actually lost it twice yeah and the second time was the one he paid for just put on a clinic there as fota nice to have you back saota goes top shelf opposite turns the terer net gets it back to the middle quick shot and the goal with tied Off the Wall zlac wiland turns down low he had a man weak side the puck is still loose and they calling it a goal no goal no goal General was challenged now is back in deep they get it back and a goal fire side satara walks down grey Bell serves a Dan was positioned puck now deflected in front oh played it for the far wall now out on the Rush mve by swaboda sabota holds rer and a goal Bron swaboda again got the jump and yep the skill factor there with right there to the defenseman fake the pass throws the defenseman frows the go tender and just beat him and Eisman with him and yeah well I’ll tell you if there’s an awareness on the just like how do you not give the to Isam and he really was able to decoy that night inside his own line there willinger out to be a decisive six to three victory over the miramac college Warriors to begin this transatlantic series with a win and three points just your takeways from that um happy with the end result we got to win uh big hockey points um not sure what I need to do to get this team going from the start uh first two periods uncompetitive lost probably 85% of 50/50 battles don’t stop on pucks uh don’t play the right way don’t manage the puck do everything you can to try to lose that that’s the that’s what it looked like to me and it’s I’m searching for answers for sure um certainly obviously haven’t come up with any yet because we’ve seen this pretty much every Friday night we’ve played um but you know like I said I got to look at the positives that we are capable uh the third period we’re you know definitely better and found a way to score some goals and got to the net a little bit more and won some more pucks so um yeah I mean um overall happy with the win I was to say this fight that you guys were still you know man to keep it within one goal in the after the first 40 you at least like you know find rest ass sure and the fact that your team is able to just like control the damage when things go south yeah I think Karan was held Us in there I think they had 30 shots after two periods um so he he held Us in there which was big for us to give us a opportunity to have a chance to come back on the third because it could have been a lot worse than 3-2 going into the third that’s for sure um so yeah Karam was good for us there you know but like I said it’s just it’s um just disappointing with with our effort more than anything and it’s that’s that’s the difficult thing to to to watch um is just not having enough effort and compete and it’s like I said it’s disappointing what prompted to change with Cole going to the Top Line there in the third period I had to change something I mean I I we weren’t getting anything going really I I know we scored two goals but it was individual efforts by Brandon spota he was a positive um for sure but they were both individual efforts on his goal so I just I needed to mix up the lines to see if we could get going are you to keep going on the top line going forward or is that not something you thought about yet I mean that’s the last thing I’m thinking about right now um I know he’s he can score goals and he showed that again so um yeah I’m looking for the right recipe of lines and obviously they’ve changed a lot uh up to this point um somewhat the result of how we’ve played and trying to find chemistry with with with the with our group and still haven’t really found it yeah coach your thoughts on I address this before I apologize your thoughts on going Ireland next week the uh you know the off off the ice stuff you know the experience going over there and you know the educational aspect of it yeah I’m I’m looking forward to that I think our team’s looking forward to that I think it’s going to be a lot of fun you get to experience a different culture um when we’re there for almost a week so I think it’s great for our guys spend a lot of time together um you know not only at the rink but away from the rink and kind of get to check out what Ireland’s all about if heard great things uh I haven’t personally been there um so I think our guys are excited but it’s also an opportunity to um to play for for a championship there there is a trophy at the end of this so that’s that’s important for our guys um so hopefully we understand we’re going there uh for the experience but also to Win Hockey games thanks coach thank you [Music] address the Players when you ask a question please yeah Co you got mov to the Top Line the third period kind of what’s coming through your head yeah I mean obviously you know you know things changed during the game and um ended up going on with Greener and hares and two very skilled players kind of know my my my role and I’m planning those guys kind of get open and they’re going to make skilled plays for me and um you know I ended up having a a nice goal from them making an unbelievable play and um so it felt you know felt good to kind of get some chemistry with them early so yeah Co kind of talk about that for SCH what did you see it was obviously a great individual play indidual shot what you kind of see as the play progressed yeah I think uh you know they the defender pinched up and you know hars made a really nice play off the boards and um kind of just you know gripped it and ripped it and uh you know you just over over time you kind of know where to shoot it and um end up going in so that was nice U the second goal did you kind want to put a puck on that with so many bodies yeah I mean yeah he just kind of came out to me in the slot and you know just rip it and rip it and see what happens and end up going in so it was nice M most for you tonight um what did it mean for you to you know do this against a former team yeah it felt great they’re a great group of guys over there and I really you know have a lot of good friends over there so just good to get the get the W and help the team win after your first goal you kind of hyped up the crowd a little bit I was Wonder like what emotions prompted that uh just you know the Love of the Game the atmosphere it’s a great rank it’s an awesome atmosphere and to be able to play in front of the dog pound special so just getting the fans going giving them what they want to see have anything to do with playing as your former team right now no no did you have mixed emotions you know coming into the game obviously you know that’s your former team but at the same time you know you’re in playing for be now um no you know it’s just it’s it’s another game obviously you know I’ve played three years at that college and it’s a great school and it’s a great community and you know it’s just it’s another game and you want to help the team win in any way you can so that’s just what I tried to do tonight this is for either of you guys obviously not really performance you guys wanted over the full 60 um what do you guys think is going so wrong especially on Fridays in the first game of series Ser something like that I just think we’re not ready for puck drop uh I think it just comes from within the locker room um I think uh we’re starting slow and and that’s on us and that’s within the locker room so I think we have to address that and and move forward anything for the guys thanks guys appreciate it
