so as we discussed in the video yesterday about Cody Bellinger coming to the Yankees as of this morning the Yankees and the Cubs were still about $10 million apart on that 52.5 million remaining on the two years of his contract yes he does have the opt out after next year but right now what the Yankees and the Cubs are kind of arguing about is who’s going to take on more of that money right now that the Yankees just lost out on Kyle Tucker to the Cubs out of all teams essentially swings that door wide open for Cody Bellinger and the Yankees Devin Williams trade I think might have been one of the best trades Brian kman has ever made and being I haven’t exactly been the biggest Brian Cashman supporter if the Yankees do end up Landing Bellinger I think losing out on Juan stto might not have been the worst case scenario considering who we’ve already landed with Max freed Devin Williams and as long as the Yankees don’t have to give up Luis Hill to the Cubs to get Cody Bellinger if they just have to pay his salary Brian Cashman just freaking do it what are you waiting for is what I’m saying Cody Bellinger is still 29 years old he turns 30 in July that left-handed swing at Yankee Stadium and the Yankees need a Bonafide first baseman and like I said yesterday Cody Bellinger is a better option than Christian Walker just in my opinion but if the only thing that is separating the two teams for making a deal right now is about $10 million I don’t see how the Yankees do not pull the trigger on this by the end of the weekend and here’s a question for Yankee fans like myself if the Yankees do get Cody Bellinger what is the temperature in the room going to be about the WAN sto thing then my personal thought is if the Yankees do get Bellinger still not going to equal a Wan stto level of talent but Devin Williams Cody Bellinger Max freed is one hell of an offseason [Music] oh [Music]
