how’s it going Debo just what does it mean to be able to go to Orlando with a chance for a 10th win you’ve been a guy talking about you know really wanting to make this year count for yourself and the team all year and you guys have done that but how special would it be to get double legit wins definitely special it means everything I think coach Beamer said it would be the fourth time it would happen in South Carolina history so it’s something we definitely want to leave our mark on all the preseason talk about you guys thinking it would be historic defense I guess that’s what Nick said um do you guys do you feel like you guys lived up to that expectation or do you feel like there could have been a little bit more I feel like outside views we probably lived up to it personally what like what I was saying all summer and media day and stuff going for donuts we wasn’t able to do that so we still got to do it in this bowl game so it’s stuff I still we got to do as a defense and handle so we haven’t lived up to it yet throughout this season how would you evaluate Fred Johnson’s growth from what you’ve seen from him and how excited are you to see him continue to grow next season yeah I got I expect nothing but the best from him especially next season coming in but he’s been just taking everything from me D night bam just seeing us do our things and he’s learned so much like I I love how he’s able to grasp The Playbook so fast you know I’ve never really seen a freshman be able to do that like me personally I wasn’t even able to do it that good so um I expect nothing but the best from him what would you say is the signature play of this season for this team One play that defines what this season was all about that’s a great question let me go with I’m g go with uh Lenoris Clemson played uh last play they scored on offense because they started you know it was third and 16 you know we started the season not as great as we wanted to be we was three and three and then for him to go out and score on that play us being undefeated in the last six or seven games I think that’s what it was I would definitely say that’s probably the closest thing I could say to our season what have the conversations been like between you bam deed Knight all playing your last game with South Carolina together uh are you able to take in a little bit the The Nostalgia or are you just completely focused on Illinois I feel like we take it in sometimes but not too much we we focus on Illinois like we just want to dominate you know and uh be our best versions of ourselves in our last game college football so appreciate y’all
