nil against Bournemouth happy Christmas what a bunch of absolute pratts I mean look I suppose it’s the reality by many of us are expecting um Ruben amarim is in this situation now where he’s going to start getting pressure underneath him I mean we literally said this didn’t we Manchester City last week you’ve got to go and win the next game at Old Trafford it has Echoes of Mourinho winning at the etti had and then losing at West home to West Brom the following week what I would say is that when you look at this game and you look at the problems that Manchester United have at the moment it’s the same story we’ve seen this movie before and you’ll get absolute morons out there saying we miss rashford or stupid stuff like that this was never about rashford this was never about ten hog this has always been about a bigger issue and a bigger issue at Manchester United is actually the problem we have inherently in the club this is enos’s problem to solve they’ve got to remove more than Marcus rashford you’ve got to remove more than Eric tenh har there are so many problems at Manchester United and I think that today just shows it again we keep doing the same thing in every single game every goal was preventable today the second goal the penalty you know mazra has been really good for us and we’ve seen it time and time again players come into Manchester United they look really really good and then they get infected by the dressing room which destroys everybody I mean what’s mazra doing the last couple of games he’s actually started playing really average really really average and yet we would never have expected that I think when you look at the um the first goal what’s xery doing there and people will say Anana is like a bloody statue and he is he’s crap on crosses he’s like dracul but ultimately that’s just positional you’ve got to have a man in front of their the guy who scores it and xerx has got to challenge for it we missed theit massively I said this the other day delit is a massively important player for Manchester United and we missed him today but look we’ve had the chances today decision making was again um five yard passes being gifted away and look if I was going to be critical of Amir on on anything I mean look you’ll get people out there going we miss rashy we miss rashy it’s got nothing to do with rashford rashford’s not the reason United are terrible and he’s not the reason he not the thing we’re missing I actually thought gacho and Rasmus were quite Lively when they came on but the game was gone that substitution killed us putting Bruno in the Midfield and taking agarte off we lost the Midfield I mean I’m not watching in that back and I’m sure you’re not watching that back but we lost the Midfield the minute he took agarte off I don’t think Mayu defensively is good enough and Bruno certainly isn’t and their third goal is a cutback I mean oh it’s like how many of these goals have we actually seen at Manchester United how many of these goals have we actually seen cutbacks silly penalties not marking people it was that Bloody Groundhog Day I thought Bill Murray was going to walk out he’s too busy doing Scrooged it was absolutely predictable and I will not put this at the manager and I will not put it at rashford and I will not put it at ten hog and I won’t put it at Bruno I mean I’ll go through the players in a minute but essentially what we’re looking at is just consistency this is consistency and if anyos think they’re coming into man united selling rashford sacking ten hog and building a new stadium and everything’s going to be happy I tell you what it’s a year it’s a year of inos the day after tomorrow Christmas Eve inos a year later are we better or are we worse you tell me in the chat because I’ll tell you what and I’ll tell you for free the job is intense the job is massive and I was watching that game today and my general thought was and I’d love to know what your thoughts are I mean this is the big thing you know for all the things we’re going to talk about this is it for me I’m watching the game and I’m going you know what we’re not better than Bournemouth um we’re not better than Spurs we’re not better than Man City we’re not better than brenford um I I took Seb to his first game a few weeks ago brenford we weren’t better than brenford we found a way to beat brenford and I think we could have found a way to beat Bournemouth and we could have found a way to beat Spurs but we’re not better than them and when you go into those games I knew but I look check my Twitter check my preview I knew this game was going to be tough but when you go into these games in a very competitive Premier League season and you know it’s going to be tough and you give goals away forget about it you’re going to lose the game and that’s what happen happened today soft penalty not picking up the runners not marking the runners on a cross three goals conceded Happy Days for Bournemouth sorted but you know what when you look at man united when you look at the chances that we had good saves ke has made two good saves we’ve had a couple of I mean look at Bruno’s chance should have scored rasmus’s shot on another day that goes in um ahmad’s had a couple of cutbacks we you know we’ve not lost because we’re well we have but we’ve not lost because we’re you know we’ve been dominated by Bournemouth we’ve played a game against Bournemouth they’re a decent Premier League side they’re in the top six and we’ve gifted them three goals and we did it last week against Spurs and we did it a couple of weeks ago against Forest we are predictable we give the same goals up all the time you can’t make these mistakes and there’s a lot of people in the chat saying well what do you think about amarim what do you think about amarim you know what I think I think this goes beyond pointing fingers like I saw people on social media saying oh you know we shouldn’t have sacked ten hog and we really missed rashford and I’m like look ten hog would have lost that game 3-0 what would rashford have done in that game to me that game wasn’t a game where we missed an earling Harland or a prime Marcus rashford that was a game where we missed the ability to defend we should be looking to get clean sheets because we we we will find goals we will find goals I know we didn’t score today but when it’s 3-0 their heads are gone but I what I would like to know actually I will say this what I would like to know is what’s going on in the group chats this week in the players like you know what is actually going on because too many of these players blow hot and cold you know we go to the Etihad and I know man city are struggling but they’re still decent you go to the etti had you deserve to win um we play Bournemouth at home and it’s like just some of the I mean I don’t want to go in on xery but he just didn’t look interested didn’t look engaged at all didn’t mentally look looked like he was defeated didn’t you know wasn’t concentrating and I was like what’s that all about um I thought Maguire had a good game but started slow mazra was off it again Delo was off it again I thought Bruno actually had a quite a good game but was wasteful at times Mayu looked off it for me uh good on the ball but look M mate mate mate m m mate look the M when he took agarte off over we we we lose the Midfield battle when agarte goes off it was absolutely you you wonder don’t you I mean everybody wants to talk about what’s going on with Marcus rashford because that’s the stupid PR we have in this in in in this country what’s going on with casemiro 350k a week we’re taking agarte off we lose the Midfield and you’ve got the most one of the most expensive players in World football who plays as a holding midfielder who hasn’t had a minute I don’t think in the last three games that we’ve played I mean that’s a St I mean look our media in this country are so that all they’re really bothered about is Marcus rashford but we take agarte off we lose the Midfield he could have brought kaziro on who were paying 350k a week and he won’t even bring him on so I look at it and I go look there’s more than the Marcus rashford story going on here um that there are players there there is poison in that dressing room um in the way that the football club is not improving and inos need to make changes and I quite welcome the fact that he might get rid of rashford I think it you know I think I think I think a lot of people do but it doesn’t we didn’t lose because of rashford and we didn’t we didn’t we wouldn’t have won if we had rashford I mean it’s irrelevant to me I think we lose that game because we’re making mistakes at the back because the players aren’t good enough I mean we can’t sit here as fans and go these players aren’t good enough these players aren’t good enough and then make the same mistake we always mistake make the same mistake we always make and start going oh you know what um um why why is amim not winning games I mean look you’re going to get talk you’re going to get pundits they’re going to start putting it on am amim our city are very comfortable and not because I’m sat on a big bean bag but because I knew this was going to happen I know it’s going to happen I know they’re going to start attacking amarim this is what we do it’ll be oh maybe he’s not as good as we thought you know maybe um May maybe maybe the Portuguese league is just a bit of a pantomime League you know you know maybe they should have kept on and I’ll go up yours have that you know why I say that because you’re kissing the ass of Pep who can’t do it without rodri and as one of the best squads in the world loads and loads of money and has lost loads and loads of games and you’re starting on amarim who is inheriting a show in November with no preseason no transfer window and a bunch of players that we all know as players do what players do and I’m not shocked by today I’m really not they’re just not good enough some of them are and some of them aren’t and I don’t know whether it serves a purpose to say who is and who isn’t but we’re not going to I mean look all week people have been glowing up Harry McGuire very honest professional footballer we’re not building a top four side with Harry McGuire at 32 it’s just not g to happen as well as he played last week and as well as he played today it’s not going to happen you’re not building a team with a 32y old um Mason M oh we can all feel sorry for him where is he today satting the stands in a baseball jacket we’re not these are is issues these are massive issues where was Luke Shaw today didn’t see him in the stadium you know having a good Christmas at home injured again harsh bridge but it’s true if we had if we had prime Luke Shaw Prime Marcus rashford Prime Mason Mount Prime casemiro we we’d probably win today but we’re paying the money for those players we’re not getting it and then you’ve got people who I don’t think are up to it there’s got to be question marks around de low there’s got to be question marks around um other players as well there has to be Ahmad wasn’t great today like it’s like but what why why is that why is it we can dip in and out and that to me is the enormity of the job that amarim has but it comes back to concentration it comes back to inconsistency it always comes back to the same things which is why I’m I’m opposed to um mentioning the manager because did he buy any of these players no did he inherit every single one of these players yes have these players done this before yes are you surprised that we lose 3-0 to Bournemouth have we had results like this before yes do we do we fail to pick up the runners for cutbacks yes do we give away stupid thousand free kicks yes do we miss Place five yard passes yes do we shoot instead of passing yes do we are we on set pieces yes everything is is very very consistent with Manchester United and I think that as much as massively disappointed I mean look you can’t not be disappointed we’re 13th in the league we might not be 13th anymore we might be 14th in the league I’m massively disappointed I’m I’m absolutely gutted um I chose this weekend not to do the watchalong because I was like it’s Bourn withth at home it should be three points I’ll leave it to the to Beth and the lads and um you know we’re talking about an absolute pounding but I also think that as Manchester United fans we also need to well we need to do whatever we want to do but I think that what we need to be very very careful is about what you scapegoat and what you think the reason is the reason is very simple we’re not good enough we weren’t good enough before amarim came in and we’re not good enough after he came in what does that tell you we still got loads of injuries we’ve still got loads of players that are inconsistent if anybody thinks this is about the manager they’re they’re a fool if anybody thinks this is about an individual player they’re a fool the problem at man united is it needs strong leadership with the capability of clearing and rebuilding a squad that’s not good enough rashford won’t be enough kameiro and rashford won’t be enough casmiro rashford and two others won’t be enough we’re talking about a major change and look I suppose one of the things I would say about amim today is he’s been here for six weeks and the style of football today wasn’t as good as I would want it to be why was that but it comes back to the same thing I was just saying the players are not not good enough they they misplace five yard passes there was one in the first half where massia just rolls it into somebody and it’s behind them and it was happening countless times I’m not just calling massia out countless times he’s having to use massia as a left sided player I mean he’s only he’s come back from 18 months out and I don’t necessarily think he was good enough anyway the squad’s not good enough the team’s not good enough and they can’t play a Branda football that’s good enough and you contrast that with a well- coached team like Bournemouth and we come unstuck even at Old Trafford and time and time again we see teams come to Old Trafford and they’re not scared and they’re confident and they ping it around and they do their thing but look honestly if you can be asked to watch over that game again probably could have got a draw probably could have got a draw probably should have got a draw maybe could have got a win but we didn’t score anyway so you can’t say that but we probably should have got a draw same as Forest the other week we’ve not lost because forest and Bournemouth are better than us we’ve lost because we have made an abundance of mistakes and not just on the goals I mean what’s Maz RI doing on the penalty God knows God knows it’s just it doesn’t need to do it but it’s like you become infected you become infected the last two games maz’s levels have dropped um and we do become infected by it but I suppose the only thing I would say is that what are you supposed to do as a fan you’re frustrated you’re angry where you aim that at and I think that’s a very interesting question because I mean this if this is two months ago it’s ten hog out get that bold for on out that’s what you know the morons in our fan base are shouting because it’s got to be aggressive it’s got to be angry there’s got to be a solution what if there isn’t a solution other than the hardest solution of all you need to get rid of half this squad and replace it we can’t afford that well you’re not going to find a solution then like sometimes in life there is no solution there is no solution you you are what you are you know sometimes in life somebody says this is the way it’s going to be what can I do about it nothing you can’t change it we can all pray but you’ll never change it and at man united to me it’s abundantly clear that the way to change this is reset and absolutely rip it apart and rebuild it again I don’t think inos have got the money desire to do that so I think what they’re trying to do is get a magician in again to try and turn it around and you know what’s going to happen this week again we going to start looking at the manager being the problem and you know he’s he’s treated rashford badly and he’s treated casmiro badly he doesn’t know what he’s doing he needs to go no I tell you he needs to go about 10 of the squad need to go and they get need to get replaced this season’s a right off for me we’re out the carabal cup probably going to be out the FA Cup in a couple of weeks we’re going to anfield in a couple of weeks the Europa League is our only real chance to build towards something but fundamentally if we’re talking about the football he’s got to get an attacker on the wing you can’t be playing with massia mazra and delo as the wide players in an amarim system if you know anything about what amim was doing at sporting he wasn’t playing Wing backs at home to teams like Bournemouth that’s got to change he’s he needs a midfielder yesterday if he doesn’t rate casemiro and he clearly doesn’t and he doesn’t rate rashford and he clearly doesn’t then you’ve got to give him players that he can and has anybody flipped it around and actually gone you know what maybe amarim is sending a message while he has the support of the fans it’s very similar to what ranik did the message I’m getting is open heart surgery I think that’s what he’s looking at and he’s sending a message I’m not going to do what Eric tenh hard did I’m not going to use the likes of rashford casemiro and all these players who I don’t think are good enough I’m going to send a message and show this is what I’ve got agarte has to come off because agar is on a yellow card so agarte comes off he puts Bruno in the Midfield and that’s when the game changed it went from 1 n to 3-0 didn’t it and the game changed in no time because the Midfield isn’t good enough um Mar massia is May is 19 so I’m not going to be critical of him the same is gacho’s 20 the same as Rasmus is 21 I think these players can be part of our future but they’re not necessarily going to be part of our future at the moment he needs players now he needs players in right now and that’s where I’m look I’m looking at inos they’ve made mistakes they’ve made good decisions the director of football’s gone ten Hog’s gone they’ve spent money in the summer but they need to they need to spend more money they need to spend more money and they need to back this manager and the message needs to be I mean no it’s never acceptable to lose 3-0 to Bournemouth at home is it it’s not it’s not acceptable but what are we actually sat here doing what are we sat here doing are we who are we blaming I mean I I’m probably going to check out and just watch the Liverpool Spurs game I’ll have the fan forum on at the same time I don’t know what we’re going to blame because we’re so used to blaming people are people going to blame Bruno are they going to blame Maguire are they going to blame am are they going to blame the fact that you know I I don’t know I don’t know what they’re going to blame but I tell you what for me I don’t really feel like blaming any individualistic player because I just think that that they’re not better than Bournemouth they’re not better than Brighton they’re not better than Spurs we’ve got players that on their day can beat anybody but I hate that statement because it just means that you know they’re not good enough we need players that are good enough and there are a handful of players that I would like to be part of this journey and uh but but you’ve got to have depth as well I think it terrifies me that when Z when xery started today I was like I’d rather Rasmus started but he can’t play every game and Rasmus isn’t the finished article um when agarte comes off I’m like well that’s that then we haven’t we actually haven’t got a player like agarte um when theit’s out you’re like hell what are we going to do now and and and and that’s the problem we’ve got one of the most expensive squads in the world and it’s absolutely not good enough Bourn with a you know Bourn withth are as good as we are brenford are as good as we are and yet we pay wages that we think we’re on the level of Liverpool and everything else but that’s a disgrace today but I think that look I’m not going to blame the manager I can’t be asked to blame the players I think that they are what they are and the manager needs look either either inos are serious or they’re not they’re either going to clear out and be ruthless or they’re not and and and for me it’s hardly even worth other than a acknowledging that we’re not good enough and we make mistakes no matter who the manager is we’re at set pieces we’re at scoring set pieces we’re at defending set pieces um we’re absolutely but but but we’ve lost today because of mistakes that we make all the time and we’ve been making for years um and look in defense of xery he was in the graveyard shift again as well there was nothing happening so the same things the same problems are happening but I tell you what you’ll get a lot of people screaming and shouting about all sorts and I tell you what we’ve got an amazing community and the message is as simple as this we have to do something I don’t think inos or the glazers want to do if I was in charge or you were in charge I know exactly what I’m doing I’m walking into the playing area and I’m going get rid of at least 50% of this and replace 50% of this and until we do that we’re never going to really start building people say give amarim time to build something what if amarim is an architect of I don’t know ice and instead of ice you give him sand it’s not going to be able to build anything it doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter if you give amarim three years or three months if you’re asking him to do it with the wrong tools and the wrong materials he won’t be able to build it and no manager at man united has been able to build anything because we don’t give them the tools and materials to do it and they’re either going to do it or they’re not and if they’re not we’re going to keep being back here for the next 10 years and if they are then we might actually start doing something but they’ve got to give him the tools to do it and I’ll argue it with anybody he hasn’t got the tools he’s inheriting 100% something he didn’t ask for and that’s why for me amim is clear of this but individual mistakes on players I’ve been a manager you’ve been a manager you’ve been a coach you know maybe you have maybe you haven’t but my point is I look at the first goal I’m like I can tell them what to do I can tell them I heard Peter schmeichel at half time saying what are they telling them what to do and I thought come on Peter you’ve been a coach yourself we’re telling them what to do they’re not good enough how many people have you said go and do that go and do that go and do that and they can’t do it they’re not good enough the first goal is just idiocy the second goal is you know stupidity in the box which we’ve seen time and time again and the third goal is cutbacks that we we just seem impossible it seems It’s almost like every man united player just follows the ball they’re not looking at what’s going on on off the ball at all incredible uh anyway look uh I’m going to go back to the pub I’m going to go and watch the football but uh uh get over to the fan forum thank you Amry and crack on something’s wrong we keep losing these sorts of games we keep conceding the same sort of goals we keep beating City and then losing the next week something fundamentally is wrong you
