you know you might hear some stuff in the background of this video there are police roaming around Vancouver at this time of the day so I don’t know if they’re coming out for me if they’re coming out for anybody else near the neighborhood so I’ll try to drown that out as much as I can but I’m opening this video up with a picture this is the legendary Willie Mitchell Ryan Kessler picture after they got into it at practice both as members of the Vancouver Canucks some decade and a half ago go something like that and the reason we’re bringing this picture up is because it was tweeted out by quinning who said this JT Miller and Alias Pon have the chance to redo the funniest thing ever in conu history during Saturday’s game day Walkin now why are we talking about Miller and pety you’re not going to like this okay maybe you’ll find entertainment value out of this but you’re not going to like this because to today we are going over onto some tweets that were published on Twitter about what Elliot fredman said on the most recent 32 thoughts podcast now I know he has kind of a rep but we’re going over on to taja’s Twitter because he went out there and gave most of the quotes or the ideas that we care about for this video this is what fredman said about JT Miller coming back into the Vancouver Canucks locker room earlier this morning I think he has has to bend and the other guys have to bend everybody has to bend a little bit it’s like a podcast you have your talents I have my talents we have to bend them together to make the podcast good now this is a very strange comment and a very particular thing that is cryptic in a way but also kind of telling JT Miller has to kind of fit around the guys that are in the conu locker room the other guys have to fit around JT Miller you have to bend you can’t just always be yourself 100% of the time because truth be told people kind of suck so it’s up to us to have courtesy to be careful of how we treat others and to make sure that we are allowing ourselves to be our best selves for others right common life philosophy but Elliot fredman is in a very particular way bringing this up in the context of JT Miller becoming a Vancouver Canuck person in the locker room once again Elliot said kxs want Miller to work in their team concept because he’s a unique player with a different personality than the other stars # cryptic te let’s go out there and see some of the replies Alias person’s ego replied it’s like when I lived in a house with seven dudes in college I like to battle so some of the other guys needed to battle when they might not like to sometimes the battling would go too far and the boys needed to send me out for an afternoon to cool down after a big battle and that is one very particular analogy that I would say makes sense if you tried to read it from a regular old College dude perspective and then people are kind of bouncing on that py is the roommate who always has his door shut so he can play video games JT is the guy who doesn’t let anybody go to bed Hughes is the guy who’s always involved but never says a word glue that holds the house together this is all just speculation you know people are tossing out random ideas in response to an Elliot fredman comment but there were a few extra things that fredman ended up saying he said this everybody including the Canucks were wondering when Miller got back what would it all look like we learned in the short term this won’t be a problem if the Canucks got spanked by the Panthers and Miller was terrible then I think we would have had a problem we’ll see where this goes over time and we’ll see how things develop over time as well and this of course is a good point if the Cano sucked last night if they absolutely stunk up the room left no traces of a good hockey team in any respect on the table and JT Miller looked lazy unmotivated like aicle out there we’ve seen what Miller looks like when he’s a bad player we’ve seen when he gives up on the play he gives up on the back check he’s just swearing the entire time going over onto the bench and he doesn’t provide any good play there have been moments like that over the course of his career in Vancouver turnover machine nonack checking machine just a pissy swearing mouthful guy we’ve seen that Miller but we’ve also seen it when he is motivated when he is at his best he is a 100 Point guy and he just gets everything done the way he needs to he can make beautiful passes he can make great reads he can snipe it when he needs to and he makes quick witted and very powerful decisions on the ice JT when he is on he is a monster but when he is not on he is very very bad and so fredman is correct in that yeah shortterm when Miller gets back this is not a problem he looks Prett good the Canucks played very well they shut out the reigning Stanley Cup champions but now we are having more ideas tossed out there about JT and whether or not this is actually a thing that we should be talking about the Canucks leaking out a little bit of info to try to control the narrative obviously this is in reference to the fact that Elliot fredman is even saying stuff because obviously fredman’s not saying any of this from before Vancouver’s game against Florida from before JT’s return to the L up this is all coming after and so the idea that Taj is saying here is that oh the Canucks are telling fredman stuff and fredman is allowed to talk about it on the podcast to control the narrative about Miller ever since his return there were a few extra replies here Savage that they got frean on the story the same day as Miller’s first game back they didn’t even wait a week the overanalyzing about anything JT Miller from you and T is getting hilarious and I think the reason this comment is being made and the reason it’s important is is because honestly like the only two guys that are really talking at length about JT in this JT versus PD sort of angle is these two Chester mang and Tash they’re tweeting out a lot of stuff about Miller a lot of ideas or quotes that kind of paint Miller in a somewhat negative light and this is expanded upon even further by some of the other things here after the Elliot Freedman podcast today it seems like JT had some incident or a boiling over Point within the organization Elliot is hinting at teammates and in response so that the team plus JT figured out that some time away would be good JT though is so good as a player that they’re going to keep trying to figure it out hopefully they can figure it out the conu do need a guy who’s a blank the rest of the team is notoriously passive and borderline soft but it seems like some bridges need to be mended but I think we can stop pretending this was some Act of Bravery or a mental health issue or whatever and you know I mean there are people going out there and speculating as well but you o have yourselves this tweet by Ian which I do think is pretty fair in this respect it feels like the worst kept secret is that Miller and pety are not friends fist fight with tet no we’re not going to go out there and talk about that but ultimately expanding upon this there were some other ideas tossed out by Taj I’m sting a common theme here over the past 3 weeks from four different people and this of course was from earlier this morning he tweeted out a bunch of quotes from different media members you had bis nasty from the spit and chicklets crew talking about how leas pson is stepping up when Miller isn’t there and there are also trade rumors about Miller he mentions the Canucks have to do something if Miller comes back and the dynamic in the locker room doesn’t work because it makes elas Pon uncomfortable and not the same player he also had this comment from saer Shaw from about uh two or 3 weeks ago is Miller on Pon does it ever get to a point where these players can’t coexist I guess that’s possible when you have players of that stature that don’t mix but I don’t see that necessarily being an issue as we sit here today we know these guys aren’t necessarily best friends furthermore there were some comments from Halford and Bruff Jason Bruff said this on the radio a few weeks ago as well I think it’s been pretty noticeable that py has seemed a lot happier lately those guys have admitted that they’ve had to work on their relationship I’ve been wondering more and more this season and lately if this is tenable over the next few years and then you had this Elliot fredman speaking out about it earlier this morning that everyone has to bend Miller has to bend the play in the Canucks locker room have to bend essentially there’s enough ammo here if you really wanted to dive into it that insinuates that JT Miller and Alias Peterson’s compatibility in the locker room might be seen as I don’t want to say a problem but just sort of a talking point it is something that is noticeable enough to bring up which is why you had Jason Bruff a few weeks ago debating whether or not this actually is a compatible relationship to have in that locker room you had Sati your Shaw bring up the same idea I’m not saying there’s a 100% conclusive conclusion that you could make but I am saying that there is an idea that’s worth talking about which is why we’re making this video going over the Elliot fredman comments about Miller coming back into the room and it’s why we’re going to open the floor up to you in the comment section I want you to let me know your thoughts in the comments as to whether or not this entire thing really is worth talking about whether or not fredman is on to something or whether or not Sati here Shaw or Bruff or any of the other guys are building towards this idea maybe not consciously but just kind of spreading it out there to the point that we can respond and react in the comment section of YouTube videos because ultimately these are two of the best forwards on the Vancouver conects and if there is some sort of a thing going on that we are not aware of does it make sense to start bringing it up so I want you to let me know your thoughts in the comment section below if this entire thing is the
