all right uh good morning at 4:30 in the afternoon hope everybody’s doing doing well happy signin day um you know just before I I get started um you know I’m going to I’m going to kind of Reserve this time and this press conference just towards the uh the young men that were signing in this in this class um you know the guys that uh you know have been processed there’s still a couple of uh um you know um forms that that um that we’ll be you know waiting on and surprise some more guys here in the next few days uh I whenever I’m going to you kind of push back any any staff uh questions Personnel obviously that’s that’s a part of transition for us but we will have we’ll have announcements potentially another press conference here at a a further date to really address all all issues when it comes the staff I want today to be focused on the uh young men that are joining our program um and very very excited about uh the group we have 15 guys uh at this time uh that that have our our official um U newcomers to uh to Florida State football and definitely excited about this group and you know I think that you know as you go through a season um you it’s been a season of challenge you know a season of change and you know it’s been a uh you definitely a remarkable journey of with h you know building relationships pouring into individuals you know identifying needs um you know to of guys that can come in I think make a a great impact to the program uh you I think there’s a lot of guys on this list that will be uh you know immediate you you know impact players have a chance to um you know really you know let their presence be felt you know not only with you know their athletic skill and talent but you know really just the the mindset the maturity you of of who they are you the drive uh that they have and I think there’ll be a wonderful compliment to uh you a lot of the returning players that we have coming back and uh you know this as you look at the list um you know we hit a variety of different positions but size jumps off at you I mean we got great length in this class it was something that we knew we needed to uh address you know we wanted to to make sure that um you know that’s something that we continue to push upon um you I thought that was something at times this year uh where you know we could you know we could be better and that was something that we wanted to uh basically add into the program uh along with the the the playmaking ability and uh you know as as you you look over over the years and making sure that you know we’re continuing to grow um you know in the guys that we’re bringing in you know I wanted wanted to play makers I wanted guys that uh you know there’s not not as many U you know projections in this year’s class uh these are guys that I think are very well established in in what they’ve done uh they are guys that I do think will come in and you have opportunities to grow and develop uh you know throughout their Journey but I mean these are guys that I think are are a definitely a special group of um you know you know proven Playmakers and you’re definitely uh you’re excited about you know what what they’ll be able to do early in their careers whether it’s uh a junior college player whether it’s a uh um you know a freshman that’s coming in you know I think these guys are are definitely an exciting group to be able to watch uh with with you know great size uh great ability and you know I think it’ll be you know dynamic players you within our program uh you got to you know give thanks to everybody involved in this in this process from our academic team um to our recruiting team uh to professors that are that are within campus to you know all of our coaches uh that has spent countless hours in building relationships uh you know to the um to everybody around you this University that you know help put on display uh you what it is to to be a Florida State seminal and you know the the countless hours of investment and uh you know just taking the time to uh uh to paint the vision for what the future holds uh you for for each and every one of these young men uh you I thank you for the for I think the recruits that uh you obviously have signed here today but I also thank the ones that have given us opportunity and you know there’s some remarkable young men that uh you have made choices to to to go elsewhere and and uh you know obviously forged their journey and but they gave us a a wonderful you know chance to to build relationships uh you to identify um you know you know guys that obviously were really excited about adding to the program and then uh you know obviously guys that uh you know I think what you have chosen um you know what they felt was the best fit for them so uh it was been a uh it’s been a a different year just because of how this how this Signing Day um you know Falls you know right after the season especially you know with having a couple of open positions you know within our staff and uh you know I think there’s some challenges that presented itself but you know the the commitment from these guys that have signed today uh you some at at positions where we don’t have currently have a position coach um it’s a belief in in who and what we’ll be able to do um really just you overall this program and and where it’s going and um you know I’m a lot of excitement um with with a couple of the hes that we’ve made and you know I think there’s going to be a great deal of momentum as we’re pushing forward first CHR Kevin WS a young man that you had committed for some time but you had to battle to the buzzer to keep him just what is he potentially for you guys and how good of a class you like around him I mean he was he was definitely one of the guys throughout this process that has been pinpointed um I would say you know last couple of years and to see a guy with his size um you know he’s he’s got tremendous uh explosive you know get off you know he’s such an impactful player uh you know the way that he moves I mean it’s he’s unlike anybody else in the country in my opinion you know he’s just um he’s so explosive and you know as we transition um you know into a new year and and uh you know obviously um you we’re going to attack on defense that’s going to be something that we’re going to do and he is he’s somebody that we’ve identified that that is the greatest trait when I think he’s listed at 320 might be a little bit more than that but uh you’re definitely uh uh excited about you know the the playmaking ability uh that he brings uh into this program I I think that he will have a chance to to make an early impact obviously when you’re playing in in the trenches um you know that’s a it’s a hard position to transition but I mean he does he’s got the skill set and um you know definitely uh um the mentality that it takes to to be able to have a chance to do that so really excited about being able to hold on to Kevin and it was I mean it was a battle and you know I think you Odell did a wonderful job uh you throughout it you building a relationship with everybody around um you know I I love the young man um you I was on the phone with him late last night and you know so he told me he was he was uh you solidifying that commitment and uh you just so excited about what he’s going to bring into this program you know on off the field uh because this is he is a young man that is you know he is the total package and you know for what he does what he does in between the white lines ESP special who he is you know outside of them is just absolutely remarkable beow your right you mentioned the uh the length uh especially the skill positions receiver tight end was that something that you guys were seeking or you just those were guys you liked it worked out that way no I mean we wanted to we wanted to go big I mean as I mean to say it that way uh um you know adding adding Jordan you know being able to uh uh you know to to go through and see what he is uh Tariq who who uh you know joined the joined the class here um you know I think it was last night verbally obviously signing here today I mean that’s 65 and 67 um we’ve had a lot of success with with you know guys of of of that size and you know just the the matchup problems that that can create um and The Playmakers that they are and that’s you know you you see on film what we’ve asked guys to do here and you know yes do they have a high ceiling do they have high potential but I think they can come in and and really be able to address a need um you know for what coach mazon’s looking for uh for what we’ve what we’ve been accustomed to to seeing and you know excited about you know just the the total package of what those guys can be you know I think you know one of the stars of the class is Chase Lofton um you know there’s he has been he’s been our top Target he’s been the guy that we’ve wanted uh you know as this thing has has gone through uh you know building a relationship with him um getting him on campus it was no doubt that the the the playmaker in space you know he is a hybrid and can do it real can really do it all um he’s one of the toughest matchup problem you know uh I think players in the country um and I mean he’s got great speed great playmaking um you know great hands you know and then you know he’s also got a great deal of toughness that you know when he’s got to when he when he has to come inside the box I mean you can you can feel him there as well so uh and then he’s just a remarkable person and he has been been true through the process I think Chris Thompson did an outstanding job uh you know building that relationship being able to paint the pitcher um and you know he’s going to be he’s going to be a guy that we’re very very excited about um you know coming in and then you also in the defensive backfield uh you know being able to I mean we got three you know three defensive backs that have joined the program uh all with great length I mean you know Z Thomas uh just you know a corner from from American heritage you know I think he’s going to be an outstanding player very versatile in coverage and what he can do playing up playing off you know getting his eyes to the quarterback and he’ll put his pads on you um you know definitely you it is it is special too with him you know a member of the seminol tribe of Florida I mean being a part of this class um what a what a remarkable story and um you know as I’ve told him throughout this journey I mean he earned it he did it you know he’s come up to camps uh you he he put himself in a position and really was a key Target in the second somebody that we wanted to to to have a part and being a leader of it um uh you know you sit there and you you look at Max uh um you know he’s you know I think he is the versatility that he brings um you know Max Redmond I mean I think he is just a uh a guy that can really play all five positions I mean he’s got length he’s got versatility he was a guy that you know a few years back was saw saw in a camp and uh you know I think he’s you pushing you know 61 62 um you know he’s just you know such a a a um a diverse skill set and you know I think he has the ability to play some some corner I think he has ability to play safety uh you know playing deep or you know being able to force himself into the box and then uh today you know being able to get Shamar I mean that was that was a top Target for us and you know he’s gone through this process and uh he is a guy that of of all the guys we had come came to camp this summer I mean he was the one that stood out to me as much as anybody and you know he was he’s been a great player on the field when I got to see him in person I mean it was no doubt and he’s been he’s been a top Target somebody that we absolutely wanted and needed in this class um and I think he’s going to be a special player uh for for years to come you know and has a chance to definitely make an early impact with what we’re doing here and when you see you know another 6-2 corner I mean that’s something that you know we’ve really tried to address over these last few years and I mean you know coach Ran’s doing a great job at developing those guys and you know it’s kind of speaking for itself next uh We’ve we’ve talked a little to to Kevin SP I guess here his side of the story about how that kind of came together late I guess what can you speak to about your your relationship with him and what stands out about his skill set obviously a guy who played at a high level of high school football in Texas I love Kevin and I mean he is you know he came here I want to say it’s two years ago um two or three years ago and I’ll never forget the first time I saw him out here on the on the uh on the practice field and you know going through our quarterback camp and I mean you know you heard about you know this you know young young man from Dallas that was going to be here and you know he he just exploded throughout the course of the day I mean it was impressive watching the ball jump off his hands uh you know the the accuracy the um you know the kind of precision in the passing game that he showed you know they’re you know that young in his career you know it really just the ball jumped out of his hand um you know that’s when we offered him I was very confident in what his career would be and you know he’s he’s definitely uh not not proving me wrong he is a uh you know you look at what he did last year in the state of Oklahoma um you know leading leading his his football team this year he’s in the semi-finals uh you know there in in um you know the in the highest classification there in in Dallas in the state of Texas um you know what he does with his arm is is special what he does with his legs I mean it really is it makes him very Dynamic and when the opp the opportunity presented itself um you know for us I mean it was a it was a you know obviously and opportunity to reach out to uh guys that we thought were going to be a great fit for our program and uh you know Kevin is an absolute home run for us and so so excited about bringing him in you know for the player but you know also the young man I mean his you know his family you know even early in the process before he committed to another school had came out multiple times we got a got a chance to really build a relationship there and you know the good Lord got us back to uh to be in together and you know he’s going to be one heck of a quarterback here at Florida State next will be Matt third on your right uh you talked about Chase Lofton I think he’s actually the first player to ever come here from Nebraska what does that just say about Florida State the brand all that kind of stuff that you can go to a state like that where it’s hard to take kids out of state and get them to come here yeah you know what you know Chase is a is a special player and you know coming you know being um you know one the top players you know in that state and choosing to come here is you know it’s exciting and uh you know it’s um you know there was a lot of lot of pressure and you know had a lot of schools pursuing him uh but he was he knew what he wanted and you know was very specific in looking at you know you know offenses coaches position coaches um you know opportunity and um you know I just think it really all came together and you know it was a position of need it was one that we needed you know obviously we got uh you know Landon and you know obviously even Amari who um you know when Amari came here you know was signed as a defensive end but knew he would be an athlete and you know as he came in as a true freshman you know wanted to get him on the field earned that and at the as a role at tight end and you know we’re going to we’re going to really look at him a lot here this spring at defensive end as well um because I still think he can do you know do both and uh you know with that opens even a greater door of opportunity for for Chase to come in and have a chance to make an immediate impact because I think he absolutely has a has the skill set to do so and um you there will be a transition but you know he he identified what he wanted and and so did we and for that to be able to uh to stay true throughout this process process I mean I’m I’m definitely excited to coach him we’ll go to your coach you mentioned a little bit earlier but how tough was it recruiting down the stretch without a full coaching staff and then along those lines how important has coach Maan been just in the 48 hours to kind of finish out this class no I mean it’s uh they’re definitely you know real challenges and uh you know especially when you’re you know the high the the the high-profile players that we’re on I mean it is you know it’s it’s every day for the last three years I mean that that the that it’s been building and and working and then when there’s change I mean it’s hard and I’d like to tell you that um you know that were we were able to overcome it in every situation we weren’t and uh you know I respect those young men for the time they gave us uh for the for the opportunity to build relationships and some of them chose to go uh in you know different places where maybe you know they had a little bit more familiarity uh with what that looks like and you that’s fine and it’s it’s part of the you know part of the uh the challenge when there is change and you know but uh you I’m definitely excited for the guys that we have and uh um you know what that’s meant and you know for the ones that believe in you not only the place um you know the people that are in those rooms where our current players um and then you know obviously what what I’m going to be able to do in bringing bringing the right assistant and you know there’s some positions that you it would have been great to have somebody you know in position but uh you know it’s all about being right and that’s that’s that’s our number one Focus what is the right fit uh you for for us when it comes to the leader of of each position and then uh I think we’ve hit a grand slam with our with our coordinators uh I think it’s uh you know definitely exciting for what uh you know the choices that we’ve been able to make and you know what’s uh you know what’s ahead second row coach I’m not sure if you’ve ever had twins on the roster but Mandrell and uh Mandrell and Daryl um just you know what do they bring and how excited are you to come have them come into the class you know those are two guys that uh you talk about um potential growth I mean they’ve done that throughout the high school process and you know to see what you there are two guys I was I was really high on their potential they come they’ come to camps you you saw the movements you saw um you know the ability but you know what was the size going to look like what was that how is how are we going to project that uh moving forward and just the way that they have have progressed through their High School career I mean it was we got a few games into their senior season and these those two guys became you know priorities for us and that was I was excited to be able to um to get them here and you know they’ve they they were uh you committed to a to a another University and uh it’s good to have Coach miles on here and some familiarity of uh of that but I mean you those guys did make them make the decision of uh you know to come be at Florida State and is because of the opportunity um but I am am really really excited about what you what their future is going to be the opportunity to come and they bring a physicality as well as an athleticism with great size um you know they’re going to be impactful forces on our defensive line Bruno mention that he may kick and punt for you is that the expectation also just talk about him as a kid he seems no I mean he is he’s special and uh you know obviously in today’s in today’s age with the the new 105 roster count that’s to be you know in times where you could potentially carry more you know tickers and as Walk-Ons you over that uh you I wanted and you know I think coach coach you know JP’s done a done a great job in that room coach Barfield um you and identifying the right guys I mean I think we got you know the the next two stars uh you know uh are guys that you know that have been here within the program and but I wanted to bring somebody that was absolutely going to challenge to be and to be able to challenge early uh to compete for for all things and you know Bruno is one of those you know special uh you know players that is a combination I think I I don’t know rankings uh you know but it’s I think he’s two and three you know and whether kicker and punter or you know somewhere close to that um but he was number the number one guy for us because of that versatility and to be able to know that he’ll come in and you’ll have a chance to compete and push in both positions uh we’ll we’ll be able to surround you know you know that that Specialist Group uh with really you know really a talented group and have great depth and great competition and so there is a standard of Excellence uh when it comes to that you’ll hear you know those positions here at Florida State and you know definitely you fired up for Bruno being a part of that second right you you’re talking about the the quarterback and how you liked how he looked those couple of days at Camp um two or two years ago how much do you put into what you see in those first two or three days and then like okay he did great out here this isn’t a real game let me go see what he looks like on film let me go see his stats how much does that play when you’re looking at all these guys at a camp the production they actually have I me yeah I mean you have to produce and there’s there’s a they still got to play the play The Possession and you there there’s plenty of guys and go out there and look great in a camp but they can’t it doesn’t transition you know you like you would You’ want to now there’s there’s been there’s been some players that you know I watched in Camp and there was no doubt in my mind what what it was going to be I mean the talent the abil to you know U Luke L was I mean we offered Luke and he he had played some at quarterback but I mean he was a starting you know receiver and and safety as sophomore year and we offered him before his Junior season and you know I just his mentality the ability you know I had no doubt what it would look like we accepted his commitment and then he goes and wins the state championship as junior year becomes one of the best quarterbacks in the country a senior year um you know I I believe in I know what it looks like and I I’ve got a lot of uh confidence in in you evaluating that position um especially when you get to see you get to see those guys early and then the progression of of of how they ascend and I think you know Kevin was one of those guys I mean you watched them you were excited and that’s obviously why we offered him uh you know we did get a commitment you know you pretty early in the process in that Year’s class uh but he did everything I expected him to do and you know as you know what you saw early and then you know the opportunity uh you know Rises to say all right well these you know who is it that you’re going to Target who is it that’s going to be the right fit and you go and you watch his film and you know for what he did on a practice film with his arm to what you watch the combination of what he can do with his arm and his legs like this guy’s got a chance to be the real deal and uh you I’m I’m grateful to have him in our class and you know he’s going to be I said he’s got a chance to be special go to Jerry front row on your right coach how many of these which of these players will be able to enter in January oh Jerry that’s a good qu I would say it’s a I don’t have that in front of me um there’s a couple of them that you know we we’ll announce um you know as well but I mean it’s going to be it’s going to be a good number of them I would say I think 10 plus of these guys will be here I don’t I would I don’t I don’t have it on my top of my head right now to Nick coach Ethan rich is a kid that’s been committed to this program for a long time and he’s never really wavered in that commitment just if you could speak a little bit on him as a person and also just how versatile he is on the field having played a little bit of safety playing a little bit of linebacker what what’s what are you looking for for him to do no he is a I mean I I’ve I’ve watched Ethan say his freshman year and I’ll never forget the first time I walked in into the weit room uh you’re his freshman year and just talking to his coaches and you know it it was it was in January and just I remember a M’s coach at the time pointed out he goes that one that one right there is going to be one to watch he was playing safety came over to seven on seven that summer um you know got a chance to to see him we offered him uh his bodies continued to grow uh you know he’s a he is a fast and athletic linebacker that plays with a pissed-off mentality and I love it I mean he is just uh he’s about all the right things uh he’s had a lot of a lot of people that have come in and tried to tried to sway him one way or the other um but he has been he’s been committed to Florida State uh this is a you know it’s a it’s a great and special relationship with him and just so very excited about uh you know what he’s going to bring and even as we um you know look at you know different elements of what we can do defensively I mean this he could be one has a chance to to do some great things early uh just because of his speed and power um but excited about Ethan be as back right coach I feel like the more I read up on this the more I conf the more confused I get so if you could help about what’s changed with with the national letter of intent and just I guess whether that’s a binding thing has anything changed in terms of the way guys sign an they don’t sign they don’t sign a national inent anymore does that change anything at all uh they they sign a grant and aid um so they’re they’re tied to that and that’s really where the and uh I get nli what is which one is it n nli okay very good H they both me money now right so it doesn’t doesn’t really matter but so that one’s been removed and uh um you know obviously the the Granton Aid is basically replaced you know that um and so it’s there going to be a lot of different Dynamics and not I don’t think it’s a as it moves forward there will be you know obviously agreements there will be you know all things between schools and players and you know is a new age but you just eliminate one of the sheets of paper you don’t have to Circle am on it and send it back and all the all the different dynamics of what it would take getting things clarified so coach Tylan Coleman a Joo Prospect is he a guy that you think could make an impact early on in his career I do and he was one that we saw early this um this fall and you know looking at at the defensive tackle position you know you know really was looking for you know lengthened athleticism and you know’s he’s not the tallest guy in the world he’s got for 34 in arms I mean he is active plays extremely hard you know one of thing my favorite things of watching him on film is just the redirection and you know to be you know 300 you know 300 lbs um you know to to move the way he moves and you know just the the effort that he plays with um he absolutely loves it and you know to be able to get him out of the state with you know instate Pursuit was was big and you know definitely you he’s here this last weekend um you know really he made a great impact on me just you know having the conversations um of what it is that he’s looking for what it is that he wants to do you know his drive and passion um great questions you know he really sees this as a as a big pitcher experience for him um yes as a player but also you know his growth as as an individual and you know his I think he’s got a chance to really be a good player here to on your right you mentioned earlier uh the challenges with the coaching situation um how were you able to keep Mario without him knowing who his position coach was going to be and then also flip another player when yeah you know uh Mario is is remarkable I think uh you know I think you know Gabe fortia did a did a wonderful job with you know both of those guys um mean really you know worked his tail off and you know throughout the year and just building a relationship um and you know obviously what changes hard but you know those guys believe in the program they believe in the leadership of of what we’re doing and they believe in the opportunity that’s here for them and you know Mario is a remarkable young man such such uh great position flexibility I mean he plays the game with the right mentality um you know watching his body grow he’s he came over to multiple camps he came and and and made a a great investment to uh to learn more about the university learn more about the opportunity uh and then it’s been a a great benefit for me to watch him grow and you know I’ve got no doubt in in what his future will be I think he’s extremely athletic um you know a powerful young man and then you know being able to add Shawn is just um you know another guy that came to Camp like this summer and when he left Camp I mean he became a a a absolute Target for us in what we wanted to uh uh to try to get you know he was committed to another school obviously multiple schools have been recruiting him throughout this process and it it came down to you know a tough decision um but uh you know he believes in in who we’re going to be able to uh to attract here you know the opportunity that’s that’s in store and you know just fell in love with Florida State and uh uh the guys that are here you’ve got uh 15 on this sheet of paper do you think it’ll be in the neighborhood of 20 by the time the week is over uh think it’s got a we’ve got opportunities there I mean there’s uh you know I would definitely say you know 1920 should be a good look and because the calendar is so goofy immediately you go into essentially portal season how much do you try I know we’re talking about the high school kids but how much do you try to uh when you’re recruiting high school kids you’re also thinking about portal additions and how many do you even have a number of how many portal guys what you what this roster overhaul could look like um you know you try to always have projections now I mean while we’re doing this I met with I think 30 players of our current players I met with another I mean even proba 15 today and you know there’s some real conversations happening you know some guys are going to be uh you know going to explore other options and going in the portal themselves and uh you know this is a it’s it’s one of those things that’s kind of a you know a fluid situation on you know what your roster is going to look like what it’s going to be um you know there’s some extreme Challenge that’s being issued um in in our meetings and you know like I said after our last game I mean it’s it’s getting right this is going to be like you’re either in or you’re not this is you know you know there’s going to be a sense of desperation right when it comes to our daily focus of what it’s to take to go win and to to get this program back and that’s what these guys that sign today are signing up for that’s what the the guys that uh um as we as we go into Pursuit for any other additions into our program man it’s going to be it’s going to be a heck of a ride and I’m I’m very very excited about how my meetings are going uh you know just the The Edge the mindset um you know kind of the the thrust of it energy um that has come into the program I mean this is going to be it’s it’s big and you know the the real ones will be here and that’s what that’s what uh that’s what it’s going to take J as I look at this list there’s about half of these guys almost half of them that were somewhat of a surprise or a pleasant surprise that they committed today um how long ago did you know this was coming together um you know there’s some of these you know it was uh there were some pleasant surprises on our end there were some guys that um um you know we’ve had a pretty good pretty good sense of and U you know it’s kind of a good good mix you know of all of it and I mean we’ve worked really hard uh we’ve tried to you know we’re not looking to add bodies and that’s as you as you sit there and you go through it there’s no position you know in that we just need to sign a guy we we have trying to identify all right what is it that this young man brings to our program that can help contribute as fast as possible but also fill the needs that we have um to to get our program and to to push our program forward and um you know I think that you know some some of these guys have had you know different Dynamics in their own uh recruitment of you know what they what they’re looking for um what they wanted to what they want it to be and you know they see the opportunity that’s in store here they see you know what we’re doing where we’re going and uh they have a lot of excitement as we do of how this can all come together and you know obviously what the future holds for them mat uh you just mentioned it and you said it after the Florida game as well how you said like this is going to get fixed how much does some of these pleasant surprises and that kind of stuff show fans or show people outside of the program that this is the start of that getting fixed yeah I mean it’s um you know you can take it how you want to take it I mean my focus is going to get this team better and uh you know I I hope I hope the fans are excited I am I’m excited about you know the guys that we’re bringing in players coaches I mean this it’s a it’s got to got a chance to be a really really good group um through a through a challenging circumstance and um you know it’s it’s one of those things that you know we we talked about it throughout the season I’m asked about it all the time of like what’s the message what’s it going to be it’s still it’s always it’s it really is the same I mean you got to you got to choose to want to be a difference you got to choose to want to be you know a spark whether you win a crap ton of games or whether you don’t I mean that’s what you have to come into it with um I don’t want anybody coming in here just to be a part of this program I want them to come in here and I want them to fight to go make this program better and you know as a fan when you see you know that type those type of decisions when you see that type of belief in what and who is there I mean you should get excited and um you know I think when you look at and you see the the the coaches that are that are joining in our program which you know I already said I’m not going to an into to them but you know in the conversation but when you see the choices of saying that no that’s where I want to be that’s exciting and when players see that they fuel off of it and so there’s a buzz within the program and there needs to be and because it’s going to take every every bit of of that passion that energy uh that mindset to go and attack what’s ahead and so you know there’s there’s going to be there there will be more that are joining the program and there’ll be there’ll be some that’ll be leaving the program program and you know I I respect them all but the ones that are here it’s you know it’s definitely uh time to go get it last one follow up on that topic when you’re having those conversations um and if guys tell you with their words that they’re ready for what you want to do but if you haven’t always seen it in their actions how do you make those those decisions um um some of them they don’t have the choice to they don’t have the choice I mean it’s uh if I haven’t seen it in any action or I don’t believe it then they’re not going to be here that’s that if I see the if I know they have it in them and I’ve seen the flashes of it and now it’s time to to you you know take that step and it’s time to prove it with the words I mean you’ll know through spring thank God there’s there’s another opportunity at the end of it for those that that change their mind or maybe can’t live up to that they’ll they’ll they’ll have a they’ll have a path to do something else but I believe in the players that that I have I really do and you know we’ve got a lot of great great young men that uh you know they’re pissed off with what we’ve done and we all have ownership in it and you know it is it’s time to go get it right and we can sit here and talk about it we can sit there and um you know try to you know say all the all the right things but I mean it’s it’s going to come down to the actions and you know for the class that we put together uh for the work that we put into recruiting for the the work we’re putting in in our evaluation the work that those players are putting into um to the to the offseason program that is ahead I mean you know it’s uh it won’t be hard to won’t be hard to spot because if it doesn’t show up then you know they’ll choose to go do something else all right thank
