[Music] welcome to tonight’s edition of Daily Record hotline live it’s been a hectic day of Top Flight action there’s still games going on well there’s a game going on uh latest from tanise is still nil nil between D United and abine um we’re hoping to be joined from a couple of the grounds by by our guys that are out there MC Ganon at Celtic Park and in Newport was at F Park um where there was you know uh some big results in terms of okay let’s let’s start with a Mia C when a hands up I may have said something a couple of even just maybe as recently as a week ago about the uh something silly about officially being a title race back on now I did I did mention the caveat and the caveat was if Rangers took nine points from from the three uh fixes over the festive period now they’ve obviously taken one from the first six and they’ll probably take nothing from the third one I did say that I reserved the right to say that the title race I would officially call it off again um if Celtic went H Brooks and won but I I I don’t even need to wait for that um Celtic for St Johnson now Big Score line another comfortable routine Victory Celtic look as if they’re picking up steam again HS won Kelly now that’s a brilliant result for for David gry who has come through a real sticky patch and is now picking up for and they’re heading on an upward trajectory mother to Rangers too we’ll talk about that in a minute um Andy Newport will join us from F Park I’m joined also by Scott mcder uh Ross County two hearts two two late goals for Ross County incredible collapse Hearts remain bang in trouble s m one dunde to dunde bring an end a difficult running results um I can see Andy has joined us uh Scott will also I’m sure you want to have your say that’s another shambolic Rangers performance isn’t it Andy yeah cly first 45 minutes is was every bit as bad as last week in Paisley um again just F to FL CL there Ed that they they basically just threw away another another half of a game and then for it a desperate scramble in the second half to try and get get themselves a result but I mean you we’re also looking at now A Team 14 points to DFT in the table you’ve got to ask some major questions about the manager I think uh I just posed the question to him there if he if he had any concerns that he still had the trust in the board if he f for his position he just said it wasn’t his concern um he was just more concerned about the fact that his team had again thrown away this this 45 minutes as he did on walking day so but I think um listen he might get another couple of days days uh he didn’t from game but I think if um if this team manages to slip up against Celtic for what the seventh time um since he’s come in if he feels to get a win at seventh attempt and I just can’t see how the supporters will accept that potentially fall 17 points by Celtic by the second of janary I think I think the manager is in a real sticky position the but he’s making it harder for himself Andy I keep saying it what was that selection all about today what was it all about man this is a guy who’s making the job harder for himself by making decisions that nobody else can fathom yeah he’s command he’s given a passion defense that we asked about if he regreted making so many changes again said that obviously um sorry Leon balagan out injured after the the not he picked up at s guys had you had the flu so that’s why those two were out but in terms of mani and chy said they were tired and they weren’t feeling 100% we’re all tired I’m it’s been a long Christmas I’ve got a bad back but no this is a no I mean listen I think he’s waiting a ro for for his own back in that sense I think at the times this season he’s cut his own nose off despite his face I think obviously he makes the point with no team in the world um you know play plays his top Stars every minute of every game and that’s correct but right now he’s scrambling I think he can maybe there is some justification because you can see that Cherney and EG Mani look tired they looked well off the pace in that boxing the game so perhaps freshing up was the right move but only if you get the guys that capable of coming in replacing them and when you’re bringing Oscar corz in hasn’t played in September Kieran D I mean where they they PL that one from I’m not sure I mean just his third start of the season but you this a guy who’s become the poster boy for W de clim you know he’s a guy that the fans largely are disappearing with so listen yeah I I think was I can understand why he felt he had to make the changes but I think part of management is is making strong decisions that I don’t think that one work for you obviously so far off the paas in the first half so far it’s happening so regularly um and I you know I mentioned and part of the reason that I kind of suggested that we could get an interesting second part of the season was because I believe he stumbled into picking a team that works I don’t think he he’s done that by Design I think it was sheer accident and the more that I look at these decisions now the more I’m convinced that that was the case Rangers had a Purple Patch because he chanced upon what a proper you know a proper attack proper variations in the final third looked like um with players that he’d previously kind of written off to me and like I’ll ask you this and then let you go but when you look at the selection and the US of players and substitutes bami is left on the bench I think until the 89th minute when there’s a salvage operation in full effect um Cortez starts from nowhere matondo is thrown on the pitch before by Ramy and of course he starts with ders and everybody knows what happens when you start with ders he’s forced into a situation where he has to take him off at halftime the the the body of evidence now mounting up against Philip kont and his decision making looks absolutely compelling overwhelming yeah I mean as I say I mean if you go 17 points being Celtic M way through a season I’m not sure there’s many um you know much going in your favor in terms of the arguments you can make to keep your job I I think that I really think this game Sunday I think in terms of the mother maybe not in the B’s eyes I mean he’s just come in as I said in the press conference and insisted that he still thinks that the board are on board with the the plan the evolution as he called it they set at the start of the season but whether the punters are we that or not is a totally different matter and I think if you see an outburst if there is a loss on Thursday then no Bard are going to put up with that we’ve seen it before as soon as the as soon as the Ang and the frustration and the fury gets turned at the director’s box I looks in the ACT we saw it with giovan Van bronos we saw it with Michael B we’ve seen flashes over with f clont and then as you see he had that slight upturn that bought up a few more days but you know listen I think there’s almost apathy there at the end there think so many the fans had seen this kind of performance before that they they just accepted it but I think if you lose to Cel to at home we know support I think you’ll see an anger we saw scenes of that last season when Michael bu’s team again was lost two at home the place went berserk and I think you you’ll see signs of that again if if don’t get the result and th there’s no things that will do anything other than lose to Celtic next week yeah the the track record in these deries under FL clont has been you know one of defeat the two draws that they’ve had have been high SC Affairs in which Rangers have been lucky not to shoot themselves in their own foot had to scramble back to get to get those two draws so listen I I think this is a huge game not in the times of in terms of the title this but a huge game for f On’s future Rangers manager because if he loses it I think you’ll see an outb from the sporters that would make it impossible for him to to cling on his manager Andy we’ll let you go mate and uh thanks very much for that listen have a have a cracking New Year and all that have a nice time you to boys but uh two completely different teams at the minute and imagine mck you can talk talk me through it but I’m guessing that was a fairly comfortable afternoon’s work for Celtic yeah all right chops um yeah did you ever get the feeling you’re the wrong kind of party something drama elsewhere and this was just a pretty run-of the m listen I thought Celtic today were were were pretty impressive um I thought quite good the second half against M day but here they really kind of turned up and just little side coming to the boil um I mean it took half an hour to get the first goal but it was it was on the on the way right from the first kickoff said right on it um and it can really go much better for I they rotated some of the squad they gave car McGregor and d ma like these guys put the bench we B arrest the guys coming in um call didn’t dip at all it was a strong team that’s put out and they just strolled it I it’s four I mean I think it was 31 shots and goal they had um it got to half time and St Johns had one sorry no touches in the Celtic penalty in the first half and they got I think four or five in the second half all within about two minutes or half time um absolute stro it was four G on eight um St Johnson just no answer to it just outclassed um th is this have we seen M have we seen Celtic getting back up to the sort of levels they the early November is are they just peing again a crucial point in the season I think just that the Celtics levels are are so much higher than the rest I mean even when they won 4-0 against m without get second or third gear I think they went through a bit more here um they just kind of clever the way the squad’s getting rotated I mean guys like Arthur Johnson coming back in after a few games out a bit of an injury back in he’s hungry he’s dangerous Nicholas couldn’t get a we break after we not coming back in last to start lightning again to day just just it’s levels Celtics Lev Celtics not playing their best are still winning with two and three goals they’re averaging three goals a game in Scotland had 15 clean sheets in 18 League games and they’re Absolut astonishing is it the stats Moun up are astonishing listen I take the point that that listen Rangers are are malfunctioning under Clon he’s really struggling they spelling points left right and center but Celtics performances and the results are piling that pressure on him because yeah this isn’t a regular season SE now I mean you look at talking about the calendar year 2024 two defeats in 50 games in all competitions I mean really I mean it’s kind of kept up on people I think but this record has been this last 12 months has been astonishing really I mean to L half 10 men and of Dortmund in 12 months yeah it’s ridiculous for him and and no team is going to keep up with that in Scotland I mean Rangers for all the problems even if they were closer to their best I I still don’t keep up with that kind of level because it’s yeah no I I we said I think right at the start of the season I kind of said that I think Celtic would smash through the 100 points barrier this season and there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that’s not going to be the case well this is meant to be the time when you grind it out you get the OD one nil win you scratch it you bite your way through the the festive period just won back toback games four nothing I mean drop points T but that’s a good good team up there it’s not a bad point in the grand scheme of things but I mean that’s I mean to through the Christmas week with back toback four n wins and room to spare um it just shows you where they are right now um and they could have be ask in better form going to iBooks on Thursday that’s for sure I was going to ask you about that Mike what was Brandon Rogers reaction after the game he must have his tail right up ahead of that match because he does enjoy a trip across the city didn’t he he does yeah I mean he’s a man in total control just now I mean touches his T to gold at the moment I think he is also ke can of highlight this this year and how special it’s actually been I mean put it this way they’ve actually won more trophies than they’ve lost games in 12 mon these tropies and two defeat so I think he’s Keen he can highlight that as well that they couldn’t really do much more in the last 12 months and they’re and they’re going there listen he’s he’s this is a fixture that he obviously he’s bossed it in two spells one defeat in 20 games but I I think though I don’t think he ever disrespects it I don’t think he’ll he’ll take Rangers lightly regardless of the problems I’ve had um then remember the Cup Final a few weeks ago a close encounter there’s been plenty of close games over the the years even when perhaps I keep saying it all time L I’ve seen poer Celtic teams beating better Rangers teams and vice versa these games can throw up some some weird results sometimes um just not Rogers involved he’s only say long lost one out of 20 but he does he does relish it um but I still think it’s a tough game I think going to going iooks no way support it’s me was a bit of me surprised that that Philip Kon is still on a job I’ve got to be honest four point gap I mean I think even he’ll be surprised still on the job at this point in time well I think I think he only stayed in the job earlier because there was no one there to sack him but he now knows there are people in positions up the stairs who will have the mandate to to do exactly that yeah I mean no no old film manager can survive being 14 points behind the big rivals before New Year by the way make never mind the the 14 points but yes that’s a sackable offense but if you go into your first seven Darby Games Against Celtic and fail to win any of them you can’t I don’t know I don’t know anybody that would I don’t think that’s ever been survived before yeah but I think I think maybe not the stage that even even winning on on Thursday does that does that actually mean that E’s going to be ony keep that could actually be yeah yeah I mean I think just at that stage I mean I think he’s completely I mean I think he won back a few fans that we a mini Revival they had um when they played last a great performance and result and N did well against SPS and were competitive in the cup final but listen not getting thumped by Celtic isn’t an achievement kind be hanging that that’s not I mean we talk about the moral trophies and all that stuff that doesn’t exist um and it’s in the last week or so has just gone completely off reals again um it’s back to be there kind of after listen after the United game May about five six week ago if I had been any other kind of season with any other structure and place be to the SE Rangers it’ been that that been plant po under the arm under the car in the car park wouldn’t it so he survived that period to get that re Revival but are they any further any further forward I don’t know always feared that that the Rangers Squad wasn’t deep enough and strong enough to cope with the winter and by the way we’re only halfway through it January is another nightmare month the game’s coming thick and fast big gam coming thick and fast well tell that just in terms of that M and then I’ll let you go and crack on with what you’re doing um get back to the bosom of your family uh after Christmas in terms of Team selection issues um any Fitness issues going into hbrooks that that come about at the end of today’s uh game M or is it all pretty straightforward that’s the thing it’s still cliche nice headaches for Celtic yeah I mean they’ve Johnson back fit K back fit managed to give Ma and McGregor some time to give him a few minutes at the end to setet their legs but they’re fly fire everyone seems to be James Forest is out for a longer term um interesting for me I think AR angles today that thatti the player that Celtic signed for quid he was superb that’s interesting coming off I would supect that he’ll be starting he’s just played his way into a starting place I think he’ll start at iooks I think Bernardo played 90 minutes he suggest that he won’t be starting I play start on the bench so I think it’ll be hatti Engles and McGregor middle of the park um I think Alex baay played 90 today suggest he won’t start iook either I’d imagine Greg Taylor be back in if he’s all right which I think he is um kyogo Nob brainer big big game player forel scored two goals a day back on back in the goals Lively you know his record against Rangers it’s pretty impressive he look he’s a guy for the big occasion so yeah I think that’s the only de talking point for Celtic I think I think that’s been answered today I think Engles coming off half out the go suggest he’s going straight on the team sheet for for iooks and if plays that we did today understandably because it was like I say was it was really impressive right brilliant Michael thanks for joining us and uh go and do your work and as I said get up the road and uh well we’ll see a lot of each other over the next few days won’t we because we’ll both on over the week see me in my bosom all week so what a horrible thought to ahead of ume of the trip across the city later this week give me your view on on what you’ve seen today where you think it leaves Rangers clemont the whole shooting match um I think clemont will be gone if he doesn’t he doesn’t he win on thday Keith um and to be honest I think after today know the people upstairs I Brooks Patrick Stewart obviously coming in his new Chief exac I think I think it’ll probably even crossed Their Minds tonight whether um to relieve clemont of his duties even before the off F game I know that sounds pretty dramatic hold on Scott you think there’ll be conversations going on tonight about whether or not you you leave that man in position ahead Thursday you think you genuinely think it’s reached that point tonight yeah I think so because at the moment you touched on earlier there’s no way there’s nothing at all to suggest that Rangers will get that game at I Brooks and and go and win it um ju clemont seventh attempt I know from Derby he’s not one any of them yet um I think Andy touched on it know with the home crowd on Thursday no away fans but know the Rangers crowd are going to turn up there no expecting well obviously expecting a big performance but at the same time almost knowing that as soon as uh as soon as Celtic go ahead or as soon as Celtic got footh hold in the game it could turn toxic at any at any moment um and that would be a real bad moment for for clemont um as I say if he loses a game I just don’t see any way I don’t see any way back for him but today was a today was a shambles I mean on and off the pitch uh to be honest you mentioned earlier the team selection absolutely staggering um I thought he made a staggering call against s Marin the other day leaving Nik orasin on the bench who’s been his best player for weeks has to throw him on at half timee for all over is genuinely all over the place I and I think Scott there’s been periods and think as I said they had that Purple Patch where he just threw mud at the wall and some of it stuck and the stuff that stuck was giving rasing more game time bringing [ __ ] in from nowhere all that stuff kind of made Rangers better I I I find it astonishing they going into this crunch period in the season he then rips it all up starts throwing jerseys around again well you you mentioned ear the reason he did stum almost stumble upon that lineup with likes a Hadi coming back and eager man emerging but the reason they had that Purple Patch was because for the first time this season there was a bit of continuity and a about of consistency with Team selection suddenly fans suddenly fans could relate to a starting 11 that they thought there was almost an identity yeah I this might actually be be good enough to go on a run and put a run of results together and as you say to go into a period like this know you’re already trailing Celtic you know you’ve got well you know they’ve got two relatively comfortable home games with all due respect to mother and St John mother and St Johnson and knowing that you you need to go away for home where they away for has been abysmal All Season by the way before before that and to then as you say start ripping up and making changes and wrestling guys putting Des back in the starting lineup honestly the I mean the ders the ders and double decisions today I mean where does that even come from I know I mean has to it has to stop I mean this has to this has to be the end for for des’s being regarded as a a starting number nine for Rangers the KE and debate if there ever is if there ever hasus been one has to has to be ended now um and listen it’s a bad look for any manager I think when when he picks a team 100% that the man in the street can tell this is going to go PA shaped I mean you’d have probably as soon as that team Sheet dropped today I got a couple of Texs and know phone calls for Pal’s not saying this is going to go perit for Rangers here this team is wild that that team selection for that for a tough away game that they need to win and and as I say it’s a bad look for a manager when when the guy in the street can see what’s going to happen but the manager the manager doesn’t and how he put his faith in ders and D starting that game and then basically had to hold his hands up at half time and say listen I got it totally wrong I I’ll throw for the for the second game running exactly I’ll throw in the guys that that that you thought should have started basically I mean it’s just a terrible it’s a terrible indictment a manager and that’s where clont and listen I like clont terms of dealing with him at press conferences and stuff like that and I think you can’t argue his record before he came to Rangers but I think you mentioned it earlier I mean I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a manager who hasn’t helped himself and I hope by by some comments and especially by team selection um and this whole Sport Science thing well I was just about to come on to that Scott I mean he’s killing himself here He makes himself look so weak basically sports science is coming into his office and say by the way no starting him but I tell you what seral D’s got a whole load in the tank that’s astonishing but Keith we had this conversation know after the Dynamo Kev game before the season had start when he came in and they left chy out in the Dynamo Kev home game um to qualify for the Champions League been man of the match the previous game at home and sports scientists had told him I mean so they get knocked out the Champions League lose potential 40 million quid and yet he still does he learn his lesson he still gets to December where he’s trailing in the league by 10 11 points and he’s still making these decisions I mean it’s absolutely Aston I think somebody said did a sports scientist ever get sacked for losing three points on a Saturday afternoon or whatever it doesn’t happen and you know I I also wonder Scot what the what the science would say what the data will say if you thrown a guy like for example chy this afternoon has to come on at halftime his team two n down has to then run himself to a stand still to try and get Rangers back in it manages to to help Salvage I guess you could say a two two draw yeah um but surely if chy went out at the start of the game and gave it 45 minutes or an hour and you know just just helped Rangers get themselves into a comfortable position surely that would take less energy than this frantic you know run about with your pants on fire for 45 minutes to try and avoid another crisis Keith chelney and eager man were having a Chas down every loose ball in the second half because they were the two guys who were making things happen for Rangers so you’re right I mean they must be they must be using more energy in that situation than they would be starting the game and trying to get the team in front and trying to come into a comfortable position where they can come off after an hour um it’s ridiculous and and clont postmatch comments about how basically attacking wise in the first half they were actually okay it was it was their defensive display it was a problem and by the way the defensive display was a problem but if he think the defense is the problem why is he not making changes at the back why why is Leon King not coming on for Robin proper who was having yet another absolute nightmare he’s almost inexplicably poor I actually felt uh St M’s winner at the weekend that he could have done so much more when the ball was was was laid back uh for the win and goal I thought he was all over the place at that I thought again today he just looks like he looks like he’s a Competition winner I mean how much did Rangers pay for this guy well one and a half million which was supposed to be an absolute bargain because they’d exploited the a pole contract I mean just a signing doesn’t look equipped for Scottish Football um body language is terrible he’s he’s pointing and appealing for free kicks and you know I did that again at Mother’s opener today doesn’t look up to it physically it deal with the demands of Scottish Football listen he’s even spoken himself about how he’s struggled to to adapt I mean how that wouldn’t be an issue before you sign him I don’t really know I mean I mentioned my piece this morning H in the Sunday mail I mean for me the last three left-sided center backs Rangers have have signed for money of waiting get Jack Simpson Ben Davies and Robin proper none of whom are anywhere near good enough to play for Rangers and that that listen that’s going back to the bigger picture that a whole new discussion about about Recruitment and and everything else but proper doesn’t look up to the job he hasn’t looked up to it since he came in and it’s a major worry for Rangers obviously get into the Celtic game could you imagine you imagine weo rubbing his hands thinking I’m up against him Thursday I mean he’ll be liing his lips out well he struggles for Pace proper he likes to drop deep because he knows he he struggles with balls in behind know we’ seen a couple of times day in the first half but you’re right I mean kyogo MAA Kun they will just be letting the lips and and another issue Keith about Rangers I don’t know if you’ll agree but I mean what’s happen to Jack Bot oh yeah I do agree completely agree he’s he’s blowing it he’s blowing it for the opener at man um I thought he was awful today the the one where he get he out of jail with the Tony W one where you know that could easily that goal could easily have stood because there wasn’t much in that and then the one where H was it ume Casey Casey’s Heather he’s got to see that over the top he’s just he’s a big guy how can he not touch that over I I think you’re absolutely right he looks to me as his confidence is shot yeah I thought it was poor for the first goal the day as well I thought he could I thought he can try and save it his feet I know it’s difficult for Keepers to get done with their hands when it’s so close the ball so close to their feet and the their body but he’s he’s got to try and save it with his legs you know what I thought Scott for the first goal I think that because of what happened at St Marin he he stopped I think he was coming for that ball and then maybe it’s held up a little bit he’s hesitated he’s decided I’m not doing that because of what happened at s man and it was the wrong decision I think if it comes to the box he probably gets there first the problem is just know throughout all this kind of turmoil at Rangers he’s been one of the few guys that that fans could rely on know they thought he was he’s a pretty consistent seven eight out of 10 every week know he a ho with big saves he’s an experienced guy as you say I think his confidence looks shot to Pieces Ian and his decision making totally erratic the the decision at St Merin again I said that a small I mean it’s just one instant you knowbody know Slaughter the guy but I mean it was such a poor decision an awful piece of goalkeeping to decide and it cost Rangers big time and I know the performance was Miles off it but if they could have got in at halftime at now now at St Marin and then had the reaction second half was every chance they probably would have on and won the game but they gave themselves a mountain to climb and it came from absolutely nothing other than botland making a really poor decision um and as I say again the Celtic game as I said I think his confidence looks short they’ve got problems all over the all over the team now and he’s one that you never really expected but he looks he even he looks miles off as well which I never thought would be saying right okay SC we’ll go through some uh some of the comments here just to keep the guys updated just now the second half is underway at tanise still goalless between D and Aline uh David Taylor watching live on Facebook there will be a major backlash in the stadium on the 2nd of January if Celtic scores four or more goals similar to the drama over 30 years ago at Celtic Park well wouldn’t like to encourage that David but the Rangers fans are right on the point aren’t they they’re right on the point of a full scale Revolt yeah which is incredible given a few weeks ago I know you’re getting yourself a bit of stick for it but the Rangers fans thought they turned a they thought they turned the corner I’m not sure if they thought they were going to get back into the title race but know when Celtic Dro points at tanise I’m pretty sure Rangers fans looked and thought I if we can win it know St Mar and mother and then know going beat Celtic and the the Derby to make it six points I mean suddenly that that can give you a massive boost of confidence it gives you a bit of momentum it puts a dent in in Celtic that might seem overly optimistic but that’s what they were thinking given the the decent Runner form and I’m saying decent because I don’t think it was any more than that I think people maybe getting carried away a we bit with the League results again St Johnson K and dunde um all du respect know the the kind of lesser Lights of the the Premiership so but there was a we bit of optimism there and I just I don’t think they they’ve seen this coming I mean clont said that um after the S Mar game but as we’ talk Stone he’s no helped himself he’s absolutely killed himself with with poor decisions um some baffling team selections and it’s came back to B them Scott you know the comments there about how hostile things are likely to get uh at iooks if things go wrong for Rangers on on Thursday you mentioned earlier you believe that tonight there should be conversations going on uh at balroom level at Rangers about whether or not to stick by clont or or pull the trigger on them before Thursday do you think if they if they pull the trigger before Thursday at least gives them a little bit of rest bite it might lighten the mood around the place um because the hostility is all going to be aimed towards the Dugout isn’t it or or I take that back there’ll be some there’ll be some venom for the director’s box as well I would imagine yeah listen possibly it is a very tight turnaround and that’s why although I’m saying I think there will be discussions tonight at board level you know I don’t think they’ll make that decision before the the Celtic game I think clemont will get the will get the Derby and then there have big decisions to make um after that but I do think it will be listen Andy say the ear you you can he be 14 points behind Celtic under any circumstances come the turn of the year I mean it’s just not good enough I mean 14 I think this I had this that when Sky they’ve won something like three in the last 14 away games yeah that just it it’s a wful outfit again John C watching uh live on YouTube clont have picked his strongest team for the past two matches to get the most points in the bag before the Celtic game another two miscalculations by clemont he’s he’s spot on 100% but it’s more than miscalculations it’s this is why I use the word unfathomable I don’t know how anybody Tak the momentum into the next game then you’re still looking towards the old F game thinking there might be something on that match um but the fact is whatever kind of [ __ ] of light that there was for Rangers in in the the title it disappeared in Paisley and it’s never coming back I mean Celtic Celtic will Stomp all over him now from here on to me and I think it could get very messy for for Rangers and in front of a you know a full home support on on Thursday I think it’s get mess written all over it well it certainly looks that mean you you said ear Brandon Rogers loves that trip across the city I don’t know the numbers but I think his record at iooks is terrific um it won’t phase them at all I don’t think in terms of not having any fans there theyve been there and done it now several times already they will be absolutely relishing it they will see they would never admit it and and I wouldn’t expect any Rogers team take the foot off the gas but let’s no kid they will know mean if it’s not clinched already but to go 17 clear at the turn of the year no that’s it’s insurmountable um and Celtic will then be able to as ridiculous as it sounds they will be able to handon you need to keep that no that has to of course you can Tinker one or two of course injuries are going to play their part but to make radical changes and listen I mean he said today haji’s ill for himself it’s just astonishing I think a few weeks ago when Rangers a really poor performance uh against unday nighted at home Des started they come came off at half time so I mean that’s these performances shouldn’t come I’ve said that since they came in since the start of the Season Des is nowhere near good enough to to be a number nine a starting number nine for Rangers or a First Choice number nine um and he showed it again showed it again today um nowhere near the level eager man Remember by the way eager man’s nowhere near the Finish artical either talking old but he’s so much better than Des but well you see the difference the second half two finishes wow um so no I mean the IR is Keith I actually think Des is better coming off the bench I think there’s games when he’s came off the bench when other teams are tired and he’s got himself one or two goals I think someone told me the other day it was if you actually look at his record going way back to fard he scored a the situation the reality of this city this rivalry he can you can of keep losing all firm games you can be 17 points behind Celtic and even on a smaller scale you can be a Rangers team that that doesn’t know how to win away for home and that that that’s the case yeah with at the moment well a massive week ahead then uh on on various levels um yes I have declared the title race officially off again um but you know I think I think there’ll be other issues which will now come to head over the course of the next few days Scott mcder already thinks that discussions will be ongoing tonight at I
