I know I’ve got to address a lot of people here people aren’t happy Benson has been at it again he’s not uploaded a six things we learned video after Chelsea are beaten yes guys that would be correct welcome back to the George Benson football channel we are here it has been a long journey Boxing Day Chelsea were beaten by Fulham we’re going to discuss that today we’re also going to preview the IP switch game in one video there’s a bit of a mess happening right now and it’s not like the end of the world kind of mess but I’ll let you in on the information first of all boxing day there was 40 people at Georgie’s grandma’s house and there was a big birthday thing going on didn’t have time to film went home and basically spent 30 hours on an airplane via China to get back to Barley that’s why you didn’t get your six things we learned video it wouldn’t have gone out if Chelsea would have won if they’d have drawn but they lost so it looks as though I’m being lazy it’s not the case and now we get back to our house we’ve been gone for 7 days it’s been non-stop rain like crazy ass Monsoon weather here and we have got a dreadful mold infestation in my house which is an absolute nightmare we’ve got to move out again vacate the premises so that someone can come in and fix it it’s pretty urgent because it’s very bad even in my office which I’ve kind of cleaned it today but there’s still like mold spores everywhere so I I can’t basically be here it’s very unhealthy if you know anything about getting rid of mold please let me know in the comments down below because in Indonesia you pay someone to do something and the job is not really quite done very well well so we’ve got a bit of an issue but we’re okay the world is still spinning I’m still healthy the girlfriend’s fine everything is okay all right but it’s a flipping nightmare so is Chelsea getting beaten at home to Fulham on boxing day we went into this game and to be fair I was excited I thought that the draw away at Everton isn’t really a bad result I looked at it and I thought well if we’ had done that last season we’d have probably lost that game going to see it as a positive going into the match at home to Fulham I did think we were going to win I didn’t necessarily think it was going to be a route I thought going into it Fulham have had a very good season they’re a very organized team they fight hard and that is what they did and Chelsea didn’t do at Stanford Bridge Chelsea let Fulham come at us we scored a brilliant goal 16 minutes into the match Cole Palmer dances around the full and back line and as he quite often does tucks the ball in doesn’t need to hit it with power because the Precision the accuracy and the timing of the strike was there Cole Palmer makes it 1 n to Chelsea and I’m like this is amazing just added a brilliant Boxing Day dinner add a couple of beers and a shot of Plum vodka which I don’t normally drink but it was going down well all of a sudden it’s exactly what I said in the preview but it happened the other way round I said that going into a boxing day fixture sometimes the players can look lethargic players can look tired they can look as though they don’t want to be playing football and they’d rather be sat at home with a box of Ferrero Roches or heroes or quality streets not playing football I thought maybe it’ be Fulham that would be like that because wouldn’t think moresa would let his Chelsea side play like that but unfortunately ladies and gentlemen not going to beat around the bush year it was abysmal from the whole team from the moment we scored and the manager as well I’m not going to sit here and say that the wheels have fallen off that mesa’s lost it he was never good enough blah blah blah he’s had an amazing start to life at Chelsea we’re third in the Premier League that is only our third defeat this season from day one we then lost at Liverpool and then we’ve lost at home to Fulham but it is the nature of the defeat that cannot just go unsaid just because I’ve not been able to film a six things video it doesn’t mean I don’t want to say it how it is or at least how I see it here on gbfc let me know your thoughts in the comments below but the way that Fulham were just so much more energetic than us throughout the whole game the substitutions that we saw against Fulham Christopher inku mate I’m telling you now this guy’s given up at this point are genuinely and I I’m not saying that it’s okay because it’s not but in kungu comes on he’s hardly moving I think you could blame almost everybody on the field at times for both of the goals the work rate from the Chelsea players was absolutely appalling the defensive line absolutely non-existent inexcusable defending Sanchez is also just punting the ball straight back to Fulham at the end and then when it comes to Chelsea trying to get an equalizer in the 96th minute you’ve got big Diop in defense for Fulham winning every single header there was no urgency players not really playing with the fight the drive then the hunger that we’ve seen and it’s been so it’s been so obvious really this season under Enzo moresa that everyone’s putting in that extra yard that extra mile everyone’s trying that little bit harder galvanized as a unit as a team and as well as that Chelsea not creating many chances for the second game in a row Joel Felix has just sat there on the bench so that’s where I’m sat with this right now I’m looking thinking well that’s two games in a row where Nicholas Jackson’s had absolutely nothing going for him he’s having a pretty non-existent game we’ve slowed down massively looking like we’re void of ideas it genuinely felt come the end of that match at home to Fulham not only just a defeat but it felt like I was watching Chelsea from the majority of last season it felt like a Chelsea side that were like ah don’t worry about it like it’s Boxing Day don’t really want to nah sorry but we have got to step up away at ipswitch Town IP switch okay I’ve watched a lot of Ip switch this season and as much as Chelsea should have more than enough quality which we do to beat IP switch the way the IP switch for against Arsenal the other night they were almost unlucky not to get something from that they gave a really good account for themselves at the Emirates they lost 1- nil Kai Havoc scoring the only goal of the game Arsenal leap Frogg and Chelsea in the Premier League table and look the last two matches anybody that thought we’re in a title race is now thinking well that’s kind of where we were going to be at wasn’t it we draw away at Everton feeble performance bad weather pretty average the performance at home to Fulham was bad and it was bad from a lot of players I think Malo Gusto is out of form right now I think there is a lot can be said for the amount of instruction that Enzo moresa is giving these players and the demands that he’s got and maybe the last couple of games we’re maybe just starting to see that sometimes players aren’t 100% sure where they’re supposed to be what they’re supposed to be doing but to be fair I’m going to put the Fulham game down to effort I don’t think there was any when near enough effort from Chelsea in the second half and Fulham wanted it more and sometimes wanting it more can be famous gbfc line the intangibles again but a lot of the time it is the movement it’s the running it’s the being in the right position and to be fair just having your flipping eyes open when players are trying to run round the back of you watching players runs watching the basic defensive lines that I think Chelsea have done really well at this season by catching opposition players offside but that Fulham game has opened my eyes to just quite how bad the defending can be Chelsea can be blistering going forward some matches we’re going to blow teams away but I do think that Fulham match absolutely needs a response and Chelsea go to whip switch and look as much as we’ve looked pretty comfortably in the top four we’ve been in the top four now for a few weeks we were sat in second that defeat Arsenal’s win sees us go down to third Newcastle is starting to win football match again now man city are fallen off the face of planet Earth but you can’t ever write them off in the long run you’ve got Tottenham who have got an amazing goal difference but you know they’re still getting beat every other week Forest still doing well Villa have been on a good run until the weekend Chelsea don’t want to be in a position where even though we were relatively comfortable sparking the debate of title race couple of weeks ago a couple of dodgy results over Christmas can’t turn into a spiraling of bad form so for me it is absolutely pivotal essential Monumental that we go to ipswitch Portman Road and we get a victory on the final game of 2024 so with that being said we got to build the Chelsea team here and I’ve made a few changes and I I’m still looking at this team that I’ve wrote down here and I’m not actually confident with it right now after what I saw last game I’m not confident at all Sanchez is in goal Sanchez made some good saves against Fulham and he’s had a good couple of weeks was great against Everton brilliant against brenford but it’s that distribution again just punting the ball straight to the Fulham Defenders to to get them straight on the attack for the goal like he’s got to do better it’s it’s the same every week I seem to be like Sanchez is doing well keep it up mate and then bang average you know what I mean sort it out moving into the back four I am giving Josh at champong a start in the Premier League here Gusto’s not been up to it recently in my opinion and I’m dropping it toen cwell Mark Kara toen I thought you know Fulham obviously mocked him a bit on social media I think Levi cwell was at fault for one of the goals he’s obviously come out and done a rallying speech since which is good you know get everybody back on side make sure everyone knows that we don’t want to keep going on a bad run we want to get the results I like that from him Mar career I think is very important I’m not going to sit here and say to you that I’m like really really buzzing about this game either because I’m nervous if I’m being honest I’ve seen frailties in the last two fixtures and a tiredness about Chelsea and I really hope that moresa is willing to make the right sacrifices to the structure and the way that we play whether it’s like 325 or 316 when we’re going forward like we’ve got to get this right here we absolutely do right now I think that is the best back four that we could go for I’m giving at champong the game because I think he quality I really do I think he’s got the ability and we’ve got so many matches even still we’ve got FA Cup we got morham coming up as well we’ve got Palace and Bournemouth as well sandwiched in between those I think we got Palace after this one then morham or it’s it’s one of the other I’ve been flipping flying through the air for 30 hours and I’m still jet lagged but I think at champong deserves some minutes here I don’t think Gusto’s been good enough and I think we’ll see Enzo and kaedo in that pivot for Chelsey when these two stick close to one another we’re good Enzo not sharp enough against Fulham either I think kaiso wasn’t having a dreadful game up until the ending where I think everybody was just completely switching off but Enzo and kaiso in that pivot moving forward mad wakei I’m bringing back into the team here I’m not sure if what we saw with the just dropping him out is a sign that he’s just nowhere near the starting setup right now in the Premier League games for moresa but I think he comes back in for this one I think he’ll be hungry I don’t think he’s had a bad season he’s been very average for quite a lot of it but he’s had big games Cole Palmer in the 10 Joel Felix off the left Nicholas Jackson I think Neto Sancho I think they both played the 90 in that game against Fulham at the weekend so or on boxing day sorry all the days are kind of a blur at the moment Nicholas Jackson as well I was uming and aring about him do I put Nicholas Jackson in my starting 11 he’s been off the pace but to be honest when I see in kungu come on he’s absolutely not on the pace either I think think Inu is gone ladies and gentlemen that’s what I think here on gbfc I think Inu is going to go in January I would not be surprised to see it whatsoever there’s a World Cup coming up next year with France he’s not getting a sniff at Chelsea right now when he does there’s no energy there’s no urgency it was such a lazy Performance Off the bencher in kungu against Fulham so as much as I might say well against dip switch could they kind of frustrate Chelsea go with that low block I’m going to play Nicholas Jackson I think I’ve got a back him he’s had a couple of dodgy games where finishing has been poor chance creation has also not really been there either so we can’t blame just Nicholas Jackson for that but that’s my Chelsea 11 I think Joel Felix has got to play here I think the attack has been so lackluster in the last couple of games that if he doesn’t start this one like what’s the point there’s been a lot of talk recently about Joel Felix was the only player that Mesa didn’t necessarily want but Chelsea were like we want you to have him make him better please that’s what you do you can’t make anyone better if when the attack is non-existent you don’t play an attacker that wants to play for Chelsea on the bench so Joel Felix has got to start this one for me I think we’re going to see rotation I am concerned about this game I’m not going to lie but I do back Chelsea to bounce back I’m going to say it’s not going to be easy I’m going to say a 2-1 Chelsea win and I’m going to say Palmer and Jackson with the goals let me know your thoughts in the comments down below as I said Chelsea lose and I don’t post people get flipping angry and aggressive don’t they but anyway enjoy the game six things we learned I’m going to try and get it out as soon as possible but we’re going to
