welcome back so this is the review of France and Argentina’s game I guess you know Bravo to France great win 14 points that first half was electrifying right it was it was great the atmosphere was there big crowd again sold out 81,000 people there so Bravo to the French for always putting it up is what I should say they’re always making a vent of it and the people get behind it now on to the game all right the French you know you can look at the here so three penalty goals each four tries to two three conversions to two 157 carries to the RGS and6 to France so great defense by the French I mean their defense was solid um they repelled the attacks a lot of times it looked like the argentinians were going to break through but then they just keep getting repelled sort of thing and the French kept holding on and you know they were really fighting for that win and um you can see here five turnovers to four turnovers and 12 turn overs each loss so a few handling mistakes possession and territory both to France so interesting all right you can see even scrums you know both not the best 75% 64% line outs the French line out got stolen a couple times and then they stole a couple back so was a a great battle um of those as well on attack as you can see post contact meters much more by the args but obviously way more carries as well four line breaks each and 10 to n penalties conceded two yellow cards to the argentinians which we’ll talk about because I think one of them is very much a BS call in my opinion um you so 87% tackle completion 84 by the Argentinian so good defense by both teams in reality very a very high playing game should I rather say now I want to break down hopefully they can kind of show you H let’s go from here maybe we’ll go okay so possession to Argentina 56% and yeah it’s that last 30 minutes the argentinians were just Relentless Relentless but we’ll start it off in the bottom right there’s the highlights of the game there um obviously a yellow card there at the start for Julian Montoya which I think was not a yellow card he did not purposely go onto his knee he yeah it’s one of those because a guy got injured I think they had to look at it but in reality it shouldn’t have been yellow card that’s you see that every day you know I play I still play rugby I know a lot of you might not have or may never have or just watch it but in club rugby that happens every single weekend and nearly every second to Third Rock there are no penalties there are no yellow cards why is this a yellow card bit ridiculous in my opinion but great Try by fibo Flame and um Thomas Ramos makes the conversion I mean just a well worth try you can see back of the line out boom just a well worth try I mean so much attentions paid to DuPont which as it should you know but just well worked really really good try there then you can see the next one here penalty kick to alanos um man alanos to me played really really good that guy he’s such a great find by the argentinians such a good player and always professional and he always his attack is really where I think he’s he’s very good um he kind of always wraps around the back of the Rock finds a bit of space links up in really just a really really good player great number 10 and then another penalty from Thomas Ramos another penalty by alanos and then Ramos the same thing again alanos again trading penalties for the next you know 15 minutes 10 to 15 minutes um that’s where kind of you could see a little bit of the tired legs were coming in but then a great try here by gabin viler breaks the tack I mean he’s a great player those two Wingers that France has are very very good great players in my opinion very very good players but before we kind of get out of this half here I think there’s a few things we need to to touch on um because even before that in the 30th minute um leading up before this the French number five did a seemingly like a high tackle head-to-head contact that was let go and then there was a penalty at halfway as well where Ramos did this 50 m you know penalty kick great kick by him yet again this is the this is on the ref there’s nothing to do with the French side but the number one didn’t take the contact for France because you could see so it took the hit and then you could see the number one gave away first so number one dropped a little bit first and then the three from Argentina went down because you know you can’t overextend like that and then penalty against Argentina um it’s a fair play but a very bad call and the ref was right in front of but you see that pinned actually later in the game the other way around so there’s just no consistency with these these scrums unfortunately there’s a reason why I think with scrums they should allow the first scrum to set so 30 seconds and then if the scrum has to reset I think it should be time off until the ball is put in so the ref should just go time off wait for the ball to be put in and then time on that’s just what I think because it’s wasting too much time it’s just wasting too much time and it’s allowing for bigger and bigger players to play because they’re playing less minutes and that’s where more injuries are going to happen again because bigger stronger people are playing and that’s why you see more and more injuries coming out as well from this now let’s get back into the highlights here I mean Dupont you know he is great as ever just such a such a class player and he’s always heads up you know he never see him at the Rock just head down like a lot of nines he’s always looking up looking up what he can what he can do little dink over here um which yeah this is very controversial this one here look where the ball bounced okay just just have a little bit of a look here where the ball is touched by the Argentinian 7 here and it lands inside his own Tri line okay inside his own TR line all right let’s break this down this this big call the penalty try you know 20 points to n changes 27 points to n just listen to this wording here by old ly Pier a little chip across from be is getting after it well there was a hand from Gonzalez now this may well be worth a look ar okay look where he touches it okay this is where he touches it this is about a meter and a half out of the tri line okay meter and a half BR has hit his left arm so he can’t get his left hand to come up to catch the his right hand is is coming up he’s maybe trying to grab with one hand how can he prove that he’s not trying to catch iter you see I want to look at this C me please my original view was he deliberately Taps it forward and into touch Taps it forward and into touch the ball bounces behind him where he touches it and then bounces and trickles over the sideline stopping the and I don’t see anything to change my mind at the moment he didn’t see any evidence to change his mind he’s going for the ball the ball went backwards it bounced over the sideline it’s not a purposely knocking it over the sideline or you know purposely doing it that’s Insanity to me man that’s insane what do you think about that let me know in the comments below that’s a knock back it’s a knock back any day of the week it’s ridiculous so straight off that kickoff where that penalty Tri scored kick off the French guy takes the tackle places the ball holding on the the number eight from Argentina is right over it holding the ball and he’s looking at the ref even after he got pushed off he goes to ref what he’s going on and you never see Jian getting kind of you know annoyed of the ref then you also get there’s a quick tap from a penalty um that ton takes which he knocks on he Taps it hits the ground he touch with hands goes a bit forward then picks it up I mean I watched the replay slowed it down I’ve seen it okay they didn’t show the replay on normal TV but that’s the advantage that we have we can replay it ourselves so just rewind play it in slow motion everything and the the thing for me to you see so deont does a normal pass you know he just passes the ball off the back of ack as soon as he lets it go he gets tackled penalty penalty for a L tackle says Mr Pierce smiling while he’s doing it um you know a lot of us said this years ago because remember when rich rich mcco is the best player in the game whatever you know a lot of people called him protected blah blah blah I think Dupont is also one of the most protected players in World rugby right now because you look at anything right and this is not to do with him but this is to do with also the crowd and everything because as soon as he even just gets tackled normally you even seen in the World Cup quarterfinal a normal tackle was made against them then the whole crowd’s like whistling like they they don’t even want Dupont to be touched to them he’s like a little little God and that’s where I think world rugby needs to go he’s another player stop freaking trying to treat him differently it’s insane to me um so that’s just a couple of the things also the another one that I seen that the French get away with yet again fair play to the French so I’m just not disliking the team this is just the ref allowing them to get away with it is many times you’ll see you know when the knees hit the ground whatever it might be for a tackle when they trying to hold them up the ref says you know tackle complete let go the ball I’ll let go the player and then the French will kind of hold on for another 3 seconds looking at the ref and then he’ll go hey you got to let go and then they let go so it’s fair play to them but the ref got to realize after a couple they’re doing it on purpose slowing that ball down that’s like someone laying and you’re not being able to get to ball yeah another one the ref clear ignored a high tackle so the F so the argentinians are right on the French line in about the 42nd minute the number one drops the ball cold and then he gets smoked in the face with with a shoulder um which is clearly you know a high tackle and by the way that the refs and World Rugby’s been going that should have been a penalty at least um nothing was done about it um so let’s continue sorry seeing isup to 5th minute in the 54th minute olivant the number eight for France clearly has a cynical penalty I mean if the argentinians make a Break um gets tackled olivant is not he’s not holding his body weight he’s on the ball Falls Over The Rock still grabs the ball still throws the ball backwards cynical and it’s on a break you know the ref just gives a penalty um even the the comment who were on the French side all night they were like that’s cynical that’s very cynical he’s lucky to get away with that and I agree but anyway let’s continue so great Try by gallor he well deserved um here as you’ll see just a pick and drive good power gets low and gets that extra Push by the six Sorry by Pablo Mata so great work by him but yeah 21 comes on gets charged down two times in a row um and you can see why because he takes so long with his kick he takes a big step back has a big load up and then does but great Counterattack here by the French um Ramos Lou um man that guy is electric um yeah he’s he’s my French player of the day the number 11 Louie be BR um man he played well he’s just such a good player he might be super skinny super small probably only like 74 kilos but the dude is a gun look at that little grubber kick through off the left straight past try no way of stopping that no way of stopping that you got another try here for the argentinians but another thing leading up to this as well so at this point here I’m thinking hm maybe my prediction can kind of be a little bit closer cuz I said France to win 34 points to um 29 I was like oh come on surely surely one more try from the argentinians just kind of put my prediction a little bit closer but you know great win by the French it’s still well deserved they they did dominate in the attack and they made the most of the opportunities as they always do they might not have the possession in every game but yeah just good good players good team and you can see that they don’t have a lot of depth unfortunately in the prop section at the moment so they got Antonio at three the other three got injured last week the number through you know the big young guy he’s he’s got a lot of talent um who came on on the substitution number 17 but the only thing is he he gets demolished in the scrums he’s always popping up because there’s too much pressure on him and man yet another one that’s another one so the argentinians were destroying the scrum there at the end the argentinians were you know right over the French scrum same thing again so on the 5 met line both go in Argentinas are going forward then you just see you know the French guys pop and then the argentinians pop and the ref goes oh both you up reset the scrum what oh it’s like Pier old Luke Pier did not want to give one penalty to freaking Argentina to make this game any closer than it should be he obviously got told there’s a bit of a yeah it’s just ridiculous man it was honestly the first half was one of the most biased you know halves of ring I’ve ever seen in my life it was and I’m not even Argentinian support I’m not a French supporter um I don’t have a skin in this game but I even picked the French to win but that is just ridiculous like just bad you could tell that he didn’t want to you know have to give penalties out because how I told you about that Dupont one where he just passed and he got tackled penalty was given they kicked the three points exact same thing happened to Alor so he passed the ball and they got tackled looked a little bit late for me it’s play on anyway but no penalty there but if it’s dupon penalty it’s it’s insane to me and the only thing about the friend team that I don’t like is they always stay down and they always complain you always see Louis baret like this with his hands up every time and then you always see um deont always going you know High tackle High tackle um you know the game is changing and it’s becoming more and more like football like soccer and it shouldn’t be it shouldn’t be you know play the damn game move on with it if you really think this Foul Play go to the referee and talk to him you know with your captain you don’t need to go and constantly be like the game’s kind of yeah it’s ridiculous in our in our club games here every weekend where I play half the team would be down every freaking tackle because every second tackle a high tackle do we all stay down no we don’t we play on get on with it seriously off the back of a scrum as well olivant clearly knocks it on um you know off the back of a scrum the ref says no play on Luke Pier says play on luckily the touch Joe said it’s a knock on so he had to get overruled yeah that was that’s all I wrote down because just frustrating man very frustrating to watch from a neutral perspective the argentinians were very hard done by by The Ref last week as well in Ireland it’s almost as if you know they don’t want these upsets to happen on the away soil and we’ve seen those calls being made we’ve seen in the past when traveling teams go to another country they don’t get any of those 6040 calls they just get like you know only if it’s a clear penalty um but Luke p is shocking game by him man shocking game um let me know what you thought about the ref I mean the thing that annoys me is a lot of people who probably have never played rugby a lot of people who’ve just watched rugby only recently they haven’t even watched it for a long time and they they all think that they’re experts I’m no expert myself either but at least I can say you know this stuff happens in club rugby as well and nothing’s done about it why in international game do these professional players make such a big deal about it and international game no matter what people try to say they try to say the the top 14 is the you know where the money’s at blah blah blah International Rugby is where the money is it always will be just cuz in France you might have a you know the money’s in the clubs the rest of the world the money is not in the clubs the rest of the world the money is unfortunately in International Rugby and the top 14 is to me the top club rugby competition in the world and deservedly so but they only get 14,000 people average to the games where you know you go to URC it’s about 11,000 you go to um Super Rugby it’s nearly 14,000 as well so it’s not like they get more attendance it’s just more money being pumped into it yeah so Club rugby will and has never never been the the Pinnacle of the sport it never will be it’s just not people don’t go people can’t tell me half the the top the the teams in top 14 you can’t tell me half the you know some people can’t even say five teams in super rby so Club rugby never will be bigger unfortunately that is why you don’t get 81,000 players to go 81,000 people to a normal to lose game but you get it to a normal France game right exactly proof is in the pudding but I’ll end there well done to the French player of the match Lou be B the left Winger man go-getter and then play of the match for me for Argentina alau played a really really good game that’s the end of it hopefully you know good luck to the French in the in the Six Nations they might pick to actually win the whole competition I think um the way they’ve been playing if you know barring injuries and all that type of stuff and Thomas Ramos man that guy I don’t know why they haven’t put him at 10 before the guy is a killer the guy is insanely good he he’s good on attack he’s good on defense his kicking is great his
