what’s up guys I’m excited about this one uh in particular because this match was yesterday so it’s still really fresh in my mind and I’m playing against Dan um team’s new to me Dan is new to me I have been pretty consistently under hitting my lags I got to work on that but he decides to pick the game so he goes for eightball which like I said I don’t mind I love playing eightball and this is a good match it’s coming off the cailes of doing a lot of work playing against the ghost and if you guys have tried that you know it’s it’s a tough exercise it’s punishing and you have to play as well as you can all the time like play great all the time and things can go wrong very easily and it’s easy to psych yourself out it’s a good way to mimic some of the competitive pressure that can come up in a real game situation and it was interesting coming into this match because the results that I’ve been getting from playing against the ghost in nine ball and 10 ball have really jumped up my confidence when I’m coming into normal competition here so excited to get back to Masters and my captain sent me against this guy he’s opening up with the solids here which I like the five and the eight are obviously a problem down table uh everything else has got a pocket though I do believe the three goes past the 14 as it lies right now um but the five could be a little tricky unless you end up playing it up table so yeah I imagine he’ll reach for the bridge here thin cut the two and come back down I would probably try to shape the one or the four work my way down table but you do need to make sure you have a good plan for the five ball before you take away too many options here overcuts it a little bit maybe just over over Strokes it a little bit too but he’s not in terrible shape I wouldn’t want to cut the three from here so I can imagine he might go after this five ball the five does go in the top right but this is a tricky cut these are sort of off angle they can be a little hard to judge but I have to say I like Dan’s game he’s uh he’s a grinder you know like he didn’t uh he didn’t give up at all in this match he was fighting through the whole thing gives a little apologetic handwave there that’s a rough role for me to have my first shot after the break to be completely hooked behind the seven ball I don’t have a clean look at anything I take a minute with this one because coming off the short rail is touchy I think you have a good chance of hitting something when you go towards the 14 and the 15 this way but to me it just seemed kind of hard to judge so I size that up for a minute but I think the play I’m pretty sure what I end up going with here is to play into the long Rail and kick back into either the 14 or the 15 I think that’s that’s a safer way to go you’re not likely to make anything I don’t think you want to really try to make something here going after the cut on the 14 is aggressive and probably makes you more likely to miss the ball so I don’t think I’d recommend it basically you just you just need to make a good hit here you’re not you’re not going to win the game from this position so I’m basically just looking at my lines and you just need to commit either to the 14 or the 15 I think you go towards the 14 here you have a good chance of you know if you if you overhead it or you don’t quite get your spot you can go into the 15 so I missed my spot like I I missed my kick and happened to luckily come off the underside of the 15 and and back down table like I said you’re you’re not going to win the game from here but at least I’m not giving up ball in hand I have some chance of getting back to the table Dan is a skill level six based on just the EPA stuff that I pulled up um so you can play we’ll see how he levels out in this match though and starting with eight ball there there can be some back and forth you’re never going to win the set because you only play five games of eightball in Masters but it can really build momentum going into the nineball set depending on how things split up so he’s got to float down here off the one how is he so he’s yeah he decided to play into the 10 might have needed a you know a minute to to really think about his shape there because the 57 combo is not terrible but the 15’s in the way of your natural path and I don’t think he had enough to really hold the QQ ball off the one is he trying to run the five down the rail Big Shot Big Shot that’s really well played he gets good shape on the seven and the eight naturally gets kind of sent over towards the Corner Pocket on the left puts a good stroke on that one Dan came to play nice makes a good out there good break I remember Dan had a pretty solid headball break here good good snap on it loses his QQ ball a little bit gets sent back up table but it’s not the end of the world it’s got a lot of options here so just one stripe down the 11’s a great opening shot I think you might want to consider just drifting down to get below the 13 play the 13 in the top right the nine in the side oh kind of a snip draw lands on top of the 13 and no good look at the nine ball from here I’m pretty sure he’s he’s probably just going to have to try to take this cut on the nine getting safe is tough from here that’s a that’s a tough outcome right there off that first shot but yeah he he’s settled I mean he seemed kind of relaxed at the table there were definitely some situations in the match that were you know unlucky um but I really like his composure I think he he really kept it together and I’ll talk more about my mental game if you guys get a look at me in this match I haven’t seen much of the table look at this shot oh he almost makes that that’s good one now my two balls compc licated everything had a pocket an easy pocket we’ll say cuz the two ball still got the top right but that has to be addressed I have to figure out a way to get down below the two maybe play into the nine from something and that’s what I look at if I can get good on the six ball the six goes in the side and you can naturally drift down off the six towards the nine to get under the two ball there we got to get there first first cut angle on the four is really Steep and the Seven is a back cut and to me it just felt missable I do take a look at it I think yeah I come to take a look at the seven but I didn’t like it so I end up going with a thin back cut on the four and trying to float down table and hold it slightly didn’t feel like I could get to the two ball from the four but you don’t want to let this out too much we’re just trying to shape the seven because it’s got a big window anywhere in here is going to be fine for the seven this works and you know it’s naturally tracking down here so worst case if you let your stroke out too much you’re just going to come back up closer to the seven you’re pretty much always going to be fine there this is a stop shot because it’ll put me on the six I want to address that two ball as quickly as possible I’m trying to get out here so a simple stop shot perfect perfect stop right on the seven will give me the angle that I need to play the six and float down under the two I like how these feel so I’ll sight these in I’ll aim right at the bottom of the cuq ball and just nice and easy little side spin there I guess unintentionally but hit it pretty good stopped right where I wanted to be off the rail enough that I can manipulate this but the line looks really good playing into the nine would be ideal and it’s easy to under hit this one so you don’t want to baby it weird stuff can happen if you under hit it and I do under hit it little too full tracking more yeah right to the eight balls more towards the eight than the nine but just a little bit more and this I mean this area especially because the CQ ball was coming off the eight that would have been the perfect line to get under the two and then to give myself a look at the one or the three from here the three ball goes you’re running into the one it’s probably not ideal you really don’t want to be shooting the two because you’re going to have to shoot over the eight it makes it so missible it’s already a tough shot to try to cut it from here so I try to shoot the three kind of pinch draw off the three and push the one towards the top right corner pocket but I overplay it so I just put way too much on that and now I’m left with a really challenging cut on the one these are makeable and I I do actually practice this specific shot but you really do have to stay level and the speed control is a little funky on this one too because you’re either going to play into the 13 or out above the 13 which makes the five ball tougher and the window smaller you don’t want to have to mess with spin here you could scratch I it’s it’s risky I was looking at getting above the 13 which you can do with just a bit of a high ball but I was not comfortable on this shot and the other problem is I’m getting rid of my soldiers kind of same idea fewer options with each shot unless you’re playing a clean pattern and I do not have a clean pattern to get out here I briefly consider playing safe you know maybe you just roll off the one simple safe and kind of leave them up table the 13 can cut in the side and I I’ve seen that he’s a prettyy good shot maker so I don’t think I really want to challenge him to play offense so I go for the coton yeah send it right into the rail the one ends up in a similar position I move his 13 but he’s got very playable shots from here 13 to the 12 or the 10 I think a lot of players will leave the nine ball as a as a sort of insurance to block my two especially because the top right is blocked by the one but he bobbles the 13 and I am fortunate here because I immediately get a look at this two ball and this is the the trickiest shot for me on the table is dealing with a two high right on this tube ball to bank it cross side I’m just kind of lining it up like aiming at the mirrored pocket basically the mirror side pocket high right cuq ball is going to send you around between the eight and the nine and you you could end up below the one I hammered it though so it kind of tightened up all that off that first rail kind of just overplaying stuff unnecessarily and we get a little funky again so just go from One bank to another how often does that happen to you guys you play One bank shot and then you don’t end up with great shapes you have to end up looking at another bank I feel like that happens all the time banking the one felt like the most natural to me you could certainly Bank the five here and then you know maybe draw off the five to get below the one banking the one was tough because it was kind of flat so there is a risk of a double double kiss here but I had enough room I definitely had enough room to make it in the side I’m trying to draw off of it and I end up double kissing it double kissing it and then it kicks across the table into the long Rail and but into the bottom right corner yeah not not my finest hour and I get sweet little shape on the five that takes me naturally towards the eight this was a good reframe for me though in this last year among all the other kind of mental work that I’ve done is that guilt about getting lucky especially in this format where like slop counts you know BCA format which I would prefer doesn’t accept that right so it just doesn’t come up as much but if you get lucky and then give yourself a hard time about it or feel guilty about it and you let that sabotage your game that’s on you you’re making it unnecessarily difficult luck happens to everybody you just have to accept those roles and know that it’s a reality of the game and just just go with it you can make it work in your favor right even you know not necessarily thinking about your opponent’s mindset although that would factor in but you seeing luck happen and being like that’s cool like I deserve a little luck sometimes or like it’s okay for me to get lucky and um I needed that one you know like try a positive reframe you’re going to ultimately just make yourself feel better and then you’re going to play better You’ be more likely to win so just take when you can get Dan kind of immediately gets out of shape here but he makes a clutch cut on the 10 ball he’s not scared of those he made that five ball before pretty similar shot up table those are awkward very missable for a lot of players but he’s getting clean through these the 12 is a little funky oh Dan he was stretching yeah he was stretching and didn’t didn’t fully follow through that one so no rail contacted a ball but nothing nothing hit a rail gives up ball in hand here which gives me a great opportunity to take care of the 7 six these are the trouble balls everything else goes somewhere you might be tempted to start with a four just because those balls in the center of the table can be hard to properly shape but I want to go from the seven to the five the six can go in this side pocket I don’t love those shots but it won’t go down here because of the three and it won’t go up here because of the five so you have to try to clear those out first they’re sort of blockers I think we’re going to punch off the five and take care of the four ball here and then the four naturally puts us on the one we don’t have a lot of angle to work with off the five so we kind of do have to punch off this did well to move it over being straight on the four ball would have been ideal but this is still workable you don’t have to do much off the four ball to get onto the one it does seem like I rushed this a little bit I didn’t fully settle into a clean delivery here so I missed that one didn’t feel fully settled into the match yet I wouldn’t say it was nerves not feeling intimidated I wasn’t feeling rushed or anything like that I just hadn’t fully relaxed and there’s also this I have ball in hand so I’m supposed to get out kind of thing I just like judging myself for that which is overly harsh just just need to do your best that four Ball’s very makeable for me though kind of weird to miss that one so Dan gets back to the table and he’s got a great opportunity to finish this up he gets a little funky here the 1114 will go I believe which is probably what he’s playing here ra first on the 14 works but then you’re going to run into the 13 and not get GRE I think he’s going yeah he’s going for that he’s goingon to end up having to shoot the 11 or something yeah you’re not going to like that this goes I mean you can make it work getting on the 13 would be pretty touchy if you try to like stun draw you’d have to really jack up looks like he’s rolling forwards to try to get on the 12 these are deceptive though yeah I overcut it give me that one ball nope all right well the one ball would have been nice I don’t think the two ball goes it’s funny how deceptive the camera angles can be sometimes too I don’t think the two goes it’d be nice to play that I got to open with the four we bridging over the eight but it’s not I mean the four is hanging so it shouldn’t be a big deal and float up for the three in the bottom left I think the three goes came out a little farther than I wanted to I think I wanted to go thin into the four to come back up table because anywhere in here would be nice on the three still have options the three will still cut you could go this way with the three I think I just sort of poke the two and roll forwards for the one it’s not a bad play 21 63 played that nice those are tricky too close to the ball kind of a blind Target but now we want to come around two rails here I don’t think you really want to come into the the short Rail and tighten it up with spin or anything just let this roll out and come around into this window for the six or the three as a backup I think I I might use a touch of inside here to tighten this up but not a lot yeah yeah and I had to kind of play the one pretty full into the rail like slide it in this is good this is good position here though get a little bit of an angle on the three com to the short Rail and back down basically a stop shot on the six although I think I have yeah I had a bit of an angle got a little more out of the three than I wanted but this should be playable you cut this and come out and around and then you’ve got this whole area looks like I’m using some inside I checked it with inside and I’m going to scratch ah and give him a nice open table with ball in hand that stings I know that speed too that’s a that’s a silly mistake the inside was not necessary I was probably overly worried about running into the 13 he gets a little he gets a little in his head here it seems like just not confident in the pattern you could make this work with any of them but I might have been tempted to do 12 1113 but maybe he likes the 12 as the key ball because it’s so close to the eight this speed can get away from you though yeah it kind of died on the rail a little bit we’ve seen him make these though he lines that up a couple times just kind of sort of pointing at the side of the ball not really sure what aiming method that is but works for him hit a clean nice touch it’s a good one Dan that’s good finish uhoh scratch on the break all right so it’s not full table ball in hand but I need to redeem myself got to get out we’re going to table run this little touchy here everything goes taking solids you just have to figure out the one ball the one is going to want to go in the top right you can get there from the two pretty sure that’s what I do here I remember telling myself that I really wanted to settle myself with this the the ball in hand is a great opportunity for that just pick a clean pattern commit to that plan yeah we want to basically snip back off the two to get on the one clear out the top of the table and then work our way down the four and the three could both put us on the eight yeah I’m looking pretty steady now y staying still kept an angle on the one I wanted the angle to take me away from the 14 I didn’t want to be down here to have to cut the one the one is tight to the pocket the 13 blocks it slightly but I wanted to get above the one so that it’s sending me towards the seven yeah get on to the other side of that this works I don’t think the seven goes past the 14 but we just take the five ball here and spin out and around to get a look at the six and the Seven like I said the the three ball backs you up if things go really wrong or yeah if you overplay it you’re on that side to look at the four but I think you got to take the five ball now a little awkward bridging off the rail here but get some spin on that get me out and away from that nonsense Little Help from the 14 puts us on the six can stun over for the seven and the Seven puts on the four getting from the four to the three might be a little weird maybe we go from the six to the four and then the seven to the three wouldn’t mind that this is a good stun shot there’s plenty of room on that table to get over there you don’t want to have to Bridge Over the 11 but the seven is there to back you up that’s a nice touch as well you’re able to get a lot out of that four ball by over cutting it basically cutting it to the side of the pocket cheating it a little bit and I do pick my spot for the three I’m pretty sure the eight goes past the 15 but I want to just get into the center of the table to have options on the three and I’m centered enough to where the cball naturally wants to come this way and when I’m looking at it from up table I realize I don’t have to do any I just roll through this three ball I don’t have to do anything to get anywhere cute on the eight my natural line is already available so it’s a keep it simple it just laid up that way yeah lay the three clean and we can just roll through this nerves definitely came up for this aall I have to say I wasn’t shaky or anything necessarily but this is a this is a strong run and I didn’t want to get down there and just like completely mess it up by missing that eightball but that levels us out in the eightball set one game to go scratch on the break and look I make everything like two of each yeah two of each so I hand him back a nice looking table here he’s got to get out you’re not going safe in this rack I kind of like stripes the 11’s far away from everything but it’s very playable and if you get under the 11 you can take get yourself to the 12 honestly since he’s God ball in hand open with the nine and stun over for the 11 the three Ball’s touchy I I don’t think I would go for solids here and it’s hard to he’s going to go for solids would not be my choice I remember sitting there sitting there yesterday like I really hope he takes solids he committed to this though I I wonder if it was just sort of like a rigidity thing like kind of inflexible like decided he wanted this and then kind of dug himself into a hole plays a good opening shot on the seven gets nice on the six the four could take you to the one but then you know where are you going with the three you can go kind of like what I did from the three to the eight where you get down below the three here but and Jaws the six this is an interesting situation too I did have a look at the nine and that’s an unmissable shot I think I should have taken the nine here but I look around and I second guess that and decide I have the 11 now the 11 with a little bit just snip draw off the 11 keeps me center of the table I can clear these out and then work my way over I don’t think it would have been hard to get to the 11 later and the 11 128 just seems so natural as your last three so I try to I try to hold it but I overplay this by a lot and now I’m above the 12 at an awkward angle this is cutable but you have to put a decent amount of speed into the Q ball to get the 12 there and then you’re rolling into the eight and nobody likes that luckily the Eight’s not going to go anywhere really but yeah kind of silly just kind of a silly decision luckily the three balls still blocked he doesn’t have a great way to get there he’ll probably have to play the six again but he can easily get on the four he’s got a chance he’s got a chance to come out three games in the AAL set must be looking at playing the three off the nine it’s not a bad shot I don’t remember seeing that when I was at the table have been looking away or something it would not be a bad shot there not much of a positional future I guess yeah this is tough I think solids were always going to be difficult and the three ball just has been challenging this whole time he hit that really nice I don’t know about this the one ball’s still makeable but it’s going to be hard to get down below the three I think he really wanted to be in here for the one so that he could get down down into this window cuz that’s that’s how you get out now he’s got a he could have gotten there honestly high ball maybe some inside yeah high right into this rail could take you down into here now what doesn’t go past the eight I think he tries it cross side yeah I think he drives it in the right hand side he doesn’t really have the angle to go rail first into the or like play it off the nine it’s a tough shot he did pretty well honestly he got it about as close to the 10 as you could now the three is in a really bad spot I could definitely play a safe from here but no need to play defense when you have a chance to win you just go for it 12’s hanging I’m kind of glad the 12 is there because it lets me get my 10 ball free so we’re going to play the combination roll the 12 sorry roll the 10 up the rail into the three into the 12 the three is going to go out of the way basically up here and the 10 hitting the three is going to also kind of go in a similar line but not quite as far I’m trying to hit it pretty full and then I’ll either have the 10 in the side or the top left corner if that goes completely wrong for whatever reason I’ll always have the nine ball to back me up this is a very safe very high percentage situation for me just enough speed to spread them out and it opens up really nicely you could play 10 n 14 but I think you’re just messing with the angles a little bit too much also let your stroke out a little bit like spin off that nine the 14’s always going to take you to the eight so you just you really don’t have to do much here yeah and just float this down I like cuz I’m I’m getting into a little bit more of a rhythm on these last few shots but I’m not rushing it I’m still going through my same PSR nerves on the eight ball again I have to say it’s good to close that out takes us into nine ball but that eightball set was Battle wasn’t it a lot of back and forth pretty good break shot No Love it’s kind a good line to get on the two and the 39 combination is not terrible I remember seeing that it’s like ah just did all that work to get through the aall get that additional game and now be able to pop in a 39 the two is a little finicky cuz you’re that’s not terrible I mean you’re on the wrong side of it but this is still playable little bit of draw to give yourself a good look at the three he’s rolling through this ball though he’s going to go high ball yeah comes down too far I don’t think he has an edge on the three he’s going to have to kick at this I don’t think I don’t remember Dan jumping in this match because this is jumpable three is easy to hit on a jump but his kicks were on you have a chance to make this too on the right side oh almost gets it it’s a good attempt here’s a tester long cut on the three you will naturally land on the four as long as you don’t Hammer this thing and really overplay it where it’ll send you back down table but this is a tricky cut you’re going to come out anywhere up here is going to be fine I look pretty steady good speed clean don’t put me on the rail yeah yeah we’re okay though we have a little bit of an angle on the four this might be a situation where just focus on making the ball if you can stun off the rail a little bit I’m going to try to get I’m going to get greedy here yeah I’m jacking up I’m trying to stun back off the rail to get nicer on the five ja it just greedy unnecessarily but basically I think you just stun into the short rail take a longer shot on the five and then that’s basically your key shot it’s getting from the five to the six but there are so many ways for me to give myself a look at the five yeah it’s a shame I missed that one BL that pretty full I think he was trying to sort of tighten up the angle it’s hard to hold that still got a cut on the five but the speed is touchy here I mean look at the window for the six and it it opens a little bit down towards the nine but all this is no good right a lot of the tables taken out unless you commit to this side of the six or this side of the eight oh he comes out scratches cross side ouch he and I were chatting a little about the speed and the cut like the cut was really awkward and I was just letting him know and it’s you hard to know you got to commit to one side of the a or the other that’s a tough tough window to play into to come out and back I think he had the right idea but maybe a little bit outside ran a foul of that and then took them right into the pocket I like these situations this is just a an accurate draw stroke like knowing okay what does it take for this what does it take to get here to get here so I’m trying to come down to B basically a diamond past the side pocket anywhere in there yeah that’s going to be fine a stop shot is great here maybe you pinch back a little bit but you want a bit of an angle on the eight to take you out for the nine yeah I don’t think I even really needed the draw I just kind of wanted to I don’t know feels good sometimes do love to draw the ball H that pretty good starting to settle I think I need to work on this shot guys a lot of the top players will hit this with low outside and I floated through it fine you know I got through the ball fine but they’ll hit it with low outside and with some Pace probably just you know closer to a Feelgood stroke I guess but I just don’t I don’t line up that that way for whatever reason it feels more natural to go maybe a high ball or just a center ball and I know there are some natural scratch angles when the nine balls sort of over hanging over the corner like that but for whatever reason I just don’t I haven’t trained that one in I probably should there’s got to be a reason all the pros play it that way well I mean I know I know what the reason is right is that you’re coming out and around and you’re just never going to scratch but so I push here because I’m curious if he’s going to try to attack and I pick this spot specifically because he can’t really play the combination I didn’t give him enough of the one to play into the 52 and I give him an edge of the one I’m kind of challenging him to see what he’s going to try and he can certainly cut the one back I don’t think the one nine is realistic he’s going to be able to make a good hit but I think he wanted the combination I feel like I remember him saying he was going to he was trying for that after he shoots it spoiler alert I don’t know giving it away all this to say I think I played a good push here yeah he didn’t quite have enough of the one ball to get it down into the combo but played a good push I think just strategically like having read my opponent a little bit I think I played the right shot there this is very hitable the one the Seven’s in the way of the one but you just come into the short Rail and kick into the one ball you should be fine as long as you get a rail so I put some Pace on this cuz maybe something something good will happen but you just got to make sure you make a good hit I do briefly look at yeah going into the long rail to kick at it but kind of tough to judge that probably yeah okay I guess that’s a scratch shot I don’t get too upset about those anymore it’s whatever made a good hit oh I go to grab some water and he says that he’s going to wait for me jump ahead for you guys yeah he plays good into the side and gets a good look at the two he doesn’t take much time to consider where he’s going on the four and and he stuns it up I think he I think he really needed to be in here but he didn’t really look at it I think honestly even even up here you have a pretty big window uh any of that would be fine but now he’s got to try to play off the four into the five these are very missable yeah he catches a bit of a roll here though because The Nine’s blocking I can go rail first into the four but it’s touchy I remember this one being a little weird because of how thin it’s going to be going into the rail and you’re going to have to spin at it hit the rail spin into the four the cubo’s going to want to come up table towards the six if not behind the six and I just needed to make sure I was going to give myself a look at the five trying to underplay the four and end up in here to get below the nine ball just didn’t feel possible to me like okay you might make a good hit on the four but it’s either not going to go or you’re going to roll too far in making the four ball and the nine Ball’s huge blocking the five so you really have to be above the nine which means yeah like up there somewhere so this is a lot of right spin rail first oh it kind of looked like I hit the ball and the rail at the same time might have swerved around it a little bit I think I just kind of naturally lined up on that and did what needed to be done without thinking about it too much can you imagine I think you just play safe here um it’s thin on the five and you could get shape on the six but the speed control is touchy I think I just put him under the nine ball yeah full into the five that worked out okay this is very hitable come into this rail and back good things can happen just give it a little bit of pace could scratch though on the top right n he hit it okay almost makes it almost safes me behind the eight that would have stung but we have got a great chance to get out this is connect the dots really the only touch you shot is going to be from the eight to the nine and even then it’s pretty natural play that good nice stop shot going to get an angle on the seven so I just look at the the big side of my window we’ll say along that long rail this is a good Pace this is my winner pace case roll forward just a little bit keep an angle on the eight pocket the eight in the top left come off the short Rail and Float back down for the nine y don’t need don’t need much there just roll through how do you miss that one what happened there I’m going to rewind how I look okay I got down fine I think I stroked it fine this is pure mental I got down on this one I was just looking for something physical and see in the video here but this was pure and simple like I just mentally sharked myself out of it it doesn’t happen nearly as much as it used to I have to say Dan’s got a really good chance to capitalize on this game and come up 43 ah but the eight doesn’t want to go that’s silly Dan should have had that game we still have work to do you you go rail first I see a lot of people go rail first at this eight ball out and down you got to know how to judge that speed the other thing that you can do is just play full into the eight and draw back you don’t want to mess with the side pocket obviously but into this rail and out you have a lot of room you can let your stroke out a little bit and that’s going to feel nice but you’re pretty much always going to get a good look at the nine as long as you cross the center table line yeah and I I cut it wrong I think I didn’t come full enough into the eight we’re still okay but I really wanted to be like out here make the nine unmissable but we’re not missing this one silly good break hey on the snap it’s me I did the nine ball on the break that’s the name of the thing I was breaking pretty good but I think I’m also a little spoiled because I use the template rack at home all the time and yeah opponent racking the Forest Gump box of chocolates thing right I think we push here again I think I push to the long rail on the left above the side pocket and sort of challenge him to play safe I give him plenty of room I really should have left him on the rail he should be able to just put me behind the three that’s what I would do he’s queuing down on this like he’s trying to spin down table no he was interesting yeah he was trying to get me up under the three yeah H yeah interesting choice to to jack up those are touchy though if you’re not really familiar with those shots they can kind of get away from you I’m trying to roll the one into the eight here which is tough and miss it badly and catch a roll it certainly could have been a two-way I guess but I did not intend for that to happen uh and I’d get a nice little jelly roll here with getting safe but he’s been kicking out of everything so I expect him to hit this one ball I don’t know how likely you are to have something good happen from this situation but yeah his kicks are on and this one’s cool I remember this shot there’s not enough room between the seven and the eight and I’m very close to the one ball so I have to jack up to make good contact but as I’m looking at it it feels like one of those trick shots where there’s not enough room but if you’re hitting both they sort of like wedge the object ball between them so I end up going for it this one was just too much fun I remember thinking that too I was like that might not be the smartest idea but I can’t resist and it goes that’s cool I think if you ever get to the point in your game where you’re not able to appreciate silly little stuff like that you should probably take two weeks off you got to be able to enjoy those personally it feels like a healthy look at you know the best version of my game being playful having fun it is a game after all this is table speed so I’m trying to come out and back into this window for the four which is a big window up table but I’m going two rails for it which kind of feeling myself this is cutable low outside is the way to go and it’s very very playable here you could certainly go safe I guess if you wanted to duck but like why why do it if you have the out I undercut this one it’s silly I had that all day positions all but guaranteed yeah I think I just let up on it I just didn’t deliver properly not a great reason for it he’s partially blocked he can certainly swerve around to get a good hit on the four nice touch perfect Center ball tester he’s long on the five I think you can roll through this I think you could sort of force follow this to get back out any kind of look at the six is going to be nice you could slow roll it I guess if you wanted to accept this longer cut on the six come back up for the seven but I think either way it’s a tester you either make the five ball much easier by slow rolling it and then accept diff difficult shot on the six or the opposite where hard shot on the five potentially easier shot on the six I wonder if between the two Slow Rolling it is higher percentage but he kind of hammers it he was trying to get too much out of the QQ ball and then crazy stuff happens I mean the five comes around two rails into the seven and hits the seven full enough that they both roll in turns out that is a thing that can happen he said something too because it laid up here on top of the six he’s like I deserve that he’s yeah simple safe I think you just need to send the six ball down here and send the Q ball up here and just try to create some distance you’re never going to win the game from here I wonder if he could have played might have been a reach to play off the six there and put me under the eight I have a good chance that as a safety here put him under the eight I did it before in this match pretty easily so and I’ve got a lot of room to work with six is always going to get out of the way oh I babied it too baby that’s silly he’s got to look at the six but I kind of remember I seem to think he might not have had the right cut angle on it oh I don’t know it looks like he can make it shape’s guaranteed oh we overcut it give me that six in the side okay we’re bridging over the nine but the six is hanging so it should not be a problem I remember looking at this because I thought about putting a bit more into the Ball but you know what what are you going to get I mean there’s no getting tighter shape on the eight is really tough I think it’s a take your medicine type situation just roll up get a good line on the eight and accept the tougher shot on the eight yeah I don’t I wouldn’t want to mess with it too much this is fine it’s still makeable and if anything although this is sort of a thin cut the C Ball’s going to come into the eight and can kind of dive down and straight back up to lay up for the nine Touch of inside if if you’re nasty which I probably am going to go for yeah I’ll probably check this with inside to lay up the nine I did and enough speed to get off the rail it’s looking pretty nice good finish sweet all right well thanks guys I hope you enjoyed that one I had a lot of fun playing this match had a lot of fun playing against Dan he’s a good shot like I said um so yeah really
