Oilers we’re starting to see I told you you know it’s that post November 24th where the Oilers start figuring out how to play again out of somewhere nowhere somewhere and all of a sudden we’re 16 10 and two I know the graphics says 15 it’ll update when sportset figures out the Oilers won I know the NHL had to figure that out there with 8.2 seconds as well but the referees make the correct call you can’t see nothing you don’t know where that puck was it did it cross line probably did anyone see a cross line no so is it a goal no and the Oilers win 2-1 and we’ll take that all day the Edmonton Oilers like I said now 1610 and two climbing inside the top three in the division standings or at least thereabout and things are starting to look better and better and better by the day here in Edmonton and we are enjoying the heck out of that because yeah you can tell me oh yeah they’ll get it together they’ll get it together there was no reason the Oilers should have had to climb from any sort of deficit this year this team despite the changes should have been leading the division from start to finish this year that’s not going to be the case and now as we pass November 24th we’re December 10th now and we continue to climb and climb and climb going higher and higher and higher well it’s nice to see and we’ll take it day by day friends if you’re new to the channel consider that Stuart Skinner had an absolute electric hockey game tonight every single big save you needed from him tonight you got from one man steart Skinner and that was fantastic to see because obviously early on guilty of not making the big save at the big time yes I talked about the review off the Hop there but uh the Oilers get the goal tending from Stuart Skinner tonight a 21 save performance for a 955 save percentage tonight also critical for the Oilers to reduce their goal against ratio per game or their average or whatever you want to say and obviously now you know increasing the goals U I guess not increasing the goals for but I guess maybe doing that to some degree here scoring two goals and only allowing one it’s been a productive past two weeks in that department for the Oilers as the differential has shifted from a negative to a positive over the past 2 three weeks and now steuart Skinner suddenly starting to look like regular season form Skinner in the back half of the Year where he creeps up closer to that 9905 average so we’ll see what comes from him obviously tonight two goals on the Breakaway yeah the second one maybe not necessarily A Breakaway by the end of it that goes in the back of the net off a headman a chip from vaski bang bang bang back of the net but uh both Connor and Leon show up tonight have themselves some good hockey games Dry still a multi-point night bre kulak he’s had a great season picks up Point number 10 and that’s your goalscoring summary really as Conor and Leon lead the way I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case tonight but hey you know what when you got the best two players in the world they’re going to factor into goals most kns for your team whether we like it or not and we want the other guys to step up it just is what it is and again when I say a very mentally composed a very mature game a very good lock it down finish this one out hockey game from the Evon Oilers despite the push from the Tampa Bay Lightning in the past 10 minutes last 10 minutes of that hockey game I’ll tell you it was it was just great to see the Oilers hold on and win this one I think you watched early on there were two critical blocks in the first period for those of you that were aboard on the live stream buard got it outa block EOL got it outa block and right goal scoring comes from that and obviously we saw some good results right you dig in you were physical night at times um it was just all around kind of the Oilers for really the first time me sitting here watching the studio of watched plenty of games over of the studio this uh this fall so far but over to the studio I’ve watched good results in the studio not so much tonight really just the Oilers touched on all aspects of their game that after November 24th last year were so good and the Oilers did that again ran that formula tonight new players in tow and came up with a winning result which is always awesome to see so you know hats off again to St Skinner for coming up with a big effort but the defense dug in the defense was physical when knb watched some bre kulak animosity on the ice which again is nice to see he watched obviously as well the Oilers fourth line at times have some bright spots there were tons of great things out of this hockey game even though at times in that second period I feel it got a little bit slow um it it just seems like the ERS are starting to find that form where all of a sudden multiple boxes per game get checked with the big green check mark and you start winning hockey games because of it you start piling up points because of it and suddenly by March you know 10th we have a playoff position locked up and we’re talking about our formula to win the division so I know it’s December 10th but hey you know what this is the time of year last year where things really started coming together for this club and this is where we find ourselves here December 10th in 2024 friends thanks for being aboard here this uh evening obviously like I said it’s just nice to be able to talk positives about this team and when they touch as many aspects of their game from last year late in the season that they did here tonight and really just get the result that’s the big part it could have been a different result if you didn’t you know hit all those boxes but they did and it’s a 2-1 victory over top of the Tampa Bay Lightning in which the Oilers get the Victory and love to see every little bit of it you know you only allow one goal against not a ton of guys to blame for a poor effort tonight in that result friends I am up
