that lost to Central Michigan and East Carolina is a team that can give someone a Fight On Any Given night they also lost that game to Marquette by 20 so 19 Roundup we don’t round up final score look Duke is a team that is on a different level defensively number two in the country currently on Kemp George Mason offensively do they really provide anything that makes you feel great about them the top 50 defense that’s like a legit been threat for a team with offensive questions are we sure that’s the top 50 defense or is that I played these teams that’s what my I don’t think you can do they played these teams when their George Mason and Marquette was on the schedule and they were beating them for 18 minutes or for excuse me 20 24 minutes yeah held him to 84 I mean 1.1 points per possession I just I even outside of the defense the thing for me is that I don’t think George Mason George Mason might not score 60 points in this basketball game to to put this quite simply the score can end what it ends George Mason won’t score 60 and Duke is going to score 70 so there is Maddox is a dude though oh yeah I like Maddox I think Virginia Virginia Tech transfer maybe for him Virginia Tech transfer he has games with 20 20 20 he is still hooping still hooping back toback hom MVPs for him great he’ll be a part of that 60 points but Duke will score 70 you ever had your water shut off who has the best back court in this game Duke there was one second of hesitation there from you I don’t think there was the Duke Blue Devils Caleb Foster get going every single guard on Duke’s team would be the best guard on are you taking Caleb Foster or Darius Maddox Caleb Foster see you would have said a year ago you would have said you taking Caleb Foster over cion James then too and sion’s been better like if you put Darius in a Duke uniform I think he might start for this team right now you think absolutely I don’t know about that I think that’s disrespectful by you I love Darius madx for what it’s worth the two guards have not been great they have not been great but they are still better than George Mason guards sleepy week off game which is why I only think they win by like 15 okay that’s why that’s the Sleepy profile wise is there anything you think George Mason does well that uh Duke should be concerned about it feels like like from everything that we can see George Mason’s strengths map with things Duke also does well yeah I mean just the free throw thing it’s probably the one angle that I would take but like but Duke doesn’t foul huh Duke doesn’t really foul though yeah uh there’s nothing really that m i mean George Mason is pretty good from two-point range and Duke is amongst the best at guarding from two-point range they don’t really shoot the ball all that well and even if they do Duke is very good at defending that Duke is the second best defensive team in the country um I mean I guess the one thing is is they play Slow MH so you know that might help I there’s two things Duke’s gonna exploit here number one um George Mason turns it over a lot and I think Duke as a defense can pick and choose their spots to force pressure but uh Duke’s top 75 in forcing turnovers percentage wise George Mason’s 330th at turning it over so yeah I think uh this this should be a high turnover game kind of get out and run transition game for Duke that’s how you beat a team that plays slow right force a turnover turnovers for touchdowns there you go yeah also miss shots and they get it back also that second thing yeah Duke Duke offensive rebounds right uh George Mason very bad on the boards Duke’s an elite offensive rebounding team where they want to be so this feels like uh if Duke shows up the matchup favors them I do think George Mason should have their full attention they are not a cup kick by any means uh just for context cart George Mason a better team than both Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech and Notre Dame and Miami and Boston College and Wake Forest and NC State and Syracuse and Cal and Stanford and Virginia so uh that would be 11 ACC teams that George Mason RS had that’s okay that we didn’t have to take the unnecessary shot of the ACC what what Stephen A let’s be nice let’s be nice four five I I we’re all thinking it but you didn’t have to say it George Mason would finish eighth in the ACC per kenpom okay Greg we’re gonna have to do this all year though so let let’s start it right now we cannot let the ACC stench seep into what we feel about Duke as a best yeah we can I don’t want to I don’t want to either but we can I mean OB we can whatever we want I mean if Duke doesn’t perform against all of these awful teams we can do whatever we want that’s that’s very true but what did they handle business against these teams cart how many top 25 opponents just do play for the rest of the season oh let me pull let’s see um they play one one Illinois that’s it in February God car what are you what are you doing for Valentine’s Day you don’t know yet do you because two months away that’s a week before Duke’s next game against the top 25 opponent that’s crazy so yeah take care of business I get but like but that kind of the point here is like they can’t really do anything that’s going to impress us right they’re they’re projected to go 18 and two in the ACC kmom has them winning every game the rest of the season dog like which they could do just like they got to do it in style points almost right like a 16-point win over George Mason isn’t going to like get me going here right what what conference game does have I
