within three days but then we have almost one week um until the Chelsea game and then we have a whole week or more than a week um for the FA Cup game against Stockport so it’s uh players look quite quite fine of course we we like it’s always when you have a five one five defeat it’s it’s a little bit the mood is a little bit down and but we analyzed it like we always do and we tried we trained today um what we think we we have to improve and what will be important for B mous for team is in great shape four wins and one throw in the last five games and really very impressive 3 n at uh old traford so um but we prepare U like we always do in terms of your preparation you mentioned a 511 defeat there and I think in your postmatch you talked you a bit critical of some of the the defending in in that game how do you address that is is it just a matter of of the players just doing things better or do you try something new in terms of your defense yeah about box defending so it’s not about the whole defense I think in making pressure pushing Arsenal back in their buildup winning balls we did very good yeah so we had once almost an empty net go when we’ll uh use slided I think eight yards in front of their goal so in high pressure defending in in defending in a Midfield block with did very well for many for a long part of the game and but um we defended the Box not good enough so we we see all the goals where their players were they had two three yards of space and this kind of players we can’t give two three yards because then they score from it and uh so and it was not that we were uh an underload or tactical problem problem so we were mainly at least the equal numbers or plus one how we want to do it but we have to mark the players uh closer and and this is but this is what sometimes happen you watch the ball and then the the strike goes into your back and you don’t know where he is and then the cross comes and the cross comes perfectly and then uh so that also means for us to be uh to to mark them before uh the cross is delivered and this is what we showed the players and it’s all about learning they always talked about it when you play against the top teams in the Premier League against the top teams in the world you can learn a lot and and this is what we showed them and this is what we will uh work on of course you mentioned there as well that um a missed chance to to get back into the game I think at two 2-1 um and I looked at what you’d said after the last ball the game last season you again you talked about missed opportunities and making the right decision decisive moments is that an an ongoing problem do you think of those key moments of delivering and executing when it matters in front of goal I think it’s this is in in any game there are key moments and uh and then and especially you know now we’re talking about Arsenal and it’s not that uh Crystal Palace beats Arsenal every year so and if we want to beat them and win against them we have to be almost perfect in every part of the game and and then it is so it is the same we had 15 shots against them and it’s really high high amount against their excellent defense and also it was not were some big chances and and then because we don’t I think we don’t get more yeah and then if you have them and it is it’s the same and this is what we also see from from the top teams I think we had a great start into the second half we were go to score the the the second goal being in the game again and I think their first finish in second half was the 4-1 and game over and they go very direct in behind uh making always runs in behind with seenu with everon with clward with quara and then also if you defend it sometimes then you block the crosses or the the paths into the middle then they get set place and they are very very strong uh uh or very good in in in also with set place and so they now they have five penalties and when we could see just look how the the penalties um happen it is always it’s I think masra was just one or half a step slower than CL the same against roofs because they have so much pace and they make these runs and this is I think excellent work how the team is uh stick together and and excellent work from their manager and so they get the the benefit and they also think what they’ve really done well um and then it’s over with told that he has contract under 27 so nothing really new there is there is that’s not new new news then is it that that he’s he’s it’s been triggered or it’s been confirmed it’s a new for me because you know if we can decide if it’s triggered or not then he has contract under 27 so we didn’t depend on him and ju just finally from from me um we talked about the Christmas period busy Christmas period what what are your specific plans you for the players tomorrow and and the next day and are they on this particular orders of how much they can celebrate with their families and so on oh yes try to of course to have to focus on on the games we train tomorrow morning bit earlier than usually and then they can go home again celebrate with their families and then we travel in the evening to about it’s just do the best of it and then yes find some hours for the players where they can celebrate with their family and then this is what we did
