NBA’s Christmas Day dominance might be a thing of the past with the NFL trying to take over their Corners with the slated games and Roger gell and them sent a clear message to Adam Silver this weekend to count their Christmas days so Sunday Netflix announced there will be a Beyonce concert on Christmas which will also include a football game as an added bonusy concert with football yeah there’s a Beyonce concert where a football game is a added bonus on Netflix on they going to get it right Gil they get it right I don’t think so this is going to be horrible so Beyonce perform during halftime of the Ravens Texans game in Houston which is scheduled to air during the Sixers Celtics game can I know which game you’ll be watching but I don’t know and yes we did see with the J Paul watching at all [ __ ] he getting dmps what the [ __ ] I’m G watch for hey fair and we we will not watch with you and support we will not watch with you [ __ ] I’m I man let me stop watch get mad you know you watch to get mad no no no no no no no no no I don’t watch listen I haven’t watched the last few games you had missed anything no I have not missed anything so but like I mentioned dur Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight uh I think did a peak of 65 million viewers had 60 million viewers told her there were some streaming issues of course you know some of us had to find alterior methods Antonio Brown you know shout out to Antonio Brown ont how good is the Texans they okay they just beat the dog [ __ ] out the Sor ass Cowboys kedar name is it the Tex versus who Lamar Jack in the Ravens oh oh [ __ ] well they’re going to get an influx of viewers just to see Beyonce Tex currently first in AFC South s and four Ravens currently second in the AFC North it should have been a better it should have been a better team though but we got Beyonce halftime show what I’m saying is if if you’re trying to if you’re worrying about viewership then there’s just certain days that should be mobile for you right it should be a you should have a mobile schedule for this you shouldn’t pre pre-season when this schedule come out with June July right you shouldn’t automatically have teams on Christmas well they normally thinking so they can move based on so you can move based on what’s popping so they trying to compete with the NBA so they got no I know them I’m talking about the NBA this is the first time they you think the NBA should have no this like last couple years so if Christmas falls on a Saturday Sunday usually they they’ll do it Christmas on a Wednesday this year NFL doing games on Wednesday they reaching trying to compete that’s a reach for sure like game one that’s a reach Spurs versus Nicks yeah don’t nobody care about we already said Nicks versus should have been somebody else Timberwolves this is the first time they’re going to be playing like those are the things you need to do like this should be the first time they play and you put that game 9:00 in the morning Everyone’s Watching cuz they want to see what happens put it in Madison Square Garden so like have all the games like TBD yeah a month of the Season Mavs versus that should have been the Golden State game when Kay went back to Golden State that should have been that game ah right Boston versus Philly I don’t mind it okay I don’t mind that one um Lakers versus Warriors No Lakers versus Suns and don’t let the Lakers play at home Lakers vers like that should be Lakers versus Sons everybody everybody like these they’re two players at the same small four position that moves the power for they’re wanted to schedule this game on Christmas you got why not put them on the first game of the season with neither one of them or got their [ __ ] what do you think about the NFL having Beyonce do a halftime show on Christmas I’m looking forward to it I’m a Beyonce fan I already been to like three concerts so I’m going be watching you going to be watching that you’re not going to be watching you’re not going to be watching the the sixer Celtics I I flip through you know them games it’s hard day I’m tired I’m sleeping all day I’m in the bed is it going to be a longer half time I think times are pretty short like 15 but probably spend it super bowl half time is Mad long I ain’t going to lie I was like I listen to be H cuz she was with u you know Jay-Z when they was doing the little songs and then she was little little songs like when they was in DC and I did um I did um something with her found it was um you did community service I did community service the day before to help launch her her what’s her name so I went to the concert when she did freak him dress brother brother I bought all the CDs after that is crazy you old man I was young man D but it was just I was a young man it was just freak of dress and you sitting her perform I’m like yeah this is entertainment uhuh she made me believe I can get it went to a concert her concert mhm I went to uh Atlanta uh whatever the one that she was bashing JayZ what what album was that lemonade yeah I was right there just taking it I just had to sit down and take it just as a man huh just God damn it man I went to the Renaissance oh my God I did too break my soul right after the pandemic that was my anthem for the summer okay we’ll turn up so we’ve talked about the declining NBA viewership this season some of the reasons for it Lexi like you mentioned that that clip currently cooking for us among others well Greg I got to ask you what do you think about the current state of the NBA with teams and players shooting so many thre um I like it I like to just say like the players are better they’re more skilled so why would you not you got guys that can make it at a good clip and you shoot it I mean we’re not talking like four or five years ago when guys shooting 27% but they still shooting them up we talking about guys shooting 34 35% why not and you know just the viewership it’s more exciting game so I do appreciate it I appreciate seeing the Big Fellas you know running down in my threes you know I feel proud to do that cuz I never took one and what do you think about this whole analytics FR where it’s like shoot threes long twos less of the midi we’ve seen an increase in the midi in recent Seasons but it seems like a lot of guys now it’s either give me a three or give me something in the paint well I like to say this what’s one thing what one part of every allstar game that they have in common they all dominate the mid-range game you know so I I know people come in analytics it’s a little short 5 foot n guy that never play ball before outside of high school saying this makes sense but we all know from the eye test you know if you shooting and you making that mid-range you a great player you know all right well let’s keep this thing Nick with you for me I feel like the mid-range you could get any shots you want to the mid-range you can do any move you want to a pull-up jump shot compared to a you know shooting a crazy shot from the three if I was going to attack somebody or a game winner I would do a mid-range for sure pull up because you could get to any you could get to your shot from any you know any move yes absolutely who consistently leads the league in scoring I’m saying just different people but they don’t all just shoot threes the only no none of them right but the only thing that was was Steph Steph that was the only person that who’s ever showed it that it could be done but but he’s amazing at the midrange too but he’s amazing at the midrange they just don’t understand that allev all three levels so but everybody else that leads the league in scoring is a dynamic mid-range player you look at the top five six seven guys that’s scoring it’s a couple bigs in there right and it’s the Kevin Durant the Devin Bookers the Luca it’s Shad it’s all the guys that’s has perfected the mid-range game you know your point yes Nick I don’t think if you go back in history right before the three-point line right the mid-range was the most important thing right um Jordan mid-range God right those guys that that stood out Co everybody uh even T-Mac them um I I don’t think today understand why the the mid-range is important the mid the mid-range is so easy is because once I load up as a defensive player you’re you’re thinking to stop me from getting to the rim right so when you’re playing defense you have to cross your legs once you cross this leg a pullback a stop that’s where that’s where that shot is so important is that’s why it’s so easy right the three the guy’s facing you right layup the guy’s running trying to do this but if you make him turn his his body yeah that’s where the pull-up happens off guard because you have to react once somebody drives and I don’t think they understand that concept like you have to cross your legs to actually stop me from getting to the basket once you do that that’s when I pull up real talk all right well let’s keep this thing moving while we’re on the subject of the NFL
