football however they haven’t been tested often enough so I’m still waiting to see other teams challenging them but so far in the Bundesliga that have been by far the best team are there any other points there that you can really nitpick on because no one’s really been able to lay a glove on them in the Bundesliga well not in the Bundesliga but I remember obviously in the Champions League you know they lost against Aston Villa they lost to to Barcelona and they were the moments when you thought yeah they still got quite a long way to go in order to compete with the with the best teams in Europe but I think they they’re gaining more confidence with every every week they they’re winning games in the Bundesliga so now they they’re back to this m and Mia mentality you can feel that in the around the club so uh they’re in a good place now so Bayern are top of the Bundesliga tree Dortmund are probably somewhere down towards the middle of the tree if if we’re going to continue with that metaphor why exactly would you say what’s been going wrong for them so far this season it’s it’s difficult to say because you have games where you watch them you think like this is a really good dortman side of course Nish shahan came in new as a new manager uh you got also a lot of talent but then you know Champions League beating Celtic 7 to to one uh in the Bundesliga good games but overall they’re not consistent enough and that’s what I think in the Bundesliga some teams with great talent but they win games they lose games the only Advantage I see for Dortmund uh is playing at home because they have been strong at home throughout the season and that will be their advantage if you were to pick out any individuals who have sha for them so far this season you would say well I would start at the front again seru gasi is has been a very good signing uh for him the challenge is always to stay injury free to be in the team whenever he’s on the pitch he is he’s a big threat um so they can only hope that he would stay in free throughout the season your prediction then I know dortmund’s got the Home Advantage but I still believe Bayern is the better team and they will win 3-1 normally watch German Football Robo they might think what’s the appearal of Dortmund considering obviously we’ve seen stars like Bellingham harand psic there in the past what’s the draw for me as a neutral to watch this game uh nearly 880,000 people the atmosphere will be absolutely fantastic and what you have to remember about Dortmund is they’re inconsistent now while they can be inconsistent in a bad way they can also be inconsistent in a good way remember they they gave Real Madrid a great game in the Champions League final at Wembley only a few months ago uh they beat Bayern Munich uh in Munich uh at the end of last season with a very good performance gassi who you just heard uh them talk about is a very good Center forward one of the best center forwards I would say in European football with his pace and his ability to run in behind people and they’ve got some good players gens can go past people so they have got quality they just need to put it all together which they don’t do enough they can still be hopeless defensively but I just think they will give Bayern Munich a game uh uh tomorrow how high is G ceiling Robo uh I think it’s very high I think he’s a player that has got all the attributes you know you talk we’re going to see alisi probably play for Bayern Munich on the right wing well G has got as much talent as Alisa he can go past people he’s quick he’s a good Crosser of the ball I think he just needs a better end product but on his day he’s a very very good player hopefully we see him tomorrow at his best now it’s interesting obviously RT was talking to Thomas about Bayern mun looking stronger in the league then Thomas rly brought up for example obviously the defeats against Villa and Barcelona where you would question bn’s defense this what Mell had to say about the improvements that he’s seen this season so far regarding the back that Bayern have this is what he said I think we have adapted very well to the style of play that our coach expects we are looking to play as a team if you watch our games it’s not just the Defenders who are defending it’s the offensive players too who help us out we are a team and when we step out onto the pitch we play as one this is what is helping us to become so successful so is he right Robo have there been changes at the back are they looking more solid or have they not just played enough quality sides that have really tested them well the stats would say the last seven games they got clean sheet so they’ve been good defensively but I still look at up Mao and Kim and he he talked about it at times they’re asked to go and really get tight to their Center forwards they’re asked sometimes to push into Midfield and go and press the ball and win it back but I’ve seen on on numerous occasion remember the goal that Barcelona scored the first one Rafia where the two Center halfes pushed into Midfield uh Rafia makes the run and the player that’s going back past these center backs was kimik who’s not particularly athletic and that’s a problem it happened in the last couple of games and they got away with it against PSG and remember they were caught on the Counterattack on numerous occasions against IR Tran Frankfurt when marmo played brilliantly on that occasion so I don’t think they’re quite as good defensively or not as well organized as the stats are telling us at the moment because I don’t think when they’re been in the in the Bundesliga they haven’t really been tested in the Champions League they have been tested by bar arcela you know and they didn’t play particularly well on that game and Liverpool and sorry Aston Villa you know got in behind them and scored the goal where Manuel no was was coming out of his his box but overall I think they’re a very good side but they’re not a great side at the moment yeah and this will be a good test of them sh we talk about the quality you talk about the home Fone that Dortmund bring to the table it’s nicely poised isn’t it it is um better po than than you you would have thought coming to this season and and that’s primarily don’t to as you mentioned Dan don’t home for on on the road they they still just struggle um I still feel that dortman have almost saved the best version of themselves for the champions league as well I I I just feel that these two kind of given where we’ve come to expect both Borussia dund and Bayern Munich over the last four or five years these two teams are neither of them are as good as as we expect as we know them to be but still um I I think this is a Bayern team are trending very much in a better Direction than than Dortmund and so pound for pound the better team gets a job but only just as much as this is a big test for Bayern Munich I think even so for for Borussia Dortmund at home where they’ve been good but I still feel that Dortmund are the team that are far more flawed oh Don is still with us Don congratulations for making it this far in a show obviously that’s a first for a while uh how what do you make of this game thank you very much that’ be a good game I’ve done the buying game against PSU midweek and the difference was when Guerrero has been playing it right back for Bayern he’s been nowhere near because he’s a left-sided player obviously former Dortmund play and they played Conrad lmer at right back a slim down gareta now who looks really really fit who’s starting to play and I’ve got to say Kingsley Coman was by far the best player on the pitch I mean dembele got sent off which was never never a second yellow card in my opinion but I think on uper Mao he is defending well but I think what Vincent company’s done to him is he simplified his game because uper Mao with all due respect there’s not a ball playing Center half when he tries to be a little bit clever and a bit flicky he makes a lot of mistakes so he’s simplifying his game and you ask him to defend One V ones he’s a lot better and you talk about dortmund’s attack I mean they’re super quick at a three play up front that we think’s going to play so it will be a test for Bayern but I’ve got to say Bayern I think have been really good and they really impressed me against PSG as I said especially kingsy Coman Zan played on the right hand side and was drifting inside onto his left foot Kane looked a little bit off it in the PSG game he looked a little bit slow little bit leggy so yeah I think he’ll need a performance he’s been great all season but he looked a little bit tight in that game so hopefully for his point of view in buy and say he can get fired at the weekend let’s take a look then at shall we everyone’s predictions as we look ahead to the classic which of course is live on ESPN plus everyone is going for a Bayern Munich Victory to break that undefeated run for
