[Music] the sharks um they they played games this week um it it wasn’t great games were played yep uh so uh games are played uh uh memories were made Sam has switched the hat to the Sharks and oh I remember doing this bit uh you know a while ago it just worked out this way because they were I been reorganizing my desk so they just so happen to be here right the the sharks have uh lost to the Winnipeg Jets on the uh this past week here four to three they take another L against Colorado uh that was Sam’s win of the week here and then they H take one more L just for a good measure here against Edmonton in overtime three to2 that was Vince’s win of the week and he almost had it he did both you guys both of you guys had a chance there you had a flying flying chance there but yeah we were in it uh my team is I mean my win of the week is uh today they’re playing Vancouver I don’t know if that game’s kicked off yet or not think not quite I have it on they’re about to tip off I think uh or tip off drop the puck yeah I think uh I’m feeling confident uh Three L’s I think I think the fourth one is going to be be the charm here uh y scar is uh go is uh in goalie again this will be the second game in a row this is the first time uh for the sharks that he’s starting two in a row he looks good man I mean I know the overtime lost but the questions are like they’re they’re starting to ask the questions um should he just be the number one goalie now like like I I don’t think we have anybody better if I’m being honest like like like I he is the best goalie we have uh in the in the entire system right now so yeah Blackwood being gone now yeah yeah yeah once yeah black Blackwood was pretty solid uh more so than I thought he would be you know um given given just how terrible the team is um but but yeah it’s it’s he’s fun and uh this is this is his uh chance right now and he he’s played admirably even though he took the L uh on Saturday night uh that was not his fault he had a safe percentage of almost 93% uh he was let’s see uh yeah 39 saves as well on 42 shots so and that includes overtime you know just absolutely wild he uh he played like hell and and he deserved a second start in a row because this other guy that they got in the uh in the uh Blackwood trade uh what What’s his name it’s starts with Georgie geie there you go yeah yeah I mean look I think I think GE Georg of is I think he I don’t know I don’t know how much you want to believe in this Vince or or Sam but I do think that the barracudas they’re having an amazing season like they’re they’re tops you know and I think I think losing asgarov is a big blow and they do want to make sure that one they have a talent pull but I think they do give a about that Barracuda team and want to see him succeed so I think geori is gonna be a great uh fit in for that team for the barracudas um but but by all means I don’t think he’s going to be you know your your your top second uh goalie he might be third option here for you injur reserve type of situation here yeah um but uh no asov looks great you know we didn’t do him any favors this last game um so hopefully we get him another W or give him a chance to get a W uh for today I do think that um you might need to move him not necessarily down but take him out of rotation because you don’t want to beat the kid up man you don’t he he knows he’s going to be for an L season it’s going to be one of those situations you don’t want Psy I think that’s one of the reasons why they don’t want to start him yeah exactly yeah yeah that’s fair I mean I I could see that yeah um just a quick called de bini watch called der bini see what I did there um he uh Macklin has 11 goals and 12 assists uh 23 points just you know just kind of keeping an eye on it you know yeah I mean I don’t think he’s gonna break W Gretzky’s rooky record but you know I don’t no no no but I mean uh he’s a minus six right now but that’s because the team is so Terri terrible and he’s like he’s one of the he’s the best player on the team so he’s on the ice a lot that’s all like plus minus is not a perfect stat you know it it it makes guys that are okay look really really good if they’re on a really good team and it makes guys that are really really good look mid um if they’re on a really bad team so I I agree here of course if you’re really good and on a really good team it’s astronomical like like it’s just it multiplies you know everything it makes everything it it’s not perfect it skews everything so I don’t love plus minus is the long story short on that yeah I think it makes more sense in in basketball than pretty much any other sport I guess War would be that would be the version of plus minus for for ver baseball but um uh either War uh the standings right now the sharks are 11 19 and six uh eighth in the Pacific 14 in the west yeah um uh uh Anaheim did get a win over the last week so they jumped ahead of us okay they they’re uh they have 30 points we have 28 so they’re it’s right there neck and neck they also have four games in hand so uh we’ve played four more games than they have so that’ll uh that’ll come back to bite us um
