appreciate that I hope you appreciate us looking ahead to game day two of the NBA cup quarterfinals I’m recording this before day one so I don’t know what’s happened in day one of those games and this is the second day of the quarterfinals and there are going to be two games on that’s how this stuff rolls I hope by now you’re well aware of what is happening this week and hopefully we’re we’re on top of that um and you know if you’re in a Yahoo League no your ads did not get reset so you this is another just reminder you just got to watch the show because I mentioned that 30 times last week and yeah welcome to the show and keep watching because we will have all of that pertinent information I believe as often and uh as early as anywhere so yeah listen cool done watch cool we’re going to talk about the games we’re going to talk about those uh those games on Wednesday the first one of those games is the Atlanta Hawks and the New York nicker bers this one is in New York the Knicks are seven-point favorites here the Hawks play Wednesday if they win they also play Saturday if they lose they play on Sunday and they have two games in calendar week n after that the Knicks it is a little bit of a different scenario they play Wednesday obviously if they win they play Saturday that is locked in and if they lose they might play Sunday or they might play Monday now we’re going to know about that because as soon as we find the result of Orlando Milwaukee we will know if Milwaukee wins the Knicks are either Saturday Sunday team if Milwaukee loses the Knicks are either a Saturday or Monday team so a win on Saturday a loss puts them on Monday but that is dependent on what happens in that Milwaukee game so next week the Knicks might have two games in week nine or they might have three games depending if they play on the Monday or not yes I know that sounds confusing it really isn’t but I know it sounds confusing it does make it hard that’s this is the only team with uncertainty this week the Knicks because they might have two more games this week or they might have one that is the only team that that applies to in terms of injury tags um we actually did just get some updates on the Hawks and they chucked a couple of blocks on the injury report that weren’t there previously and I don’t think that really matters that much it’s DeAndre Hunter um he’s probable and Trey young is probable but the big ones are the official questionable tags on both Jaylen Johnson and Bogdan bogdanovich Johnson with the shoulder and bogdanovich with the quad I actually think both of these guys um are going to play and I think that’s that’s how I’m viewing that but I also don’t know of course but they are both Jaylen Johnson and Bogdan bogdanovich officially questionable in terms of the Knicks the only guy um that is out for them is Mitchell Robinson you might get some other guys pop up you might get a towns tag on there Brunson brained his ankle last game but he was able to return so maybe he appears but the only guy or and maybe you even get a campaign questionable tag or something along those lines are there but the only guy that’s definitely out for the Knicks is Mitchell Robinson what am I watching for well earlier today I’m sure you’ve seen it already add it to your Spotify mixed um Spotify wrapped wrapped Spotify wrapped hours I did the by low sell High show and there’s a lot of about what De Ray Hunter that’s doing is just not going to hold I’m so sorry he might be your favorite player you might want to reassess who your favorite player is but he might be your fav player but he’s not a 49% three-point shooter so let’s see what happens cuz there’s something that can happen he might get worse but maybe he starts adding peripheral stats I mean he won’t he never has in seven years seven has he played seven years is that right it sounds right but it also sounds wrong oh there’s lots of things about me that are so right and so wrong at the same time anyway DeAndre Hunter is someone we’re watching because it’s about that shooting and it’s about how the minutes get distributed as well between him and Zachary Rish and then bdan bogdanovich if he’s actually available to play on the Nick side of things it is Jaylen Brunson that I want to watch very slow start to the season multiple Foot and Ankle problems didn’t miss any time of course then started to really fire up and get some big games going and then sprain his ankle again is that going to impact him that is just so many times that that has happened to Brunson this season that yeah he is playing through it but there were there were negative consequences to that early in the season so let’s see if there’s anything that actually goes on there in terms of stream guys ret has been dropped in a lot of spots rightfully so he should be he is not a 12 or 14 team Team league must roster player but with a game on Wednesday with only three other teams playing and one of those being the Knicks who play seven guys ret does have streamability and then on the Knicks it continues to be juice McBride who continues to be useful enough to be a 12 team League player and Sky High well not Sky High upside but decent enough upside if one of four different players gets hurt so I actually do think that juice McBride just does belong on a 12 te roster now Hunter might be cons someone D Hunter might be someone who consider a stream I normally look at below 40% on Yahoo was my cuto and he is right on 40 so have a look if DeAndre Hunter’s out there then absolutely use him over R without any question whatsoever but just take a look to see whether it makes sense uh or if he is actually available for your particular team in your particular League because guess what I don’t know that we’ll come back we’ll talk about the second game of the day that is the Warriors and the rockets a rematch of a game we just saw the other day but first today’s episode is brought to you by Fel and I I do think that these guys will return we’re talking Golden State taking on the Rockets this one in Houston schedule actually the Rockets are three-point favorites at home here the Warriors play Wednesday if they win Saturday if they if they win they play on Saturday if they lose they play on Sunday and they play two games in week nine calendar week nine and Houston it play Wednesday of course and if they win they play Saturday and if they lose they play Sunday the exact same scenario it is with golden state and then they also have two games in calendar week nine the guys that were missing last time out Andrew Wiggins didn’t play for the Warriors but it sounds like he is going to play Without Really any worries whatsoever so he’ll be in there playing and then the ones are going to be interesting are going to be Houston because T een has been dealing with concussion so there’s really not an easy way to be able to predict whether e is going to be available I’ll put him with a questionable tag whereas Fred Van vit missed the game on Sunday with that knee issue I think that’s that was rather precautionary I wouldn’t be shocked if they list van questionable I’m going to put him as probable CU I do think that he will be available to play E’s one that I’m not really certain about in terms of what things I want to watch in this game I want to watch John kaminga because he is starting and this will be an interesting one to watch to see whether they start kaminga and Wiggins and green all together and then what does that mean at the other position is it pton is it he cuz we know they were leaning on some analytic stuff last game out against the wolves to change that lineup around is that what they do again in this one like does green Go Back Off the Bench does kaminga start there I I still have incredible skepticism about Jonathan kaminga his overall fantasy value and his role on this team for the foreseeable future but let’s get another data point in there is it 36 minutes is it 31 minutes is it 28 minutes is it high usage low usage how does it all work out there are so many unanswered things with kaminga and we need to keep paying attention to that I also want to watch alperen shenon because it’s been an up and down season from mangun he’s had some issues all season with really low twoo percentage which again is very strange he’s upped his block rate although that has dropped of late so I just want to see the defensive stats but more importantly like the finishing numbers why they’ve been low but also are we able to get that back to somewhat close to normal and that will push him way higher in the fantasy valuation space in terms of stream guys cavon Looney is available everywhere he’s not going to start necessarily it doesn’t look like it but they took Trace Jackson Davis out of the rotation Looney’s strength and positioning is useful against shenon he might be like a 7.7 rebound player which is okay it’s not for everybody he can get a steal or two two or three assists there’s a little bit there and he is preferred at the moment over Jackson Davis while Dylan Brooks is the Perpetual stream he could have 18 points he could have four points he could shoot 10% he could shoot 90% he could have five steals he could have four assists he could have zero of both and that’s the sort of player that where you know you’ve got a relatively safe floor in terms of minutes I’m not including a men Tom here I’m not including Ty e here cuz they’re rosted everywhere that they should be I’m guessing but if they aren’t well then yeah of course you look at a man and tar if he plays ahead of those guys and if e is out it’s very deep League stuff like the Wild Thing J sha Tate or it’s a little bit of extra stuff for Jabari Smith whose value does rise in that um particular setting let’s take a look at some schedule-based information because that is the two games absolutely done and dusted and there’s no back-to-backs Wednesday to Thursday there’s no nothing really happening the chunk stuff which is Wednesday through to Sunday but if we look at the next seven days the non- calendrical calendar the 7-Day period the fives and twos obviously nobody’s playing five games in that period but there are four teams that are worth mentioning the Mavericks the Bucks the Thunder and the magic which are not coincidentally but coincidentally not coincidentally at all they’re the teams playing Tuesday today NBA cup quarterfinals so from Wednesday onwards they play one more game that’s it one more game and that one more game from them that counts for fantasy is either the semi-final on Saturday or the loser combination game on Sunday and for Milwaukee that maybe is Monday but in the next seven days these four teams the teams that play Tuesday they have one more game the rest of the week after Tuesday remember that so while it’s we thought in last season this was more the case the teams that qualified for The Knockout round they got to play the low volume games and that was an interesting thing to sort of Target in fantasy that’s not a thing this year because those games with the the makeup games they’re not 10 11 game days they’re like seven and eight which are totally streamable anyway and now for the next seven days these teams just play once on the weekend that is it so not much not as much value in holding on to those longer term stream type players after their game well not longer term but the stream options that you might have tried out on Tuesday is’s no real value in holding them given how little they play over this um over this time period we’re going to come in and we’re going to talk a little bit about streaming and there were some stream options for Tuesday show which we did obviously yesterday that or no yeah was it no it was Monday show that in terms of previewing Tuesday there was some stream options because one of the teams involved in these matchups is the Knicks and because another one of them is the rockets and they both go extraordinarily tight on rotations even finding like a bloke that’s getting 10 minutes 12 minutes off the bench there’s not many of them there’s just not there’s hardly any scamble options and part of the reason why yesterday there was a lot was because the magic had a bunch of injuries so there was just a wide array of players who were going to get bumps in minutes who were also very lowly rosted and for these teams which are incredibly stable there that just doesn’t exist so we’ll talk about the stream of the day then we’ll get into a little bit more nitty-gritty typee of stuff in a sec but I do think the juice McBride is the streamer of the day I think he’s worth just grabbing and holding anyway to be honest because of that upside that I talked about he’s the 10 team streamer the 12 teamer is Dylan Brooks but again the the league size designation here doesn’t really matter given how few options are actually available cavon Loney I look at the 14 team guy there and then precious AA but honestly you can stream all of those guys in even shallow formats cuz you honestly you just want somebody who’s going to play the best projected guy to me who’s available in a lot of spots for Yahoo points is cavon Looney and for esvn points it’s juice McBride but there are small margins between those numbers and again someone like a DeAndre Hunter who sits at 40% rosted I didn’t include here but you can if you want and he would be right at the top of that list and obviously like a buddy heeld or John kaminga Brandon psky those guys that all sit above my Rost the cut off well they again to have that value which is you know going to depend just have a look honestly just have a look who’s around who you think is going to get more minutes and that sort of thing is a pretty good way to take a look at the streaming options for the day we’ll come back and do a few more streaming things in a sec but just get in for a couple more final stream options here these ones all sit there I’ve written 10 Team league streams and they are all 10 team streamers but just have a look if they’re available in any League really because I think they’re going to be available in most spots juice McBride um Dylan Brooks cavon Looney the big sneeze precious a che campaign and then Gary Payton’s a tougher one because he might play 25 minutes he might play 10 minutes he might play 13 minutes I don’t know what Steve Kerr is going to do I don’t know if he’s going to change his mind with that rotation again because they’re going to have to reincorporate Wigan somewhere and he will start so that means heeld kaminga and it won’t be kaminga Draymond or Payton are going to come off the bench so I think it’s probably going to be Payton but that doesn’t mean that he’s out of the rotation although it could and that’s the very risky thing with that Warriors rotation and that’s where we start to get really iffy now so I’m not even going to do like a 12 te1 because these guys are just like man they’re barely going to play like Kyle Anderson Zachary ret Steve Adams vit Cree Lindy Waters II thiri the hall pass Legend and Moses Moody and some of those guys Cree moody maybe even Adams they might not literally even play that is a very very tough streaming day there’s just not that many options available if we go and have a look at Yahoo points scoring these are 40% rosted or below um Looney Dylan Brooks juice McBride Zack risset precious atua and Cameron Payne and for ESPN points leagues we’re going to go to juice McBride cavon Looney Dylan Brooks campaign Zack risset and precious the big sneeze chewer and that is a preview for wday Wednesday’s games not a huge amount of streaming stuff going on because of the way that both the Rockets and the Knicks run their rotations the incredibly tight nature of that not many injuries across either of these teams in fact it is indeed entirely possible that there is only one rotation player out across all four of these teams and that’s Mitch Robinson Wiggins could play een could play Van v could play um bogdanovich could play Jaylen Johnson could play everyone is Ava has a real shot of being available except for Mitch Robinson obviously DeAnthony m ruled him out for the year but otherwise everyone’s available so that cuts down a lot of that open up value that sometimes happens for streaming and sometimes that’s just the way it rolls and if you want to roll like a legend where you can hit a thumb on this video and you can leave your comments down below of course and as we get ready to head out of here get ready to watch the NBA cup you know what you might think it’s pointless you might think that it’s wasted our time in fantasy I don’t think you should look at it that way it’s actually you know it’s it’s not as complicated as we think it is it actually provides really fun and intense NBA games at this point of the year the time off is okay I don’t like the fact that it’s made some extra back-to-backs appear at other points but that’s okay as well it’s just something again I didn’t like the idea but I actually love the concept now I still think there are tweaks that can be made let’s enjoy what we getting let’s make the most of it from a fantasy point of view and let’s just you be good to ourselves and and and be positive it’s not it’s not unbridled positivity it’s not positivity without criticism or reflection but yeah know just know that you’ve done something good and that’ll help us all out guys we are done here thank you so much
