Bennett Winkel notched four points (2g, 2a), Brady Ross had three (1g, 2a) and Charlie Finch recorded his first varsity shutout as the East Grand Rapids boys hockey team earned a 6-0 win over Forest Hills Northern/Eastern on Thanksgiving Eve at Patterson Ice Center.
Oliver Owen, Bryce Bjornson and Nolan Brooks each scored for the Pioneers, who improved to 4-0 with the win in their OK Conference opener. EGR went 4 for 7 on the power play and remained perfect on the season on the penalty kill.
