this is danger zone for Arkansas and I I’ll get to like Illinois being really good in this basketball game but like this Arkansas team is gross um they provide absolutely zero resistance defensively uh Illinois shot 53% from the field 49% from three and that’s with Will riy going one for five can’t wait for my will Riley three-o percentage update from you Gregory two for nine one five three one for five from three two for nine from the floor 0 for one from free throw William anywh who even with that they make 15 three-pointers in this game and shoot 48% from three like they they dominated this basketball game um it I can’t believe the score was even as close as it was in the second half um it ends up being a 90 to 77 Victory this easily could have been Illinois like 25o victory yeah the scary part is this I’m going to make like one to two will jokes before the end of this video so prepare yourselves now Illinois fans but uh the scary part is this will riy didn’t have to do a thing in this game and Illinois dog walked a pretty good team Jesus man like that’s not supposed to be the cell if you’re G to blow out Arkansas you’re supposed to have like all three of your stars going at once they had two of them going kylin was really good H Rick House made shots like but so I I come off this game being like I think this was pretty close to an A+ performance from Illinois and I got some Illinois fans that were like no it wasn’t will riy did nothing and I’m like okay I I can hear that but to me like even if Will was doing things like you probably don’t get the other guys doing as special things right like there’s a give and a take here you can’t just get 23 from casparis 21 and 10 from Tom kylin being incredible and will Riley go seven for eight from three this is how you got to constitute it A+ performance doesn’t mean that everyone on the team is playing to the best that that’s that’s something that just doesn’t that’s not an A plus performance that that’s shouldn’t be the scale here if Illinois shoots 48% from three and casparis is in the 20s and is aggressive that’s an A+ performance to me because that’s what I want the identity of Illinois to be I want an aggressive [ __ ] to him casparis playing twom Man game with Tom being the driver of everything hunting his own offense and all the other guys making shots and that that was this whole game to me like you can complain that will didn’t make shots but um yeah I mean your star starred and that’s what matters your stars starred casparis and Tom starred um uh and by the way don’t blame will for his issues in this game it’s not Will’s fault that he went two for n from the floor and 0 for one from the free throw line um it’s actually John Cal Perry’s fault blame Cal because Cal never got the walk- on in it was a huge sign of disrespect uh Cal Arkansas was down like 16 this entire second half and Cal just wanted to play his starters until the buz buzzer sound it’s [ __ ] you’re supposed to bring in the Walk-Ons Cal so that will Riley can go from five to 20 points in the final four minutes he didn’t do that I don’t blame will I blame John caliper for that uh Jake Davis Off the Bench hit a three played six minutes it was it was jarring for me to see Jake Davis playing like serious minutes for this team what was going on with that he was in the game before DGL was yeah I I I don’t understand that I really don’t um especially given that djl was productive in his 14 minutes yeah like I I I don’t know I just it it it goes back to the simple exercise I like doing is like if we’re gonna do the Jake Davis versus DGL thing just play Drake is law Horn 21 minutes or get those seven minutes for Jake Davis can go to somebody else uh and ggl does everything that Jake Davis does yeah yeah I um I could have looked at it wrong too because djl ended with 14 minutes to Jake Davis’s six but I swear when Jake Davis was in the game at first I thought djl hadn’t checked in maybe that was a drunken Thanksgiving mislook by me but um so there was a moment and shout out to Illinois fans in the Discord I watched the first 34 minutes of this and then I flipped over to BYU because that was getting interesting down the stretch and Illinois had this one in control and uh casparis apparently just went nuts and shut it down and so I had to take Illinois fans word for it and then I went back and rewatched it I I did the Matthew love ball rewatch this morning uh it it got to closing time casparis said go home it’s my time and he just I’ve been I tried finding um the the Lithuanian translation for go home take your ball and go home I couldn’t find it but I was willing to come with that episode he literally said Mr Calipari you know Mr a Visage the other Visage take your ball go nothing he’s going to be able to do and uh that was Apparent from the start the Illinois team has more Shooters they have better players um we know we we’re now seven games in the season Illinois six and one we have a very clear identity of this team once again I want to Pat ourselves on the back because we knew the identity of this team cart it’s not an eight-man crazy deep team it’s three Superstars and kylin being pretty good you probably got that in wrong in the offseason you thought kylin would stink do you want to eat some Crow on that can I get a little bit of credit for him starting the year stinking like a game he’s been so good for four straight yeah he’s been really good he’s been so good um yeah I just like it this team is like topheavy this team is like four really Jake Davis seven minutes yeah uh Trey white 10 minutes zero points one shot attempt he missed a three two rebounds no other stats recorded and two fouls is pretty unplayable in this game um they didn’t this is the guy they’re starting over will Riley I just we got to keep saying they are starting Trey white over will Riley um so we it made us a little harsh I would like to think in my heart cart uh I believe you know how like with the Grinch they get to the climax and it’s like the Grinch’s heart through 10 sizes that day yeah Brad Underwood’s transfer portal browser refreshed 10 times that day that’s what happened after this game uh I would like to congratulate Trey white on not being in Illinois’s rotation next year oh because he’s there or because he’s at another school I don’t every single year where he just like reevaluates and runs a dude out who knows maybe Trey white will red shirt five minutes into the first half of a game next season but like I I believe fully with my heart at this point this was like one misevaluation from Brad He’s not giving this team what he was brought to give and I don’t know what the pivot is I would assume the pivot is just start will riy because will riy is really good but uh yeah if the pitch was like we got Ty Rogers with shooting Trey white doesn’t do the Ty Rogers things as good as Ty does and Trey white also can’t shoot yeah also win for win for Ty Rogers yeah meaning what the guy that kind of like was like oh he’s the guy that does everything better than you is not doing anything and playing 11 minutes yeah I guess I don’t nothing but moving on the court that that’ll probably knock him back down to the back half of the first round yeah yeah it’s it is frustrating um it’s so hard not to do this every video the NBA thing well it’s just it’s frustrating for hum Rick House White and Carrie Booth to you know play like this cuz those three who are mocked in every mock draft uh combined for 40 minutes in this game and gave you nine points and four rebounds who scored that nine points that would be H Ros the Toronto Raptors loved it I’m sure uh I have a casparis take to get off quickly please Illinois fans I think are going to hate this too this I don’t know why this got so sour um this is such a good game from them so I figured out the casparis jagor demon thing I was watching these two games simultaneously last night and I figured it out you know because it’s like who’s better who actually got the win with like Illinois getting casparis and BYU getting Jor figured it out jagor is like this much marginally better as a player than casparis just this much it’s so incremental it’s barely there they’re both allamerican level talents but jagor has negative [ __ ] to him and casparis has loads of [ __ ] to him wait well you mean yet you mean that the other way around right no casparis is the one that has [ __ ] to him casparis is the one that has [ __ ] to him and cart that’s why in the summer when casparis played jagor casparis destroyed him jagor is like the the 0.1% better talent because he’s bigger and he just he does a little little even Saucier passing stuff than casparis does but they’re really they are almost identical players other than jagor being bigger casparis is the one with the [ __ ] to him Caspar is a dog jagor is not and we’ll talk about that in the BYU recap but like if it coming back to this I’ve said repeatedly I think gor is the better player Illinois missed out hell no they did not casparis is the one you want I think here ah that’d be longer form him for another day but I strongly disagree with that it clicked for kasparis dog ever since we just said he needs to look at The Rim like if this is the kasparis Illinois gets for the rest of the year they can win
