with Keith Taylor first and going back to Joshua Williams and Joshua Williams comes in and I think he quitted himself pretty well he played physical he played good in man coverage like I don’t think the talent question has ever been the issue with Joshua Williams it’s just a matter of how many uh communication errors are there going to be how many times there’s going to be a blown a blown coverage and when Nazi Johnson’s already given you those you might as well put the better more physically talented guy out there and see what happens and I thought Josh Williams came in and played really good in place of Nazi Johnson and actually I thought he had had some prettyy sharp heads up plays in this game too like you saw him you know fall off uh once the vertical got carried and you had the over route or the out route coming to him and he broke that play up and nearly intercepted it down in the Red Zone um like that was a really nice play from him he did some really good things in this game and it’s just kind of I mean the whole the whole cornerback story arc is very fascinating to me just because like you know uh I we’ve seen Joshua Williams play so many snaps in this in the mystery around him not getting to see the field at all until this game like they’ve tried to give Nazi Johnson so many opportunities and they just they they’ve had to take a step back with him and try to put him back on the field but yeah I thought he did a pretty good job um outside of the I mean outside of those two you know outside of those two touchdown possessions the the defense was doing some good things I mean Chris Jones had a pretty good game here he was able to you know get get at no Connell to the ground um so like there was there was some good things happening in this game too Maddie yeah I thought the the Chiefs and I gota wait to see the full numbers it doesn’t feel like the Chiefs blitzed near as much they didn’t really feel like they dialed it up until later in the game once um excuse me once the a no Connell had started to find his rhythm kind to find his stride a little bit then it felt like they dialed in some third and long blitzes and stuff to keep him off his track but before that it seemed like they were mostly rushing forward it wasn’t a dominant pass rush ver a mediocre at best offensive line but they were winning and some would Chris Jones was winning pretty I thought Charles omu in his first game back looked pretty spry and where where I think omu is good is he kind of combines the best of all the other world so like George caraus good effort counters inside with power really well Joshua us when he’s in there Felix when he’s in there they have speed to win up the arc Omen is not as fast as those guys but he’s actually a threat to win up the arc but he also has the power and the size to win back to the inside so like he gives them another pass rusher that can win in multiple ways that I don’t think they have without him and so he might not have lit it up with pressures but I thought his impact was kind of felt he did a good job forcing oconnell to move or stay in the pocket for Chris Jones and I think you mentioned it last week on the lab Hey where’s these defensive ends kicking inside more we got a lot more GE carapus inside and like he wasn’t again wasn’t dominating but he had plays where he was in the right spot that allowed Chris Jones or other pressure to get there so generally speaking I thought the fourman pass rush showed a little s a little bit of life in this game not a ton like I want to be very clear they didn’t dominate but they showed some signs of life that I don’t think they had been in recent weeks well I think you saw like they Ian we talk about games up front too same thing like you saw I think they saw some more games up front felt like and I gota go back and watch it kind of felt like they were running games opposite Chris Jones lining up at end so it was like we’re going to line Chris up off the edge then we’re going to have some games run into the you know the opposite side of this thing uh and like that’s just kind of you know I don’t know uh I don’t know that’s kind of what it felt like uh but Chris Jones did a great job he was creeping up on Aiden oconnell and with the where there was a lot of frustration but like tried to see a lot of the positives this one this one’s been a different mentality from this one’s been different emotions for me but ultimately I’m glad that GS win they take care of business they win two games in a matter of five days and now they’ve got a little mini bu that they’re going to be able to look forward uh and you know they’re going to have a little bit of extra rest time before a big game against the Los Angeles Chargers um we just got done talking a little bit about Charles am manue was there anything else on the defensive side of the ball that you you you were you were pleased with or do you have more on on a Manu in the pass rush well no I I actually want to go back you said that this game kind of broke broke you a little bit and like you just didn’t feel as optimistic coming out of it would that have changed if two of these field goals that the Chiefs sold out in the Red Zone turned into like touchdowns right like I mean like it sounds like oh yeah if the Chiefs scored more points would you have felt better that sounds like a silly question I know but the Chiefs kind of had no problem driving down to the low red for the Raiders and they just kept stalling out so whether you know it’s one of the one of the passes that DeAndre Hopkins that he couldn’t quite haul in because they were either just out of bounds or they Josh Jones uh made a great play on like what would you have felt better if one of those gets converted in that seven instead of three and now they win by a full touchdown or if both of them like what was the difference here was it the lack of execution in the red zone that kind of broke you or was it just the whole thing it was lack of execution in the red zone it was W Morris it was sloppy middle of the game play where you allow two explosive touchdowns that this team really hasn’t done uh over the last you know over this year it’s you know special teams gaffs it’s just how flat this game was for this team and like I don’t like that energy here I love that they took care of business and I love that you know they’ve escaped but I’m just it’s frustrating to just see you know last week there was you know some good things there and I think there was still some good things in this game this week just kind of this kind of broke me a little bit maybe BJ kle has a few more takes on this uh I’d love to kind of get his opinion on it uh we uh we got be here Tucker is was actually at this game so that was uh that was pretty cool uh we’re we’re getting there we’re getting there uh hi hi there uh hi there hi there Beach how we one day we’ll get there one day yeah now we’re talking now we’re talk I’m upset you guys haven’t talked about uh Matt Arisa uh just laying the hammer like it’s we are 20 minutes into this show we have not talked about our I had it that’s my No it was gonna be mine so I took it from you anyway I was gonna steal that no uh yeah I think that the conversation I joked with you guys I called you and talked at halftime that it was a lot of the same uh for most part but we did see him make the decision with Josh Williams you guys mentioned uh they they’re trying something different putting somebody else in there instead of Nazi Johnson and then putting Joe tuny at left tackle uh in the second half trying something different now the conversation becomes how quick can DJ humph get football get in football shape what kind of is he going to are we going to put too much on him before he ever steps fo on the field for him to be more ready than he probably is because of how poor things have gotten yeah no I I think I think that’s kind of the question now I mean it’s it is wild the Chiefs put ju in the crun in crunch time of this game they said uh the the tackle that we replaced Kingsley suat I with we’re like nah we can’t do this anymore and I don’t know if like I don’t know if some of that was a little bit of Mahomes like you saw Mahomes saying I think we you know we’re going to get some lip roing you know but it sounds like was the same move it’s the same move every single time cbon Chason had the game of his life doing the exact same thing to W Morris every single play and they just said we we’re not doing this again we’re not letting this happen again so we’re going to go and throw Joe tuni out there at the left tackle spot yeah they they might need DJ humph as quick as they possibly can because next week’s a big game for the Outlook of this team well and like I saw it going around Twitter from like Duke Manny weather and I think Jeff Schwarz had even like a comment on it too W Morris is losing in the same way over and over again where he kind of stops his feet he shoots his outside hand to the middle of a pass rusher and they are just going right around him when that happens that’s that’s bad technique in general but when you’re doing it regularly that becomes really difficult to stop and now that I think about it and go back remember last year Wan Morris’s most worst game was against the Raiders and Malcolm [ __ ] so I would assume they have some of the same coaches or assistants excuse me on the staff I wonder if they’ve really honed in on that and how to attack it because now you’ve gotten two different Edge players for the Raiders that have really taken advantage of him in the exact same way and obviously like we’ve been saying all year it’s almost as if W Morris regresses with the more time he gets and maybe he’s not getting worse just people are attacking him better because he has kind of this one really specific weakness that can be attacked so the Chiefs get there I mean Mahomes looked so pissed off after that final sack and like seeing Joe tuni come out that next Drive I was like yeah I get it because he he had looked like he was done now Tony didn’t come out and play great like both reps he got pushed right back into Mahomes lap essentially trying to throw the ball but you know they’re changing they’re trying to make changes and I just think the fact that they did it really makes me think they’re GNA give DJ humre every opportunity to win that starting job in nine days against the Chargers like he’s got nine days to be ready I don’t think they’ll put him out there if he’s not just changing to a guard out to left tackle for the last couple series of a game that you’re still like actively in a dog fight trying to win really makes you think they’re going to give somebody else like humph a chance to get that spot yeah I think going into regardless of the way that it looks we talk about finding ways to win these are the games that are going to matter because of the schedule that we’ve talked about I don’t know if you guys talked about it a lot on your show uh but what the Buffalo Bills have in front of them the rest of this year and then what the Chiefs have to deal with particularly the last three games of the Season all being against teams that are in the AFC playoff race that eeking out games like this if they can still end up with the one seat it’s G to be because of wins like this so that’s not nothing uh to sneak through and get that Victory but curious guys I know you touched on Chris Jones a little bit he was able to get home ended with the two sacks had a couple of plays where he soed the kind of burst that we’re used to seeing from Chris Jones uh that maybe we hadn’t seen in just kind of finishing off some plays the last couple of weeks but what did you see in this game from Chris Kent let’s start with you well I I think part of it is you saw him playing off the edge a lot more in this game and like that was one of the reasons that he was able to generate some of this pressure and and actually come down with the quarterback is I think I think both sacks actually came from him off the edge if I’m remembering correctly so um maybe they felt more comfortable moving him around in this game and lining him up at Edge because they had a manah Hue back maybe it’s something that they wanted to show in the second game against the Riders because this is the second time this is the first I think repeat that the Chiefs have had against a divisional opponent so maybe you’re holding a little bit back for game one have more you know have some more stuff to give these guys to give them a look at but I think that was really what it was is you know was able to avoid some double teams uh because he was playing off the edge and he won he won quick and he was he was affecting the quarterback there so like I think that was a big factor in what Chris Jones was doing in this game yeah I I think it was nice to see Chris Jones kind of show not that he hadn’t been good these past few weeks but the impact wasn’t the same pressures that don’t result in a sack or forcing a throwaway or something like that don’t mean as much as a NIC looking rep that equals just a pressure on a completed pass so it’s just finishing some of these plays and I think like the whole point that we’ve been talking about a little bit is getting the complimentary pieces of whether it’s moving Jones around and having somebody else to rush on the interior that holds a quarterback in place having Charles omu out there who was helping like a lot I think in the way that he can Rush high or low from the opposite DN spot when Chris Jones goes out wide I think these things all matter like it was really nice to see all that and it was allowing Chris Jones to tee off a little bit more than he had been and uh in the weeks past that I will say on the flip side the Raiders Run game looked like it had a pulse and it hasn’t done that all year and a lot of it was coming there was a couple end rounds and stuff but a lot of it was coming right up the middle and that’s not just one player but it kind of felt like the Chief’s defensive line for them getting better as pass rushers when they’re rushing for it seemed like there was a little bit of a step back in their ability to hold the line of scrimmage hold at the point of attack vers the Run game so that’s just something to monitor if it was a change in mindset or the Raiders just had a really good plan on how to attack them yeah overall the Raiders finished averaging 6.9 yards per play compared to the Chiefs at 4.9 the difference really being the Raiders going three of 12 on third down whereas the Chiefs went seven of 16 looking at some of those key stats and then obviously the turnover for the Raiders and the Chiefs going matad you mentioned earlier in the show one of five inside the Red Zone it’s been an issue for them whether it’s penalties negative plays whatever it is playing behind the sticks uh they seem to be having trouble getting inside the Red Zone uh one injury update from Mr Jordan foot uh on Andy Reid Andy Reid or two things one on Andy Reid benching of Wan Morris for Joe Toney said I thought it was the right thing to do at the time just to solidify things Pat took a few hits there and we were struggling at times about as negative as Andy re gonna get in the postgame presser about anything uh but more importantly uh coach Reed per Jordan foot said that Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Nick Bolton was the only player to get hurt on Friday and he came back into the game and finished so good news on the injury front for Kansas City so um now we talk about the win it was ugly there’s a lot of things to clean up most importantly no injuries nothing that uh seems based on what was reported after the game that it’s going to linger U Beyond this game yeah I mean yeah and you saw there’s an injury scare for Pat too getting the hand stepped on and there’s some concerns there uh that kind of you know that you were kind of worried about a little bit there but uh yeah hey and like I think the thing is is like when we when we we talked about this stretch I think we said something the effect I like I don’t care how this how these games look just you know just get him get him taken care of and they did they did take care of these you know they they they won these games it was not fun to watch neither of these games was particularly fun to watch but they did wind up winning these football games and now they have settled into the most CR crucial stretch and maybe it was playing is this the they don’t well that’s not the first Friday game that they’ve ever played but there’s not been very many Friday football games in the National Football League uh playing a Friday football game the day after Thanksgiving get to be home for Thanksgiving all that kind of stuff uh still getting out of these with with with two wins is is hilarious and great they they’ve won theyve beat the Broncos Panthers and Raiders by a combined seven points this month I think that’s I just that’s that’s so funny to me uh it’s so funny to me and there’s that they have a negative Point differential but have gone three and one in the month yes uh I believe that is correct checks out that’s so checks out that tracks oh my gosh yeah and oh actually you know what sorry I think I think uh I think The Buckaneers was the Buccaneers game oh did that sneak in November yeah the Buccaneers game was actually in November too okay bummer it’s still just another seven it’s still close still tight yeah they had a plus they went four- one with a plus four point differential checks out every game by one point I on point differentials shei kapaia on Twitter also said since 20 there have been 23 teams with 11 plus wins through the first 13 weeks none have had a worse Point differential than the Chiefs and it’s not close the Chiefs are plus 54 despite being despite having 11 wins 34 points less than anybody else it’s just it’s so many close games and I mean that’s how they play that’s how they’re GNA win I have my doubts sustainable when you go up against a bunch of good teams as we kind of solve vers the bills one team out executes you for that game and it becomes a problem will’ll you know cross that bridge when we get there but I do think the Chiefs realize that I think something I have seen the past two weeks the offense has taken more risks and they’ve done a good job of not having turnovers with it like they’ve done it they’ve done a good job like being riskier or being more aggressive without making bad decisions over and over like they did to start the year so it feels like the team knows the offense is going to have to shoulder a little bit more of the winning this year and so that is good to see and once again I think the offense showed some signs you know you saw the momes and DeAndre Hopkins connection it while not perfect it’s still there like it’s still working same thing with Mahomes to Kel there was some miscommunications but like that’s a that’s a flag that you can pull whenever you need to like hey Kelsey go get open we don’t need any Yak from you because we know you can’t do it but you can go get open and catch this ball worthy keeps getting better so like it is nice to see the offense being more aggressive and understanding they are gonna have to no oh yeah no he’s consistent though I guess just throw the ball to him he’s catching it yeah I do my brother made a joke we were watching the first half together and he made the joke he loves that Travis Kelce is outs Outsourcing his Yak to samaj P Ry by catching that one play and tossing it back to him Outsourcing the yak is such a great line that is that one was 100% designed by the way that one was not improved that was a 100% designed uh pitch pitch back to ask question is it designed as in Andy Reed said hey we’re running this play to do this or is it design is in here’s the play Travis says the per in the Huddle the we’re doing the play what level of design is it Andy designed it and the Reas they had verticals they had verticals running up they had Kelsey and samj pery exiting uh basically symmetrically and with great timing he caught in an open little hitch route short of the sticks and they had nobody there out there on the flat and it was perfectly executed I’m of the belief that a lot of them are called specifically and designed that way I’m of that belief because you’re not going to all of a sudden start throwing like one of these in once a month and then not be designed like Travis didn’t all of a sudden this year you know all of a sudden get the the freedom to do this that he hasn’t had before so I think they said oh this might work let’s actually call some of these plays that’s my theory on it it’s like I’m fine with it being designed I yeah I I think it was you like to push back as well you can’t go to the well too many times with it but I do think it was a well-designed little play uh so good job by Andy redialing it up and calling calling the pitch Play What Else guys and before we get uh final thoughts on this games into our toast game I do want to talk about the Sol of casc the it had to be guys coming back from injury getting Charles amue back uh could be a very big factor in the turnaround for this Kansas City chief fense they’ve had their struggles a little bit here uh over the last few months uh you know since Jaylen Watson’s exit but I think we could be looking to Charles am menu Hugh’s return as a big reason why this team goes out and takes care of business uh when it matters the most so give me Charles am many who in his first first game back I think was was very positive uh moving forward that’s a good one um I’m going back we’re going back to another Mt that plays on special teams Matthew Wright coming in not even the back up choice of the kicker the third string choice of the kicker for the Chiefs comes in drills four or five field goals the one he missed you know like we don’t even really count that as a miss and that’s huge when an offense is struggling to punch the ball into the end zone the opposing kicker goes one of four like that’s the difference in the game right there so Matt Wright coming in hitting all these field goals because the Chiefs could have punched in they don’t win this game without the field goals so hey the Matts on special teams holding it up get them on matter days Kent oh we might have to be we might have to make them like our players to watch we might have to go all mats for players to watch on the on the on
