Brendon talk us through that display from your team today then it it was so good and um yeah everything that you would want as a as a coach uh I said before the game that we we it’s not a game we want to wait on we want to go and create the the game and from the very first whistle you see the hunger and the determination and the players and the mentality to impose our style in the game and um yeah skill he gets us off a great start great ball in gets the header and we were Relentless after that we played equally as well in the second half but you have to give credit to to the goalkeeper he’s made some brilliant saves we had the crossb twice the post and and then some really good defending by by Russ County but wow some of the football that we we played and and not only that the speed of the game was uh I was so impressed with the the mentality of the team you made six changes for the game but it didn’t look like that out there at all look like you know that first 11 that’s yeah yeah yeah they’re all starters you know scaly can start Alex Bay can start the two HS can start Adam can start Jamesy is Jamesy you know so um so no it’s they’re all they’re all there and uh but they they know that they know that I trust them and they know the structure of the team the guys that have come in have settled in and uh yeah and they know the demand and and the hunger that’s required you’ve had strong squads here before brenon but is this right up there with the fact it seems that everyone in the squad is almost playing at their you know their top level at the moment no I think we’re we’re we’re getting there listen it’s not lost don’t we we got boot off here last year we lost one nil no we didn’t actually one one nil sorry we actually one one nil um but what I know from from my time and and obviously no one Celtic isn’t just about the the score line it’s about the the performance and uh and I think what’s great is the consistency now and how from those moments of last year how this team is devolving and developing and uh it’s now just it’s that continuation of consistency and in the mindset but um but know that was uh these games can be really tricky after the highs of of a Champions League game and in a good point in midweek but to come and play with that energy and mentality and quality it’s uh that’s really pleasing I what for Luke McOwen a goal and three assists looked very much up for it didn’t he yeah yeah and he has been he’s just been unfortunate maybe hasn’t played a little bit more but it’s about beding into the system and and the demands of how we play but now you see he’s totally ingrained in the touch pass Tempo that that we play and the movement and the pressing and the work and uh I thought he was absolutely brilliant today you know his goals his personality in the game thought him and Pao was in the two H were were very very good along with K just Distributing the the game of the quality that he does um so yeah it was yeah the guys that came in were were excellent how big is the next couple of weeks been and you think P Zagreb Cup Final it’s a massive part of the Season yeah yeah but and we’re really excited by it I think that’s the uh these are the environments that we want to be in this we’re try to develop a team that is is going to challenge on all fronts and uh yeah that’s the uh that’s confidence that the team have at the moment but I think what you see today is the real humility of the team you know there’s nobody you know we make the changes the players come in work you know tirelessly to the structure that we want and uh and in all these games we we need that speak as a manager just having that comfort knowing whoever you pick or do the job that you want yeah yeah I think it’s uh it feels really good at the minute um it’s a big credit to the club in the summer the in terms of support and what it is we need uh so we bring in the players that we wanted I think we see and and we see the development of some of those players as well and um which is great but uh but the the team’s in a really really good good place but we’ll never get carried away it’s it’s a fantastic performance it’s a real strong uh sign that we that that we send out but we we still work and have to work very hard Wednesday night just a chance to put about daylight between you and ab thought yeah yeah it’s another opportunity to go there I great atmosphere I enjoy uh the games at pudre the great challenges always and uh and for us we know that we’re going in with a really fresh Squad confident Squad and but we know we like in every game we have to work very very hard for the uh for the result given how strong the squad looks Brendon would you necessarily be looking to add in January do you not want me to you always have to look for improvement you know and I I there’s Improvement left that we can that we have within the squads um but it’s always balance it’s always around availability we we I would know what I would like to do um but let’s see if we can but in the meantime it’s the players that are here that are progressing and and working very well
