career right now numbers-wise right and so you look at what Russell Westbrook is doing Off the Bench you look at what these guys lost in the off season or even going further back from what they lost on from their Championship Squad and Bruce Brown Jeff Green and then they lost car uh cwell Pope this off season you have a bunch of young guys now like Christian Brown that’s coming in and now we’re looking for Jamal Murray to elevate his game fresh off a contract extension and he hasn’t done it so at the end of the day when you talk about a level of focus no you’re talking to yourself you’re talking to yourself maybe he was maybe he wasn’t but at the end of the day I’ve been waiting all season long for Jamal Murray to help yic out and bring his a game and he hasn’t done it this man it seems to me that they only get up to play Ste well first of all when I saw this score and I saw all the numbers I like ain’t no way they had a guy that had 40 points like 16 or 23 field goals you got that well all in one game I like what did they score 150 160 and then I looked at it it seems to me that the Nuggets only get up to play against the Lakers they that’s the only team I watched the Dallas Mavericks go into Denver minus Luca donic and beat him but then they go out the next night and they do a demolition job on the Lakers and I’m like well what’s going on Jamal this goes back to the uh uh Olympics uh per Stephen A did you see Jamal Murray in the Olympics could he help Shay guilis out could he help Barrett out could he help his his country out he played terrible in the Olympics I I don’t think I’m breaking news Jamal don’t ever ever fix your mouth to say what you said during the season if you want to say guys have Liv outside of basketball in the offseason do that Knicks wa the cats were chilling in La they didn’t come back with the T that’s basically what he said Shannon so that’s how I took it I was at the game Saturday night against uh against uh the Los this I will tell you this when I look at Jamal Murray there is cause for concern he’s only played the 13 games thus far this season all right same amount of game as joic right joic went you know wherever he went for the for the birth of his King congratulations to him and all of that other stuff played except he’s been playing Bo the man is averaging nearly 3013 and 11 I mean my God yic is just that dude okay Jamal Murray here’s what I would say to y’all he doesn’t look in shape sitting there Courtside looking up close he doesn’t look in shape and and your conditioning matters because especially when you play in the guard spot he can get his shot he can make shots he ain’t making it with the level of efficiency that we’re accustomed to seeing him didn’t do it in the playoffs last year certainly didn’t do it during the Olympics and even started off this season slow I don’t know what the hell is going on with him but the one thing that I do know is that I’ve looked at him in the past and he clearly has looked in better shape he’s looked a bit more spry in the past willing to run up and down the court that is not what I see right now and I think that’s a huge huge huge problem it really really is because if you everything that Mike Malone said it goes right out the window there’s no way you’re getting that from your cats if you are out of shape Aaron G’s been Aaron G has been gone the last nine games it’s a huge loss for them because the level of physicality and how how he helps assist joic on that front line it buffers them big time but without him other cats have got to step up like big perk said especially your Gods a guy like Jamal Murray but you cannot do anything y’all know this better than me fatigue makes cowards of us all as they say and if you ain’t in shape and you can’t you don’t have the legs to run up and down the court it is going to show in your game that’s what I see when I see Jamal Murray I don’t see a guy that’s in tiptop condition but but the question is why not like you think about going forget the Olympics for a second go back just to last postseason what Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels done to him defensively you remember he was throwing the temper tantrum and throwing the hot packs the heating packs at the referees the officials last season you remember that you remember how they made him look in that series you would think a guy that is scratching the surface of his prime will come back with a chip on his shoulder we watching we’re watching a guy like Donovan Mitchell do it we’re watching a guy like Jason Tatum who actually won the NBA Championship but was pissed off because of what happened happen in the Olympics we’re watching him do it we’re watching Anthony Edwards come back like he has like he got something on his mind Jamal Murray why are you not doing the same here’s my last Point Michael Malone called out joic and Murray about being vocal leaders right and here’s why I disagree with Michael Malone to that aspect just because those guys are your franchise guys it doesn’t make them leaders I have been in the locker room with plenty Hall of Famers over 15 Hall of Famers majority of them wasn’t a vocal leader in the locker room long as they come to perform you can’t expect them to do what they’re not what they’re not what they haven’t been doing their entire lives yic is not a vocal guy period but when he step between those lines that’s when his leadership take place yeah his his his play is his leadership ship he’s like guys look how I do things look at the way I play on the court look at the effort that I give you this is my leadership style not calling team meetings and things like that Stephen A maybe you’re right but but I don’t believe Jamal Murray should have said what he said because he made it seem like there are other things that are more important right now than basketball like staying in La just hey that’s when you have a meeting says guys look at the end of the day we are professional foot basketball team and we need to do things accordingly you call a meeting you have that discussed you don’t say that publicly because now you make it look worse and when you say we there are other interests what is more important during the season I get yic the birth of his child I get that 1,000% but to just to hang in LA and dilly dally around that’s not more important and it and you shouldn’t say it everything doesn’t need to be said publicly you can address that with your team once you guys got back to Denver and especially it have been a great time to address it last night after the way y’all got blown out that would be the time you see when we don’t take care of business when we don’t do pay attention to details this is what can happen to us but man that that just sounded bad to me Stephen that got leave it there it it does feel like folks are airing out dirty laundry quite a bit lately in both Sports uh nuggets 97 eth in the west right now guys coming
