on his Moscone cup debut now he’s handed someone else a chance to do the same thing and how fitting it would be if the first time the Moscone comes to the home city of Disney World the final nine ball ends up being potted by a man called Mickey C well you’ve been in this position Jeremy what can Skyler say to his players now to keep the motivation up to keep that little bit of belief that something amazing can still happen well I mean I think with Skyler you’re going to hear something positive or whatever it is but also something a little maybe humorous right to lighten the load a little bit and you know from here they can only go up so you just got to believe oh my God oh my well they haven’t gotten a lot of starters after the break the last two days 2 and 1/2 days he’s got one here to maybe had some pressure with the break and run to open take it out there one of the best stunners of the QQ ball in the business of course does a lot of things really well Big Shot here looks like he’s done this pretty well too yeah probably one of the most confident Strokes we’ve seen from feder all week maybe the three ball and D won from out in the middle of the table that was a big [Music] one played so well as an individual all year in a sense right now he is playing as an individual he must feel that such a long shot that the Americans can win this right now it’s just all about trying to have something to take away from the week from his own point of view and that might free him up a bit it’s going to be a textbook start from a man who played textbook pool all throughout 2024 well it’s going to have to be the greatest turn around in moson history if they can win this but it’s got to start somewhere and that is as good way as any KRA the youngest player in the Moscone Cup this year he’ll be 24 next week just a few months younger than [Applause] gor he’s going to keep it simple probably gor goes to the air here hasn’t had the spectacular results like we’re used to seeing him with the short [Applause] Q DX yeah you can see him sizing it up he’s going to bank the blue two to his left probably trying to bring the Q ball behind the 37 now he could put the two near the nine so watch out heau very thin and he Flo the two Excuse Me Flo the three and know the Americans feel and with some justification they haven’t had great deal of luck and good fortune over the four days maybe it’s turning up a little too [Music] late yeah every stroke just looks so much more confident now maybe again you’re in a position where it’s like free money if you make this come back back but still you got to do it got to physically make the arm work Woodward getting the crowd on the feet and it’s a case off will the real feder G please stand up looks to be happening here this is more what we’ve been watching all through the year in jeda and Atlantic City and Hill Design from feder gor throughout this wonderful 2024 he’s had turbulent year for your country Jeremy to say the least but bit awkward here this first shot you can see that little bit of an angle he’d love to be straighter to draw back towards the eight I’ll tell you I might play short side here for the three all the way up by the seven that’s just how touchy this first shot is and you’re never getting snookered if you don’t like it you can play a nice safety he came across it’s going to work out just fine really you can go back to two maybe three moments that if they turned out differently it could have been a completely different Mone but let’s not write it off yet anyway no absolutely not and and those guys were in position a couple matches are the ones that that stand out so far the last match on day one I thought was a huge one yeah there was a great chance for the US to be level at the end of day two it didn’t quite happen again how different might it have been if that doubles have gone a different way but it’s all going the way of the Americans in this one farra Gorst the absolute Undisputed World Player of the Year in 2024 is really showing us what he’s all about here he has played three wonderful racks and he’s cruising against Mickey Craigs B the champion of the world leads by three racks to nil he’s 3-0 [Applause] down yeah I’ll tell you besides balls on the break it hadn’t been much in this match for Mickey Krauss believe it was a break in run from feder in games one and three and then a fluke in game two off a nice safety from Mickey yeah CR did make the one off the break in rack two but I think that’s the only ball he’s posed yeah besides the one on the break this one here but yeah until yeah prior to this rack yeah there’s been nothing after the break shot Bo he shot twice one was a successful safety that didn’t hold up and now a missed combination that he’d certainly like to have back this one was pretty easy when it comes to combinations held an angle he could have come to the back side of the brown seven for the left middle may still do so but you could see had to put a lot into that Q ball to get that [Applause] movement and you know whatever happens today this might just help him a little bit going into next year’s Moscone cup Assuming he’s on the US team again which I think is a safe assumption I think if he had come and lost all of his matches would have been hard to put behind him yeah especially I mean you got to consider through a couple of days this was certainly a very close match [Applause] he’s going forward this is [Music] tricky I don’t know I don’t know if he opened up for a pocket or not doesn’t seem too upset about it he’s shooting this combination [Applause] he talked about it after the shaw match that even up 40 Shaw kind of made sure he wasn’t shooting at anything low percentage and hate to say feder gor ever shooting at anything low percentage but was a little shocked he went after that combination Michael [Applause] [Music] [Applause] okay there is enough room to go forward going by the nine for the black eight in the upper left but he’s got to go quite a ways to get in that position and then if he over hits it a little bit they could become awkward now the speed’s really nice well you might remember Jeremy the opening team match in the Reyes Cup in Manila where Europe were four nil down came back to win 54 it was Mickey Krauss winning rack five which got that up and running yeah and that’s why I was still a little shocked these races to five can change quickly and understand that gorson why he’s so great is being aggressive but that was a tough combination especially wanting to fire it I thought he would kind of roll the ball in so it will not be our second white wash of the day we’ll get another look in a moment should be a safety can he pull him behind the purple oh this is going to come a little far and the Pink’s going to get somewhat near the pocket so the jump is pretty playable position on the purple five good luck you’re probably not going to get there but just try to make the four and work from there [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] I don’t know if he can attack here this is pretty thin I think it’s a two rail safety behind the nine he just kept it simple make sure making sure he contained the pink if you notice or remember yesterday Michael there were a couple of those safeties where they really let the object ball get away way had some big moments and we lost a lot of tactical battles in the last two days that being Team USA it’s been noticeable also the crowd really get into the Tactical battles they really appreciate it such a knowledgeable crowd here in Florida big area for line ball great shot there from Mickey probably the best shot of the tournament for him we we fouled one more time than they hit well not now cuz I fed every [Applause] shot I think he’s gotten snookered here I like the bank shot going into the three but we remember back at game number five whenever he got a little out of line had a bump on the green six went for a very difficult combination and this mat here is far from over it’s a difficult hit he may have to massay this ball he’s going to try and go three very odd cushions maybe a fourth you can see where he pointed the finger now the Slick table is exactly what you want for this type of kick shot it will open up a bit more more concern is getting by the brown seven foke yeah I was going to say I didn’t like the line he was [Applause] on now with the chance falling to CR to get back to only one [Applause] behind we are officially in a real contest here again yeah without a doubt Mickey has broke the balls well in this match he’s made the one fedck GST looking to to deliver the singles point for the first time in his American Moscone cup career Micky Krauss in the same position for Europe previous singles was that defeat to Tyler Styer on the opening day on Saturday and he still got a really good chance to do it yeah no real problems here overran the Q ball a touch but should be okay just coming one cushion for the nine this ball bit a little bit so he’s going to be stretched on a little bit of a cut [Applause] shot has missed quite a few balls at pressure moments over the last four days and not this one it’s a three in a row for Mickey cranks and all of a sudden Jeremy two racks away from winning the cup for Europe yeah really good stuff there from the rookie he’s going to try and jump this this is an awkward jump Michael he’s got to carry the three ball but then get the Q ball down quickly so basically he’s going to land on the blue two well the Kick’s got a lot of positives as well though going to the side rail with so much congestion on the bottom end [Applause] well he’s played many good jump shots throughout this wonderful year he’s had that would have been one of the best if he had pulled it off instead he’s left Mickey cruss a chance to take us hill [Applause] hill did get a little bump maybe fortunate it wasn’t any heavier cuz he still opened up for a shot on the red three certainly missable [Applause] though I don’t think he’ll do much here probably just pinch it back for the eight in the right middle side pocket got a little more cut on the eight than I expected did get the QQ ball off the rail though so still in good [Music] shape David ALC looking on Mickey KRA was little more than a spectator himself the first four racks Tyler sty on his feet trying to keep the belief going Wow it looked as though the moment had passed him by and as the eight ran round the table and feder gor was perhaps hoping he would get his chance CR is fluke the eight but what’s he got in the nine here Jay well it’s got to look like something not near as hard after fluking the eight in looks like he’s going to bank it he F the nine wow wow what an incredible finish to that rack in the course of those last couple of shots and Mickey Kow who hasn’t always been smiling to this Moscone really is now he’s got to win it or it’s Europe’s cup again there’s rarely ever a breaking run it seems like he’s one of the best Bankers in the game there is a crosss side Bank he can cut this in the corner as well I think it will be one of the two both offer position getting across for the red three boy he’s got to hit it pretty light here though to be able to hold coming across for the three and we’ll know probably a little bit before he does this twos in there was a sweater Michael seem to take an eternity to get [Applause] [Music] there I’ll tell you what Jeremy whatever the overall outcome is we’ve seen some wonderful memorable individual matches within this mosconi and this is another one yeah absolutely Michael and some incredible shots as well Stellar tactical play a few golden breaks has gotten perfect here just to come one rail down between the eight and nine I think that’s what he does the extension [Music] please he’s delivered big time at so many clutch moments this year but not this time Micky Krauss this could be your moment of Destiny let’s see what he’s [Music] [Applause] got doesn’t have much I don’t know if a jump is available if it’s a swerve to the rail trying to clip the pink in you can see the pink is very deep in that corner pocket though so no matter what is on offer it’s not easy [Applause] I’ll tell you if he can get directly at the rail first his demeanor tells tells me no but if he can get directly at it he can kind of just chip it in get to that good side of the table and take some kind of cut on the [Applause] five easy to whiff this ball he’s going to be okay this is going to go [Applause] enough now Marcel’s going to have to really earn his money watching this [Applause] [Music] hit oh was a foul yeah Marcel didn’t even call it that’s amazing he called it on himself that was a very obvious foul Michael and with that the chance may have passed by from Mickey k [Applause] well looks to be all over now Gorst was absolutely Sublime on the way to a 4-nil lead Mickey Krauss helped by those two moments of Good Fortune at the end of rack eight got at hill hill he had his chance to crinch the Moscone Cup on his debut but it’s gone now and fed gor has finally given himself something to cheer about in this mosone cup a wonderful singles contest goes the way of the champion of the world feder gor defeats Mickey Krauss by five rocks to four and the USA are still punching in the Moscone cup
