talk about a an emotional swing game here the Baby Blue Devils who I think are the most talented team in the country certainly in a let down spot riding the highs of what they did to Auburn and uh heading to play a Louisville team that is coming off back-to-back losses lost k prior one of their key players for the season just got blown out at home by Old Miss in two key home opportunities in this non-conference schedule for Louisville and Pac Kelce they lost by 22 to Tennessee they lost by 23 to Old Miss here come the Duke Blue Devils and Cooper flag what do you think’s gonna happen cart can you check your phone real quick G I can check my phone real quick sure quickly I I just want to double check something with you uh you just texted me Louisville stinks yeah time to talk about it they do stink this team is not good um I just I I I I actually could have got there with this team maybe with some momentum with Kon Pryor on the team and like putting things together but look we can’t fall for the Atlanta smoke here I think they beat some bad teams and they end up losing in the end like I I just I don’t buy this team I don’t buy that you know the Yum Center is going to be some rockus environment that Duke is not going to be able to adjust to I think Duke is just going to overwhelm this Louisville team with their talent truthfully yeah I mean if you’re going Personnel based here I don’t think there’s anything Louisville should feel super confident in um I I think Duke has the advantage at every position you could argue Chucky heern maybe is the the best point guard in this game I guess if you want to um to me every other spot on the floor is an advantage Duke in this one uh Louisville’s offense is very three-point Reliant they shoot the 13th most threes in the country but they’re not making them they’re shooting 27% from three on the year that’s Michigan statish 340th in the country um what Louisville has been good at is scoring inside the arc they’re seventh in the country in two-point percentage but Duke erases that Duke’s a top 10 two-point defense so I I don’t see a profile here like for the Louisville offense this is the number one defense in the country for Duke I don’t think this is like the get right offensive game and then on the flip side Louisville’s three-point defense has been a disaster um Louisville Force’s turnovers that’s probably the one thing profile wise you could you could Circle and say maybe they could cause some issues flipping the ball from the Duke guards but I don’t know it it’s hard to take much inspiration from how badly they got beaten by Tennessee and Old Miss when you step back and realize Duke has more Talent than Tennessee and Old Miss right and I I think that the the steal the turnover numbers are a little bit boosted by Chucky hebburn you know kind of do playing really good defense but feasting on some bad backcourts um I think when he’s played you know the old Ms of the world they kind of got ran off the court and look they need to have a I mean is is Pat what is is Pat Kel’s calling card offense is it is it is it actually offense or is it like gimmicky offense it’s offense it is it it is offense okay offense all right well offense didn’t know I was signing up for the 78th best offense in the country well guy they’re hurt they lost prior uh and they’re not shooting well can I offer a counter to you if it’s anything do a Lille winning no does college basketball make sense no it does not it doesn’t make sense it never makes sense things that don’t make sense happen all the time in this sport all the time this is absolutely without question 100% one of the biggest let down spots I’ve ever seen m a a Duke team that yes they’ve been very good but a Duke team that has had issues in big spots this year on the road against a super desperate team that’s running out of opportunities that shoots a bazillion threes like that that’s a lot trappier than anyone’s giving it credit for especially when like what let’s talk what did what did Duke do well against Auburn a lot of things the biggest reason they beat Auburn was a guy that was getting dnps hit six threes in the first half yeah not exactly the most sustainable thing here so I I do think like it doesn’t make any sense profile wise Duke should Slaughter this team but college basketball doesn’t make sense and at some point Louisville is going to stop shooting 20% from three right you just saw this with your Spartans I compared it all of a sudden you shoot 50% from three you win a game by 30 Louisville is going to have a game where they shoot lights out from three and why can’t it be this one see that’s the thing I think they do do that to the tune of a eight-point loss that’s what kpom has it’s that’s what I’m saying the letdown is how much Duke wins by okay that because Duke is just so clearly better at everything the let down goes the let the let down is that Louisville covers okay okay not wins okay all right tonight it will be uh we’re gonna use the kenpom line for now kenpom has Duke favored by exactly eight points that’s what you said weird stuff needs to happen for Duke to win by only eight 74 to 66 is the projected final score per kenpom what do you think if the line is Duke minus8 on the road at Louisville what are you on uh I think Duke covers I’m gonna say duke wins this game 80 84 to 64 okay okay uh Tennessee and Mississippi physical old big right Duke’s not that I think think the the issues Louisville will run into our teams that punk them Duke could Punk them but they might not I I don’t view like Khan canle playing 32 minutes is not like a I’m a punk you Ryan Smith guy so like Proctor resp I don’t think other than Coupe I don’t know that anybody on on Duke is like I’m a punk you guy I’m gonna take Louisville to cover in this spot C I think they make a bunch of Threes because college basketball makes no sense and uh I do think Duke should win the game but this is a a
